    Good.

    I stayed here again, as I did last year. This time, I split my stay into two parts: 2 nights and then 3 nights—first on the east side, and the last 3 nights on the west side. The west side is better. I plan to stay here again next year.

    Relax in the open-air bath

    Soaking in the open-air bath while looking at Mt. Asama was incredibly relaxing and refreshing. I was also moved to see a heart-shaped mark on Mt. Asama. The freshly baked bread at dinner was delicious, so I asked for a refill, but it seemed to have been forgotten, which was disappointing. The food was tasty overall, but compared with last month the meat felt a little less tender. The dessert was also slightly underwhelming.

    White Wave

    The service is excellent.

    We stayed for two nights and three days. On the first day, we arrived after 8:00 p.m. after work, but we still made it in time for dinner, with last order at 8:30 p.m. In this area, very few Hotels have such a late last order, so we were truly grateful and happy. What’s more, they changed the menu and desserts on the second day as well, which really impressed us. Everything was delicious. When we went out, the Hotel called a taxi for us. After we told them our destination, there were discount coupons for the place in the lobby—we had already picked one up—but a male staff member at the entrance kindly asked as we got into the taxi, “Do you have your discount coupon?” We were touched by how thoughtful he was. All of the staff were so warm and welcoming. The front desk team, staff members we passed in the hallways, and housekeeping—everyone greeted us politely every morning with a smile, including international staff members. My friend was also impressed by the high level of service and thorough training. The Onsen was comfortable, and the changing area was clean as well. Since we wanted an Accommodation with an Onsen when visiting Karuizawa, this is why we chose it—and it truly helped us relax. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

    A Very Happy Stay

    I visit Karuizawa every Golden Week, and this was the nicest Hotel I have stayed at so far. The Onsen was very relaxing, I slept soundly, and breakfast was truly wonderful with excellent flavors and a great selection—making it a genuinely happy stay. The staff were kind, the Room was very clean, and the amenities were lovely. I didn’t want to check out. I definitely want to stay here again next year.

    Stay at Prince Vacation Club

    I previously stayed at Asama Prince Hotel and loved the calm Facility, the Onsen, and the restaurant, so I had been hoping to return. This time, I stayed on a Vacation Club Plan. The Onsen building was just as wonderful as before in both water quality and facilities, though it was a bit crowded since it was Saturday. This didn’t bother me last time, but while the relaxation lounge is comfortable and offers complimentary drinks for Vacation Club members only, there isn’t much else—having at least cold water available would be nice. The Room is compact, but it has been renovated and was very comfortable. Unfortunately, we had dinner outside this time, but we enjoyed a relaxed breakfast in a spot with great views. However, the buffet didn’t have any standout items and the selection felt fairly standard; with a bit more creativity, I think guests could enjoy the excellent location even more. I’d like to come back when prices are more affordable to enjoy the Onsen and dinner.

    Relax and unwind in a calm setting.

    It’s a calm and relaxing Hotel. You take a monorail to the Onsen building, but it wasn’t as far as I expected, so I’d like to visit again. The Shuttle Service bus to Karuizawa Station runs frequently, making it easy to plan outings.

    Highly recommended for guests seeking a quiet stay.

    I had been interested in this place for some time, so this was my first stay. The Room was clean, and above all, I loved the view from the Room. We also enjoyed both dinner and breakfast, and everything was delicious. While it may vary depending on the time, perhaps because many of the guests were older, we were able to relax in a calm atmosphere. Overall, I think this is a Hotel where you can enjoy a very fulfilling stay with great meals, Accommodation, and an Onsen. I also heard that you have your own golf course, so I’d like to come back someday for a plan that combines both Accommodation and golf.

    Mount Asama is beautiful.

    This was my second stay. This time, I felt the meals were excellent. Everyone at the Hotel was very kind. Unfortunately, the Onsen lounge was too lively, so I couldn’t relax. I stayed around the same time as last year, and I would like to stay again next year.

    The best experience of my life (seriously).

    I often travel and stay at many Hotels, but this Hotel was the best I have ever experienced. First, I arrived by taxi, and a bell staff member noticed me right away and smoothly guided me, saying, “Let me take your luggage. May I have the name on your Reservation?” Both the front desk and bell staff provided very courteous guidance around the Facility and to my Room, so I was able to stay comfortably without any inconvenience. I heard that every Room has a balcony, and being able to view Mt. Asama anytime from sunrise to sunset was a truly luxurious experience. The dining area for breakfast had floor-to-ceiling glass windows and felt very open. Of course, the food was also excellent. The Onsen is only a short distance away, but you can get there by monorail, which meant I didn’t have to feel cold even in winter—something I really appreciated. I was impressed in every way. I would love to visit again.

    I have stayed at var...

    I have stayed at various Prince Hotels before, but this one is undoubtedly a 5-star experience. The service was exceptionally polite, and I was able to relax while enjoying the breathtaking views. I definitely want to stay here again.

    Quintessentially Prince, for better or worse.

    Good Points: The bath was clean, the cable car was fun, and the hot spring quality was quite good. The location is quiet with a golf course view, and you can enjoy stargazing. Bad Points: As is common in Karuizawa, the humidity was high, but the bed felt extremely damp—almost as if the previous guest had slept on it while soaking wet—which made it hard to sleep. Also, considering the size of the Room, the furniture felt too large and made it feel cramped. While breakfast had a great atmosphere, its content and ingredients could be improved.

    It is a good Hotel.

    It was a holiday, so many vacation club members seemed to be here for golf. The building, though slightly old, has been beautifully renovated, and the room was very comfortable. The service and meals truly reflected the prestige of Prince. The journey to the Onsen was unique and enjoyable. The hot spring water was excellent, and the beautiful scenery was very soothing. I would love to visit again!

    I stayed for 3 night...

    I stayed for 3 nights and both the bath and breakfast were excellent. It would have been nice to have more detailed explanations about activities (such as golf) and the shuttle service. Other than that, it is a wonderful hotel. I would love to stay at this hotel again.

    Thank you.

    Tired from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, I drove here after work. On the way, after exiting the highway, I even encountered deer. The Room was very clean with a stunning view, and I was soothed by the sound of birds and greenery on the terrace. The breakfast was delicious, and I enjoyed a truly authentic Onsen bath for the first time in a while. I look forward to visiting again. Thank you very much!
