    In-Room Cleaning

    The pool wasn’t crowded even during the summer holidays, and our child really enjoyed it! I would like you to clean the black mold on the bathroom floor. Overall, I felt the Room cleanliness was a bit lacking. I would appreciate it if you could improve this.

    Multiple Night Stay (2 nights)

    I expected a first-class Hotel, but I was very disappointed to see a guest staying there with traditional Japanese tattoos covering both arms. The Room refrigerator did not cool properly, the meals were below expectations, and the inclusive offerings were disappointing in both quality and quantity. There was no send-off at checkout, and I will not stay again. It seems the quality of Garden Terrace Nagasaki was exceptional.

    Everything exceeded ...

    Everything exceeded our expectations in every way, and we had a very comfortable stay. If I had to mention one thing, it would be even better if there were a Shuttle Service from the nearest station.

    I may have had high ...

    I may have had high expectations after reading such amazing Reviews. Honestly, the location is really not good. However, the sauna is a high-temperature dry sauna with a window, and it would have been perfect if not for what sounded like a motor noise. It felt like constant banging from outside, and this definitely should be improved—especially because the sauna itself is great. Things like poolside access from the lounge and the shortage of glasses for refills felt inefficient, and these rules weren’t explained in advance (while other less important things were), which made it feel like a missed opportunity despite everyone’s efforts. If you’re going to offer all-inclusive, go all in; if not—or if you can’t—maybe it would be better to change how it’s advertised. The Room was spacious and lovely, which made it feel even more disappointing.

    Many areas are not thoroughly cleaned.

    My family and I have stayed here several times. We choose it because we can use the pool, enjoy teppanyaki, and it’s nearby. Recently, however, the cleaning has been very inadequate. First, the pool: - There is an odor - A lot of dead insects - Algae is growing - Spider webs and trash - Clogged drains It clearly hasn’t been cleaned properly. There’s no chlorine smell, and algae is growing. I’m not sure whether things like chlorine levels are being properly managed. When I asked a staff member to lend me a net so I could remove the trash, they handed one to me—but should guests really be expected to clean at a Hotel at this price? It was very disappointing. Inside and around the sauna as well, there was a lot of trash and many spider webs, and it seems it hasn’t been properly cleaned for quite some time. This is far too unhygienic as a Facility measure for the Hotel. There are old Hotels out there, but it’s rare to find one where the pool and sauna are this dirty. Whether housekeeping is outsourced or handled by staff, management should ensure proper oversight. The food was delicious and we would like to stay again, so I strongly hope you will review and improve your cleaning standards.

    Relax in your Room

    The Room is spacious and equipped with a smart TV, making it perfect for relaxing—enjoying the jacuzzi or having a drink. There was a Bluetooth speaker, but it was broken and would not turn on. Breakfast was delicious, and being able to get refills of individual items was a big plus. The lounge food is more like light snacks. The lounge itself feels like an extension of the front desk area, so it’s not very relaxing. Overall, the Room and meals were satisfying, but the staff felt more like guides than Hotel professionals, so it may be best not to expect too much in terms of service.

    I would love to stay here again.

    Although I was concerned about some details regarding the operation of the jacuzzi and other facilities, overall, I had a comfortable stay. Next time, I would like to try using the pool and gym.

    Friendly Staff

    This was my first time staying at this accommodation. The room was spacious, and I thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi, amenities, and relaxing time in the lounge. I was also amazed by the variety of breakfast options and the extensive à la carte menu. Above all, I truly appreciated the warm and attentive service from the staff from arrival to departure.     I had a relaxing time.

    Once again, the Room was quiet and comfortable. The jacuzzi helped relieve the fatigue from the day, and I slept soundly! Staying at other Hotels makes me appreciate how great this one is. It has almost all the elements that make a Hotel ideal. I visit Fukuoka every year, and we always say we’ll stay here for at least one night. Thank you very much!

