    A Relaxing Home Away From Home

    We stayed at Cottage Yucca in luxury with five people. There were other cottages we wanted to try, but we chose this one because it has four bedrooms—most others have about three. It’s designed with a great sense of openness, and we were able to relax and take our time. The BBQ on the terrace is highly recommended—the portions are so generous you won’t be able to finish it all. The breakfast delivered in a basket is also very filling. If you’re looking for a holiday where you can enjoy private space while gazing at the sea, this is the place!

    I keep coming back.

    I love these cottages and keep coming back. This time, my elderly mother really liked the Yucca, as she could feel the warmth of the wood. Relaxing in the jacuzzi while looking out at the sea helped melt away our fatigue, and the BBQ on the terrace was excellent—very fresh seafood and meat, plus a delicious salad, with more than enough food. The sunset was exceptionally beautiful and so soothing. It was also great that towels were provided for the jacuzzi and sauna. As for the bedroom, even with dimmed lighting it was still too bright to sleep comfortably, but turning it off made it completely dark, which was a bit inconvenient. A small bedside lamp would be nice. Everything was very well cleaned and felt comfortable. My mother mentioned there was a little dust on what seemed to be a toilet drain pipe, but overall it felt clean and well maintained without showing its age. We will definitely return again. Thank you very much.

    There is an odor.

    We stayed with our family and two dogs. As soon as we walked in, there was a kimchi-like smell, and the downstairs toilet smelled like sewage. There was deodorizing spray at the entrance, so we sprayed it around and it improved a bit, but it was a disappointing start. There were dog beds and a pet toilet, but only one bowl for the dogs. We brought our own pet supplies, so it wasn’t an issue. For dinner we brought our own ingredients and had a BBQ, but the grill was old and not very clean. When we started cooking it wouldn’t light easily, so we contacted the front desk to check it. It turned out one of the two gas canisters wasn’t connected, and the other seemed to be running low as well. Since we had informed them by email in advance that we would be using the BBQ grill, I wish they had checked it beforehand. The deck table and chairs were also dirty, so we wiped everything down ourselves—it felt like they hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. There were no tongs either. There was also very little tissue paper left and no spare. That said, our dogs seemed to love it—they ran around happily in the dog run. The ocean view was amazing. Breakfast came in a basket and everything was delicious—especially the onion soup and bread. The marmalade and fig jam were also excellent; they tasted homemade. Because our expectations were high, overall it felt a bit disappointing for the price.

    What a pity.

    We stayed at a private accommodation with two adults, one elementary school child, and one dog. We were looking forward to the dog run as advertised, but the garden was overgrown with grass and not suitable for letting our dog out. Both bedrooms had an unpleasant smell. The air conditioners were visibly covered in mold and dust, which was very uncomfortable. As for the pool and sauna that our child was excited about, we were told that children could not use this hotel's facilities and were directed to a nearby affiliated hotel instead. We walked there as instructed but found out that a separate sauna fee was required despite being told earlier that only bath towels would be needed. This caused us to return to retrieve additional items, which was frustrating since we weren’t informed about these extra charges or payment methods beforehand. The only positive experience at this hotel was the enjoyable tuk-tuk shuttle service to the dinner restaurant. However, upon returning home and reviewing the receipt, we noticed charges for a pizza we didn’t order or eat at the restaurant—this left us extremely disappointed. Considering how much money we spent on this stay, it fell far below expectations in every way possible. We will not be returning again.

    We were excited abou...

    We were excited about staying in a private cottage! With a jacuzzi and sauna included, we were able to relax from the moment we checked in. However, the BBQ grill was dirty when we opened the lid, as it had been left uncleaned after previous use. Although it was quickly replaced with a new one, pre-use checks are necessary. Additionally, it was disappointing to see visible black mold on the air conditioner on the second floor. The air conditioner is at eye level and clearly showed black mold, and there were also cobwebs on the ceiling, which made us feel that cleaning could be improved. It would be better to address these issues so that guests can enjoy their stay comfortably. The sunset and ocean view from our room were stunningly beautiful and helped us forget our daily busyness! As for breakfast, the bread was especially soft with a slight sweetness—absolutely delicious!

