    A Hotel You'll Want to Return To

    This was my first stay. I wondered if this Hotel mainly caters to international tourists. I felt a bit uneasy because there wasn’t much information available beforehand, even when I tried to check videos (YouTube). However, once I arrived, it was a new, clean, and compact Hotel. The large public bath was not crowded, so I could relax and enjoy my time. The Room size was just right—compact—and the bed was spacious and comfortable. I wasn’t sure whether the lounge next to the front desk was open or closed, so I didn’t use it. Looking back, I think it would have been nice if I had been able to enjoy what was offered there. Since the ski resort is right in front of the Hotel, it must be very lively in winter. I don’t ski, so I hope to come again during lavender season. The front desk staff member was also an international guest and spoke very polite Japanese, which made me happy. I hope to see them again.

    The best thing of all is that the Facility is new.

    In addition to being a new Facility, the design—or rather, the concept—is excellent, making this a truly wonderful Hotel. In particular, there is a large public bath (including a sauna), which was very relaxing. However, when I asked the front desk to lend me wine glasses because I wanted to enjoy drinks in my Room, I was told that glassware cannot be loaned out. So I had no choice but to drink wine from the plastic cup provided in the bathroom for brushing teeth.

    Despite its compact size, I felt the thoughtful attention to detail.

    Compact yet fully equipped. Thoughtful attention to detail made possible by its intimate size. I felt a warmth you won’t find in a large Hotel. I was impressed by how well designed the bath area is—the atmosphere feels completely different at night and in the morning. I will definitely return. Thank you for your hospitality.

    Was it good...?

    This time, I stayed at the accommodation at a reasonable price. The food was delicious, and the room was clean. The staff were kind and provided good service. However, it was disappointing that the room was extremely cold. From the moment I entered, the room felt completely chilled. Had it not been used for several days? During this season, temperatures fluctuate between warm and cold; perhaps the heating wasn't turned on? If possible, it would have been appreciated if the room had been warmed up before my stay. Other areas besides the room were warm (hallway, dining area, entrance...).

    The front desk staff...

    The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming with a warm smile. Although they were from overseas, they explained everything very clearly in Japanese. The Room and spa were impeccably clean, stylish, and charming, with the wooden Japanese-style interior providing a soothing atmosphere. During our outing from the Hotel, it started snowing heavily, but a kind Japanese woman at the front desk immediately offered us towels, which was very thoughtful. It was also convenient to check the availability of the spa and coin laundry on the screen in our Room.

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    Although it was a bit far from the station, the Hotel had a pleasant woody scent, was clean, and the staff were cheerful and easy to talk to. I was very satisfied.

    Very good Hotel

    I stayed for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The Room was clean and well-maintained. The bath was great, and I found it very convenient to have a shelf with bath towels right in front of me after getting out of the bath! The staff were kind, warm, and welcoming with their smiles, which was truly amazing. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and everything was perfect. The omelet was outstanding, and so was the ice cream. I was impressed by how well the quality of Hokkaido's ingredients was utilized. I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

    It was beautiful.

    The Room was spacious and comfortable. The meals were very delicious, but since it was a selection menu, it would be appreciated if the menu could be made easier to understand at a glance. I would like to visit again during the ski season. Thank you very much.

    Only the Facility is clean; the meals are too disappointing, so I won't stay here again.

    I stayed with a dinner and breakfast included plan. The high review ratings for the meals and the delicious-looking photos had raised my expectations. The Japanese staff provided excellent, attentive service with a pleasant demeanor, while the foreign staff, though their Japanese was somewhat limited, left a good impression with their polite customer service. Regarding the facility, the guest room, large public bath, and sauna were new and clean. Towels were also prepared in the large public bath, which I found wonderful. However, I was extremely disappointed with the meals. The plan I booked was "[2 Meals Included] Furano Cool Breeze Buffet ~ Summer Local Gourmet Enjoyment Plan ~." For reference, here is an excerpt from the dinner description in the plan details: "Experience Furano's summer to its fullest! The 'Furano Summer Kitchen' buffet plan offers an all-you-can-eat menu for 90 minutes featuring freshly made dishes using plenty of seasonal ingredients from Furano. Enjoy freshly baked pizza topped with local vegetables, chewy pasta dishes, aromatic spiced curry options—perfect for summer! With its casual atmosphere suitable for families or group trips and spacious open space dining area—why not fully enjoy 'delicious summer' in Furano? [About Dinner] - 90-minute all-you-can-eat (buffet style) Pizza/Pasta/Curry plus many other menus utilizing local ingredients!" In reality though only two types each of pizza & pasta alongside salad/kheema curry appeared; far removed from anything resembling true buffets but rather bare-minimum catering offerings instead... Pasta sauce tasted decent yet noodles themselves felt dry/brittle; pizzas served cold whilst curries lacked flavor altogether - honestly food quality akin karaoke venues surpasses what’s offered here disappointingly enough! Breakfast next morning fared better comparatively speaking albeit evening meal seemed neglected effort-wise leaving much dissatisfaction behind overall sadly so... For anyone booking same aforementioned plans expecting proper dinners therein advised reconsidering either nearby restaurant alternatives exploring different package options instead perhaps avoiding similar letdowns encountered personally during stays prior unfortunately feeling deceived outright ultimately ruining precious travel moments irreparably hence compelled writing reviews warning others avoid repeating mistakes likewise thereafter swearing never returning future occasions indefinitely unless drastic improvements implemented immediately addressing grievances raised herein respectfully urging management rectify shortcomings ensuring fairer treatment deserving paying guests moving forward accordingly please

    It was the best Furano trip ever.

