As expected, it truly lived up to the Mitsui Urban Premier name.

It had been a while since I last stayed at this brand’s Hotel, and I was satisfied. First, the location: it is convenient, yet not in a noisy area. The Room size, Facility features and amenities, and the staff’s service were all excellent. Check-in was smooth, and the hospitality—such as welcome drinks—was also great. The price was appropriate, and I feel I received an experience well worth it.

We were able to relax and fully enjoy our stay, even with a baby!

This was our first trip with our 8-month-old son, and after contacting the Hotel in advance, they had a baby crib set up in the Room, so both adults and our child could sleep peacefully. When bathing our child, they also brought us a bath chair, which made it easy and convenient. The adults were able to refresh in the large public bath as well! As it is a new Hotel, the Facility is clean and comfortable. The staff’s service was courteous, and we would love to stay again!

It is a good Hotel, as expected from a Mitsui Fudosan group Hotel.

The central wall in the large public bath was designed to prevent others from seeing your face, which was a nice idea. Being able to turn all the lights in the room ON and OFF at once is rare outside of luxury hotels, but it was convenient. The shoehorn was a bit short. The bed and futon were comfortable. Below are some points that could be improved: The air purifier had no water in it and showed a red blinking light—was this left for guests to handle? For the second night, I had to request water and towels; otherwise, they wouldn’t be hung on the doorknob as informed by the front desk. This is an unusual policy. During breakfast, there was no menu card for main dishes on my table in the assigned area—I only noticed after getting most of my food. It might help if staff explained this upon entry. It was disappointing that there were only sweet udon noodles as part of Japanese cuisine options; those who prefer Japanese meals might opt for No Meals Included instead. Staff greetings were quiet, and their demeanor didn’t reflect what I expected from Mitsui standards. However, I think I'll stay again next time—not because of the room but due to an excellent nearby izakaya and its convenient location near business partners on the Tozai Line!

The service was kind and good, but the Room's interior was disappointing for the price. Especially, the makeup area was dark, the table was narrow, and the mirror was small, which made it difficult for three people.

    Thank you very much.

Since its opening last year, I have already stayed here four times. The hotel is very clean, and there is an Onsen in the basement. In front of the hotel is the Kyoto Cultural Museum, and nearby is Inoda Coffee, making it a great accommodation to fully enjoy Kyoto. Thank you for your thoughtful gesture during my birthday month. The staff are also very kind. I look forward to staying here again.

The breakfast was delicious. The Room door did not close properly. Every time we went in and out, the door didn't close properly. We had to push the door handle ourselves to close it. Other than that, we had a comfortable stay. Thank you very much.

A bit of a criticism, but

Through prior arrangements, we were able to enjoy a memorable time with a message on an original display for a birthday and the selection of champagne for the Room. However, the staff seemed too young, and while it may not be noticeable to foreign guests, the traditional Japanese hospitality was lacking. It felt as though there was no manager to oversee and manage this aspect. Despite the convenient and excellent location, we were slightly disappointed that it did not live up to the premier standards of the traditional Mitsui Garden Hotel Premier Facility.

    Hmm...

Stayed for 2 nights. Currently, there are many foreigners, and various customs are different, so I think it is difficult for the Hotel, but I couldn't enjoy breakfast comfortably because some people blew their noses and left the tissues spread out on the table, or started putting on makeup while standing. Since it was Kyoto, I thought it would have been nice to be able to choose a mix of Japanese and Western breakfast instead of completely Western. To be honest, I was more satisfied with breakfast in Shijo or Sanjo. Kyoto is a city of tourism, but I think it's a problem to cater too much to foreigners. It's very disappointing that I wasn't made to want to stay again.

    Wonderful Hotel!

This was my first time using the Hotel for a business trip. It was very clean and sophisticated, and although the cost slightly exceeded the company budget, I paid the difference myself and was very satisfied. The Room was spacious, and the toilet and bathroom were sleek and modern. Since everything was new, the front desk, restaurant, large public bath, and gym were all excellent. I was impressed that the large public bath had bath towels available, so I didn't have to bring one from the Room! I usually don't have breakfast at the Hotel restaurant during business trips, but since it was a semi-buffet where you could choose one main dish and it looked delicious, I had breakfast and was very satisfied. I definitely want to stay again next time. Thank you very much.

    Thank you very much.

It was a luxurious time. We were able to rent a private open-air bath with a specified time, allowing us to relax leisurely. However, the breakfast seemed to be catered towards international guests, with many unfamiliar items, and I could hardly eat anything other than the fruits. I would have been happy if there were Japanese or Kyoto-style dishes available. Also, there was a mysterious gap about two fingers wide in the middle of the bed in the room, which couldn't be closed, and it bothered me. Despite these concerns, overall, it was a happy time.

    New and clean

The place was very beautiful and clean as it was newly built. The eco-friendly concept is good, but there were some missing items here and there, and I felt very inconvenienced by the lack of towels or paper to dry hands in the room. It seemed to be aimed at foreigners, and the breakfast was not very tasty for my husband and me. I think there were many good points, but I will not be repeating my stay.

Large public bath and washing machine

I am a woman in my 50s. I ended up staying alone unexpectedly. The facility was newly built, so everything inside was clean. The front desk staff guided me to my room and kindly explained how to check the Wi-Fi password on the TV. What I liked: The large public bath had a cave-like design, with partitions between each shower so you couldn't see the person next to you. It was comfortable without worrying about water splashing. Also, there were bath towels available in the changing area. The hairdryer was a ReFa. There was a washing machine in the room, which was helpful as I could do laundry whenever I wanted. In other hotels, it's often crowded at night, and you have to wait in line until late. As a suggestion, it would be nice to have face towels available in the changing area for drying hair. I will use this hotel again.
