  Transportation enthusiast

  As a lifelong train enthusiast, I never get tired of it. Watching Shinkansen trains come and go from the bed through the window is a great feeling. When staying at this Hotel, be sure to book a Room on the track side. Make friends with Western guests in the executive room. The Room itself isn’t very impressive, so start conversations and enjoy chatting with international guests. Breakfast is just so-so—please keep working on it. It’s hard to say whether JPY 50,000 is expensive or fair; the real issue is breakfast. The restaurant waitstaff were all kind—4 stars plus.

  The amenities are disappointing.

  I have been using it frequently, but since around last year, possibly due to SDGs initiatives, the amenities have become less luxurious. It might appeal to environmentally conscious individuals, but for regular guests, it just feels like a downgrade in the Hotel's quality.