    Grandchild's Autumn Break

    Every autumn, we usually travel during the holiday, but this year, due to other plans, we stayed for just one night. We usually stay at the same Hotel in nearby Hakata, but this time we chose your Hotel based on a friend's recommendation. The Room was spacious and had a jacuzzi (though my husband mentioned it felt unsafe without handrails as others have noted), which was nice. However, the view from the balcony was disappointing with a water treatment plant and some factories visible in front of us—it diminished the resort-like atmosphere and made it hard to fully relax. That said, we enjoyed the meals very much, and most importantly, our grandchild had a wonderful time (especially enjoying the pool). The lounge offered various drinks but felt slightly lacking otherwise—though understandable since it's not a club lounge. One small concern was that after-meal coffee came from the lounge's coffee machine instead of being served directly. Apologies for leaving such critical comments.

    I was very satisfied.

    The breakfast was delicious. The room was spacious, and the jet bath was great. It was a bit far from the subway station, requiring taxi transportation; having a shuttle service would have been even better. I would like to stay again if I have the chance.

    I stayed at this acc...

    I stayed at this accommodation shortly after it opened, and this is my second visit. I have also stayed several times at the affiliated Garden Terrace Saga and Urari Takeo accommodations. This time, I chose this nearby accommodation looking forward to enjoying the club lounge. Unfortunately, the club lounge no longer offers cold dishes like prosciutto, pâté, or fruits. Only snacks like salami sticks, cream puffs, and dry appetizers were available. I was disappointed as I had been looking forward to it based on the images in the accommodation introduction. If I had known beforehand, I might have chosen a different place... There may be others like me who take those images literally. Please consider removing them. There is now a new glass-walled sauna, and the poolside lighting at night is very beautiful. However, I got bitten by mosquitoes multiple times; having insect repellent available depending on the season would be helpful. The free drinks in the room's refrigerator were appreciated. However, there seemed to be mold or dirt inside the fridge—it left me with mixed feelings. For breakfast, you can order à la carte items (though not many options) in addition to a basic set meal. The portions are small so it’s recommended for families with children. The staff's attentiveness was excellent and allowed us to enjoy our meal leisurely. Thank you for your hospitality!

    Second Stay

    During our previous stay, the children loved the large pool, so we decided to stay again this year and made a reservation. The room is spacious, the lounge can be used for free, and breakfast is very delicious. However, as I felt last time as well, it is extremely disappointing that the staff's hospitality is lacking. Despite this being our second stay, we were handed the same form as before and asked to fill in our information. Last time we had to write down all guests' names; was it really necessary to do so again? (Although last time it was mandatory for everyone’s name to be written down, this time nothing was said even if not completed.) Since the front desk is on the first floor, you have to pass by it when going to the restaurant or using the lounge. Even when using the pool—which has glass walls—the front desk can be seen from there too. This means frequent encounters with staff throughout your stay at this hotel. As lounge use after 7 PM is prohibited for children under elementary school age, I left my kids with their grandmother and went alone after 8 PM; however, there were people with children using it at that time. Despite two staff members working in the lounge area at that moment, no one addressed or corrected this situation—it was quite surprising. Additionally, several staff members passed by in front of the lounge multiple times during my visit there; because of this constant presence near me while trying to relax in peace within such spaces like lounges felt uncomfortable overall. The next morning while passing through reception en route towards breakfast service areas nearby—there wasn’t any greeting exchanged nor acknowledgment given initially instead directly asking "What’s your name?" Small gestures such as starting conversations politely saying “Good Morning” would’ve been appreciated here beforehand!     Shuttle service might be a good addition.

    It's a little over 1,000 yen by taxi from Meinohama Station, but considering the location, Shuttle Service would be helpful. For the return trip, you need to call a taxi and pay an additional dispatch fee. My companion said, "Why was a Hotel built here?" and I replied, "Why did we choose to stay here this time?" It may sound like a riddle, but if you keep that in mind while managing the place, it could become a great Hotel. The 12:00 checkout time is nice; we were able to relax in the morning.

    I stayed again this ...

