    An inviting lounge that will make you want to come back again.

    The lounge was more affordable than expected, yet the quality was excellent—I really enjoyed it. It’s also conveniently located with easy access from Meieki Station, so I’d like to stay here again.

    Stay in December

    - The usage of the flat parking lot was unclear. Is it only for rooms with higher rates? If there were available spaces, I would have liked to use it. - It would be more convenient if the room had a bathtub, a microwave, and a refrigerator that can store ice. - The breakfast menu didn’t change much, but it was delicious. I wish seasonal fruits were included; it was disappointing not to have strawberries, and the melon’s taste wasn’t great—maybe better without it. - The amenities felt slightly low in quality. Despite these points, I would like to stay again!

    I stayed at this Hot...

    I stayed at this Hotel upon a friend's recommendation as my main purpose for visiting Nagoya was to watch a theater performance. Although the Hotel is slightly far from both Nagoya Station and the theater, I didn't expect much in terms of convenience. However, there were plenty of dining options between the theater and the Hotel, and I found the Hotel very comfortable. Despite usually having trouble sleeping with different pillows, I slept soundly thanks to the comfort of the bed. The staff provided excellent service, making my stay very pleasant—thank you! Initially, I planned to use the lounge but couldn't due to a change in schedule. My friend mentioned that breakfast here is delicious, so I'd like to try it next time. If I have another chance to visit Nagoya, I'll definitely stay here again!

    As expected from Marriott Hotel, it offers a sense of reliability!

    Stayed at Nagoya Marriott to visit the famous Hitsumabushi restaurant, Houraiken! - Location and Parking While not an impossible walk from Nagoya Station, it feels a bit far if you're carrying luggage. There are many parking lots near the hotel. I used an external parking lot, but considering the cost comparison, using the hotel's paid parking would have been just as reasonable. - Reception The stylish hotel entrance is accompanied by a luxurious scent typical of high-class accommodations. Check-in was smooth. However, for those unfamiliar with hotels, they might not realize that you need to scan your key card to use the elevator—this could be better communicated to all guests. - Room The room design and amenities were what you'd expect from a high-class accommodation like Marriott—cleanliness was excellent and everything was well-maintained for a comfortable stay! Although the view included Don Quijote and parking lots in front of the hotel, it didn’t bother me much. I visit Houraiken once a year and definitely plan to stay here again in the future! Thank you!

    I believe it is a luxury Hotel...

    I think it is a very good Hotel. The Simmons bed was extremely comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. For breakfast, it might be suitable for those who prefer a light meal, but for people who enjoy a hearty breakfast, it might feel somewhat lacking. Personally, I wished there were more fish options alongside processed meats and egg dishes. What felt odd to me was the first impression upon entering the Hotel. Expecting the excitement of a luxury Hotel, the first thing that caught my eye was the umbrella stand. Seeing the interior of the Hotel through glass with an umbrella stand in front left an unusual impression on me.

    The property is very clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and luxurious experience.

    The staff, many of whom were from overseas, were very kind and attentive. Unfortunately, dinner was fully booked and unavailable, but breakfast offered a wide variety of options with plenty of fruit, which was very satisfying. Thank you!

    The perfect girls' trip!! Enjoy the ultimate Hotel life

    Visited a friend who moved to Nagoya from Tokyo and enjoyed our first girls' trip in 40 years, staying in the connecting rooms at Courtyard by Marriott! It felt like no time had passed as we exchanged cosmetics, complimented each other's outfits, and reminisced over nostalgic cocktails like Moscow Mules during Happy Hour at the lounge. After savoring hitsumabushi at Unazen near Nagoya Station, we gathered in one of the connecting rooms where room service kindly brought us ice. Dressed in Hotel pajamas, we enjoyed highballs together. Breakfast was a leisurely delight with delicious eel omelets and kishimen noodles followed by donuts and fruits. We chatted endlessly while going for seconds multiple times and even had photos taken for us. The restaurant staff were incredibly kind, especially Ms. Nana Yamada who took great care of us. Thanks to the IKYU Diamond Member benefits, we were able to enjoy a late checkout at 12 PM but decided to stay longer after checkout as well—chatting away while enjoying drinks, club sandwiches, and seasonal strawberry parfaits at the lounge. We spent most of our trip enjoying this wonderful Hotel which made it truly memorable! The cherry blossoms blooming right outside added an extra special touch to our experience. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

    I was worried about the cleaning after reading the Reviews, but it was a good Hotel.

