Tokyo Eastside Hotel Kaikai

My daughter and I stayed for one night. It’s our annual summer tradition to book the indoor camping-style Room.In the past, there was a camping Room for two, but it wasn’t available this time, so we chose a family Room. We were amazed by how spacious it was, and my daughter was thrilled.On the other hand, in the previous camping Room there was a mat inside the tent, and being able to actually sleep in the tent was one of our favorite parts. This time there was no mat in the tent, which was a bit disappointing.Still, thoughtful touches for kids were still there—like a bathroom separate from the sink area that was easy to use, and a Dream Switch. I think it’s a very enjoyable Hotel for parents and children to relax together.

I stayed here for the first time to attend a live event in Chiba and had plans in central Tokyo the next day, so I chose it with transportation convenience in mind, such as being close to the station. The lobby was spacious, and both storing my luggage before check-in and the check-in process were smooth. The Room was spacious, and I was able to relax and recover from my fatigue. It was also nice that there was a capsule coffee machine in the Room. I usually look for a Hotel with separate bath, toilet, and sink areas, but this time I couldn’t find one that met my needs for location and price; although only the toilet was separate here, overall I stayed comfortably. The shower water pressure was easy to use—not too strong or too weak. The hair dryer type also suited me (I prefer one with adjustable settings). I would like to stay here again when I’m in the area.
