    Excellent

    It was the best stay. The hospitality was better than any Hotel I have stayed at, and the staff were truly wonderful. We enjoyed hearing various stories during the Shuttle Service ride. We were completely satisfied with everything—the Room, amenities, and minibar. The view from the Room was absolutely breathtaking, and we were able to spend a truly happy day. Of course, the food was also very satisfying. The main dishes—venison and sweetfish—were incredibly delicious and made us want to come back again.

    A Special Time

    A breathtaking villa limited to one group per day. As soon as you step into the Room, you’ll have a panoramic view of Suruga Bay, with stunning scenery from both the open-air bath and the terrace—it’s truly soothing! We were blessed with great weather and could gaze up at countless stars from the terrace. It was a special time with no interruptions, and we were able to let go of our busy daily lives and enjoy the happiness of doing nothing. For dinner, we were provided with Shuttle Service by car to a creative Italian restaurant. The menu listed only the names of the ingredients—a playful touch—and it was fun imagining what would arrive. Every dish was absolutely delicious! Breakfast was served in the Room, and it even included sashimi in the morning—we were completely full. The Room refrigerator was also stocked with plenty of complimentary drinks and gelato, but we couldn’t finish them all… We also appreciated the bread souvenir! We’ve stayed at many Accommodations before, but this trip left the strongest impression. We’d love to visit again in a different season.

    Thank you very much.

    Last year we stayed at LOQUAT Nishi-Izu, and this year at WEAZER Nishi-Izu. The weather wasn’t perfect, but we were able to relax and enjoy the open, airy space and stunning views. Just like last year, the Italian dinner, Japanese breakfast, and gelato on arrival were all outstanding. Thanks to the attentive service from the staff—including Shuttle Service and in-Room dining—it was a truly luxurious stay. We’d love to visit again in a different season, and we look forward to seeing you then.

    We hesitated a bit b...

    We hesitated a bit because Nishi-Izu felt far away, but we decided to go—and it was absolutely the right choice. The meals, the staff, and the views were all outstanding. The chef’s handwritten menu descriptions, the staff’s service that anticipated our needs, and the unobstructed view—everything was exceptional. It’s rare to find an Accommodation that satisfies even our picky preferences, but we truly came to love this place. Thank you very much.

    It was a wonderful experience.

    Our family of four stayed for one night over the New Year holidays, and it was a wonderful stay that far exceeded our expectations. As it has only been two months since opening, the Accommodation was exceptionally clean and beautiful. The living room—about 50 m²—felt modern yet warm, with thoughtful attention to detail throughout. There is a wood-burning fireplace, and spending time there while playing our favorite music through the large speakers was truly special. One entire wall facing the sea is made of windows, and watching the sun set into the horizon from the living room left us speechless. The spacious terrace also offers an incredible sense of openness. The bath with sauna features modern marble design, and soaking while enjoying the outdoor view was deeply relaxing both physically and mentally. Another highlight is the long stay: check-in at 15:00 and check-out at 15:00 the next day, allowing you to unwind and fully enjoy an extraordinary getaway. Meals are arranged at a restaurant at “LOQUAT Nishiizu,” about a 15-minute drive away. The restaurant is set in a beautifully renovated traditional house with great character—completely different in atmosphere from the Accommodation—so it feels like enjoying two Hotels in one trip. It was also surprising (in a great way) that three meals are included for a one-night, two-day stay. Dinner—the Italian course—was excellent, so we chose to have even the complimentary lunch on the following day as a full course as well, and it did not disappoint. The staff were outstanding too. From arrival to departure we were assisted by one dedicated attendant who provided truly wonderful service. Everyone clearly has strong passion for energizing Nishiizu, actively taking on new initiatives such as strawberry picking exclusively for guests. This is an Accommodation I would love many people to experience.

    This was our second stay, and just like the first time, the staff were very attentive from the moment we made our Reservation. The new chef’s dishes were outstanding, and we truly enjoyed every course. Thank you very much!

    Spectacular views

    On June 18, we stayed on a clear day with stunning views. The staff were excellent, but the Italian dinner was very disappointing. My wife liked it a lot, but the sardine pasta tasted fishy to me, and the wine pairing was also underwhelming. As we are over 60, we would be very happy if there were a Japanese cuisine option.

    It was a blissful time, feeling the refreshing breeze of May.

    Thank you very much for taking such great care of us during our stay. WERZER Nishi-Izu is a wonderful place to truly escape from everyday life, with an excellent concept, breathtaking views, outstanding service, and superb cuisine. It was also impressive to see how dedicated and passionate the young staff members are about their work. It made me want to support everyone on the team. The chef’s passion for cooking is remarkable as well. The dishes are thoughtfully crafted, and we could truly feel that cuisine is an art form. Thank you for such a wonderful time. I sincerely wish all of your staff continued good health, with heartfelt gratitude.

    It’s amazing to feel like there’s no one else around!

    The location, surrounded by mountains and the sea and set a little away from nearby Toi Onsen, feels truly special. In the daytime and morning, you’ll enjoy a blue sky and deep-blue ocean; in the evening, an orange sunset, and at night, it feels like you have the starry sky and the sound of the waves all to yourselves—helping you forget city life and fully refresh both body and mind. Popular tourist spots are great too, but this stay reminded us just how wonderful a one-of-a-kind location like this can be. We already can’t wait to come back.

