    This was my first time making a Reservation and staying at voco Osaka, and overall it was very good. Most of the service staff were foreigners, but they seemed to be well trained.

    It was an inbound-focused Hotel, just as expected.

    We were the only Japanese guests; everyone else was foreign. The lobby was small, and the restaurant and bar were not spacious either. The bar closes at 9:30 PM. Breakfast was not worth the price in terms of quality and taste. When it became inconvenient for them, the staff would say, “We’re sorry,” but they did not seem properly trained. The Room was good, as expected from an IHG brand. The shower water pressure was on the weak side. It felt like an inbound-focused Hotel with aggressive pricing. I think a Hotel that offers unacceptable service and Accommodation Fees for international guests will eventually disappear.

    Coupon Use

    This is a personal memo. I’d always thought I’d like to stay here someday, and with a coupon I was able to book at the lowest price. Overall, the decor was cute. In Marriott terms, it felt like something halfway between Aloft and Moxy. The hair dryer was a high-airflow Panasonic. Breakfast was so good I ended up eating too much. The variety of Nespresso capsules in the Room was great. The view was also nice. If I had to mention one drawback, it would be the location—though this time Utsubo Park was actually my main destination, so it was so close you could almost call it an “Utsubo Park Hotel.” It felt even closer than it looks on the map, which was a pleasant surprise. It also felt very close even walking from Dojima. Also, the bed: for a queen size it felt just right; unlike many foreign hotels where you have to climb up onto a high bed, this one felt low—almost like a low bed. The duvet seemed like synthetic fill and oddly reminded me of sleeping under a Japanese futon, which was interesting. The staff didn’t really make much eye contact. After check-in, an American/European couple who happened to be there kindly told me that the floor indicator lights up when you tap your key card—an automatic system—which helped a lot.

    Reservations made through IKYU may receive fewer benefits.

    The check-in experience was terrible and made our stay unpleasant. My husband checked in first, but we were told it wasn’t allowed without prior notice from the person who made the Reservation. Even showing the Reservation Number was not accepted. We also could not receive the IKYU benefits. We have stayed at this Hotel many times, but it was disappointing that a Reservation through IKYU was not handled smoothly. We usually book through IHG.

    A Cozy Room

    The Room had a casual vibe, but everything—from the bedside lights and chairs to the cushions and the wine cooler we borrowed—showed great taste. It felt like visiting a friend’s home, and we were able to relax. Breakfast was delicious, and the make-your-own waffle machine was fun. The bathroom was comfortable as well, but the bath chair we borrowed was too low, so I ended up using the shower while sitting on the edge of the bathtub. Please consider this. Lastly, thank you to all the staff for your kind help—my mother, who had always wanted to stay here at least once, seemed to have a wonderful time. Thank you very much.

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    This was my first one-night stay. It’s about a 5-minute walk from the Higobashi Station exit. From Shin-Osaka Station on the Shinkansen, I took the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line, but I accidentally got off at Yodoyabashi. My suitcase was heavy, so I took a taxi to the Hotel (about 1 meter). At check-in at the front desk, even though it was midwinter, I had gotten lost and flustered and ended up sweating. They noticed right away and offered me a wet towel. I really appreciated their thoughtfulness—thank you very much. The corner Room was wonderful and helped me relax after my trip. At checkout as well, the staff member had a lovely smile. They also arranged a taxi for me. This time I was attending an event and didn’t have much time, so next time I’d like to enjoy the meals and cafe too. Thank you very much.

    A repeat stay. My favorite upscale-class hotel in Osaka.

    I stayed for one night on a business trip. I stay at Hotels about 70 nights a year for business and travel. This is probably my third stay here. It’s a well-designed, comfortable international Hotel in the InterContinental group, and the price is reasonable. When I come to Osaka, I’ll stay here again from time to time.

    Had a great stay.

    The accommodation is new and very clean, with stylish and lovely rooms. Although it felt a bit small for three people, it was not an issue. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, so finding dinner was no problem. We also used the lounge, which was perfect for relaxing with a drink after dinner. Breakfast was included, and while we enjoyed it overall, some dishes were slightly too salty, so we rated our stay 4 stars. The staff were very kind and attentive. This has become one of the accommodations we'd love to stay at again when visiting Osaka. Thank you!

    It was a wonderful Hotel!

    From the Christmas decorations at the entrance, the lobby immediately sets a festive travel mood, and the check-in counter is right there as soon as you enter. The staff were very kind and had wonderful smiles. By becoming a member, I was able to extend my checkout time. The Room was spacious and comfortable. The separate pajama set was made of soft fabric and felt great to wear. Thanks to that, I had a very relaxing stay. This time I didn’t use the restaurant, so I’d definitely like to try it next time.

    It was a lovely place, but...

    The overall experience was very good, and I would like to stay here again when I visit Osaka. However, it was very disappointing that the promised registration for IHG to Earn Points was not fulfilled.

    It was comfortable.

