    The staff were very friendly and helpful.

    There were many great things about this place, but the staff’s service was especially excellent, and I had a very pleasant stay. At check-in, they handled the process efficiently, so I didn’t have to wait at all. During meals, they were very attentive, making it not only delicious but also a truly enjoyable experience. I would definitely like to stay here again.

    The views are stunning, and the value for money is excellent.

    As it’s a new Hotel, it was great to stay in a clean environment. Above all, the view is wonderful. It was crowded during the Obon holiday period, but we still enjoyed the lounge and had a great stay.

    The view is spectacular.

    Stayed on the club floor with a view of Osaka Castle. The Room was small, but the view was amazing. The weather was great, so I enjoyed Osaka Castle in the daytime. Osaka Castle lit up at night as well. It was nice to see it in the morning too—so many different views of Osaka Castle. The club floor itself was disappointing. There weren’t many drink options or food items. It said to request a taxi at the 6th-floor front desk, and I asked a staff member when returning my key, but they told me to request it at the front desk. After waiting in line and asking there, I was then told to request it on the 1st floor. The staff were Japanese. I had breakfast on the 6th floor, but that was also underwhelming. I often use this Hotel for lunch, so compared with that, breakfast felt lacking. The takoyaki being frozen is fine, but it didn’t taste good. Given this Hotel’s grade, I suppose this is about what to expect. For locals nearby there isn’t much benefit besides the view, but having Osaka Castle appear this close is truly wonderful.

    Tenjin Fireworks Day

    I booked a river-view Room to enjoy the fireworks in comfort. TV Osaka on the lower floor was broadcasting the fireworks live, and the view from my window was exactly the same—absolutely wonderful. On this day, nearby Hotels were charging close to 100,000 yen per night, but DoubleTree offered a very reasonable rate.

    Thank you for the warm hospitality of the staff.

    Regarding the Club Lounge, I had previously seen the afternoon tea that used to be offered, so I found the current refreshment service a little underwhelming. I understand this may be due to differences in service content and categories, but if there were a wider selection of sweets and light snacks, it would make the Club Lounge even more appealing. On the other hand, the Hotel and all staff members were truly wonderful, and I was able to spend my time very comfortably. When I consulted about staying with my grandchild, you kindly explained that many Suite Rooms have double beds, while also letting me know that a twin type can be requested and even guiding me carefully on ways to stay at a better rate. I was very pleased with your considerate approach from the guest’s perspective, and it felt like a Hotel where I could consult with confidence. If the Club Lounge becomes more well-equipped, I would definitely like to stay again next time with my grandchild.

    The staff were wonderful.

    We chose this Hotel because our child was interested in Osaka Castle. We were surprised at how much larger Osaka Castle looked than we had imagined when viewed from the Room and the lounge. It is definitely worth seeing. We used the lounge during breakfast and the refreshment service. Breakfast offered a decent variety, and we were satisfied. The snacks during the refreshment service were fewer than expected, and for all three days the only cake available was chocolate cake, so it would have been nice to have at least one more option. Having a whole banana was very helpful for our child. While using the lounge, there was spilled juice near the juice stand, and before we noticed it our child got their clothes dirty. A staff member immediately rushed over to help us. It seemed like a previous guest may not have returned the lever quickly enough and the juice overflowed, but even though it was not really the Hotel’s fault, several staff members—including a manager—apologized to us throughout our stay. Their professionalism in both manner and words truly reflected top-class service. Thank you very much for all your thoughtful care. Our whole family had a very comfortable stay.

    It was very comfortable!

    Due to a sudden change of plans the day before, our stay was last-minute, but the Room, the meals, and above all the hospitality of the staff were all wonderful, making it a truly lovely stay. Thank you very much!

    A new and comfortable Accommodation in Osaka, where more Hilton properties are opening.

    As it has only recently opened, both the public areas and the guest rooms were very clean and comfortable. I didn’t see any other Japanese guests, so it felt like being abroad. The design is simple yet upscale. I stayed in a twin river-view room and was very satisfied with the view. Within Hilton’s lineup it feels more on the casual side, but the rates are on the higher end, so I made my Reservation expecting pricing that reflects its newness. In reality, it felt more luxurious and comfortable than mid-scale Marriott brands. One downside typical of Hilton is that Wi‑Fi requires membership registration, which is still a bit of a hassle—I’d like to see this improved. I’ve been registered for years, but if you don’t use Hilton as your main brand, it doesn’t always go smoothly. The cleanliness and views are major highlights, and overall I think this is a Hotel with very high satisfaction.

    Disappointing.

