    It was a wonderful time.

    Everything was outstanding—the surroundings, the Room, the meals, and the service. How do you create such a comfortable place? Relaxing while gazing at the water was wonderful, and the activities were fun as well. The staff also seemed to truly enjoy their work, and their passion and sincerity came through. I felt refreshed both physically and mentally. I’d love to visit again!

    An amazing experience

    I have experienced famous resorts and traditional ryokans, but this stay was truly more valuable than any of them. The highlight was the cuisine, which skillfully incorporated Western and Chinese elements into a Japanese base. The harmony with the beautifully designed tableware was remarkable, offering fresh surprises at every meal during our three-night stay without ever feeling repetitive. Although I was slightly worried about how to spend time by the seaside in winter, thanks to the warm hospitality of all the staff that exceeded our expectations, this trip turned out to be deeply memorable. Each staff member's passion for the accommodation is evident, creating an exceptionally comfortable space.

    The accommodation offers breathtaking ocean views and exquisite meals that soothe the soul. The warm smiles of the kind chef and the delightful conversations with the staff made our stay truly enjoyable. Although we arrived late without much prior knowledge, the sunset cruise upon arrival was stunning and unforgettable. Despite the cold weather, the staff welcomed us warmly, for which we are deeply grateful. This is a unique accommodation that goes above and beyond to delight its guests. The room was excellent, and both the food and overall experience were absolutely fantastic! We look forward to visiting again—next time for a two-night stay!

    A true retreat. The serene atmosphere, gentle drizzle, and breathtaking scenery created a tranquil experience. The meals, rich with the terroir of Mie, were initially served in small portions as requested but later adjusted to regular portions—each dish was both wholesome and beautifully presented. Engaging in wine discussions with the young sommelier was delightful and enriching. Visiting the wine shop in Ise City that they recommended added a new connection to our journey. Both the sea kayaking and cruise offered exceptional moments of quality time. We will definitely return!

    COVA provided an unforgettable experience for a mother in her 70s and her daughter in her 40s, staying before visiting Ise Jingu Shrine. The warmth of the staff and the thoughtful details made our stay truly enjoyable. The accommodation reflects the history of Kashikojima, Ago Bay, pearl farming, and a deep respect for nature. It’s perfect for those who appreciate stories behind their stay. The room faced Ago Bay with a terrace overlooking the sea. Despite slightly windy conditions that day, the serene bay and island views were captivating. Meals were crafted with care by a friendly chef using local ingredients. Vegetables and herbs from on-site gardens or nearby areas featured prominently alongside luxurious ingredients like Ise lobster and Matsusaka beef. Portions could be adjusted to suit preferences, ensuring everyone enjoyed their meal comfortably. Wine pairings included local sake options as well as non-alcoholic choices. Activities offered unique experiences such as harvesting shiitake mushrooms or bamboo shoots, interacting with silkie chickens, plant dyeing using garden materials, visiting pearl farms, and stargazing—immersing guests in nature’s wonders. Even less adventurous travelers found themselves engaged here. Harvested bamboo shoots were vacuum-packed as souvenirs—a thoughtful touch among many others during our stay. For sauna enthusiasts: enjoy wood-fired saunas with ocean views where you can cool off by diving into the sea! Swimsuits are available to borrow if needed. Conversations with owners/staff enriched understanding about local life while creating an incredibly fulfilling one-night stay filled with heartfelt hospitality at just the right distance of interaction. Located about 50 minutes from Ise City via Kintetsu Limited Express train—this is definitely worth revisiting in another season! Thank you so much!

    It was a Hotel like no other, offering an experience unlike anything I've seen or tried before.

    I was truly impressed by everything. Having stayed at numerous hotels and ryokans before, I felt this was a one-of-a-kind hotel like no other. I'm glad I had the chance to visit a hotel that will surely become one of Japan's iconic accommodations in the future. The food was incredibly delicious, with playful and creative menus that left me amazed. There were also various experiences such as saunas, bonfires, and cruising, allowing me to release what I had been holding back in daily life and refresh myself from the bottom of my heart. But what moved me the most was "the people." Everyone was genuinely warm, attentive, and had an impeccable sense of distance in their interactions. I am so happy to have discovered such a wonderful accommodation that I want my loved ones to experience as well. Thank you very much for this opportunity. I look forward to staying again!

    I enjoyed the wonderful scenery.

    The view from the Room was amazing. The calm sea, the green of the islands, and the blue sky were so soothing just to gaze at leisurely. Thanks to the delicious meals and heartfelt hospitality, it turned into an elegant weekend. I would love to visit again.

    You can experience the one-of-a-kind offerings unique to COVA KAKUDA that you won't find anywhere else. This was a wonderful Hotel where you can enjoy seasonal meals and activities. The meals featured vegetables harvested from the Facility's farm and fresh fish from the market, presented in a way that was visually delightful as well. The staff's thoughtful consideration in asking about and adjusting portion sizes was truly commendable. The chef's warm smile was charming, and we highly recommend having a chat with them. You might hear some fascinating stories that only a local would know. No regrets about visiting and staying here. Perfect for those seeking inspiration and excitement!

    I stayed with my mot...

    I stayed with my mother, and our stay at covakakuda was a wonderful memory. Above all, it was the first time I felt so close to the sea at a Stays, and I was captivated by the breathtaking view. I heard that this Property was created by renovating an old building, and I was impressed by the ingenuity. The activities were also impressive, including a tour of the pearl factory accessed by walking over Inada, an Akoya pearl care experience, and cruising, all of which were fresh and unforgettable experiences. Additionally, the innovative all-inclusive style, excluding alcohol, was enjoyable. The staff were all young, polite, and showed a commendable dedication. As a small improvement point, water was provided in a pot instead of a plastic bottle, and the sauna was charged except on the day of arrival, but I think this is a testament to the care for the environment and Facility. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay, and I would love to visit again.
