    It was a wonderful Accommodation. The hospitality and meals were excellent, and it was very comfortable; I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

    Discover Togakushi.

    Visited during a pilgrimage to the five shrines on the Togakushi Ancient Road. During this stay, I experienced and learned about Togakushi's history, culture, climate, and lifestyle through personal interaction and stories shared by the hostess. This accommodation is labeled as a temple lodging but feels refreshingly different in a good way, with only two groups allowed at a time. This creates an ideal balance of distance and harmony between guests and hosts. The room on the second floor where I stayed was clean, comfortable, and offered stunning views of late autumn foliage alongside snow-capped peaks of Hakuba in the Northern Alps through the window. It was truly relaxing and peaceful. Although I encountered an unexpected incident during my journey, I am deeply grateful for the support provided by the staff at this accommodation. I look forward to visiting again!

    It was truly a wonderful accommodation! The refreshing cleanliness of the living space and the perfect balance of tradition, local charm, and love for the building were exceptional. The meals were simply astonishing—so much care to make them delicious was evident in every bite, and they were genuinely delicious. I will definitely visit again!

    It was excellent.

    This accommodation only allows two reservations per day, but it is a wonderful place that we hope will remain for a long time. We were able to stay due to a last-minute cancellation and had a great experience as a couple. We will definitely visit again. It is not flashy, but you can feel the history and tradition here. The hostess's hospitality was exceptional. Thank you very much!
