    After laughing at To...

    After laughing at Toyokan for my friend’s birthday, we stayed here to relax. They even prepared a birthday gift for us—thank you very much. In the evening, we spent time in the lounge on the 10th floor while enjoying Japanese sweets. The bathroom was separate from the toilet, so we could use it comfortably without worry. We had breakfast at View Hotel. It was a very satisfying stay, and my friend was delighted.

    I had been wanting to stay here at least once. I’d wanted to stay here, but last time I stayed in the main building. This time I stayed in the new building. It’s a very nice Hotel—except for one thing. The TV only shows regular TV channels. You can’t watch YouTube or anything like that. Since it’s a new Hotel, I assumed YouTube would be available, so I didn’t ask the staff in advance. I did know ahead of time—because the Hotel contacted me—that there was no DVD player provided. I wanted to use YouTube, but it wasn’t available. Instead, I listened to the background music on the menu screen. There were four BGM options. The music was pretty good, so in that sense it was still fairly enjoyable. What I especially liked about staying at this Hotel: 1. The shower head is great. 2. The breakfast is luxurious. 3. It’s nice that there is a premium lounge. 4. The Room is spacious and comfortable. That’s about it. Overall, I think it’s a good Hotel. Because the TV was disappointing, I lowered my Room rating slightly.

    Second stay in Asakusa

    I stayed overnight in Asakusa for the first time in 40 years. Last time, I stayed at Asakusa View Hotel with a couple who are friends of mine. This time, I stayed with the same couple at the new Asakusa View Hotel Annex Rokku. The Room had a thoughtfully designed layout, there was a lounge, and we could see Tokyo Skytree—overall, I was very satisfied. My friends were happy too.

    I was looking forward to the lounge, but

    I headed to the lounge right after check-in, as it was available. When I went to get coffee, a foreign female staff member was standing motionless behind the counter—I honestly thought she might be a mannequin at first. As I sat back and drank slowly, loud clattering sounds of glasses banging echoed throughout the lounge. When I looked over, she was restocking glasses on a tray by pushing them into the ones in front, causing many glasses to collide loudly each time. Normally, staff would reach from their side and gently place glasses into empty spaces, but every time she pushed one glass back to restock, there was a repeated crashing noise. She restocked about five glasses, and each time multiple glasses hit each other with a loud sound. I was disappointed by the lack of consideration—something that feels unacceptable from a Japanese perspective. I stayed for about an hour and it happened twice. Even the sound of stacking cups felt rough and careless. Please provide more attentive, Japan-style staff training. It was a foreign woman with her hair tied back. It ruined the lounge atmosphere. The location is excellent and the building is new. However, dust is noticeable—inside the elevator, in the hallways, and especially in corners of the room. I hope this will be improved going forward.

    This was my repeat s...

    This was my repeat stay. I really like this Hotel, and I’d love to bring my children someday because they would enjoy it too. There are fewer sweets in the lounge now, but there are still delicious options. Last time, they had cotton candy. I also had breakfast at the View Hotel, and it was delicious!

    Satisfied

    I previously stayed at Asakusa View Hotel and was very satisfied. This time, I stayed in the new annex, and I was happy that you prepared a wedding anniversary gift for us. For breakfast, we chose the 26th floor of the main building, and the wonderful view made it even more enjoyable. Thank you very much.

    It was a cozy and comfortable stay!

    The Room layout is excellent. 1) The toilet, washbasin area, and bath with a washing area are all separate. 2) The hallway is spacious, so you can easily move two large suitcases around (and people can pass each other comfortably). 3) The open closet is also roomy—you can hang plenty of clothes, and there’s space underneath to place and open a large suitcase. 4) There’s a large, comfortable sofa that’s perfect for relaxing and also works well as a spot to put shopping bags and other items. 5) With a minibar, desk, small table, and plenty of places to set things down, it’s very convenient. Overall, it was extremely functional and comfortable to stay in. The lounge is wonderful because all guests can use it as many times as they like. The interior is very calming—perfect for taking a break—and since it’s spacious, it never feels crowded. I truly appreciate that. I was also happy that the snack selection featured the same lineup of famous Asakusa sweets as last year, and everything was delicious. And breakfast is fun because you can choose your main dish from many options—and even though it’s excellent, I think JPY 3,600 is an incredible value. Until now I stayed here when I had plans in Asakusa, but from now on—even if we don’t have any reason to be in Asakusa—we’ll come specifically to stay at this Hotel. It has become our whole family’s favorite Hotel.

    We had a comfortable stay!

