    The entrances to the indoor toilet and bathroom are narrow.

    This time I reserved a Room with a separate toilet and bathroom. The bathroom is located beyond the toilet, but because the toilet door is a hinged door that swings inward, it is difficult to move from the toilet to the bathroom. This is a structural issue, but if the toilet door were a sliding door, it would create more space. Also, in an emergency, an outward-opening door makes it easier to exit from the toilet; in general, doors should open toward the wider area when moving from a narrow space. The large public bath and sauna were easy to use. Check-out at 11:00 allowed us to relax. For meals, unless the buffet line (e.g., “one-way only”) is better organized, some guests make U-turns and it becomes crowded.

    Thank you for providing such a comfortable space.

    This is just my personal impression, for reference only. The Room was spacious, clean, and very nice. There was a sofa in the Room, and the layout wasn’t quite suited for getting some work done, but it was still a very comfortable space—just slightly different from what I needed. As for the large public bath, it’s hard to describe, but some foreign guests entered without washing first and stayed in the tub in a large group for a long time, so it didn’t feel very hygienic. I left without using the tub. It was very unpleasant. It’s not the Hotel’s fault, but I chose this place because it had a large public bath, so I was very disappointed. Regarding the meals, I felt that dishes like miso soup lacked depth of flavor (the broth didn’t come through much), and that the white rice wasn’t cooked particularly well. I had been looking forward to the food as well, but it wasn’t the quality I expected, which was very disappointing.

    Overall, very good!

    I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay. I chose this place mainly for the large public bath. The bath was clean, well stocked with amenities, and very comfortable. I also appreciated the security measures, such as requiring a key card to enter the women’s bath area. Pajamas and a carry basket were provided in the Room, so it was easy to take them down to the basement bath. The Room was also clean and nice. It had a shower-only setup with no bathtub, but that didn’t bother me since there is a large public bath. Overall, the property still feels new and very well maintained. Even though it was a Multiple Night Stay, I felt it was great value and I was very satisfied. There is an AEON Mall very close by, which was convenient for quick shopping. The station is a bit of a walk. With three elevators available, I never had to deal with waiting around for one, which was a small but welcome plus.

    It has become a Hotel that feels too scary to stay in.

    I have stayed at Loisir Hotel in Okinawa several times. It was very reasonably priced, and the large public bath was excellent, so when I suddenly needed to go to Kyoto, I made a Reservation the day before. After dinner, we returned from Gion to the Hotel at around 8 or 9 p.m. My mother and I went to the large public bath in the basement. Just as we relaxed into the bath, a fire alarm sounded loudly, announcing a fire on the third floor. Everyone inside quickly got dressed and evacuated to the front desk on the first floor. There were many guests there, but not a single staff member was present. After more than 40 minutes, an announcement said it was a false alarm. Guests who were checking in or had just returned could not use the elevators, and other guests and I ended up explaining what had happened because no staff could be found. No matter what happens, at least one staff member must be at the front desk to reassure guests who are evacuating. Thinking about what could have happened if it had been a real fire is truly terrifying. Some people even asked whether employees had run away. People also said they were scared because an emergency stairwell door would not open. A Hotel that issues an evacuation announcement but has no employees or staff present is unacceptable. I am leaving this comment because I want you to take this seriously.

    Close to a movie theater and bookstore—perfect for an extended stay.

    Please let me use it as a study when I want to focus on work. A cinema and a large bookstore are also within walking distance for a change of pace. The staff were kind, and I had a comfortable stay. The bathroom lighting was just right, and the shimmering, gently rippling water created a relaxing atmosphere.

    I had a comfortable stay.

    This was my second stay at the accommodation, and I had a pleasant experience again. The room was clean and comfortable. Thank you very much. The large public bath was also very enjoyable; however, I noticed that while there were four mirrors and hair dryers in the changing area, there were only two chairs available. Some guests had to stand while drying their hair. Additionally, the chairs were quite low, making it difficult to see one's face in the mirror when seated, so many guests stood for skincare as well. Although this is not a place where one spends a long time, it was the only inconvenience I experienced during my stay. I look forward to staying here again. Thank you very much!

    Cost-effectiveness

    This time, I was able to stay at a reasonable price. I was surprised to find not only ham but also roast beef and roast pork available for breakfast. I felt the cost performance was excellent. It is a Hotel I would like to use again when visiting Kyoto.

    Close to Toji Temple, very convenient.

    The accommodation is conveniently located near AEON Mall. The staff answered questions appropriately, making the stay stress-free. I will stay here again.

    There is a sauna, but...

    This was my second stay, and I made the reservation because it has a sauna and is close to the station. Last time, I don't think I used the sauna. This time, I headed to the sauna, but the dry sauna was extremely dry to the point of being uncomfortable. It reminded me of how saunas used to be in the past. Other than the sauna, everything else is standard for a hotel of this rank. I did not have any meals during my stay.

    Relax and unwind from your journey in our spacious public bath.

    Stayed for 2 nights with friends to explore Nara and Kyoto. The Hotel is within walking distance from Kyoto Station, making it convenient. With a Multiple Night Stay, we could leave our luggage and explore at ease, and having a laundry facility was very helpful. Cleansing amenities were provided, but face wash, toner, and lotion were only available in the public bath area, which was slightly inconvenient. The Room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds. The pajamas provided were well-made and allowed us to go directly to the public bath. The elevator and public bath required card access for added security, which felt reassuring. We requested a courier service at 5 AM to attend the morning service at Toji Temple and checked out at 5:30 AM; the staff handled everything pleasantly. Overall, it’s a quiet and relaxing Hotel that I highly recommend!