    The Room was riverside, and at first we said, “The view is nice and beautiful,” but then we thought, “Wouldn’t it be better if the window were a bit bigger?” It’s tall vertically, but unless it’s wider, you can’t really enjoy the view. Is that supposed to be stylish? The amenities were minimal—there wasn’t even facial toner. Many Hotels I’ve stayed at in recent years provide toner as standard (even outside club floors), along with bath salts and face masks, so it immediately felt much less luxurious. The bathroom had a separate washing area, but there was no bath chair so it was tough, and there was a slight odor. The pool was colder than anything I’ve ever experienced. I swam like it was winter swimming—shivering and moving just to warm up because I honestly felt like I’d freeze otherwise. Here too, I wish they had made the entire Osaka Castle side floor-to-ceiling windows; only part of it is windowed. From inside the pool we found a small spot where you can see the castle and enjoyed it from there. Maybe they’re trying to express wabi-sabi? But since you’re going to have a pool anyway, we talked about how it would be better if it had an open feel with great views. In the executive lounge we could sit where we could see Osaka Castle. The food selection wasn’t large but everything tasted good, and they served tea from a brand I like, which was nice. It was disappointing that there was no draft beer—only two kinds of bottled beer. It said that guests on a Plan with breakfast could choose either the restaurant or the executive lounge for breakfast, while guests on a Plan without breakfast could eat only in the executive lounge. Since we had a breakfast-included Plan, we tried the restaurant—but for two-person tables they seemed to have only seats deep inside where you can’t see Osaka Castle. Even though four-person tables were available, we were still taken to an inner table and felt disappointed. The tables were close together; from when we were seated onward the person next to us kept coughing frequently, and I wanted them to move us. I went expecting more variety than in the executive lounge restaurant option as well—but there wasn’t much variety and there wasn’t even a main dish. No steak or roast beef-type meat dishes; no raw fish such as sashimi carpaccio; no tempura; no salmon roe or mentaiko—just very ordinary items with nothing in particular to eat. In desperation I tried takoyaki—and it tasted bad, which shocked me. Once you eat breakfast at the restaurant you can’t have breakfast in the executive lounge afterward, so I don’t know what their breakfast offering is like—but if you can relax with a good view there, I regret not choosing a Plan without breakfast instead.

    Day-Use Plan

    I didn’t have time to travel, so I used the day-use plan. The staff and the Room were both wonderful, and I was able to enjoy a comfortable escape from everyday life. Since it’s nearby, I’d like to visit again for a refresh.

    Christmas

    Despite the unfortunate rain, we enjoyed our stay with the kids as a family. This was our third visit, and the pool, breakfast, and above all, the stunning view of Osaka Castle were exceptional! We look forward to staying here again.

    During the three-day weekend

    The view of Osaka Castle was stunning. Sleeping in a position where you can see the castle was an incredible experience. The warm chocolate chip cookie we received at check-in was delicious. The living room, bedroom, and bathroom were spacious, allowing us to relax comfortably. Additionally, the bathrobes were fluffy and had an amazing texture! The pajamas were made of comfortable material, which even delighted our child. It would have been nice if the food offerings in the club lounge felt a bit more special. Thank you so much for your thoughtful birthday plate and for your kind words to our child!

    Unfortunately.

    I might have had too high expectations because it’s part of the Hilton chain. Although I informed them during the Reservation that I would be traveling with a child, there were no amenities for children, such as slippers, potty seats, or step stools. I contacted the front desk, but they didn’t bring them on the first request. After several follow-ups and about 30 minutes later, they finally arrived. Even when delivered, there was no apology. The lounge had limited options and lacked a sense of luxury. For this quality level, ¥50,000 felt expensive.

    Hotel with a view of Osaka Castle

    A very clean and satisfying Hotel. However, as someone with no sense of direction, I had no idea how to get there from Tenmabashi Station and got lost because I couldn't read Google Maps. My apologies. The highlight is the amazing view of Osaka Castle from the restaurant. Although I booked a Plan without meals, I added breakfast as an option and enjoyed a leisurely meal while admiring Osaka Castle in elegance. The buffet had a wide variety of options, and the mixed juice was exceptional. With outside temperatures exceeding 35°C, it was hard to go out, so I stayed until just before check-out time. Thank you for providing such a cool and comfortable time! Everyone was very kind and accommodating—an absolutely perfect stay. Thank you so much!

    The new Hotel had clean Rooms, and even though it was a river-side Room, the view from the Room was still amazing. The evening high tea at the dinner bar and the clubhouse sandwich were exceptionally delicious. I would love to stay at this Hotel again.

    Enjoy Your Hotel Stay

    This was our second stay since the hotel's opening last year. This time, we stayed on the Executive Floor with our family, which we thoroughly enjoyed during our previous visit. We made full use of the club lounge and pool, but unlike last time, we were informed at check-in that children under 11 could only use these facilities until 6 PM. This left us with less than an hour to enjoy them, which was disappointing. It would be great if children could also access these areas from 5 PM to 7 PM. We love this hotel and look forward to our next visit! The breakfast was delightful, offering a variety of Osaka gourmet dishes that left us satisfied and happy!

    Highly satisfied!

    We stayed as a couple and were excited about the new and clean Room and Facility, allowing us to relax comfortably! The dinner buffet was also delicious! It’s conveniently located near the station and very close to Osaka Castle, making it ideal for sightseeing. We could even see Osaka Castle from our Room, and the view was great! The staff provided excellent service as well!