    Last year, on my first stay, I had made separate one-night Reservations through Agoda and Trip.com, so I expected to explain it at check-in. However, the Hotel already had everything perfectly organized as a two-night stay in the same Room, which pleasantly surprised me (even major Hotels sometimes miss details like this). Every staff member I encountered provided warm hospitality, so I was looking forward to staying here again this year. This year, I made a Reservation on IKYU for two guests for two nights, but at short notice we needed to add another Reservation on IKYU for one guest for one night—so we ended up with two Rooms. Since it was last-minute, I felt sorry to trouble you and didn’t make any special requests; I only hoped the two Rooms might be on the same floor. When we checked in, we were given key cards for the same floor again—another wonderful surprise. Thinking once more how exceptional your service is, we headed to our Rooms and found they were next door to each other. That impressed us even more. I know it depends on timing and availability and not every Hotel can accommodate this, so I was truly grateful and happy—and it reminded me again how glad I am that we chose to stay here. As always, every staff member greeted us with a warm smile, making our stay very comfortable. We also enjoyed using the lounge without hesitation; the delicious local sweets and tea were very soothing. Thank you very much for everything. I would love to stay here again when visiting Asakusa.

    A Hotel with Exceptional Hospitality

    We arrived quite early, and the gentleman who spoke to us and helped with the check-in process was extremely pleasant—his manner of speaking and smile were wonderful. I think he was the best front desk staff member I’ve ever met. The Asakusa specialty sweets in the lounge were also very delicious, and my elderly mother was absolutely delighted. It’s a Hotel that truly made us want to come back again. Thank you very much.

    A One-Night Stay Blending into the Streets of Asakusa

    The Hotel was conveniently located just a short distance from Asakusa’s downtown area, so we took breaks in the lounge and then went out to explore, enjoying a wonderful time. Each item we had in the lounge was carefully selected, even though the variety was limited, and breakfast let us enjoy thoughtfully prepared Japanese flavors.

    It was a very, very comfortable Hotel.

    I visit Tokyo fairly often, but this was my first stay at Asakusa View Hotel. Whenever I come to Tokyo, I always visit Senso-ji Temple, so I had known about Asakusa View Hotel as a very prominent landmark alongside the Hotel where I stayed this time. I happened to find an affordable rate for the timing of my trip, so I decided to stay here. As expected, it was a very comfortable Hotel. The Room was very spacious, and having the bathroom and toilet separate was especially convenient. I usually have breakfast at a buffet, but at this Hotel you choose one main dish and then help yourself to salad and other items from the buffet—my first time experiencing that style. From the photos, I thought the main dish would be small, but what arrived was very generous in portion size and delicious—I was truly impressed. My wife and I really liked it. The location is also very convenient, so I would definitely like to stay again next time.

    I chose this Hotel m...

    I chose this Hotel mainly because the bath and toilet are separate, but the Room was clean and the staff were very kind. The gentleman assisting outside also had a wonderful smile. In the lounge, I was able to relax while enjoying snacks and drinks with a view of Tokyo Skytree. Since it’s in Asakusa, I chose a Plan without meals and planned to enjoy dining around the Hotel, but it seems I didn’t choose the right place… Next time I stay, I’ll choose a Plan with meals.

    This is my third stay.

    In this lounge, there was cotton candy for children. I think it’s a treat kids will really love! The snacks had been updated with items like rice crackers and donuts. I remember the pickled squid being delicious, but it wasn’t available this time. The front desk and lounge staff were all kind, and I’m glad we stayed here. Next time, I’d like to stay again with my children who love Japanese sweets. Breakfast was also very delicious. Thank you!

    The Room was spacious and convenient. The breakfast buffet corner was clean and very delicious. The location was excellent, and it was within walking distance to Asakusa View Hotel, allowing us to enjoy both Hotels, including buying bread there.

    Hotel to Enjoy the Culture of Asakusa

    The nighttime drum show was impressive and wonderful! This time, I had a purpose to visit Kappabashi Tool Street, and it was very close, which was great. The parking lot at the nearby Asakusa View Hotel underground parking was convenient. I would like to use it again when visiting Asakusa.

    Asakusa Stroll

    Reunited with old friends, we decided to watch a performance at the Asakusa Engei Hall and stay overnight at this accommodation for a chat. After leaving our luggage, we walked to the nearby Engei Hall through a spacious pedestrian zone, which was very pleasant. In the evening, we strolled through another pedestrian zone near Senso-ji Temple to a restaurant and enjoyed the beautifully lit-up temple. For breakfast, we went to the 10th floor of View Hotel's main building and had a delicious meal while admiring Tokyo Skytree. Since there were four of us, we stayed in connecting rooms but enjoyed chatting comfortably in the lounge with some snacks for an enjoyable stay.