    The long-awaited Nozo Hotel! Clean, stylish, and high-sense—everything is perfect! The room wear is cute, and it made for the best trip ever! It has a foreign vibe, and I hope more hotels like this will appear!! If you're going to Furano, you must stay here! Personally, I was impressed by everything in the shop. High-sense souvenirs! Also, I wish I could have used the outdoor terrace!!

    Caution for Buffet Plan!

    For our first trip to Furano, Hokkaido, we stayed for one night as a couple with the "Furano Cool Breeze Buffet ~ Summer Local Gourmet Enjoyment Plan," which included breakfast and dinner. The hotel facilities were modern, clean, and had a luxurious feel. The large public bath was also clean, and since it was not crowded due to the season, we were able to enjoy a very comfortable bathing experience. Amenities are not provided in the guest rooms; instead, guests need to pick them up individually at the front desk. Body towels are not included in the amenities, so you may want to bring your own if needed. Regarding meals: if you choose this plan expecting what is shown in its name and photos—"Furano Cool Breeze Buffet ~ Summer Local Gourmet Enjoyment Plan"—you might be quite disappointed. We selected this plan based on words like "local gourmet," "local vegetables," "enjoyment," along with buffet photos on their website (featuring sushi and tempura) and glowing reviews from 2024. However, this time's Furano Cool Breeze Buffet only offered salad, potatoes, fried chicken, two types of pizza, two types of pasta, rice, and curry. While the food tasted good overall, it felt more like casual dining or karaoke snacks rather than high-quality cuisine. Since my husband had been looking forward to the buffet during our special trip as a couple—and we didn’t want it to become a sad memory—we ended up ordering an additional shabu-shabu set for two at their restaurant. We greatly appreciated that they accommodated our last-minute order on the day itself; however, given this experience with dinner options under this plan’s description/photo mismatch beforehand would have been helpful (we wouldn’t have chosen it otherwise). On another note—the breakfast buffet was excellent! It offered plenty of variety along with delicious flavors! In conclusion: apart from dinner disappointment rest aspects stay pleasant yet considering price range isn’t exactly budget-friendly future visitors should carefully review details before booking

    A third-rate Hotel in every aspect.

    I called with a question before my stay, and the phone was answered by a foreign staff member who only said "Hello." Normally, they should introduce themselves as "Nozo Hotel," shouldn't they? Even though it was a foreign staff member, I found this unacceptable. They couldn't speak Japanese at all and kept saying incomprehensible things, which was very frustrating. When I arrived at the accommodation, there were also many foreign staff members on-site, most of whom seemed not very proficient in Japanese. Explanations for everything were insufficient. Hiring foreign staff is fine, but please hire people who can speak proper Japanese and ensure thorough training. Additionally, there were too few parking spaces available, leaving many guests troubled. Despite this issue, there was no guidance or assistance provided from your side. Honestly speaking, this is the first time I've encountered such poor service at an accommodation. I feel like I've wasted 60,000 yen here.

    First-time accommodation.

    I thought it was a Hotel aimed at inbound guests. The number of parking spaces is too few. When I arrived, the parking lot was full, and I had to park in an unpaved lot located far away. The body soap and shampoo in the shower room did not lather well at all. I only used the breakfast service, but it was delicious with options like freshly made omelets prepared on the spot.

    Functional and stylish rooms at an unbeatable value.

    The Room is not spacious, but the arrangement of shelves makes it very functional. The design is also lovely. However, I think the price is high.

    Satisfied!

    I stayed for one night without meals. I used the family room triple, and it was spacious and comfortable. The bath was clean, and the gym was just right. The staff's response was good, and it's a Hotel I would like to use again.

    Kids' Room

    The newly opened Hotel was clean and well-maintained. There was a kids' room, which was very convenient for families with children. However, the temperature of the hot spring bath was too high for children to enter... It felt slightly too hot even for adults, which was disappointing.

    This is a hidden gem of a hotel. The food is very delicious.

    I had a very satisfying stay. First of all, perhaps because it was a family room, the room was spacious with plenty of space for luggage. The room only had a shower and no bathtub, but the stylish and clean large public bath was available and it was very pleasant. Both dinner and breakfast were buffets and were very delicious. Especially for dinner, it was great to have tempura, steak, and sushi made on the spot by the chefs. We were able to enjoy a lot of ingredients from Hokkaido. Personally, I was more satisfied than with a top-class hotel in the city center. With this quality, it's surprising that it's not more crowded, so it's a real hidden gem. All the staff were very kind. The kids' room was spacious and had plenty of toys. There were no bottled water in the room, but there were water dispensers on each floor, so it was convenient to use as much as we wanted. Although not mentioned on the website, there was a coin laundry, which was helpful. It was also nice to be able to pay with PayPay and other methods even without coins. I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit Furano. I especially recommend the plan with dinner and breakfast included.
