    I had a relaxing stay.

    We stayed as a family at the end of the year. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom, with a separate toilet and a washing area, was large, convenient, and comfortable. Amenities were basic but sufficient, and the housekeeping staff kindly accommodated various requests. The extra bed was small and might not be suitable for larger adults; however, we were satisfied with our stay. The lounge during tea time only offered snacks without cakes or light meals, which was slightly disappointing. It would be nice if cakes from cocktail time could also be served during tea time. Cocktail time was very crowded, and we had to wait a bit; however, food items were replenished properly, which left us satisfied. Breakfast did not have an extensive variety but felt adequate. Check-in was done at the front desk rather than in the lounge. Unfortunately, the staff member who assisted us had a very formal demeanor without any smile or engagement beyond delivering one-sided explanations regardless of our reactions—this aspect left much to be desired.

    Thank you always.

    This was my fourth Multiple Night Stay of three nights, and as always, thank you for providing such an enjoyable and pleasant experience. This time, I stayed from January 6th at the beginning of the month. Perhaps due to the lingering New Year holidays, the club lounge was quite crowded during the evening cocktail hour. Even so, thanks to the efficient service of your staff, I had a wonderful time. The appetizers were thoughtfully prepared to serve as a meal substitute and were delicious. I am looking forward to my next visit!

    Check-in

    The meals were of high quality, and the bed was very comfortable, making for an excellent stay. However, I hope the check-in process can be improved as it took over 30 minutes. The long queue was exhausting. Additionally, when I tried to set up the safe before going out, it didn’t work at all. When I requested assistance, I was told someone could come to the Room in 10 minutes, so I gave up using it. Regular maintenance checks on the safes would be appreciated.

    Stayed for 2 nights in a room on the 19th floor. The room was comfortable, and the view was amazing. I would love to stay again.

    Had a relaxing stay, but...

    I had a wonderful experience during my previous stay, so I was looking forward to this visit. This time, I used the Club Lounge for the first time. However, the cocktail hour was too crowded, making it difficult to find a seat and relax, so I left early. For breakfast, while I enjoyed a delicious and leisurely meal at the 3rd-floor restaurant last time, breakfast at the Club Lounge was honestly disappointing. I started breakfast at 7 AM when it wasn’t too crowded. If I stay again, I would skip using the Club Lounge. Additionally, in my Room's bathroom, the conditioner seemed hardened and wouldn’t come out when pressed; therefore, it couldn’t be used. The slippers were also very thin. The staff provided excellent service with great attention to detail. The Room was very clean and allowed me to relax comfortably. The gym was also great!

    It was a comfortable stay.

    During the busy year-end period, I was prepared for some level of crowding and service decline, including in the lounge, but my concerns were unfounded, which was great. The lounge during cocktail time was understandably crowded, so I waited a bit in my room. However, once seated, everything went smoothly. The food offered seemed sufficient for both those enjoying drinks and those having a meal. Due to dietary restrictions, I requested room service and they responded accurately to my needs; the meal was delicious. As others have mentioned about breakfast, it featured fresh vegetables and a variety of Japanese-style dishes that were well-prepared and enjoyable. The only issue with service occurred during check-in when I needed to leave quickly. I entrusted my luggage to the lounge staff with instructions to place it in my room. Upon returning later, the luggage wasn’t there. When I called to inquire about it, they asked for a claim ticket number—which hadn’t been provided when I made the request. After explaining this situation over the phone, they eventually delivered my luggage after some delay. Without this miscommunication, everything would have been perfect. Although it's slightly inconvenient that it's located away from the station and there are no nearby convenience stores or similar facilities close by, I would definitely stay here again when visiting Minato Mirai Hall. Thank you very much!

    A Hotel I Would Love to Stay at Again

    The exterior and interior had a calm atmosphere with a sense of luxury. There was a welcome drink at the front desk, and the staff's service was polite, clear, and excellent. I enjoyed the buffet dinner at the Hotel, which featured an impressive selection of sushi and desserts, all of which were delicious. Overall, it was a Hotel I would love to visit again!

    For Club Floor access purposes

    I stayed with the purpose of relaxing in the lounge on the club floor. The lounge was spacious, and the friendly service made for a pleasant time. The light meal options were mostly simple but acceptable. As it was limited to one hour, we were gently reminded when our time was up, which felt shorter than expected, leaving no time to enjoy desserts—this was a bit disappointing. For breakfast, I enjoyed freshly made omelets while taking in the beautiful view of Minato Mirai, making for a wonderful experience. Regarding the room, not only was the view exceptional as expected, but also its design, layout, and interior quality were excellent and very comfortable. The handwritten message and cookie service were delightful touches! The benefits for IKYU Diamond members added great value—I took home seasonal stollen as a lovely souvenir. Overall, it was an incredibly relaxing stay that left me highly satisfied. I would love to return again!

