Perfect for a luxurious summer getaway

We stayed with the intention of treating ourselves to a luxury we don’t usually indulge in. From the welcome drink and the first small appetizer, everything was delicious, and we were already very satisfied. The wine was extremely easy to drink, and the non-alcoholic tea was also amazing (I wish you would sell it). The Room was spacious, and it was wonderfully quiet—we couldn’t hear anything from the rooms on either side. Having an Onsen in the Room that we could enjoy anytime was fantastic. If there’s one concern, it’s that while the food is excellent, the portions are quite large. Even our family—who usually asks for seconds multiple times—was saying, “We’re full!” There’s a generous amount from the appetizers onward, but some dishes served during the main sushi course and additional dishes after sushi may leave many guests thinking, “It’s delicious, but I’m too full!” That said, every dish is distinctive and truly delicious, so I still hope you’ll try them all!

Chef’s Choice Sushi at the Counter

The parking lot is hard to find, and no one came to greet us even after we arrived. We had to carry our luggage and walk to the entrance, and on departure we again had to carry our luggage from the entrance to the rear parking lot. I suppose it can’t be helped if they’re cutting labor costs. The Room is spacious but has steps, and there’s a red sofa you can lie down on, but it felt somehow out of place and not relaxing. On the balcony there was water (not hot water) like a footbath, and overall it felt like a design that only the designer would be satisfied with. The Onsen is black-colored and smells nice, but it isn’t free-flowing; it automatically refills only what’s been used. I gave up on expecting true free-flowing Onsen. The sushi is served omakase at the counter, but for older guests the portions are too large to finish. I’d like an option with higher-quality ingredients in smaller portions. The welcome appetizer and beer were excellent.

    Have a great holiday.

This was my first stay here. The service was excellent, and I appreciated the calm atmosphere. The Room was spacious, and it was great to be able to enjoy the Onsen in the Room. I would be happier if the complimentary drinks in the Room refrigerator were a bit more extensive. In the lounge before dinner, I enjoyed snacks and all-you-can-drink alcohol. The sushi at dinner was delicious, and I was satisfied with breakfast as well. I ordered sea bream rice, which was especially tasty. This is an Accommodation I would like to stay at again if I have the chance.

Unfortunately, I can’t say it was worth the price.

Room - Neither spacious nor cramped, but the interior feels underwhelming for the price. - The bathroom layout is awkward, and the window partition does not seal well, so water leaks into the Room and wets the daybed. Dining - Edomae-style is a plus, but the rice portions are too small and overall quantity feels lacking. - Service feels inexperienced. - Sushi should be the main focus, but not being able to properly explain the toppings is disappointing. Overall Unfortunately, I would not stay again.

We had a wonderfully relaxing trip and were very satisfied.

I made a Reservation because I wanted to enjoy delicious sushi. For dinner, I chose the local sake pairing Plan, and they served 6+1 types of sake. Each was just one small cup, but all were local Chiba sakes, and it was fun to try a variety—from sweet to dry—timed perfectly with the pace of the meal. As for the sushi, they kept bringing out one delicious item after another. Not only the nigiri, but also the appetizer, assorted small dishes, and even the soup (spiny lobster!)—everything was excellent. For breakfast, they kindly changed the rice cooked in a pot to sea bream takikomi gohan (+2,000 yen). It was incredibly tasty—I felt bad that I couldn’t finish it because there was so much. I highly recommend upgrading! The Room was very relaxing. As mentioned in other Reviews, there is a park (walking path) right in front of the property, so it was difficult to open all the blinds fully. Still, we could enjoy views of both the ocean and Mt. Fuji. The bath Onsen also left my skin feeling smooth, and I could soak at ease. The only issue for me was that the bed mattress was too soft for me to sleep well, so I slept on the daybed instead (which was comfortable). That aside, this is highly recommended for anyone who loves sushi and sake. Thank you very much.

    Local Sushi and Onsen

Overall, I had no complaints. What I liked was that the welcome drink came with appetizers, and they served draft beer—Braumeister, no less. It was so good that I searched for it online to drink at home, but it was only available for commercial use, so it felt like a rare treat. Also, the sushi-focused dinner course in the evening was very filling and left me completely satisfied. At breakfast the next morning, the grilled dried horse mackerel was wonderfully rich and delicious. What I wished had been a bit better was the size of the living room. Despite the large terrace, it felt small and slightly cramped. The bath was spacious, clean, and satisfying, but I did miss having an Onsen with a sulfur scent.

