    It was perfect.

First of all, the location was excellent, close to the teahouse district. It was also just a short distance from other spots such as Omicho Market, making sightseeing very easy. The Room had everything we needed, and having an Onsen with a stone bath made it perfect. Breakfast was a very delicious Japanese set meal. The staff were kind and attentive. Free drinks, plus complimentary laundry and parking, made it exceptionally well equipped in every way. This is an Accommodation I would gladly stay at again when visiting Kanazawa.

Comfortable and high-quality environment. A wonderful accommodation for adults that you'll want to visit again.

This was a wonderful accommodation that provided comfort and peace of mind in every aspect, including the room, meals, and service. The owner's excellent taste was evident in the facilities, furnishings, and even the smallest details like utensils. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, making for an exceptionally pleasant stay. The amenities and decor were well-balanced—neither excessive nor lacking—showing careful consideration in their preparation. It is a place I hope will continue to thrive for years to come. Above all, the staff member who assisted us (perhaps the owner's wife?) was incredibly kind and helpful. As we were looking for antique Imari ware or Kutani porcelain in Kanazawa, she went out of her way to research and provide us with detailed information, which we greatly appreciated. Breakfast was also outstanding; it featured beautifully presented dishes on Kanazawa-style tableware with exceptional hospitality. The tofu prepared from the night before was particularly delicious. In an era where some accommodations focus solely on appearances while lacking genuine service quality, this is a refined accommodation designed for adults seeking a high-quality space to relax. Although it is small in scale and does not offer dinner service, I hope it will be cherished by those who understand its unique charm so that it may continue for many years to come. We would love to visit again someday! (Since there was no dinner service at this accommodation, we enjoyed an excellent meal at Kanazawa Gyokusentei about 5 minutes away by taxi.)

    It was the best accommodation.

If you visit Kanazawa, this is an accommodation you'd want to stay at again. I also want to try staying at other accommodations in the same group! The room bath is an onsen, spacious enough for two people. The hand soap and shampoo are Aesop, which was exciting! The amenities like lotion were also very satisfying. The room had plenty of space with a comfortable sofa to relax and unwind from travel fatigue, plus a smart TV which was a nice touch. Drinks in the room were well-stocked, and the first-floor front desk offered an even more extensive selection including alcohol. It’s about 10 minutes by taxi from Kanazawa Station, and within a 10-minute walk to Higashi Chaya District and Omicho Market. All the staff at the accommodation were wonderful. Their pleasant communication and thoughtful care made it very relaxing. We chose a plan without breakfast or dinner since we usually skip breakfast and enjoy eating out for dinner until we're full—this flexibility was another appealing point. My foreign husband was also very satisfied with the design that allowed him to feel Japan while being harmoniously modern and beautiful. I’m quite particular when choosing accommodations, but I was truly satisfied here. Thank you so much!

Enjoy both the charm of a traditional Japanese house and modern Japanese style for a truly satisfying experience!

Park the car in the building's parking lot. Outside, the snow is heavy, but it's a relief to step out of the car without worrying about it. With an umbrella in hand, walk to the entrance on the traditional house side. As you open the large doors and proceed, it feels as if you've stepped into an ancient world beyond time. Check-in at the lounge and head to the accommodation wing. Guided to the Room, the moment you step in, you might feel the scent of wood wafting through the air—a new, modern Japanese-style ambiance. The high ceilings, the kotatsu, and slightly elevated chairs create a relaxing atmosphere, allowing you to fully experience winter in Kanazawa. The Room's furnishings are well-designed, and even the amenities in the washroom have a charming touch, bringing peace to your heart. Taking a bath right away, there's plenty of space to stretch out your arms and legs, and the water feels gentle on your skin. Feeling completely refreshed, you can't help but mutter, "I'm so glad I came!" After the bath, head to the lounge to relax. Enjoying local sake or wine, followed by ice cream to cool your warmed body, is simply the best! Satisfied, you drift off to sleep. The comfortable bed provides a cozy rest, allowing for a deep and restful sleep. As a result, you wake up feeling unusually refreshed. This leads to the breakfast venue, "Dining Ki." The traditional house's atmosphere, along with the lighting and tables, brings a sense of calm. In such a setting, the breakfast—featuring freshly cooked rice, heartfelt dishes, and beautifully crafted tableware—is a feast for both the eyes and the stomach, leaving you completely satisfied. You can't help but go for seconds of the delicious rice, ending up eating a bit too much. However, your heart feels light, and you leave the Property with plans to return in a different season.

    Couple's Trip

The Onsen is also free-flowing, and the amenities are plentiful. The Room even has a kotatsu, allowing for a truly relaxing stay. The staff were kind, and we are talking about wanting to visit again with my husband!

Discover the best Hotel in Kanazawa

It was a hotel where you could stay as if you were living in a luxurious tatami room with a Japanese modern style. [Room & Amenities] The room was so comfortable that I wanted to stay longer, with a low bed that allows for a good night's sleep, a Re-fa hairdryer, a body towel that makes it easy to wash your body, amenities centered around Aesop, and soft gauze pajamas. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was the best! [Onsen] I was able to enjoy the hot water of Kazan Onsen, which has a smooth texture, in the room and thoroughly relieve my daily fatigue. The stone bath, instead of wood, was reassuring in terms of hygiene. [Breakfast] The meal was truly wonderful, with local vegetable dishes, Hokuriku fish, handmade tofu, rolled omelet, simmered dishes, and more, not to mention the variety and types, but also the umami of the dashi. (I am full of gratitude for the allergy-friendly options.) The rice cooked in a clay pot was the best! [Free Drinks in the Lobby and Room] Every day, local Japanese sweets and drinks were replenished in the refrigerator in the room, which was very helpful after a bath or as a companion for sightseeing. I enjoyed Kanazawa wine & local sake and Haagen-Dazs in the lobby every night! [Hospitality] The staff's unobtrusive hospitality was pleasant. They cleaned the room beautifully every day, allowing for a comfortable stay in a clean room. It was convenient being close to Higashi Chaya District and Oyama Shrine. Also, since Kanazawa is close to Toyama Prefecture, I was able to enjoy it as a base for sightseeing in Toyama as well as Kanazawa. It was a wonderful hotel that I would love to visit again during my next Hokuriku sightseeing trip.
