    About Check-in Procedures

    I have stayed here several times before, but this time I had an unpleasant experience, so I decided to write a Review. Because it was crowded, I used the self check-in machine and it gave an error twice. The second time, the credit card payment for the Accommodation Tax failed and I could not check in. If credit cards are prone to errors, I think you should inform guests in advance. After the second error, a staff member casually told me to get back in line at the front desk. Only after I asked whether paying the Accommodation Tax later would be acceptable did they say it was fine. However, their response—trying to make me line up again without any consideration for my schedule—made me lose trust.

    I was satisfied.

    The bathroom and toilet were separate, and the bath area was spacious and comfortable. I also liked that it had a ReFa shower head. For the price, the Room was more than spacious enough for one person. The bed was very comfortable, and I was satisfied overall. However, the following points may bother some guests: * The building faces Midosuji, and at night there are sometimes motorcycles passing by, so you may occasionally hear them. (It seems earplugs are available at the front desk.) It didn’t bother me much. * There was some distance between the sink and the mirror, which made it difficult to do makeup. I thought a stand mirror for makeup would be helpful. Even with these points in mind, this is a Hotel I would like to stay at again next time.

    Comfortable

    It’s a new Hotel, and I had a very comfortable stay. The sofa in the Room was very spacious, with plenty of space even for two people to sit. The bathroom and washbasin area were also functional, with thoughtful features that made it easy to keep things organized. There were bath salts as well, which smelled great and made the bath very relaxing. Since the Room was on the 15th floor, I wasn’t bothered by outside noise and was able to rest well.

    A Hotel Filled with Love for Osaka

    (My wife made the Reservation and posted this review.) This was our first stay, and it was the most satisfying among the Hotels we’ve used recently. Various Osaka-themed artworks are displayed in the lobby, corridors, and near the elevators on the guestroom floors, and you can really feel the love for Osaka. The lighting and sofas are very stylish too! The room has a quite unique layout: as you enter, the toilet is immediately on the left; next to it is a shelf with a refrigerator and glasses; then the sink; and the bathroom is beside the bed. Instead of a changing area, you lower a roller screen for privacy, but it was a bit inconvenient that we had to bring over a chair to place our clothes. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable, and we slept well. For breakfast, it was disappointing not to find any “konamon” in the Osaka gourmet section, but there was a wide variety of options and everything was delicious—I ended up eating too much. With Accommodation prices rising overall, this Hotel felt reasonably priced for its location and comfort. We’d definitely like to stay again. Next time, I’d like to join the eco-friendly Green Coin program that we couldn’t participate in this time.

    I’ll stay here again.

    This was my stay here again. It seems my previous request for a floor with the coin laundry has been noted, and they arranged it that way this time as well, which made me very happy. It was very convenient. The bathroom is separate from the toilet, so I could relax in the bath, and it was nice that bath salts were provided too. As the earplug loan information in the Room mentioned, you can hear some of the noise from Midosuji, but I always bring my own earplugs for sleeping, so it wasn’t a problem at all. I’d like to stay here again next time I visit Osaka.

    Great.

    The Hotel was conveniently located and had a great atmosphere. Just one thing: the front desk is on the 16th floor while the guest rooms are on lower floors, so it felt inconvenient having to go up to the 16th floor every time I went out.

    I would like to stay here again.

    First time staying here. The entrance requires a small detour, but it’s close to the station and easy to access. The Facility is very clean, and the Room has a separate vanity sink; the bath has a separate washing area; the toilet is spacious; and the Room is larger and more comfortable than other Hotels in the same price range. Blinds are installed for privacy after bathing, and there are luggage stands and a hanging rack, making it easy to organize your belongings. The layout efficiently maximizes space, making it extremely comfortable. Breakfast offered many options and was very delicious. I felt I got more than my money’s worth and would like to stay again. 1) I appreciated the early 2:00 p.m. check-in, but they didn’t manage the waiting line well—staff only said, “Please wait as someone arrived before you,” so it was unclear in what order guests would be called. It worked out because I gave my name, but many people who arrived later simply lined up for check-in as well, which seemed confusing. It would have been better if they had handed out numbered tickets in order of arrival. 2) Due to the building layout, the lobby is on the 16th floor and Rooms are on lower floors. For security reasons, there is one elevator up to the lobby and a separate elevator for accessing Rooms; when going out, instead of going down directly from your Room you have to go Room → up to the front desk → transfer to another elevator → down to the first floor, which felt inconvenient.