    The Best Dinner

The dinner was absolutely delicious. Even the tableware showed great attention to detail, truly reflecting the quality of a sushi restaurant. I finished everything in no time and wished I could have eaten more! I would definitely love to visit again. Thank you very much!

Lovely place, but the bathroom is disappointing.

Room with Onsen and sushi dinner was the reason for our Reservation. The free drinks in the lounge after check-in were nice, and the Room was stunning. However, the Onsen in the Room was too small. At first glance, it looked like a deep bathtub, but upon entering, it seemed to be only about 40cm deep. It was only suitable for half-body bathing. The diameter appeared to be around 100cm or 110cm at most, making it impossible to stretch out your legs comfortably. If there had been a large public bath available, we would have gone there instead—but unfortunately, there wasn’t one. We wanted an Onsen experience where we could soak up to our shoulders and stretch out our legs; this left us disappointed. This bath just didn’t meet expectations. The sushi dinner was average—filling due to appetizers rather than quality—and portions were generous overall. Breakfast had a wide variety of dishes with thoughtful preparation and tasted great. Unless they change the size of their bathtubs significantly, we probably won’t return despite other aspects being fairly good—it’s unfortunate!

    The meals are incredibly delicious.

As mentioned in the reviews, the dinner sushi portions were very generous and incredibly delicious, but it was quite a challenge for women to finish everything. The chef mentioned that this is the hotel with the largest portions in Japan, and my husband and I completely agreed. However, the ingredients were fresh, and each piece was large and excellent, leaving my husband extremely satisfied. The room was very spacious, with a park right in front of it. While we couldn't fully open the curtains as people walking by might look up and see inside, we enjoyed views of the ocean directly ahead. From our room, we could also partially see Mt. Fuji during the day and airplanes flying at night—it was wonderful! That said, there are no convenience stores nearby; only vending machines are available for drinks. The fridge had only two bottles of water per person. If you're concerned about this, I recommend buying drinks before arriving at the hotel—this is why I deducted one star from my rating. The private bath attached to our room was also excellent! Overall, both meals and accommodations were outstanding at this hotel. I would love to visit again if given another opportunity!

I had a very relaxing stay. Regarding the meal portions, it seems to be part of the establishment's philosophy, so it was not possible to request smaller portions. The food was delicious, but I couldn't finish my dinner. The Facility and amenities showed great attention to detail. However, I was disappointed that there was no full-length mirror or handheld mirror for makeup in the Room. Additionally, the lighting in the washroom was dim, making it difficult to do makeup there. A stool in the washroom would be helpful for sitting while using a hairdryer or applying makeup. Considering there are no elevators or ramps, I wouldn't say it's an entirely accessible Facility for everyone. The staff provided excellent service and the meals were outstanding; if even one of these points could be improved upon, it would make a significant difference!

A Sushi Restaurant You Can Stay At

A sushi restaurant-themed accommodation This Ryokan, located in Torii Saki Seaside Park and opened in 2022, offers a unique concept of a stay-in sushi restaurant. Dinner is exclusively sushi kaiseki. Enjoy authentic sushi and appetizers at the counter. Red vinegar sushi and seasonal appetizers—simply delicious! 【Highlights】 - Complimentary lounge with luxurious appetizer platters - Silky Onsen (Kimitsu City Kameyama Onsen) - Polite and attentive staff service - Ocean view from the property - Quiet atmosphere with only six rooms available - Breakfast includes large dried horse mackerel fillets - Seasonal ingredient-based sushi course for dinner - Flexible dinner timing (latest at 19:00) 【Concerns】 - Parking information should be added to the website; it's hard to locate. - Check-in process could be improved (standing at the reception was tiring after walking in hot weather). - Room explanation felt too long despite showing signs of fatigue. - No handwashing area in the toilet; hallway lighting too dim to find doorknobs easily. - Odd room layout (red fabric sofa in living area); TV not visible from bed. - Terrace or open-air bath faces a public park, leading to encounters with visitors. - All rooms are on the second floor but no elevator available. - Lounge hours are too short (~17:00), unclear details until visiting firsthand. - Staff uniforms lack consistency. While it seems reasonably priced, something feels slightly lacking overall...