    I stayed again this time. The Room with a jacuzzi bath was, of course, wonderful, and the addition of a sauna to the lounge and fitness made it even more attractive. I also enjoyed the luxurious breakfast familiar to the Garden Terrace Hotel Group. Morning champagne and à la carte menu are unbeatable! I will use it again.

    Wonderful Hotel

    This was my second stay since the year before last. I was able to use the sauna, which wasn't available last time, and had a very pleasant experience. The breakfast was also very delicious, and I enjoyed the à la carte menu as well. Although it's not the hotel's responsibility, it's unfortunate that transportation has become even less convenient due to the closure of Marinoa City (public transportation used). I would love to stay here again whenever I have the chance. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

    A Resort Hotel with a homely atmosphere

    This was my second stay. This time, I stayed for two nights. Previously, I stayed at Hilton Seahawk, Miyako Hotel, and Hyatt, all of which were wonderful Hotels. Garden Terrace is a small Hotel, but it has a homely feel that suits me well. Unlike large Hotels, breakfast here can be enjoyed without waiting, and you can choose from three types of menus: Japanese, Western, and fruit, with a wide variety of à la carte options. Above all, the staff are all very pleasant and accommodating. The lounge offered all-you-can-drink service until midnight. The Room was spacious, and the bathroom had a jacuzzi, giving it a full resort feel. As a bonus, the refrigerator had two complimentary bottles of sparkling wine. Although transportation from Hakata Station is a bit inconvenient, I am considering making this my regular Property in Hakata. Thank you very much. I look forward to staying again in April.

    It is a wonderful Hotel.

    I stayed at the property when I visited Fukuoka for work. Since it was a distance from the nearest station, I used a taxi. The room was very spacious and clean, and the long desk was particularly helpful for spreading out my PC and documents, making work efficient. Both the room's sofa and the terrace's sofa were comfortable to sit on. I was surprised that the drinks and mini snacks in the room's refrigerator were free. The lounge exclusive to guests offered free alcohol, coffee, tea, snacks, and cold dishes in small cups. I only toured the sauna and pool, but they were very stylish. The breakfast set menu, along with a la carte steak and curry, was delicious, and I had seconds. The mango juice, French toast, and ice cream were also delicious. The bath was spacious, but I was concerned that the shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were in stylish, simple containers without labels, making it unclear, and there were no handrails when entering the jacuzzi. It was a very good stay. Thank you for your hospitality.

    For those who want to leisurely enjoy the Hotel

    I used the property when visiting relatives in Fukuoka. Since I was traveling with a small child and was pregnant, I booked an in-room plan (dinner and breakfast served in the room). We checked in in the evening and stayed in the room almost the entire time until the next morning. There is a large outlet nearby, but it seems to be closed from around August 2024, so I think there is only a convenience store nearby. We didn't plan to go out originally, but I don't think you can enjoy exploring the neighborhood. There was no night view with the outlet or Ferris wheel lights, but you can enjoy the lights of the sea and the large church along the coast. The most memorable part was the guest room. The spacious guest room and the convenient washbasin gave a great sense of luxury. There were some signs of aging, such as the ceiling, walls, and jacuzzi brand, but since it's not a luxury hotel in the city center, I decided to overlook it. For the in-room dining, they brought the entire table with the food on it. The folded part is expanded in the room to make a round table, but perhaps the lock was weak, and when the child put weight on the expanded part, it folded with a bang, and the child flipped over face-first onto the floor, which was quite a scare. Since both the food and the child were unharmed, it wasn't a big deal, but those with small children should be careful. The food itself was wonderfully delicious. They were careful with the food for pregnant women, avoiding raw items. However, breakfast was served without any special confirmation, and there were dishes like soft-boiled eggs, which was a bit disappointing considering the accommodation cost. They did what was asked, but didn't seem to go beyond that. Overall, I was able to relax, and since I got a discount reservation through IKYU, I was very satisfied with the affordable stay. I would like to use it again if it's at a similar price! Without the discount, I might have to think about it a bit.

    A female staff membe...