    A sudden model photoshoot started at the spa.

    I used the spa, but suddenly a model appeared, and a photoshoot started. The chatter from the photographer, staff, and models was quite noisy. While they might have had an enjoyable shoot, all the other guests around seemed visibly annoyed throughout. Were you aware of this? I came for a refreshing break but couldn’t relax at all—it was disappointing. If I had been informed about the photoshoot during check-in, I wouldn’t have used the facility. Alternatively, on-site staff could have communicated with guests by saying something like: "A photoshoot will be taking place shortly; we apologize for any inconvenience." There were young female staff in their 20s and male staff in their 40s present at the time, but there was no such consideration or communication. It felt like guest interaction wasn’t prioritized here—even at a class level of The Westin Hotel—which left me feeling disappointed. Other feedback: - Check-in reception service was excellent. - Restaurant service felt slightly cold; there wasn’t even a welcoming greeting (everyone seemed busy preparing for afternoon tea and avoided eye contact). - The food was delicious, and as expected, the room quality was outstanding. A skincare set would be appreciated!

    We stayed on the club floor as a group of three. Both the hotel and the room were very clean and comfortable, likely due to being new. The club lounge was well-equipped, and the food was delicious. The hospitality was also excellent. The only minor issue was that the shampoo or conditioner in the room left our hair feeling rough. Since all of us experienced this, it may not be a matter of individual hair type. Female guests might consider bringing their own conditioner just in case. However, everything else was so wonderful that it didn’t bother us at all, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would love to visit again if we have another opportunity to stay in Yokohama!

    It was a very comfortable stay!

    I stayed here to celebrate my father's birthday, and the Room was clean and very comfortable! The meals were also delicious. Thank you for the special birthday hospitality. I would love to visit again.

    The club lounge is excellent.

    I chose a Plan that included access to the Club Lounge because my wife loves lounges. It was the best lounge experience we've had among all the Hotels we've visited. The coffee even had decaf options, showing great consideration for guests. Although it was November, we could see fireworks from the Club Lounge. The evening snacks were diverse and enjoyable. From our Room, we could see Mount Fuji alongside a beautiful sunset, which was amazing. However, I wished there was a microwave somewhere in the Hotel and bath salts or bath additives in the bathroom. I used the walking machine at the fitness center and enjoyed virtual imagery that made me feel like I was walking through countryside roads in places like Portugal or Sicily. Unrelated to this Plan, we also used the spa on our way back, which provided an excellent and relaxing experience. Since it was close to my wife's birthday, she received bath salts as a gift—thank you very much for this thoughtful gesture! The service quality impressed us so much that I'm considering becoming a Bonvoy member!

    I have used IKYU several times, but this is my first Review. I had made a request in advance, but at check-in, I was told it wasn't ready yet and had to wait 20 minutes. After going to the Room, it turned out that the request still hadn't been prepared... what was the waiting time for? I had plans to go out after check-in but ended up rushing to get ready. Additionally, there was no explanation about the breakfast venue during check-in; tickets that were initially said to be unusable turned out to be valid; and even a pre-requested item came with the wrong gender specification...

    The Hotel was not convenient for Japanese guests.

    There was no queue system at check-in, and I was cut in line by a foreign guest who arrived later. Despite noticing that I had been waiting, the male front desk staff prioritized the foreign guest who interrupted. The room was far from perfect: - Something like popcorn kernels was on the floor (I noticed it immediately upon entering). - The conditioner had run out. - There was no electric kettle provided. Regarding the conditioner, I realized it during my bath and ended up waiting about 10 minutes in the bathroom. As for the electric kettle, after confirming its location with the front desk and searching without success, one was eventually brought to me by housekeeping staff. However, they explained its supposed location again as if implying I hadn't searched properly and only gave a light apology when told it wasn't there. When I called to express my dissatisfaction to the front desk, they said they would check with their manager. The person who then answered was a foreign staff member who could barely speak Japanese. Having stayed at numerous accommodations before, this hotel’s service and facilities were by far the worst I've ever experienced. It felt as though Japanese guests were being disrespected; I will never stay here again nor recommend this accommodation to anyone considering it.

    Unfortunately, the service was disappointing.

