It was the perfect day trip close to Tokyo.

I was looking for a private-feeling Onsen Accommodation that I could visit on a day trip during Golden Week, and it exceeded my expectations with its luxurious atmosphere—I had a wonderful time. Since I was there, I also stayed for dinner, and it was surprisingly outstanding. I’d love to visit again.

    Because the Reviews were positive...

I found this Onsen by searching for one close to Tokyo. The Reviews were all so good that I came with my 17-year-old grandchild with high expectations. Since it’s close to Tokyo… I was thinking, “We might come again,” right up until we finished dinner. However… breakfast. Honestly, there were very few side dishes. The multigrain rice porridge smelled bad and was inedible. I wish they had said, “We also have white rice available.” I had to ask for white rice myself… Also, why were there nuts and dried fruit in a small bowl placed in the middle of the table? If anything, I would have preferred fresh fruit.

The Onsen is amazing, but the meals are...

This was my second stay, and the Onsen was excellent. The meals did not change from month to month, so I understood that this is how it is here. However, I truly appreciate that you generously prepared and arranged many of my girlfriend’s favorite items on both visits. Next time, I would like to try the afternoon tea, so I would appreciate your help in adjusting the schedule. Thank you.

The Onsen, lunch, and service were all excellent.

This was my first time staying here. Thank you for accommodating my companion’s dietary preferences by adjusting the lunch menu. The Onsen, lunch, and service were all excellent. I’ll be back again. This time I visited for day use, but next time I’d like to stay overnight.

    A Relaxed and Luxurious Getaway

A 45-minute drive from the city center brings you to this luxurious retreat. Enjoy spacious rooms and a large open-air Onsen bath. Each room is equipped with a record player, allowing you to relax while listening to music. The fluffy futons provide exceptional comfort for a perfect stay. Arrive early to take a stroll to Showa Kinen Park before dinner. Dinner features exquisite Japanese cuisine prepared by chefs trained at Kitcho, served at the restaurant's counter where you can watch their craftsmanship. Every dish, beautifully presented on stunning tableware crafted by Chef Ishii, was absolutely delicious. Breakfast offers healthy Japanese dishes served in a separate banquet room overlooking the garden for a serene start to your day. We look forward to visiting again soon!

    I was able to relax.

I apologize for the delay in writing my impressions. This property had caught my attention for a while, and I finally managed to visit it the other day. From the impressive gate in the photos, I thought it was located a bit further away. What surprised me upon arrival was its location right in the middle of the city, very close to the station. However, once inside the facility, it had a calm atmosphere that made me feel as if I were at an onsen stay somewhere. After leisurely enjoying tea at the tea room, we moved to the dining room. We were guided to a counter seat with a dazzling white wood surface, which I heard was quite a challenge to bring in due to its size. The meal, starting with Taiza crab, paired with a selection of wines and sake, was nothing short of spectacular. I enjoyed a delightful time while hearing about collaborations with a certain hotel in Tachikawa and the connections among the chefs. The rare ingredients and drinks seemed to be the result of everyone's personal connections. Normally, around this time of year, I often visit places like Hakone or Izu, but this truly felt like an urban auberge, just as its name suggests. I was able to spend a relaxing late autumn holiday. I would like to express my gratitude to everyone once again.
