    This was my first st...

    This was my first stay, and the service was excellent. The hospitality was truly impressive. It’s a Hotel I’d like to stay at again. I stayed in a suite Room this time, but I felt the amenities were a bit lacking. It would be helpful if items like lotion were provided in the Room. The shower was slightly difficult to use, and the shape of the bathtub forces you into a reclining position, so you need to be cautious (laughs). However, the Room itself was lovely. The view was beautiful, and both the bed and pillows were comfortable. Room service was great as well. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! I even thought about coming back just for breakfast alone!

    Comfortable Space

    It was my first time staying in a Room with a terrace at The Tokyo Edition after a long time. Although I only stepped out onto the terrace briefly due to the chilly weather, I could feel the spaciousness and enjoyed a relaxing time. The breakfast (Japanese option) was as delicious as ever. I chose in-room dining, and while the Kansai-style rolled omelet had turned into a sweeter Kanto-style version, it’s always something to look forward to at The Edition.

    The pricing and services are fully tailored for inbound guests and may not be suitable for Japanese customers.

    For Japanese guests, the experience may not feel worth the price. There were many moments where it seemed like the service was primarily catered to English-speaking international visitors. Staff communicated with each other via intercoms, but they spoke in rough Japanese right in front of guests (sometimes even talking about themselves), which was quite surprising. Japanese speakers may find it uncomfortable, and despite staying for just one night, I often felt that the service was lacking, which was very disappointing. Given its location and price range, it seems like a place chosen for special occasions; however, Japanese guests might have a better experience choosing from other available options.

    The room is small an...

    The room is small and inconvenient despite the high price. Most of the staff and guests are foreigners, lacking attention to detail. The response is slow and unresponsive. Breakfast is at a minimum level, especially the Japanese dishes are terrible!

    Relaxing Greenery

    The green surroundings are truly soothing. However, the Tasmanian meat was disappointing—unusually tough compared to what you’d expect in Japan. We recommend opting for tender lean meat like in Japan.

    The view is spectacular.

    The view of Tokyo Tower changing with the sunlight from evening to night and morning through the Room window was amazing. The staff who assisted with check-in guided us to the terrace and even took a photo with Tokyo Tower in the background. Their hospitality was excellent. However, it was disappointing that the shower water pressure was weak, and amenities like shampoo in the Room had pumps that dispensed very small amounts, requiring multiple pushes (laughs). If I may add a wish, having a large public bath after using the gym or pool would have been great. That said, they reserved a dinner table right in front of Tokyo Tower for us, and their service was outstanding. Thank you very much!

    There is a lack of variety in amenities.

    I thought the Room and pool lacked a variety of amenities. Other than that, both the restaurant and bar were delicious, and the service was good.

    It was very lovely!

    I stayed for my partner's birthday celebration, and even though it wasn't an anniversary plan, the hotel prepared various surprises for us, which truly moved us... The room was very clean, and the facilities and meals were excellent. We had a room with a clear view of Tokyo Tower, and the scenery was beautiful, making it a wonderful staycation. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much!!