    It was unusually lively, but

    I’ve stayed here several times. It’s close to Hommachi Station, and I like it because the breakfast is delicious. This time, unusually, I could hear laughter and voices from the hallway late at night, which bothered me a little, but it’s usually so quiet you wouldn’t think it’s on Midosuji Avenue. The breakfast rice is excellent and there are plenty of side dishes, but I’d be even happier if there were umeboshi!

    A Hotel with Excellent Services

    This was my second stay, and this Hotel offers a wide range of excellent services. Due to my schedule, the staff kindly arranged an earlier Room cleaning and gladly accommodated requests for amenities such as an ice pillow. One thing, though: the Room air-conditioning had many settings and supported both Japanese and English, but it seemed to be left in a strange configuration by the previous guest. However, when I asked the staff, they came to the Room and fixed the settings for me. As a smoker, I also appreciated that both smoking Rooms were kept very clean. Next time, I haven’t tried breakfast yet, so I’d like to give it a try.

    The Room is spacious and clean.

    Conveniently located near Honmachi Subway Station and adjacent to the Minamimido Temple, the temple can be clearly seen when looking down from the Room window. We stayed with friends during the peak summer heat to enjoy a relaxing Hotel stay without going out for meals. We had lunch at the Hotel restaurant “Piknika,” dinner at “Chikuyotei,” and breakfast at “Piknika.” The buffet at “Piknika” was delicious—I ate too much and felt uncomfortably full. The Hotel was still quite new, spacious, and very clean. The bathroom and toilet were separate, so I could take a long, relaxing bath and recover from fatigue. The staff were attentive, and the service was pleasant. Overall, I would give it a high rating.

    1) Check-in takes far too long. 2) The Room air conditioner is difficult to use (the fan speed cannot be adjusted). 3) There are too many light switches. 4) I couldn’t find a charger in the Room. 5) The shampoo and body soap feel low-quality. 6) The Japanese breakfast options feel low-quality. I would like freshly made omelets. The bread selection also feels limited and low-quality. 7) The coffee tastes bad. 8) The soup is not very good. The curry should be beef curry instead. There was no melon among the fruit, and the orange didn’t taste good either.

    Soundproofing is truly disappointing.

    This was my second stay. The price range and the Room cleanliness were both excellent. The only disappointment was the soundproofing. I could hear the neighboring Room singing “Happy Birthday” at 2:00 a.m., and children arguing from 7:00 a.m. After an exhausting business trip, I couldn’t get any sleep.

    A comfortable Hotel conveniently located near the station.

    Thank you as always. It was a comfortable Hotel when I stayed last year, so I chose it again this year. The Hotel is close to the station, clean, and all the staff were kind. Dinner at Chikuyotei was also very delicious. It was a Multiple Night Stay, and although I requested housekeeping, they gladly accommodated my request. This is a Hotel I would like to continue using in the future.

    The staff were exceptionally professional—on par with a five-star Hotel. The cleaning was flawless, the location was excellent, and the price felt almost too low for what we received. While many Hotels are raising Accommodation Fees to cater to international guests, this Hotel truly prioritizes hospitality and service. Thank you very much.

    It’s been a while since my last stay.

    I stayed here several times a few years ago, and this time I returned after quite a while. The Room was spacious, and the bathroom shower head was a ReFa, which made it very comfortable. While being mindful of the environment, the amenities were still well stocked, and they also arranged various additional items for me upon request. If possible, I would be happy if a ReFa straightening iron could be added to the available items. Breakfast was delicious as well. Personally, great fruit at the breakfast buffet is a big plus for me, and I was very satisfied with both the variety and freshness. I would love to stay again if I have the opportunity.

    A Room with a slightly unusual layout, and overall the Review met expectations.

    I was considering a Hotel I’d had my eye on for a while as a treat stay, and chose this one because it felt like an easy way to enjoy a little luxury. It’s an area of Honmachi I don’t usually walk around much, so I made lots of new discoveries. The Room layout—such as the bath and changing area, the placement of the sink, fridge, and kettle, and the toilet door opening inward (close to the entrance door)—was different from a typical Hotel. Some parts were very convenient, while others took a bit of getting used to. That said, the Room felt spacious enough, and the pajama fabric with front buttons was comfortable. Overall, I had a pleasant stay. Amenities included cleansing products that women will appreciate. The lobby is on the 16th floor and the restaurant with great views is on the 17th floor, so I booked breakfast—but being assigned a Room on the 5th floor was a bit disappointing. It may have been unavoidable since it was close to the lowest rate that day and my check-in ended up quite late. Still, from the 17th-floor restaurant it felt like there was another building right in front of you. The view from my Room reminded me of what you might see at Hotels around Karasuma in Kyoto. Breakfast was arranged mainly around Western dishes; Japanese items were along the back wall so I had to look for them. Even so, there was an excellent selection with most things you’d hope for. I especially enjoyed the mixed juice and corn potage soup—they were truly Hotel quality. There were also Japanese options and fruit selections, which made it enjoyable. I noticed coffee available near the entrance to take back to your Room when leaving, but from inside the restaurant I wasn’t sure where it was and almost walked past it thinking I might have been mistaken. If it were placed inside the restaurant as well, guests could leave their seats more quickly. If that spot is intended for serving morning coffee during busy waiting times too, then that location makes sense. At one point there seemed to be almost more staff than guests; I wanted to relax until departure in the morning but felt slightly self-conscious about being watched. The staff were efficient and promptly cleared tables. Overall, this is a well-located Hotel—compact yet stylish rather than just another Business Hotel—and one that clearly deserves repeat stays.