    While not located directly in front of the station, it is close to Higobashi Station and within walking distance of Honmachi Station with a bit of a walk. There is also a convenience store across the road, making it convenient for small purchases. The staff are friendly, and the facility is modern with a comfortable bath. I thought it could be my regular accommodation when staying in Osaka.

    Had a wonderful time!

    I stay at a hotel in Osaka with him every month. This was my first time staying at this hotel, and the atmosphere from the entrance was incredibly lovely. The staff's service was also excellent. It is conveniently located near the subway. The room was very beautiful as well. The view from the 13th floor was great too. I would love to stay here again next time!

    Upon entering through the automatic doors at the building entrance, you will immediately find the hotel's check-in counter, making it very easy to navigate. It was a compact and convenient hotel. The reception staff were friendly and provided excellent service. For added security, you need to tap your room card on the elevator sensor before selecting your floor. The hotel is new, and the rooms were clean. The bathroom was spacious and relaxing. Although I arrived relatively late, 24-hour room service was available, allowing me to have a light meal, which was very helpful. Breakfast was served buffet-style with a wide variety of options. Egg dishes were prepared upon request and delivered directly to your table. Overall, I had a very satisfying experience and would consider staying here again when revisiting Osaka.

    Premium Twin, 2 Nights The room was charming, and I felt excited the moment I opened the door. The room was slightly spacious with enough space to relax and check guidebooks or maps, making it very comfortable. The bed was firm. The bathroom was stylish and easy to use. Additionally, the soundproofing ensured no noise from neighboring or upper rooms. Breakfast had a limited selection but featured delicious rice and tofu. There was also a waffle maker for self-use, adding a creative touch to the menu. Overall, this Hotel strikes an excellent balance. It excels in providing excitement, comfort, tranquility, and relaxation—key elements for any hotel experience—while avoiding unnecessary excesses that could be overwhelming. While some hotels skip daily cleaning under "eco-friendly" policies, this Hotel maintains daily cleaning while reducing plastic amenities as much as possible. Water is provided in bottles that can be refilled on the same floor—a thoughtful approach to sustainability without compromising quality. The breakfast menu stood out compared to chain hotels offering standard salads, ham, or cheese with little appeal; here it felt well-thought-out and everything tasted great. We booked both a Twin Room and King Room separately for our family but were accommodated on the same floor seamlessly. We were also introduced to IHG membership at just the right time by attentive front desk staff who provided excellent service overall. The only downsides were the overly small lobby area and difficulty operating room air conditioning (possibly due to button malfunction). I look forward to staying again in the future—thank you for your hospitality!

    Satisfied

    The check-in counter was a bit hard to find. There was no guidance from the staff, and I felt a little confused as I had questions at the beginning. Additionally, there were misunderstandings about the Diamond Member benefits, and some services were not provided. Requesting amenities felt slightly awkward as they needed to be applied for. However, the Room was comfortable and clean, allowing for a very satisfying stay. There was water provided in the Room, and having a water dispenser on the floor was also convenient. Although it is not close to downtown areas, there are convenience stores nearby, and since we traveled by car, it was an easy location to navigate from. Despite some issues, overall I am satisfied and would like to stay again. The staff who assisted us were polite and attentive—thank you very much!

    An Oasis in the Business District

    We stayed with my daughter, her husband, and two grandchildren (a total of six people) for the Expo. Although we arrived early, one Room was ready, and we were kindly allowed to check in. The Chinese female staff member was very kind and warm, which made us very happy. The Rooms were connecting Rooms, which delighted the grandchildren. The large bath allowed three of us to enjoy it together. The Hotel is located in a business district but felt like an oasis with its exceptional hospitality. All the staff members were friendly and helpful. One staff member even contacted our Room to explain a service for Diamond members that had been initially overlooked and ensured we received it properly. For breakfast, we could order egg dishes such as omelets, fried eggs, or eggs Benedict; everything else from salads to other dishes was delicious as well! The panna cotta was outstanding too. Although we didn’t use it this time, the Room service menu also seemed extensive—I’ve included some photos. Nearby are free attractions like a science museum and a large park that are perfect for families with children. There are also many appealing restaurants nearby including Italian cuisine spots, French bistros, Japanese eateries, and cozy cafes. We would love to stay here again in the future—thank you so much!

    Is it overseas in front of me...?

    The hospitality of the Hotel and the Room were wonderful. It was a Plan with breakfast included, but the behavior of the tour guests from neighboring countries during breakfast was overwhelming, leading to many moments of discomfort... I couldn't relax, and it no longer felt like staying at a wonderful Hotel. If I could be selfish, I would have liked to finish breakfast quietly at a seat in the back of the front, away from them.

    It was conveniently ...

    It was conveniently located with easy access from Umeda and close to the nearest station, and I had a comfortable stay in a quiet environment. The staff were also very helpful. One concern: there was some trash under the bed—possibly from a previous guest—such as a small snack wrapper and tissues. Since there is space underneath, it may be easy to miss during cleaning.