    Hotel near Toji Temple

    In the morning, we enjoyed a walk to Toji Temple. It was a comfortable Hotel. The lotus flowers were in full bloom and beautiful.

    The staff provides excellent service, and the Hotel is conveniently located.

    The location is excellent, with a supermarket nearby, making it very convenient. I rated the Room "4" because part of the carpet was slightly coming up, which could cause tripping, and there was some dust under the TV. However, since the Facility is new, these were not major concerns. The Room had a view of Toji Temple and was quiet. The staff provided pleasant service, allowing for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would love to stay here again!

    I made a reservation...

    I made a reservation with excitement for the Loisir Hotel. Since it was a Sunday stay, I was able to fully enjoy my favorite bath and sauna as they were not crowded. The amenities were also plentiful and excellent. However, the breakfast had few options, and the desserts were limited... I did not feel inclined to use it again. It's disappointing despite the renewal opening.

    Good value for money.

    The evaluation considered cost-effectiveness. Although I thought the Room, changing room, and shower booths in the large public bath were generally small, considering the affordable stay, it was within an acceptable range. The entrance was clean, the check-in and check-out system was straightforward, and the free bicycle rental was a nice touch. The DHC amenities were good, but I would like the packed coffee to be replaced with something tastier. I wanted the cleaning frequency of the large public bath to be increased, so the bath received fewer stars. I would like to use it again at this price.

    Great value for money

    There is a large public bath and sauna, and an Aeon Mall right in front of the Hotel. It took less than a 10-minute walk from the Hotel to Kyoto Station. There are many reasonably priced restaurants around, making it very convenient for dining, sightseeing, and transportation. The breakfast venue was very spacious, allowing us to enjoy our meal without any crowding. The cost performance is good, so I would like to use it again. It was a great change of pace.     Beautiful new Hotel

    The hotel is conveniently located near Kyoto Station, right next to Aeon. The view from the room of Kyoto Tower and the Tofukuji area was fantastic. The room was new, very clean, and spacious. Excellent.

    The large public bath was clean and comfortable.

    The overall service is systematic, maintaining a certain distance. It may not be suitable for those seeking friendly communication, but for those who want to spend their time quietly and comfortably without interference, it offers good value for money. There are no spaces like lounges to relax outside of the Room, so it might be good for those who prefer to rest well and sleep soundly in their Room rather than enjoy a hotel stay. The breakfast includes some Kyoto-style dishes, which are flavorful and likely to satisfy tourists and younger guests. One question remains: the basket bag that others took to the bath was not found in my Room? Since there is no phone in the Room, I checked out without asking. Milk and sugar for drip coffee are available at the counter in front of the elevator, which is convenient for those who prefer black coffee. I wish they would also provide tea.

    Satisfied with the location.

    The location is close to Toji Station, and there are convenient places nearby such as Aeon, Mos Burger, KFC, and Matsuya. It's also about a 10-minute walk to Kyoto Station. You can walk to Toji and enjoy the nighttime viewing. The Stays had good service at the front desk, and I was satisfied with the large public bath and the separation of the toilet and bathroom in the guest room. However, I was dissatisfied with the Facility because it was difficult to see the TV when sitting on the bench. Also, while there was coffee for the number of people, it would be nice if there were tea and other packs available. Overall, I was satisfied.

    Good value for money.

    I stayed with No Meals Included. It seems to be a quite compact Business Hotel. There is no free lounge. Since it's a new Hotel, the lobby and interior are very clean. I stayed in a Toji View Twin Room, but the window was frosted glass on the lower half, so the view was not great. I was puzzled by the layout where you have to go through the toilet to get to the bathroom, but because of that, the arrangement of the bed and sofa felt a bit more spacious. In the Room I stayed in, it was unfortunate that the TV was installed on the wall, making it difficult to see from both the sofa and the bed. The water facilities in the Room were very comfortable, and the water pressure was excellent. I wanted to use the large public bath, but I was too tired and ended up using the bath in the Room, so I would like to use it another time. I think this Hotel is highly recommended for those who do not expect excessive service from a Business Hotel.

    Everywhere is kept clean, and I always have a comfortable stay no matter how many times I use it. Thank you very much. It's a shame that the family room is quite difficult to book. If I get the chance, I would like to use it. This time, there was something that concerned me. The staff are always cheerful and polite, which is pleasant, but during breakfast, when the café latte stopped coming out, I asked a male staff member, and he said it was finished. When checking out, we greeted with gratitude for the care we received, but both staff members, without even looking at us, said thank you while looking at the computer. I felt very disappointed. It's such a lovely hotel, but if even one person provides poor service, the evaluation drops significantly. Other staff members are smiling and provide courteous service, and I will use it again, but I feel a bit uneasy thinking I might encounter such staff again.

    Fully satisfied.

    There were reviews mentioning whether you could see the castle or not, but I couldn't see it. However, with the low price, breakfast, and large public bath included, I was very satisfied with the accommodation price. The bed-making and room cleaning were thorough, allowing me to rest comfortably. The staff were friendly and provided pleasant service, thank you. The breakfast had just the right selection, which was nice. If I could make a small request, the preserved food was delicious, but it was a bit disappointing that there were no pickles.