    I stayed here with my university friends. The room was spacious, bright, and open. We brought our own food for a BBQ in the evening, and the kitchen utensils were well-equipped, making it very convenient! Having breakfast and dinner on the terrace while enjoying the ocean view was absolutely amazing. In the morning, we used the sauna provided and had a refreshing start to our day. It was such a fulfilling experience :) Thank you so much!

    Have a fun and unforgettable time!

    Enjoy a wonderful time with your two beloved dogs and your partner. BBQ on the terrace was delightful, though it was a bit disappointing that we couldn't see the sunset. In the morning, breakfast was brought to our Room, and we enjoyed freshly baked bread. My partner commented, "What a luxurious morning." Thank you very much!

    Slow Holidays

    Stayed with our dog. The villa was very clean, and the living-dining area was spacious with a truly beautiful ocean view. The sound of birds was also very soothing. The meal plan at a nearby Italian restaurant was delicious, with plenty of dishes to enjoy, and it was pet-friendly, making it even more enjoyable. Additionally, the hospitality from the front desk staff and restaurant staff was exceptional, showcasing the high quality of Awaji Island's tourism experience. We would love to visit again. Thank you for taking care of us! Just one small request... It would be great if soap could be provided in the restroom. That’s the only thing we noticed!

    The sunset was beautiful.

    We stayed at the Doggie rental villa with our family and one dog. Although it rained, the weather cleared up by evening, allowing us to enjoy a BBQ on the terrace. Watching the sunset while having a BBQ made my family very happy, which was wonderful. The stay included breakfast, and the bread was surprisingly delicious and soft—overall, we were very satisfied. We talked about how we would definitely come back again. The only thing was that the living room sofa was small and short; if there were a larger sofa, adults could lie down and relax more comfortably.

    We stayed in a cotta...

    We stayed in a cottage with our dog. The flooring was made of non-slip material, and both the Room and bathroom were clean. We chose a Plan that included breakfast and dinner, but since there was a refrigerator, toaster, microwave, dishes, and pots available, self-cooking was also possible. Breakfast delivered in a basket included freshly baked bread and everything was delicious. Dinner was just a few minutes' walk away; however, there were several restaurants with similar names nearby, so it would have been helpful if the Hotel front desk provided clearer directions. One disappointing aspect was the gap between the Hotel and cottage that resembled a pitfall—it had no lighting or markers. On our way back from dinner at night, I fell into it and suffered significant bruises and scrapes in several places which made walking quite difficult afterward. The road in front of the Hotel is narrow; to avoid cars you must walk close to the wall where this unexpected gap appears like an actual trap. Measures such as adding lights or cones for warning signs or providing explanations at check-in would be appreciated. When I mentioned this to the woman at reception the next morning, she seemed unaware of this issue entirely.

    The worst Hotel I have ever stayed at during New Year's.

    I understand the concept of the Hotel, but there is no table or space to eat breakfast indoors, so I had to eat on the balcony in the cold weather!! It was so cold that I hardly ate. If it's a takeout breakfast system, I think they should at least provide a space to eat indoors. This is the worst Hotel that only cares about appearances for the price.

    Family Trip

    We used this for a family trip this time. The atmosphere of the Room with a view of the sea was nice, and we were impressed by the refined taste of each dish in the dinner course. We also appreciate the warm hospitality of all the staff. It became a memorable and wonderful trip, and we were able to have a great time talking about it with the whole family. Thank you very much.

    This is my fourth time!

    This is my fourth stay. I am always satisfied. Things that caught my attention this time: The amenities were reduced. There was no shampoo, conditioner, body soap, or body cream. It was disappointing. The ventilation outlet in the second-floor washroom was dusty. I called to confirm if there were scissors available, and was told there were, but there weren't any. Other than that, I am very satisfied.

    Stylish Stays

    I used it with a friend. In a word, it's photogenic. As for the service content, it's above average. I think it's the perfect Stays for a trip with friends.

    I expected too much...

    We used the whole building rental at Beachdo. The cleaning wasn't done very well... We chose the barbecue type dinner, but the content was not great. We drove to a butcher near Awaji Island to buy meat. We will not use it again.