    A female staff member guided me to the Room, but I was honestly surprised that she didn't even say, "Shall I carry your luggage?" I carried my suitcase to the Room myself. The Room was spacious, stylish, and very clean. Thank you for the upgrade. I chose in-room dining for dinner, and while the taste was generally good, I would have appreciated it if it had been kept a bit warmer. I was bothered by the clicking sound of the heel hardware from the breakfast venue staff. The fresh juice at breakfast tasted like it was freshly squeezed and was delicious. There was a Diamond Member benefit (half bottle of sparkling wine) this time, but the drink list, which stated that there would be a charge from the second bottle onwards, also included the half bottle of sparkling wine described as a Diamond benefit. Since there was only one sparkling half bottle in the refrigerator, I wondered if the drinks standardly prepared in the refrigerator were considered a Diamond benefit? If so, I think it would be better not to mention the Diamond Member benefit itself. It leaves a bad impression. It might be good for those who want to stay at a clean and stylish Hotel with good cost performance, but the lack of hospitality from the staff is evident everywhere, so I cannot recommend it to those who prioritize hospitality.

    It is a beautiful Hotel.

    The Room was very clean, and the slippers and towels were fluffy and very nice. Although it was a late check-in, the lounge was available until midnight, so I was grateful to be able to enjoy a variety of drinks. The meals had a wide variety of a la carte options, and I was able to eat a lot. I felt the seasoning was generally on the strong side.

    The breakfast was delicious.

    I usually stay at a Ryokan, but this time I stayed here because it is close to my travel destination. Being accustomed to the courteous hospitality at a Ryokan, I felt the service at the Hotel was a bit indifferent, but the male chef at the breakfast venue was very pleasant, which seemed to enhance the deliciousness of the food. The Room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the room service was also delicious.

    All-Inclusive

    Stayed for the first time from Tokyo. I used to live near Meinohama Station and visited for the first time in over 20 years. There is also Odo Park nearby, and the Hotel has a pool that children can enjoy. The breakfast was excellent, and the Room was clean and perfect. My in-laws were also pleased. I would like to stay again when I visit Fukuoka.

    I had a wonderful time!

    This was my first stay, and both the room, lounge, and breakfast were excellent. The staff provided attentive hospitality. I also used the training room, and it was comfortable. I had a second helping of the smoothie at breakfast. All the other menu items were delicious as well.

    A resort hotel where "just right" feels comfortable.

    I stayed here with my two-year-old daughter and wife during our trip. We fully utilized the hotel's facilities, including the pool, training room, and lounge. The room and its amenities were clean, allowing us to enjoy a very refreshing stay. The staff were very kind, and despite making an unreasonable request regarding room service, they responded graciously. When it comes to resort hotels, the size can often be overwhelming, but this hotel was compact in a good way. You can choose the amount and variety of breakfast yourself, and there is no excessive service, making it a perfect hotel that respects the preferences of its guests. I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit Fukuoka.

    Overall, it was somewhat disappointing.

    I stayed for two nights. The staff all seemed like part-time or temporary workers. Their language was inappropriate, and the requests I had contacted them about in advance were not communicated at all, which was baffling. The building looks nice from the outside, but cleaning was not thorough. There were always insects and leaves floating in the pool, so I couldn’t use it in the end. Breakfast was partly an order-style buffet, but the staff didn’t pay attention to their surroundings at all. They stomped around and it wasn’t relaxing. It felt like everyone had been trained to act that way—every single person had that attitude. If you’re going to run an order-style buffet, shouldn’t you check whether anyone is trying to call you over? The atmosphere was nice, but it was disappointing—a Hotel with no substance. I guess there was a reason it was cheap (lol).

    Wonderful hotel!

    I stayed for two nights for my husband's birthday. I had booked a different room for the second night, but since moving rooms was a hassle, they changed it to the same room as the first night. The staff who assisted us were very courteous, and I was grateful for their service. Thank you so much to the staff who helped with the surprise by receiving and holding onto my husband's birthday present, which I sent to the hotel. Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious, and we were extremely satisfied! Everything was great, from the room to the jacuzzi, and being able to smoke on the terrace. I've added another hotel to my list that I definitely want to revisit.
