    We used two rooms with my son and his wife. Since we were staying with small children, having the toilet and bathroom separate was the deciding factor. It felt like many of both the staff and guests were foreigners. It was disappointing that there were no benefits for Diamond members. The Room was small, but the location was great and made it easy to get around.

    It was disappointing that some of the wallpaper was peeling.

    Right after arriving, the check-in process was hard to understand and the wait time was long. The room was cleaned and tidy, but it was disappointing that some wallpaper near the entrance was peeling. I stayed because I had plans at Grand Front Osaka, but I don’t think I will stay again next time.

    The toilet seat is cold. Last year, when I asked them to raise the temperature, they said the entire building keeps it low from an SDGs perspective... It’s still cold again this year... *sob*

    This Hotel consistently delivers a high level of satisfaction.

    Both storing and returning my luggage before and after check-in were handled very pleasantly and smoothly. Thank you as well for your kind support with the check-in kiosk procedure. This time, I had to leave early in the morning at checkout, so I chose a Plan without meals. However, after completing the check-in process, I realized that I could have added meals during the operation (the screen had already moved on, so I gave up). The Room is always properly cleaned, and it feels good when entering (not at this Hotel, but at another nearby Hotel, there was an unpleasant smell left in the Room and I once had to complain on the spot). One thing I noticed this time—though it’s a bit late to mention—is that the trash bin is small. Many guests probably bring food and drinks into their Room from outside. It doesn’t need to be twice as large, but I would appreciate it if you could replace it with a slightly larger one. I will stay with you again next time as well—thank you in advance.

    Exceptional hospitality

    Is this my sixth stay? For the past 30 years, I have stayed at Hotel New Hankyu for business trips and events, and when I lived in Osaka, I also stayed at Hotel Hankyu International several times. These days, however, Hotel RESPIRE is my favorite. The location is excellent—close to the station—and the breakfast is outstanding. All of your staff truly shine; I consider you a model of hospitality. I look forward to staying with you again soon.

    Excellent location

    Connected to Osaka Station via a second-floor walkway, and just a 2-minute walk to LUCUA. Grand Front is across the street, so you’ll have no trouble finding shopping and dining options. The Hotel escalator also provides direct access to the restaurant area of LINKS UMEDA. One concern is that even though the room is said to be disinfected, the slippers are shared by guests. I don’t like this, so I bring disposable slippers every time. Another issue is an odor in the toilet, which wasn’t there before. I stayed twice this year, and both times there was a smell that suggested the cleaning wasn’t thorough enough.

    First stay since the Hotel New Hankyu.

    I have stayed at Hotel New Hankyu before. Its location advantage felt slightly reduced, and transferring between elevators was inconvenient. The Room did not feel as spacious as the numbers suggest, and there was nowhere to put unused cushions. It was good that I couldn’t hear noise from the next Room, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom has a separate tub and washing area, but a lot of shampoo foam flowed into the tub while washing my hair. The food was delicious. The front desk staff felt focused on moving things along rather than providing attentive service.

    1 night in Osaka

    I found this Accommodation while looking for a one-night stay in Osaka this summer for my family of four. Since I searched around May and made a Reservation early, we were able to stay in a spacious Room for four at a much lower price. The lobby was spacious, the staff were pleasant, and the breakfast selection was plentiful and delicious. I’d like to make this our regular Accommodation in Osaka.

    I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay.

    I stayed here for the first time in two years. The view from the high floor was amazing. With both Osaka Station and Umeda Station nearby, it’s an excellent location for getting around. The staff were also very courteous. I recommend this Accommodation if you’re planning to stay.

    Unfortunately.

    After staying at Gran Respire recently, I stayed at Respire Osaka for the first time in a while and was disappointed. As soon as I entered the Room, it was filled with an ammonia-like smell. I used deodorizing spray, but the odor did not go away and it was very unpleasant. The toilet seat was set to cold, and although mineral water used to be provided in the Room, it has now changed to a system where you bring your own pitcher and fill it in the elevator hall. I was very concerned about how clean the pitcher was. The coffee in the lobby also used to have multiple options, but now there is only one type. It was very noticeable that costs were being cut everywhere. Even Business Hotels these days put effort into amenities, and as others have written, I don’t think this quality is acceptable for this price. The flow for check-in/out and luggage drop-off/pick-up is also poor—people cut in line or block traffic—and it made me sad to see how things have become like this. I liked it because it was convenient, but from next time I will choose another Hotel even if it’s a bit farther away.

    I stayed here for a ...

    I stayed here for a trip to see a Takarazuka performance. There is a supermarket and several restaurants in the same building, and I was very satisfied because I could watch Sky Stage and there was also a bathtub. However, the pillow didn’t suit me and I had trouble falling asleep, so I would appreciate it if you offered a pillow selection service. This is a Hotel I would like to stay at again when visiting Osaka.

    The Room is clean and tidy, but small.

    The Room is very clean and well maintained, but it is small (even with twin beds, it feels almost like a Hollywood twin). Towels included a face towel and bath towel, but it was disappointing that there was no hand towel. Check-in and other procedures are basically done via machines, so it may be difficult if you are not used to them (although staff will quickly approach you and help). The breakfast restaurant is spacious, but the tables are close together and there are many guests, so it felt quite noisy. Access is excellent—it's very close to Osaka Station and Umeda Station—so I think it's a convenient location for going out. It may not be suitable for those who want to relax and take it easy in the Room. It was also a bit inconvenient that the Room trash bin was small.

