A Friend’s Birthday
I stayed here as a birthday gift for a friend. Since it is an older building, there was a slight draft and it felt a bit cold, but the food was delicious and the staff were very pleasant, so it is an Accommodation I would like to stay at again.

It's amazing to have such an accommodation so close!
I was aware of it as a wedding venue, but I only recently learned that it is a Ryokan where you can stay and enjoy meals. It might be the closest Ryokan to my home. The building has a Taisho-era style, allowing you to immerse yourself in a nostalgic atmosphere. You can relax in the lounge with background music, reading a book while sipping whiskey. The Onsen is artificial but compact and pleasant, so I enjoyed multiple visits. The sushi dinner was incredibly delicious, and chatting with the skilled chef made for an enjoyable dining experience. You can stay for up to 22 hours (from 1:00 PM to 11:00 AM the next day). On the day of my visit, I admired Minoh Falls before spending a relaxing time at the Ryokan.

Enjoy the Charm of Minoh
Checked in at 1:00 PM and enjoyed the private onsen (artificial) and stone sauna in the room at a leisurely pace. Afterward, hydrated while admiring the surrounding greenery and enjoyed a foot bath. Felt so relaxed that I lost the desire to go out, instead indulging in complimentary local craft beer in the room. Though an older building, it was clean with charming baths, restrooms, and staircases. Took an evening stroll nearby and enjoyed exploring small paths lined with traditional souvenir shops. The kaiseki dinner was refined and exceptional. Later, savored complimentary "Hibiki" whiskey at the library café before using a coffee mill for aromatic coffee after a long time. This is an accommodation I’d love to visit again for a multiple night stay!
