    Executive Lounge

    I used the lounge because blogs and Reviews said it was excellent, but there were no hors d’oeuvres as described and the drink selection was limited. There is no tea time either, so there were no cakes at all. On top of that, items were rarely replenished; in the end, some labels remained even though nothing ever came out. It was still empty the next day. It feels like a foreign-owned hotel. Even at cocktail time, there were only small snacks such as kaki-no-tane rice crackers, chocolate chip cookies with a foreign taste, prosciutto, mini dorayaki pancakes, and okaki rice crackers. Disappointing. It was also inconvenient that there wasn’t a single mirror in the Room. Considering the price range, I think Hotel Nikko Tokyo Daiba or Hilton Tokyo Odaiba would be more satisfying.

    Not worth the price.

    I chose a Plan that includes access to the club lounge. I had been looking forward to it after seeing photos from previous guests, but both the food and drinks felt significantly downgraded and disappointing. On the plus side, there were many international guests, and it was nice that the lounge never felt overcrowded.

    The Room features an innovative design.

    I used to stay at Mercure quite often overseas, but since I travel less these days, this was my first stay in a while. The location is very convenient—just a short walk from Shimbashi Station and Uchisaiwaicho Subway Station. I believe it was originally an office building, later converted into an annex of a neighboring Hotel, and then rebranded as Mercure. Since the property is scheduled to close soon for renovations, I was grateful to be able to stay at a very reasonable rate. Perhaps because of the location and the brand, most guests were international, and many of the front desk staff were as well (they assisted me in flawless Japanese). With an interior design inspired by a “theater,” the whole place feels even more international. The Room design was also quite bold. There is a couch-like platform near the window where you can lie down and watch trains passing by (Shinkansen, Tokaido Line, Keihin-Tohoku Line, etc.). However, getting up onto it takes some effort, and opinions may differ on how practical it really is. Aside from the décor and these design choices, it felt like a slightly upscale Business Hotel. I’m looking forward to seeing what concept it will adopt after the renovation.

    A Sophisticated, Stylish Space

    I felt this Hotel offered a refined, well-designed space. The front lobby, the executive lounge (M Lounge), and the area around the bed in the Room all felt very stylish. The staff member who handled my check-in, as well as everyone working in the lounge and restaurant, were all friendly and welcoming with warm smiles. On the other hand, for the price, the Room was small, and the bathroom in particular felt more like a Business Hotel. During aperitif time in the evening lounge, there were fewer finger-food options than shown in the photos, which was disappointing. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious.

    I felt that the inte...

    I felt that the interior design of the Room and front desk was wonderful down to the smallest details, but the service in the restaurant and lounge was not very good. For example, staff did not come to take our order, and there was no smile in their service. I did not feel it was worth the accommodation cost.

    Great location, compact yet clean guest rooms

    Overall, I was satisfied. When selecting a room during the Reservation, it was unclear that some rooms of the same type had bathtubs while others did not. I was a bit surprised to find that the initially assigned Room only had a shower booth. However, when I requested a change, they kindly moved me to a room with a bathtub, which was very helpful. If this information had been clear from the start, it would have saved some trouble. The lack of a full-length mirror in the guest room was quite inconvenient. There was a large chair near the window that couldn't be repositioned; however, having a full-length mirror instead would have been more practical. It seems other guests may have tried to forcibly move this chair as there were noticeable scratches and damaged wallpaper on the wall where its backrest touched. The lounge was spacious with various types of tables and chairs suitable for different purposes (relaxation, light meals, work tasks) depending on the time of day or need. The variety in light snacks offered was excellent as well. I also appreciated how evening snacks varied slightly each day—it added an extra touch!

    Comfortable Stay

    The staff at check-in were kind and friendly, making for a pleasant start to my stay. The interior design of the Hotel and Room was charming, giving the feeling of staying abroad. I personally appreciated the standard King Bed, as I prefer larger beds. During my stay, both the restaurant and bar operated until 9 PM; it would have been nice if the bar stayed open a bit later. However, there are plenty of dining options nearby, so finding food was not an issue. For tourists, this Hotel seems ideal as a base for exploring Ginza or Nihonbashi and enjoying the dining streets under the elevated tracks from Yurakucho to Shimbashi. I would love to stay at this Hotel again if I have another opportunity!

