    An exquisite Japanese-Western fusion

    This is an upscale Hotel with a well-balanced mix of the refined attentiveness of Japanese-style service and the stylishness of Western-style service. The seated breakfast buffet is a great example. The view from the Room was outstanding, and we enjoyed Tokyo’s unique high-floor scenery—something you won’t find even in NYC or Paris.

    We paid for the view.

    The view was even more amazing than I imagined—especially the night scenery, which was beautiful. Looking down through the large windows made me feel a bit dizzy (in a good way). The staff’s hospitality was outstanding, and I was surprised when a staff member I met on the first floor greeted me by name. A truly top-class Hotel really does offer top-class service. Thank you very much.

    Panoramic View of Tokyo

    The view was outstanding—truly a panoramic view of Tokyo. We were also able to see Tokyo covered in snow. This time, I invited my elderly mother and sister from Okinawa to stay with me. I was a bit worried because of the location, but we were able to drive in, go from the parking area straight to the elevator, and check in smoothly. My mother has difficulty walking, so it was reassuring that she could move around easily. It is expensive for an average person, but I feel satisfied that I was able to do something nice for my family. The international staff were also very polite and professional. The Room was spacious and the amenities were excellent. I would like to stay again.

    The view is absolutely stunning.

    I stayed at this accommodation last year and had such a great experience that I decided to visit again. This time, it was for a 2-night stay. Just like last year, the scorching heat of Shinjuku greeted me, but this time I smoothly made my way from the front desk to my room on the 40th floor. The view was truly spectacular. Below, you can see the Yamanote Line and Chuo Line passing by, with the skyline extending towards Nakano. To the left, you can admire the skyscrapers of Nishi-Shinjuku. This time I stayed in a Studio King room, which offered a spacious layout and large windows that provided an incredible sense of openness. The bathroom was also spacious with a separate shower booth that added a touch of luxury. The lounge exclusively for guests had high ceilings and an amazing sense of openness as well. While daytime views were stunning, it was truly at night when they became magical—the red blinking lights on top of skyscrapers created an atmosphere perfect for quiet reflection. For breakfast on the first day, I enjoyed an in-room Japanese breakfast called OKAMOCHI with plenty of small dishes to savor. With Tokyo's intense summer heat outside, apart from stepping out briefly for lunch during my stay, I spent most of my time enjoying the breathtaking views from my room during this 2-night/3-day trip. The staff’s hospitality remained excellent until check-out. It turned out to be a wonderful summer vacation—thank you!

    The night view from the high floors is breathtaking.

    Kabukicho Tower has become a new landmark in Tokyo, and I was curious about it. I heard there is a great hotel inside, so I took the opportunity to stay there. On an extremely hot day, I finally arrived at the tower where the hotel is located but struggled to find the elevator to the reception on the upper floors. A staff member quickly noticed me and guided me, which was very helpful. After a smooth check-in process, I was shown to my room where an incredible view of all of Tokyo unfolded before me. As night fell, countless sparkling lights filled my vision—it was one of the most beautiful night views in Japan or even Tokyo. The room had a booklet about Kabukicho Tower that also touched on Kabukicho's history, which was fascinating. The curtains were motorized with remote control for convenient operation from anywhere in the room. The minibar offered alcohol (including premium Japanese sake and even CRUG), high-quality teas (both Western and Japanese), Middle Eastern snacks like nuts, and more—making it quite enjoyable. The mineral water came in glass bottles rather than plastic ones; it seemed clearer and more refreshing. The next morning’s breakfast was served in an open space with ceilings over 10 meters high—a very liberating atmosphere. Instead of a buffet as expected, it featured an à la carte menu with dishes prepared fresh upon order. Each dish was carefully crafted and delicious; even the bread had such excellent texture that I felt confident European guests who value good bread would be satisfied. The lounge for guests on higher floors also had high ceilings and offered rare alcoholic beverages at night along with well-curated books for reading—a perfect setting for relaxation. Shinjuku is vibrant and exciting but can be tiring due to its crowds; however, within this hotel’s serene environment, I could fully unwind. Although my stay lasted only one night, it left a lasting impression on me—thank you very much!

    Buy the view.

    The parking lot cannot accommodate tall vehicles like one-box cars, requiring parking at a separate location. While there is space available at the 1F entrance, it is not usable, which was disappointing. The staff's service skills were average; assigning more skilled staff based on room class might be worth considering. For a stay on the 42nd floor with four people, having a center table in the room that accommodates four seats would enhance the experience further. The shower water pressure was not strong. There was no environment suitable for desk work or makeup application, and the placement of power outlets could be improved for better usability. The design of the lounge on the 46th floor was beautiful. The windows were impeccably clean. Desserts like macarons were provided in packaged form but could not be taken to rooms; offering them unpackaged might encourage guests to follow rules more naturally. Post-checkout service was disappointing. Improving farewell hospitality could elevate this hotel into higher rankings by leaving a lasting positive impression for future stays.

    On a Wonderful Christmas Eve

    I was looking for a beautiful Hotel for Christmas Eve and immediately fell in love with the view and layout of this Room, so I decided right away. Of course, it costs quite a bit, so it's difficult for daily use, but the service from the entrance was different from an ordinary Hotel. I felt a special sense in these extraordinary things. Although it was well before 3 PM, we were immediately guided to our Room, and our luggage was brought to the Room (I feel like this used to be the norm at every Hotel). I was surprised to find it was a corner Room, and the view was amazing both day and night. My girlfriend also loved it very much, and it added a special touch to our special day. Despite being ordinary people, it felt like we were a bit more important for a day. I would love to come again if I have the chance.