    I read a few Reviews mentioning that the cleaning was not thorough, so I was a bit anxious before my stay. However, the Room was well-cleaned, which gave me peace of mind. I was also very happy to receive a Room upgrade! Although I had already prepaid for the stay, I was asked to provide my credit card details at check-in. When I mentioned that I did not have my credit card with me, I was informed that I would not be able to charge restaurant or other services to my Room. On the form for guest information, I was asked to provide my email address and the names of my companions. After checking in, as I was about to take the elevator, a nearby restaurant staff member greeted me with "Please enjoy your stay," which made me happy. Regarding the Room, I found it slightly inconvenient that there was no towel rack and that there were few power outlets near the TV and tea set. However, there was adequate space to place my belongings, which was convenient. The bathroom had a washing area, which was also practical. I usually bring my own slippers and amenities to any Hotel I visit, so I did not check the provided items. I wonder if encouraging guests to bring their own items could be more environmentally friendly, though I understand there may be differing opinions, and few Hotels seem to implement this practice. Breakfast featured some unique menu items, making the restaurant experience enjoyable. There were no coffee machines or hot water dispensers available. If you needed drinks other than the pre-prepared coffee or tea, you could ask the staff, and they would kindly bring them to your table. When we visited after 9 a.m., my companion mentioned that the multigrain rice had hardened, making it difficult to chew. The gym had basic equipment for strength training, which was sufficient for a short workout. However, it was unclear where to change into indoor shoes. The lockers' electronic locks were not functioning, and all the alcohol sanitizers were empty. The staff members were all very pleasant, and the atmosphere of the building and Room was lovely. I had a very enjoyable stay. Thank you so much!

    No excess or shortage.

    Clean, luxurious, and relaxing. The lack of unnecessary services allowed for a peaceful stay without interference. Breakfast was delicious with miso soup full of ingredients, tororo, mekabu, and flavorful Chita seaweed. It would have been even better if there were cakes for dessert. The amenities included a body-washing towel, which was nice; however, considering the distance from Fushimi Station or the bus stop, having ReFa hair dryers and showers in all rooms would have been ideal.

    We stayed here last ...

    We stayed here last year and visited again this New Year with our family. The beautifully designed interiors provided a relaxing atmosphere, and the connecting rooms allowed us to enjoy lively moments with our son's family. My sister's family was also very satisfied with the ambiance, which felt like an overseas Resort Hotel. Thank you very much!

    Marriott?

    I am a Marriott Platinum member, but I couldn't reserve a twin room on the official site, so I made a reservation here. Even though I am Platinum, breakfast is not included. The hotel staff's hospitality is lacking, with a significant difference between the good and the bad staff.

    Disappointing phone number display

    When I registered the phone number displayed by Ikkyu on the navigation system, I was directed to a different location. When I called the hotel, they said the address of the previous phone number was still there, which left me confused in an unfamiliar place. (No apology at the front desk...) Also, when I tried to charge the meal to my room number, I was told it couldn't be done because there was no deposit, so I paid with a card. However, since I made a direct reservation and payment through Ikkyu, a deposit cannot be made.

    The price and service do not match.

    I was expecting a new hotel, but there was a dusty air purifier and an uncleaned coffee maker. They had a part-time staff member who wasn't fluent in Japanese handle things, and it felt like the manager wasn't functioning at all. The location is far from any station, and with the high accommodation fee that doesn't match the service, I can't recommend it to others.
