  It was a wonderful Ryokan, with outstanding architecture and Rooms. The Japanese-modern space, where different materials blend beautifully, was truly impressive. Walking barefoot indoors let us experience the feeling of staying in a traditional house with all five senses. Both the meals and the hospitality were excellent. In the morning, we were able to relax and fully enjoy the private family bath. The location was also great, making it easy to enjoy visiting multiple hot springs smoothly.

  Celebrating My Wife’s Birthday

  We stayed here to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The historic wooden exterior has the charming atmosphere that Kinosaki Onsen is known for, creating a wonderful ambiance. Once inside, however, the entrance is modern and refined, with an exceptional sense of cleanliness. From the moment we arrived, our excitement for the stay grew. We stayed in Room 207 facing Yanagi Street, and the willow-lined view from the veranda was beautiful both day and night. The room was spacious and spotless, and we were comfortable throughout our stay. There are three small private baths in the Accommodation. The baths themselves are fairly simple, but our Plan included access to all of Kinosaki Onsen’s public bathhouses, so we thoroughly enjoyed visiting them. Among them, “Goshono-yu” was our favorite. For dinner we had shabu-shabu. The meat served was so generous that we wondered if we could finish it all. I have a big appetite, but even I felt fully satisfied—most guests will definitely leave feeling full. And of course, it tasted amazing! All staff were courteous and attentive, and we were very satisfied with everything—from the room to the service to the food. This time we enjoyed Kinosaki in summer, but next time we’d love to visit in winter to experience its seasonal scenery and cuisine as well. A Ryokan I can confidently recommend!

The willow-lined street you viewed from Room 207 is almost unchanged from the scenery my grandfather looked out on about 100 years ago. Even as times change, that view remains the same and continues to convey the unique charm of Kinosaki. Thank you as well for your kind words about our interior setting, meals, and staff.   It was a wonderful accommodation!

  It was my first time visiting Kinosaki Onsen. The location, the crab dinner, the stylish Accommodation, and the three private baths were all excellent. Personally, I especially liked the towel warmer and the fluffy bedding. I ate plenty of crab. I’d love to stay again.

  I had a pleasant stay.

  It was my first time using this accommodation. I stayed for one night with breakfast included, and the breakfast was very delicious. I had a comfortable stay and would love to use this accommodation again.

  Shower booth only

  Even if the room doesn't have an Onsen, going outside to soak like in a public bath has a retro Showa charm. However, at this accommodation price, not having even a shower booth in the room makes it unlikely for me to stay here again.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. However, please understand that our building is a registered tangible cultural property, and due to its structure, it is difficult to install bathrooms in the rooms. Instead, we hope you can enjoy Kinosaki's unique onsen culture through the "Sotoyu Meguri" (public bath hopping) tradition that has continued since the Edo period.   Cold wave

  There is no shower or bath in the Room, and although there is a shared bath, it closes at 11 PM, which is unacceptable. The Room amenities are inconsistent, and despite the high accommodation cost, it was disappointing. The crab dishes were delicious.

  Thank you very much for visiting us from afar despite the cold wave. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused regarding the closing time of the bath. Unlike the public bath, the private baths are designed with locks, and to prevent any potential accidents (such as risks from intoxication or health issues), their use is limited to 11:00 PM when staff are on duty. On the day of your visit, we tried to accommodate as flexibly as possible by extending the usage time by 30 minutes to an hour due to the cold wave, but we regret that it did not meet your satisfaction. The usage time for the indoor baths is also noted on the Reservation page, but we will work to make this information more noticeable in the future. Additionally, thank you for your valuable feedback regarding the amenities. Due to the Plastic Reduction Act, we have discontinued providing amenities in guest rooms, and therefore, we handed out women's amenities at check-in on this occasion. All other items, including those for men, are available at the front desk. We apologize for the insufficient guidance in this regard. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the crab dishes.