    Spectacular Views

    This was my first stay at WEATHER. The moment I opened the Room door, I was greeted by a breathtaking panoramic view of Suruga Bay. A wonderfully relaxing space surrounded by blue sky, sea, and greenery. You can enjoy the same scenery from the terrace and the open-air bath, and in the morning you’ll be soothed by birdsong. One thing to note: in rainy or overcast weather, satisfaction may be cut in half. Also, on cold days or when strong westerly winds blow, you can get chilled when returning to the Room from the open-air bath. On the other hand, the dining was outstanding. It was great when we previously stayed at Suguro Bettei as well, but with a new chef this time, every course delighted both palate and eyes right through to the end—and left a lasting impression. Even my wife, who usually doesn’t take photos of food, made an exception this time. It makes you want to come back each season just for the meals alone. The Japanese breakfast the next morning was also excellent. Some Ryokan line up an excessive number of dishes “just because,” but here they serve high-quality ingredients in just the right portions as in-Room dining. At checkout they even pack iced Japanese black tea and several kinds of bread as gifts—truly attentive hospitality from start to finish. Next time we may choose Suguro again, but I’m already looking forward to coming back here too.

    Comfortable even in emergencies!

    I decided to stay at this Accommodation because it is powered by on-site solar panels, a battery storage system, and a rainwater filtration system. It’s also close to the nearby beach, which is always a plus. My first concern was the meals. Dinner is served at their affiliated group restaurant, Rokuwatt. That worry disappeared immediately—I was truly impressed. They even provide Shuttle Service to pick you up before dinner. After enjoying a delicious meal, and even stopping by the bar in Rokuwatt’s “Ichinokura,” they will take you back to WEAZER Nishi-Izu—so it comes with Shuttle Service. Thanks to that, we could relax and enjoy drinks together without any stress. At check-in as well, you can enjoy tasty gelato at Rokuwatt first, then be taken to WEAZER Nishi-Izu. (We preferred having our car nearby, so they guided us and we followed.) I was so impressed I honestly wanted the whole property—it was inspiring and educational. Even though we used plenty of electricity and water, there were no power outages and no change in water pressure. It made me realize how useful this would be in an emergency as well. I hope others will also experience this combination of great nature and cutting-edge technology firsthand. There’s far too much energy and hospitality to fit into one Review—you’ll definitely understand once you stay here.

    It was the best day ever!

    I stayed for one night starting the day before my birthday, and everything was absolutely perfect!! I checked in at LOQUAT and was provided Shuttle Service to WEAZER by car. My private car was parked at LOQUAT's parking lot. At check-in, I was treated to delicious gelato and a welcome drink, including alcohol. The drive from LOQUAT to WEAZER took about 10 minutes. Since it’s located on a hill with winding mountain roads, and I’m not used to such roads, I was grateful for the Shuttle Service. I was amazed at how skillfully the staff drove. Upon arriving at WEAZER, the moment the front door was opened for me, I couldn’t help but exclaim “Wow!” The view from the Room was breathtaking…! I regret not taking a video of it now (T_T). I arrived around 4:00 PM, and the sunlight illuminated the entire Room, reflecting beautifully on the sea. For dinner, I was picked up again and taken to LOQUAT. I spent the time until dinner relaxing in the bath. The fridge was stocked with more drinks and alcohol than I could finish, and there was gelato in the freezer, which I was told I could eat as much as I wanted. Dinner took about two hours, and I enjoyed it at a leisurely pace. The presentation was stunning, and I was completely satisfied! I had informed them in advance about my allergies and food preferences, and they were very considerate, making everything delicious. Since it was my birthday, I was delighted to receive a dessert decorated with “Happy Birthday,” and many staff members congratulated me, which made me very happy! At night, the stars were incredibly beautiful, and I spent time gazing at them while soaking in the bath. For breakfast, a staff member came to set up the table 15 minutes before the scheduled time. Since I can’t eat raw fish, they kindly prepared a hot pot for shabu-shabu. The golden-eye snapper shabu-shabu was absolutely delicious! I loved being able to enjoy Western cuisine for dinner and Japanese cuisine for breakfast. Everything was so perfect and satisfying that I can’t even put it all into words! I definitely want to visit again once WEAZER2 is completed! I was so satisfied that there’s nothing in particular that bothered me, but if I had to mention something, it would be the slight scent of disinfection in the water, as the Facility uses filtered and sterilized rainwater. However, since I understood it was an off-grid Property, it didn’t bother me personally. Thank you so much for taking care of me, and I truly appreciate everything!

    Good Stays.

    The room has a sense of openness and a wonderful location. The hospitality of all the staff was excellent. The breakfast was delicious, but the dinner was disappointing. It didn't seem like a meal worth the accommodation fee. Other than that, it's perfect.

    Hospitality, a beaut...

    Hospitality, a beautifully comfortable space and view, cuisine utilizing seasonal ingredients, and various wonderful experiences were provided. We are very grateful for accommodating various requests and for the consideration given to my elderly mother. We would definitely like to stay at other properties in the series as well.     Spectacular views and cuisine

    We were blessed with good weather and enjoyed the spectacular view of the sea of West Izu from the large terrace. The meals at LOQUAT were impressive during our previous stay as well, and this time we could feel the chef's dedication to the fresh ingredients and textures of Izu. The umami of the red squid and the crisp texture of the figs were particularly outstanding. Each dish was highly creative, such as the mille-feuille style with the aroma of charred eggplant, and the staff provided detailed explanations, allowing us to fully enjoy the deliciousness of the dishes along with the paired wine. The drinks in the room's refrigerator were more abundant than any other facility, and there was also delicious gelato, making our stay very comfortable. The concept was eco-friendly, with no plastic used for toothbrushes. I expected a simple bento-style breakfast delivered to our room, but it turned out to be a wonderful meal with a message. The seasonal local fish enjoyed with egg yolk and salt was impressive, and the freshly cooked new rice was truly delicious. All the staff were kind and made us feel relaxed. I would like to visit again to heal the daily fatigue.
