    Thank you for your hospitality the other day. When I told you I can’t eat raw fish, thank you for preparing alternative dishes. The food looked great and tasted wonderful, and we also enjoyed the complimentary extra dish. The bath warmed me up so well that I stayed warm for a long time afterward. The detox water after the bath was also delicious. It was great to be offered a draft beer as a welcome drink at check-in—it was the perfect refreshing drink after a long drive. I would love to stay with you again.

    As expected, Hanashibuki never disappoints!

    I stayed here once during the COVID period and had a very satisfying night, but this time it was even better. Many of the staff are from Nepal; their Japanese was excellent, and they were kind, courteous, and professional. Both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes—everything was delicious, but there was far too much to finish. In addition, the lounge provided complimentary beer as well as sweets and light snacks. The next morning, there was also freshly baked scones, introduced as “baked by the chef.” Everything reflected true hospitality—I’d rate my satisfaction at 200 points. The building may be older, but it never felt dated; fresh flowers were beautifully arranged throughout the room and the Ryokan. This is truly a hidden gem. Thank you very much.

    Everyone was very ki...

    Everyone was very kind, and we were extremely satisfied. The Room was spacious, and the large open-air bath felt almost too luxurious to use. We would definitely like to stay again. The food was fresh, and the draft beer was delicious as well. The international staff were also very kind and spoke Japanese well; it would have been perfect if we could have spoken a little more slowly. Next time, we will choose a slightly smaller Room, as getting around was difficult for two elderly guests. Thank you very much, everyone.

    I stayed for one nig...

    I stayed for one night and truly enjoyed the delicious seafood, as expected from an accommodation directly managed by a fishing master. I’ve been curious about other accommodations in the Hanashibuki Group, so I’d like to visit different ones as well. I also plan to visit Hanashibuki again during another season.

    A top pick in Boso

    The surrounding environment is wonderful. Right in front of the property is a calm, cozy beach where you can play by the water’s edge, and you can also relax in your Room while enjoying views of the sea and sky. The 100% natural hot-spring open-air bath and the indoor bath with a jacuzzi are very soothing, and the changing area is kept clean. The dining venue with live fish tanks is also comfortable, and the well-presented Japanese cuisine was delicious. The welcome service of mizuyokan and chilled green tea on arrival, along with all-inclusive drinks and light snacks available in the lounge until night, were thoughtful touches that made it easy to unwind and enjoy your time inside the property.

    The hospitality is excellent.

    First of all, I thought the bright smile of the person who greeted us was very natural and nice. The overall size of the property is just right, giving a sense of security as it feels like all guests are well attended to. The room I stayed in was compact, but I had no complaints. The view from the room was very beautiful, especially since the weather was good, and there was nothing obstructing the view, allowing us to fully enjoy the ocean scenery. The meals were satisfying in both quantity and quality. They pleasantly accommodated my requests, and I enjoyed the delicious food. I thought it would be nice to have indoor wear instead of yukata, and I felt that the winter coat could be a bit thicker. The night lounge and morning lounge were perfect for a short relaxation time after meals, and I enjoyed chatting while having coffee. Until now, in Chiba, I had a favorite property in the Kamogawa area, but there wasn't one in the Tateyama area. Finally, I found a place I want to visit again, so I would like to come with my mother and sister. Thanks to the pleasant service from the staff, I had a very enjoyable stay. Thank you very much.

    It was a comfortable Stays.

    I stayed at the property to celebrate my birthday. The hospitality was very pleasant, and I was delighted to be welcomed with a choice of draft beer as a welcome drink, which is great for those who enjoy alcohol. There was an ocean view right in front of the room, and I was lucky enough to see Mount Fuji faintly against the sunset at night. I relaxed for the first time in a while on a comfortable bed and a sofa where I could sit back comfortably. At the dining area, they also served draft beer, along with delicious sashimi and abalone steak... everything was so tasty that I finished it all. Seeing that I wrote down my birthday and address during check-in, the hotel surprised me with a birthday dessert, which touched me deeply. Thank you very much! Delicious meals, pleasant hospitality, onsen. It's a property I'd like to visit again.

    I was able to spend my time leisurely.

    The reason for giving a satisfaction rating of 4 points for the Stays is that the bath space seemed slightly narrow. Other than that, the courteous response of the staff, the seasoning of the food, and the cleanliness of the Room were truly satisfactory. This is different from the evaluation of the Property, but because the Property is located along the coast, my car was covered in salt due to the sea spray and needed washing.

    A truly full-bloom hospitality

    We visited to celebrate the birthdays of my elderly parents. From the initial inquiry to check-out, the attentive and considerate service provided was highly satisfying. I am especially grateful for the care shown to my mother, who felt slightly unwell after taking a bath. The beautifully renovated Room, the view from the window, the welcome drink (I had draft beer, haha), the meals in the morning and evening, and the special birthday plate service were all beyond our expectations. We hope to visit again while my parents are still in good health. Thank you very much.