    The location is excellent, and we were completely satisfied with the building and interior. We also appreciated that the bathroom has a separate washing area and is not a unit bath. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, as there were limited options for food and drinks, and not many local specialties.

    I ended up staying here on short notice, and the Room was very clean, so I had a comfortable stay! The amenities were well stocked, which was very convenient! I could watch YouTube and Netflix on the Room TV, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I’d love to stay again!

    A stylish and convenient Hotel

    Choosing this Hotel in Osaka, a city I wasn’t very familiar with, was the right decision! It was great that we could walk to Shinsaibashi and Namba, and I also liked the Room lighting and roller blinds. For a Hotel in the city center, it was also nice to have the bath and toilet separated. We had a Multiple Night Stay, and they assigned us a Room close to the area with the microwave, vending machines, and ice maker, which was very convenient and helpful! I’d love to stay here again when I visit Osaka.

    It was a comfortable stay.

    I booked a Japanese Twin room. The bathroom and toilet were separate, so I could relax comfortably like at home. The breakfast buffet also had Osaka-style dishes, which was great. It’s conveniently located just steps from the station, and the value for money is excellent.

    It was a convenient and easy-to-use Hotel with great access.

    I stayed here on a business trip. Although the Hotel faces a main road, my Room was on a high floor, so I wasn’t bothered by noise at all. Located in the heart of Osaka and just a short walk from Hommachi, it offers excellent access to anywhere in the city. With check-in from 2:00 PM, it was convenient for business travel—I could drop off my work luggage and head out or adjust my schedule easily. The Room was clean and well stocked with amenities (including a thick body towel), and there were thoughtful design touches even in small details like the buttons on the loungewear. It felt like a well-appointed city Hotel rather than a typical Business Hotel. Thank you for your hospitality.

    The air conditioning isn’t working well.

    While the high ceilings feel pleasant, the air conditioning is not very effective. Also, the jacuzzi area had a very loud ventilation fan that was distracting. The amenities are at a Business Hotel level, so you should not expect a luxurious feel. It may be suitable for hosting a party, making good use of the Room’s spaciousness. The jacuzzi was enjoyable both in the morning and in the evening.

    Third stay

    This was my third stay, and due to work I stayed for two nights. The shower chair I had requested for the bathroom at the time of Reservation was prepared, and it was very helpful. The Room layout was the reverse of the one in February, which felt refreshingly different. A small detail, but since the toilet light used a motion sensor, I didn’t have to search for a wall switch in the dark at night—just opening the door turned on the light, which was very convenient. Also, while many hotels provide tissue paper that is about half the size of standard retail tissues, yours were full-size, so there was no need to unfold them (though they were single-ply rather than double-ply). As for towel softness, this may come down to personal preference, but I would be happier if they were a bit softer. Since I wear contact lenses, having a tabletop magnifying mirror would also be helpful—especially for female guests. There is also an area with a washing machine, iron, and trouser pressers, making it suitable even for longer stays. It’s a wonderful Hotel, so I’ll be staying again in May. Thank you!

    We had a very comfortable stay.

    I have stayed here several times, and once again I had a very comfortable stay. The breakfast in particular is very delicious. The Room was also spacious, and I was able to relax and enjoy my time. The only negative point is that one staff member seemed to treat international guests and Japanese guests differently. This should be improved.

    I’d like to stay here again.

    As soon as I entered the Room, the kaleidoscope lighting was so beautiful that it instantly lifted my mood. When I opened the curtains, I had an amazing view of Midosuji right below. It might be because it had been a while since my last trip, but this Hotel stay was truly wonderful. I’m glad I chose this Hotel, and I’d love to stay again during the illumination season.