    Day-use利用

    I was able to enjoy a leisurely chat with my friend using the day-use service. Although the view from the room was a bit difficult to see, I thought it would be nice during cherry blossom season. However, I paid on-site but did not receive a receipt, and it was disappointing that the flowers displayed at the front desk were wilted. They were arranged in a large vase, but only one was wilted. Even though it was such a beautiful hotel and the cookies we received were very delicious, I had to deduct one star for that reason alone. I would like to stay next time.

    The River View Room ...

    The River View Room was disturbed by the sound of trains. The pool is small but we enjoyed it with the children. Everyone at the Hotel was very nice, but the afternoon tea and cocktail time on the club floor were disappointing.

    I used the facility for a day trip. I was able to relax in a Room with a view of Osaka Castle. It had a luxurious and calm atmosphere, which helped me unwind from work fatigue. I would definitely like to use it again.

    I would like to stay again.

    I searched for a hotel with a view of Osaka Castle. I learned from reviews that the view from this hotel is the best, so I made a reservation. The staff's service was excellent, the pajamas were made of very comfortable fabric, and the amenities for the child sharing existing bedding were perfect, with pajamas made of the same fabric as the adults. Although there was no bottled mineral water in the room, water and ice were available on each floor, which we used to chill our beer. The view from the room was also great, and my older son said, "I want to stay here again." This is a hotel I want to stay at again when I visit Osaka! Thank you very much!

    Changes in the Club Lounge

    We were able to have a great time with our two children again. Thank you very much. Below is some information that may be helpful for those planning to stay with children in the future. The lounge use for children's cocktail time is limited to one hour from 5:00 to 6:00. It can be quite hectic. Since the cocktail time itself is short at the Hotel, it gets crowded even after 5:00, and the variety and quantity of food become limited, turning the lounge into a situation where new plates are quickly taken, leaving nothing by the time the children get to them. As a request to the Hotel, we would appreciate it if you could consider offering a paid children's lunch option in the lounge. We have experienced such a service at other Properties. Nevertheless, our children enjoyed the pool and breakfast at your Hotel this time as well, and they were grateful for the kindness of the staff. Thank you very much.

    Stylish in a beautiful space.

    The indoor pool was very stylish and enjoyable. Since it is small, I thought it would be nice if reservations could be made by phone just before use, with a limit of 2 to 3 groups for 40 minutes. The breakfast had a wide variety, and it was fun to choose what I liked. Many of the staff are from abroad, but they were all kind, which made me feel at ease.

    We chose the Osaka Castle side, and it was better than expected. While it's nice to look up at Osaka Castle usually, the view from the 14th floor is also perfect. Additionally, the foreign housekeeping staff greeted us with a proper smile as they passed by, which was pleasant.

    I believe that being able to use the lounge makes up the majority of the enjoyment of staying. The content of the lounge in reviews and stay records shortly after opening made me want to stay immediately! However, recently, there have been many disappointing reviews about the lounge... As expected, both afternoon tea and cocktail time had significantly fewer items. It was disappointing. Nowadays, many people share their experiences on YouTube and blogs, so I felt it was a negative that the number of items decreased so much in just a few months. The room initially prepared at check-in seemed to be on the 19th floor. However, due to the strong lingering scent from the previous guest, we were offered a room on the 17th floor, which could be prepared sooner. It was nice to be guided early, but when looking outside from the room we were moved to, there was a wall on the left side, making the view feel like it was only half. I was very happy with the offer of a late checkout, but I wish I had been informed earlier that an additional two hours of parking fees would be charged on departure. (I paid 5000 yen) I was very pleased to be guided to the room early. I was able to stay for a long and relaxing time. The housekeepers, how long are they cleaning? It's already night. Every time I saw them, they were fiddling with their phones or chatting, and the cleaning carts were in the hallway until night. I thought they were too relaxed. Breakfast was very good. There were both Japanese and Western options, and I was full.

    I was able to experience satisfaction beyond expectations by using the day-use service at DoubleTree by Hilton Osaka Castle. From the moment I stepped into the Hotel, I was soothed by the warm hospitality and sophisticated interior. During check-in, the staff's response was very courteous, and I was smoothly guided. The famous DoubleTree welcome cookie was also provided, allowing me to take a moment of relaxation with its deliciousness. The Room was spacious, featuring modern interiors, providing a space to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the pillows and linens were of high quality and clean, making it very comfortable. The Facility was also very well-equipped, with free Wi-Fi, charging ports, and a working desk, making it ideal for remote work. The location near Osaka Castle is also excellent, making it very convenient for a stroll during breaks from work. Throughout, detailed service and a comfortable space were provided, allowing me to spend a refreshing time both physically and mentally.

    I stayed on the club floor with a friend. The drinks and meals in the club lounge have a simple menu and not a wide variety, but they were enough to fill us up. Breakfast is only available in the restaurant, not the lounge. The menu was abundant and very delicious!     I was surprised that...

    I was surprised that even though it's a hotel above TV Osaka, TV Osaka doesn't come in. Overall, the TV antenna situation was poor, and there were channels that didn't come in. I used the club lounge, but I think the number of items was reduced compared to the pre-reviews on YouTube and other sources. That was a bit disappointing, but I was able to relax, and the service and view were good, so I was satisfied. I also enjoyed the buffet-style breakfast. I would be even happier if there were amenities like lotion.
