    They were kind.

    In the morning, we took the ferry from Aka Island. After doing SUP in the morning, we stopped by to leave our luggage. There was still time before check-in, but they kindly let us change clothes in our Room. We enjoyed riding a bike in the afternoon. It was great. We were looking forward to dinner at the Hotel, but we were informed a week in advance that it wouldn’t be available. I wish we had known that when making the Reservation.

    The staff are kind a...

    The staff are kind and helpful. The Hotel is clean. Breakfast is delicious. Dinner is not served, but there are several izakayas and other options near the Hotel, so you can enjoy a traditional seaside atmosphere. If the weather is clear, you can fully enjoy the Zamami Blue sea, but your impression may depend on how well you spend your time when the weather isn’t good.

    The hospitality was on par with a 5-star Hotel in Tokyo!

    Every time we plan a trip to Okinawa, my wife and I talk about how beautiful the remote islands are with their stunning seas, but we’ve always been concerned about the inconvenience and lower standards of hotels on these islands. This time, we visited with mixed feelings of hope and worry, but as the day approached, our concerns disappeared. Before our stay, we received short messages arranging dinner reservations for three nights during the busy Obon season, a rental car reservation, ferry operation updates, and more thoughtful assistance than we could have imagined. The highlight was their response to my wife's gluten allergy. We were ready to settle for Japanese-style breakfasts only when they suggested they might be able to prepare rice flour bread! To our surprise and delight, each morning we enjoyed gluten-free bread as part of our breakfast. While experiencing nature often requires some compromise in comfort, this Hotel became an oasis for us during an unforgettable 3-night stay. We usually prefer trying new places rather than revisiting ones we've stayed at before—but this is one place we'd definitely return to without hesitation. Lastly—and this is just one small thing—we wished the Room was slightly larger; however, even that pales in comparison to the exceptional "hospitality" provided here!

    During the off-seaso...

    During the off-season, it would have been more reassuring to know earlier that dinner at the Hotel restaurant was unavailable (though the Hotel staff provided support to manage). The room layout had some minor issues, but all necessary amenities were provided. There were some troubles with YouTube viewing, but considering it's an island, it was understandable. The quality of breakfast on the first and second days was surprisingly different (especially the scrambled eggs on the second day could use improvement!). The Hotel itself is new and comfortable.

    Great satisfaction

    The staff were kind, and the room was clean and comfortable. I definitely want to stay at this property again when I visit Zamami.

    Just like a business hotel

    Shocked by the small size of the room for the accommodation fee! Except for the bathroom, it felt like a business hotel. I wish the room content matched the accommodation fee.