    I had an amazing experience staying at The Westin in Ebisu for my friend's 30th birthday, so I decided to return 10 years later to celebrate the same friend's 40th birthday. However, this time was quite disappointing. Despite informing the staff in advance that it was my friend's birthday, there were no greetings or gestures such as a card in the room. (Ten years ago in Ebisu, everyone from reception to concierge warmly wished my friend a happy birthday.) Having made the reservation well in advance and looking forward to it, I felt truly let down. My friend kindly said not to worry about it, but they had been excited about returning to The Westin after a decade and must have felt disappointed too. Additionally, although the remote control in our room had a Netflix button, we couldn’t access Netflix. We tried connecting a Fire Stick but couldn’t get internet access. An engineer came to assist us but couldn’t resolve the issue due to unknown reasons. When I requested amenities like a ladies' set and an extension cord, it took around 30 minutes for them to arrive. On top of that, they forgot the extension cord initially and made me wait another 10 minutes. I wanted to change into loungewear and relax quickly but ended up feeling tired from all the waiting. The lounge's light meal selection was also much more limited compared to Ebisu’s offerings and left me disappointed. Overall, because my expectations were high based on past experiences, this stay turned out disappointing. As a renowned five-star hotel brand, I would have appreciated more attentive hospitality during our visit.

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    The Westin Hotel: Previously stayed in Kyoto and Tokyo, but this time chose here. The room was clean, with a handwritten message card and cookies on the desk. Thank you for the thoughtful gesture. The room was very clean and comfortable to stay in. The Heavenly Bed was amazing, allowing me to have a good night's sleep after a long time. Since there was a note asking for feedback, I would like to share my thoughts: - On the day of our stay, the lounge usage seemed high, limiting cocktail time to just one hour. While the food was delicious, it was unfortunate that we couldn't enjoy it leisurely due to time constraints. However, breakfast at the lounge the next morning wasn't crowded and could be enjoyed at ease. The freshly made omelet was also very tasty! There were plenty of dishes available with sweet and delicious fruits as well. Three points I hope can be improved: 1) It would be great if items like mouthwash, bath salts, and hair ties were provided in-room amenities. Also, having hair dryers similar to those at the pool's dressing area might be better. 2) At other hotels where I've stayed on club floors before, pool access has been complimentary; hence I was surprised that it is charged here (JPY 3,300 per day). It would help if this information is clearly stated on IKYU.com reservations beforehand so guests are aware ahead of booking decisions. Additionally—considering many guests look forward eagerly towards refreshing swims both evenings & mornings alike—it’d feel fairer offering flat-rate pricing per night instead rather than daily charges separately applied each instance entered during stays overall! 3) Observed some family groups taking excessive amounts (cookies/chocolates), leaving others disappointed when supplies ran out quickly despite replenishments attempted soon afterward again repeatedly happening similarly too often unfortunately witnessed firsthand alongside certain individuals photographing buffet spreads amidst busy peak hours creating awkwardness/discomfort amongst fellow diners nearby unintentionally perhaps yet avoidable ideally addressed via polite signage reminders encouraging mutual respect/manners fostering harmonious shared experiences altogether ultimately benefiting everyone involved positively moving forward hopefully implemented thoughtfully someday eventually considered     I made a reservation with access to the club lounge. I stayed on the second floor, and the size of the room, bathroom, bed comfort, and overall atmosphere were great. However, although it included access to the club lounge, I was slightly concerned that food ran out quickly and restocking was not well managed.

    We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay for two birthdays. The cute bed decorations, card, lovely plate, and surprise celebration were truly touching and appreciated. We were also delighted to receive a celebratory plate at the breakfast restaurant—thank you so much! It became a memorable day for us.     I always have an enjoyable time.

    This was my third stay, and I always enjoy my time here. This time, I had a schedule for a 3-night stay, and as always, the staff's consistent hospitality allowed me to relax. I heard that the dinner menu, including the evening cocktail hour, changed starting in September, but I was impressed by the unchanged deliciousness and variety of options. My next 3-night stay is already reserved for January after the New Year, but I hope to visit again before the year ends if possible.

    This Year's Top Satisfaction

    This year, I have enjoyed spending time at the Club Lounge several times, and I was delighted to hear the recent news that the two-session system for cocktail time has been discontinued. The space previously used only during breakfast hours is now utilized during cocktail time as well, offering a wider variety of options and an enhanced selection. As usual, after enjoying some alcoholic beverages, I ended with a fruit-based non-alcoholic cocktail made with a tea base. It was carefully and thoughtfully prepared, leaving me with a memorable and delicious experience. Despite the unfortunate thunderstorm outside, the large eaves on the window of my Room kept it quiet and comfortable without rain directly hitting it.