    When we visited to drop off our luggage before check-in, the front desk staff kindly informed us that our Room would be ready earlier than expected and provided a smooth check-in time. This thoughtful gesture was greatly appreciated. The Hotel and the Room were very charming, and I was excited to stay there as I had been looking forward to it. The only downside was the bathroom. It might have been just our Room, but the bathtub drainage was really poor. While taking a shower in the bathtub, water wouldn't drain properly and kept accumulating, leaving my feet covered in soap bubbles... If this issue were fixed, I feel like my stay at the Hotel would have been even more pleasant. The location is great with many restaurants nearby, so I hope to stay here again!

    Stylish Hotel That Makes You Feel Like You're Abroad

    A Hotel with a pleasant aroma at the entrance. The early check-in was greatly appreciated, especially on such a hot day. The provided amenities were from Etramentary Herbology, which was a delightful touch. Breakfast is a half-buffet style where you can choose your main dish, and it’s freshly prepared and brought to your table while you leisurely pick other dishes from the buffet. The croissant recommended by the staff for breakfast was absolutely delicious.

    Highest Satisfaction

    The atmosphere of this Hotel is not overly formal, yet bright and perfectly suited for me. It’s unpretentious and very friendly. Sophisticated and urban, but somehow evokes a nostalgic feeling. A truly wonderful Hotel that I absolutely love!

    A hotel with a pleasant atmosphere

    I arrived slightly earlier than planned, about 20 minutes ahead of schedule, but I was kindly reassigned to a cleaned Room without any issues. My apologies for the inconvenience caused. The Facility remains as charming as ever, and I believe there are few places with such a unique atmosphere. The lighting is kept dim, and theatrical designs are incorporated throughout the Hotel—in the hallways, club lounge, and Rooms. Additionally, the lounge offers a wide selection of books related to theater, making it an enjoyable experience to browse through them if you have time. Thank you for providing such a wonderful stay that served as a great change of pace. I look forward to visiting again!

    The service was wonderful! :)

    I booked a 1-night, 2-day stay with the Lounge Plan for the first time. Although check-in was at 2 PM, I was allowed to enter a bit earlier, and there was sparkling wine service in the room, which lifted my spirits right from the start. During cocktail time in the evening, drinks were carefully prepared, and while there may not have been many food options, everything offered was of high quality, including both meals and desserts. The half-buffet breakfast allowed me to choose one egg dish, which was very delicious. I had some concerns due to less favorable reviews beforehand but found that all staff members were consistently smiling and courteous throughout my stay, making it an incredibly pleasant experience until the very end at this Hotel. Of course, there were minor issues like slightly dim lighting in the room or difficulty using the sink for makeup; however, these were easily overshadowed by everyone's warm smiles. Thank you so much! I will definitely use your services again.

    Mercure Hibiya Hotel...

    Mercure Hibiya Hotel, location, place, design, various decorations, room arrangement are all very nice. The service of the staff was also good. I hope the cuisine can be improved a little more. Thank you for everything.

    It's been a while si...

    It's been a while since my last stay. I always stay at the Mercure Hotel in Ginza and I really like it. This time, I chose the Mercure in Hibiya and it was great. Room, meals, staff service, everything is perfect. The hotel's structure, colors, design are wonderful. Thank you very much for everything.

    Wonderful Hotel

    Used for celebrating a partner's birthday. Close to Shimbashi Station. The Hotel staff are responsive and quick. Breakfast is delicious. However, the bathroom is a unit bath, and the refrigerator is small.

    A luxurious and wonderful Hotel

    I chose it because it looked stylish in the photos. Two girls for one night, and although it was a bit dark when we entered at night, the walls, lighting, and interior had a very nice atmosphere. The scent of the diffuser also gave us a mysterious feeling as if we had stepped into another world. The room is not spacious but has a stylish space; it's slightly dark when doing makeup but within an acceptable range. The French toast ordered from the half-buffet breakfast was exquisite!! I would like to stay again just to eat it.

    The location is good and convenient.

    We stayed for one night over the weekend to watch a play as a couple. The stylish Hotel made our hearts flutter. However, it was a bit inconvenient that there was no full-length mirror in the room and the light switches for the toilet and bathroom were hard to find.