    A one-of-a-kind space

    This is my second stay, and if I need accommodation in Tokyo, I will choose this place without hesitation. The room layout (which is simply outstanding), the variety and quality of amenities, the TV in the spacious bathroom—everything about it offers unparalleled comfort compared to other ryokans or city hotels I've stayed at. Although I skipped breakfast this time due to circumstances, the breakfast during my previous stay was truly unique and distinctive. Enjoying Asakusa specialties while viewing Tokyo Skytree from the lounge on the 10th floor... This hotel can be enjoyed by both international and Japanese guests alike. It would be great if alcohol could also be served in the lounge. I did notice again that while the elevator hall has a surprisingly spacious waiting area, the elevators themselves feel relatively narrow, which creates a slight sense of inconsistency. However, such minor details are completely overshadowed by how wonderful this space is overall.

    Luxurious Time

    We visited during the busy May holiday season. After enjoying the bustling crowds of Asakusa, stepping into the hotel was a pleasant surprise—it was incredibly quiet and relaxing, allowing us to unwind. The lounge offered delicious drinks and a snack corner featuring perfectly sized treats of Asakusabashi specialties, making for an enjoyable time with lively conversations. From our window, we could see the refreshing May sky and Tokyo Skytree above, while below were crowds of people—a contrast we found delightful. Breakfast allowed us to choose our main dish, so we eagerly ordered various options. Everything was delicious and plentiful; however, it was unfortunate that we couldn’t try the tempting bread from the buffet corner due to being full. (After checking out, we purchased some of the same bread at Asakusa View Hotel’s shop near the parking lot and enjoyed it thoroughly!) Since only standard rooms were available this time, I’d love to stay in one of their concept rooms on my next visit. The location is excellent—if you’re driving, parking is conveniently available at Asakusa View Hotel nearby. The Tsukuba Express station is also right in front of the accommodation, making it easy to leave your car behind and explore Tokyo by train. I would love to visit again! Thank you very much for a wonderful stay!

    It remained calm even during this Golden Week.

    I stayed during this Golden Week. Surprisingly, there were mostly inbound guests, but it was not crowded. In the past, the View Hotel was extremely crowded and challenging to navigate. This was a pleasant experience.

    What is hospitality...

    On the night of my stay, a fire broke out in an adjacent building, and the hotel's fire alarm blared loudly. I ran frantically through smoke-filled hallways and evacuated via the emergency stairs while watching flames engulf the neighboring structure. It was the first time in my life that I truly felt my life was in danger. Afterward, despite it being April, I had to wait outside the hotel for over an hour in chilly weather. During this time, there was no roll call based on a guest list to ensure everyone’s safety—I even asked staff if anyone might have been left behind out of concern. To make matters worse, when some clarity about the situation emerged, all explanations from hotel staff were given only in English. What kind of country is this hotel operating in? I was utterly shocked and speechless. This incident wasn’t about marketing or promotions; it was a matter of crisis management where lives were at stake. Later on, after receiving approval from firefighters, we returned to our rooms to stay overnight—but sleeping peacefully under such circumstances was impossible due to lingering anxiety. Furthermore, despite what had happened that night, there wasn’t even a single word of apology from staff during check-out. Even though the fire didn’t originate within the hotel itself—shouldn’t they at least address guests who suffered significant inconvenience? I sincerely hope this company reconsiders its approach moving forward.

    We stayed as a famil...

    We stayed as a family of four. The two sinks, TV in the bathroom, and high-quality amenities made for a very relaxing stay. It was also great to be able to relax in the lounge after check-in and at night. The parking lot was available for 22 hours, so we didn't need to look for another parking space and were able to enjoy sightseeing in Asakusa and Ueno, which was really helpful.

    I was impressed by the free service of Japanese sweets, snacks, and drinks in Asakusa. The breakfast was also delicious and very satisfying. It was just New Year's, and there was ozoni, so I could feel the New Year's atmosphere. The location is also good, and I would like to stay again.

    I had a great time.

    I used it for an annual trip with a friend of 40 years. The location was good, and I appreciated the service of being able to leave my luggage before check-in. There was also tea and Asakusa sweets service in the lounge on the 10th floor, and we enjoyed it while watching the night view. The Room felt a bit small, but it was great that the toilet and bath were separate. When I broke a glass and informed the front desk, they immediately asked, "Are you injured?" showing concern. Thank you for your care. I parted with my friend, whom I met after a year, with a smile, saying, "It was fun," and fulfilled my role as the organizer. Thank you very much.

    It was a very good stay.

    The view of Tokyo Skytree from the lounge was wonderful. The selection of drinks and sweets was also impressive. The various flavors of anko balls and sweet potato kins were particularly delicious. The room was spacious, allowing us to relax and unwind from our travels. Additionally, being able to watch performances at the restaurant is a great idea. I believe both foreigners and Japanese people can enjoy it very much. I would definitely like to use this place again when I return home.