    Thank you for a relaxing time. When I want to take it easy nearby, I often choose a Hotel in Yokohama, and this is such a wonderful Hotel where you can relax without any pretense and enjoy delicious meals. This time, I was full from the food at the club lounge, but next time I'd like to try dinner at the Hotel's restaurant. Also, although I couldn't use it this time, the indoor pool adds to the resort-like atmosphere and is highly recommended! Thank you very much.

    The signature pleasant scent of The Westin.

    After feeling that the service level had declined at The Westin in Hokkaido, I had been staying away, but recently I stayed at The Westin Hotel in both Tokyo and Yokohama and was reminded of how much I love it. Greeted by the scent of white tea, I enjoyed a relaxing time in a suite room. Thank you for making my monthly staycation so enjoyable.

    Every year, we look forward to enjoying a staycation in Yokohama as two women. This year, we were delighted to stay at the luxurious Westin Yokohama and had a wonderful time. The exterior, interior, and room design were modern with a touch of Japanese ambiance, which was lovely. However, the view was disappointing. We booked a Bay Room expecting to see the bay, but it wasn’t visible at all—it didn’t feel like being in Yokohama as we had hoped. Perhaps the west-facing rooms might offer views of Mt. Fuji or Yokohama’s cityscape instead. It would be helpful if information about room views could be included during the reservation process. For breakfast, we enjoyed dining at “Pacific Table,” which newly opened this summer. The offerings were abundant and delightful; I especially appreciated their willingness to accommodate fruit-cutting requests and loved how charming the bakery-pastry zone looked—I ended up having quite a lot! On our way out of the restaurant, I accidentally left my glasses on the table without realizing it; however, one of your staff kindly brought them over near the elevator hall for me—thank you so much for that thoughtful gesture. The room itself was well-equipped with functional arrangements such as Heavenly Bed seating areas like lounge sofas paired alongside round tables creating an inviting atmosphere where relaxation came naturally!     It was the best Hotel.

    The staff were incredibly attentive and kind, making our stay truly exceptional. The Room was spacious, clean, and offered a great view. Although we couldn't see Mount Fuji, the scenery through the large windows when opening the curtains was very soothing. The Club Lounge was a bit crowded, but we were able to relax and enjoy time with family. This Hotel excels in both service and facilities. We would love to stay here again next time!

    I stayed at The Westin Yokohama, and despite being an urban Hotel, it provided a deeply relaxing experience for both mind and body. As a relatively new Accommodation, the Facility and spaces are highly refined, reflecting Westin's signature "wellness" philosophy throughout. The lobby during check-in was spacious with high ceilings, offering an open yet serene atmosphere. The staff were professional and attentive without being overly intrusive—perfectly balancing business and leisure needs. The guest room featured an exceptionally comfortable bed; the name "Heavenly Bed" is truly fitting. With excellent soundproofing, I was able to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep without any disturbance from outside noise—a rare luxury in the city. The spacious bathroom was another highlight, especially with its bathtub offering stunning night views. Breakfast exceeded expectations not only in variety but also in quality. Fresh fruits and juices stood out particularly, leaving me fully satisfied to start my day. The fitness center and pool area exclusively for guests were impeccably clean and added significant value to my stay—even a short visit felt worthwhile. Overall, this is a Hotel where I genuinely want to stay again—and I've already made my next Reservation. It offers luxury without pretension while quietly complementing your personal time during your stay.

    The guest room was excellent. I also appreciated the chocolates and cookies. I didn't use the cocktail time at the club lounge much, but I think the breakfast was good.

    A wonderful Hotel.

    I stored my luggage on the first floor before check-in, but I felt that the receptionist lacked a bit of friendliness. Since this is a first-class hotel, I hope for warm and welcoming service at all times. The male staff member who assisted during check-in was polite, accommodating, and excellent. When I stayed here a few years ago, I found everything—facilities and breakfast—to be outstanding. However, this time, perhaps due to aging facilities, the bathtub plug didn’t close properly making it difficult to fill with water. Additionally, the quality of breakfast seemed slightly downgraded (though still luxurious). Even considering these points, the location, view, atmosphere, cleanliness, style—everything remains exceptional and makes me want to stay here again. The cost performance is also quite good. Lastly, dinner at Iron Bay was absolutely fantastic. Both the service and food were impeccable!