A hidden retreat conveniently located near the metropolitan area.

I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days during the summer vacation. Living in the metropolitan area, I found it very convenient and close. When traveling by car, I usually worry about traffic jams, but being nearby made it safe and stress-free. The hotel is small but relatively new and well-maintained, allowing for a comfortable stay. Having an onsen in the room that can be used anytime was truly appreciated—I ended up soaking three times a day: morning, noon, and night! The room was spacious; however, there were unused areas that felt a bit wasteful. The meals were delicious both in the morning and evening with more than enough portions to fill me up. The sushi at dinner and tai-meshi at breakfast are highly recommended! On the first day, service was slightly slow; however, as mentioned later on, it seems there are only a few staff members available so it's understandable. Being a small hotel means fewer staff members overall; nonetheless, they provided polite service while maintaining an approachable demeanor—thank you very much! The photo shows the sunset view from my room window in the evening. On clearer days, Mount Fuji is apparently visible from here as well!

I stayed at the accommodation to visit the outlet. The room amenities were limited. It would have been more enjoyable if tea, juice, or beer were stocked in the refrigerator without needing to order. Also, I wished there were tea bags available as I wanted to enjoy warm tea. Other than that, the food was very delicious and satisfying!

A hotel with the finest seafood and relaxing Onsen!

I recently stayed for a Multiple Night Stay at Torii Saki Club Hotel & Seafood in Kimitsu City, Chiba Prefecture. The highlight was the first night's dinner—a luxurious sushi course featuring red vinegar rice topped with an abundance of fresh seafood. It was absolutely delicious! On the second night, I enjoyed a traditional Japanese kaiseki meal showcasing seafood, with unagi rice as the final dish—truly impressive! Breakfasts were equally exceptional. The first morning featured simmered golden eye snapper as the main dish, while the second morning offered dried horse mackerel and their specialty "tai-meshi" (sea bream rice). These meals deserve top marks for their quality and taste. If you have time, I highly recommend a Multiple Night Stay to fully enjoy these culinary delights. Each guest room also includes its own Onsen, which was fantastic! Onsen in Tokyo and nearby Chiba often have darker hues like "cola-colored" water. At this Hotel, the Onsen is classified as "Sodium-Chloride-Bicarbonate Hot Spring" (hypotonic alkaline low-temperature spring). While it has a darker color, it is gentle on the skin with a slightly silky texture—very pleasant! Many inland Onsens in Chiba share similar qualities; they brought back nostalgic memories of family trips from years ago. Personally, I love this type of Onsen! The Hotel itself is only three years old and features modern architecture that felt perfect for my stay. The staff provided warm hospitality with thoughtful attention to detail—I am truly grateful for their kindness. P.S.: Right next to Torii Saki Club is Nakano Island Bridge—a perfect spot for walking with stunning views! Nakano Island itself is also famous among clam diggers and worth visiting at least once!

Sushi is delicious. Due to a small team operation, customer service may feel slightly insufficient. We suggest increasing the variety of complimentary beverages in the refrigerator.

It was so good that I might become a repeat customer.

It was great as a small property to stay right in front of the sea, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The sushi was also very delicious, and the room was luxurious. The onsen bath in the room was a rare treat for the children, and they enjoyed it so much that they used it several times in one day during our stay. I liked the homey feel, including the small number of staff and rooms. The price is a bit high, but I think it's a property worth the amount. The property also showed us several autographs from celebrities, which might be one of the reasons it's a notable stay.

    Experience the resort

The location and Facility are satisfactory, but the space between the beds is narrow and inconvenient. Dinner is creative sushi, so it is recommended for those who want to try a unique sushi kaiseki meal occasionally.

I was looking for a hotel nearby where I could relax, and I found a really nice Hotel this time. The meals were also my favorite sushi kaiseki cuisine, and I was satisfied because every dish was delicious. The bath also uses natural Onsen, and it was nice that they set it to just the right temperature. It has become one of the Hotels I want to stay at again. Thank you very much.