    Excellent value for money.

    With direct access to Osaka Station, it’s perfect for guests with lots of luggage or those who prefer not to walk much. The view from the Room was also wonderful. Check-in and check-out were done via self-service machines, but the front desk staff assisted us, so we could use them with confidence. In addition to the amenities, there was a free coffee machine in the Room, which made for a pleasant start to the morning. We would love to stay again.

    Overall, it is a good accommodation.

    The location is excellent—ideal for meetings at Grand Front. With a little planning, you can avoid getting wet in the rain. However, the second-floor connecting walkway (not the Hotel’s responsibility) has no roof for some reason, so you may get wet there. A front desk with minimal staff involvement may become the new standard. The same applies to luggage storage: guests can be confused, and even the staff assisting them seem unsure at times. If you view the room rate as reflecting a strong focus on cost-cutting, it makes sense.

    A one-hour check-in is unacceptable.

    I understand that inbound demand is huge, but at check-in the line was almost entirely foreign guests—and it was extremely long. It took nearly an hour to check in. It felt like waiting for a theme park attraction: I had to stand in a long queue, exhausted and holding my luggage. I’ve stayed at many Hotels, but this was unprecedented. Check-in is done via self-service kiosks, yet the line barely moved—perhaps because people weren’t familiar with the process—and even with staff present, they mostly just watched. The location is indeed close to Osaka Station, but you have to walk halfway around a building that houses a massive Yodobashi Camera to reach the entrance. The walkway along the way is unbelievably crowded, which is mentally draining. Once I finally got to the Room, it was comfortable: separate bath and toilet and very clean. But given the price I paid, it wasn’t something to be impressed by. The biggest issue was that during the night I could hear a steady low-frequency thumping near my pillow. It almost sounded like a samba rhythm at first, so I wondered if someone next door was playing music—but listening more closely, it seemed to be coming from outside. It felt like exterior noise was echoing off the building and entering the Room. My rate included breakfast, but after being fed up with the chaos at check-in, I assumed breakfast would be just as crowded and skipped it. I made this Reservation for convenience, but overall it was hardly comfortable at all—so I don’t plan to stay here again.

    Convenient and comfortable

    Excellent Hotel, Great Location

    Excellent location

    Although compact, the Room was very comfortable. Used the underground parking. Departed at 4 AM, and it offered 24-hour in-and-out access. The access from Osaka Station was excellent, making me consider coming by train next time. Would love to stay again.

    A Hotel with the Best Location for a Comfortable Stay

    Stayed alone to join the department store's New Year sale. The Room is indeed compact, but the separate bath, toilet, and sink were convenient and spacious enough for one person. The bath with a washing area was especially appreciated during the cold season. Even on a lower floor (16th floor), the north-facing Room had a great view and was relaxing. It was a no-meal Plan, but with Links on the lower floors offering supermarkets, convenience stores, and restaurants, it was very convenient. I would like to stay here again when visiting Umeda. One suggestion: it would be helpful if there were signs indicating where the refrigerator is located as it was hard to find. Thank you for your hospitality!

    One-night stay

    Stayed in a Triple Room. The location is good, but the entrance is hard to find. Many international guests with large luggage make the elevator to the entrance busy during check-in and check-out times. The room is clean but small, essentially a Twin Room converted into a Triple Room. Breakfast is a standard Hotel buffet with reasonable taste, variety, and price balance. As for service? It's self-service, so nothing notable there. If you're just looking for a place to stay, it's not bad; more suitable for business or errands rather than leisure travel.

    The cleanliness was questionable.

    The level of cleanliness seemed limited to only visible areas like bed-making. Both chairs at the table by the window had dried, stuck-on rice grains of unknown origin, and there were also some on the nearby carpet. It made me wonder if vacuuming was skipped. The showerhead in the bathroom felt sticky, and I didn’t want to touch it without cleaning it first. After mentioning this to the front desk the next day, things were cleaned up better, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning initially. However, dust or dirt remained on the shelves in the sink area—suggesting that unnoticed spots are left as is. It makes me wonder if anyone checks these details. When I stayed here in July, I didn’t notice such issues as much...

    It was new and comfo...

    It was new and comfortable. The self-check-in process was not crowded, and the staff kindly explained when asked. The 12:00 check-out time allowed for a relaxed stay, which was nice. However, to be honest, the price for a No Meals Included stay felt quite high, though it might be understandable given the timing before the end of the Expo.

    Too crowded

    Overcrowded with inbound tourists, the service level has dropped to the lowest standard, yet the accommodation cost is double, which is disappointing. I have stayed here over 30 times since its opening, but I will choose another hotel in the future.

    Consistently clean and comfortable.

    I stayed here for the first time in a while. It is safe, secure, and comfortable to stay. One suggestion: I couldn't choose cotton swabs and had to request them individually at the front desk. I would appreciate it if they could be added to the amenity corner.

    The Room is compact.

    The Room was compact but equipped with an air purifier and a TV with a YouTube app. I was able to stay at a lower price using IKYU Points, which made me somewhat satisfied.

    It was excellent.

    I have stayed several times, and it is convenient, clean, and relaxing. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Skincare sets like lotion were not provided in the Room but were given upon request from the Hotel staff. It would be appreciated if sets for the number of guests could be placed in the Room. I would love to stay again.
