    Choosing this Hotel ...

    Choosing this Hotel for my first solo trip to Hakone was the right decision. There are relaxing spaces throughout the spacious grounds, and the all-inclusive plan is also very appealing. Getting around inside the Hotel involves stairs and covers a wide area—perfect for getting some exercise! I’ve made another Reservation, so I look forward to staying again.

    The best one-night, two-day stay!

    The Facility is well equipped, and you can spend your time freely however you like—I had an amazing stay! Relaxing in the footbath in a cute yukata Very satisfied with the large public bath I also loved the cake and drinks corner and the book corner. I definitely want to come again—next time with friends.

    The Onsen had both h...

    The Onsen had both hot and lukewarm baths, and it was very relaxing. The library also had manga, and the drinks included alcohol, which was great. We had both dinner and breakfast, but there was almost nothing we found tasty, which was disappointing. Only the main dish at dinner and the French fries were delicious.

    Overall, it was great!

    The courtyard was wonderful, and the dining and other services were excellent. There were no particular complaints—it was a fantastic Accommodation!

    Disappointed... Won't be returning!

    Wanted to visit the Van Gogh exhibition and made a last-minute reservation. The accommodations I initially wanted were fully booked, so I reserved this one instead. The room's shower was newly renovated, which was nice. Most guests at this accommodation seemed to be families with small children or casual inbound travelers. Families with kids might enjoy the lounge and drink corner. However, the room itself had almost nothing—no kettle, no tea set, no tea leaves, not even toilet slippers (which means some guests may walk barefoot from the toilet onto the tatami or bed!). The drink corner often lacked snacks during certain times and sometimes turned into a gathering spot for inbound guests drinking alcohol with food bought from convenience stores. While noise in rooms can be bothersome, having shared spaces occupied like that is also unpleasant. Additionally, there were instances of poor hygiene—such as an inbound guest dipping their hand into Mitarashi dango sauce, licking their fingers, and then putting their hand back into the sauce. I avoided using the public bath because it seemed small and I didn’t want to share it with poorly mannered inbound guests or children. The building is divided into sections requiring stairs in some areas; my room also had a significant step at the entrance of the toilet. Elderly guests should confirm these details before reserving a room here.

    It was very comforta...

    It was very comfortable. The bed on the tatami in the Room was cozy. Dinner was all-inclusive, including alcohol, and it was great that the main dishes could be ordered separately from the buffet. For breakfast as well, being guided to a seat was a nice touch. The flat walk from Gora Station is very convenient. If you're going to Hakone, this might be the best choice!

    This was our first time staying here. The Room was very clean and comfortable, and the meals were delicious, which made my family very happy.

    Two Housewives' Trip

    Dining The steamed abalone served at dinner, along with pike conger and summer vegetables, looked beautiful. However, the taste was disappointing as it had a fishy smell. On the other hand, the buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, all of which were delicious. Bath Although there is no large public bath facing outside, the facilities were clean and included a sauna and a hot bath. There are no windows in the bathing area. Amenities A kettle is available in the hallway, but there is no tea set provided in the room. A head cap would have been appreciated. Towels can be exchanged at reception easily and promptly when needed. Alcoholic beverages are served during meals and also in the lounge at night, allowing guests to enjoy their time pleasantly. Staff The staff provided excellent service both at reception and over calls. Their attentiveness ensured a comfortable stay until the very end—thank you!

    Comfortable

    We chose this accommodation based on the reviews, and our experience was truly wonderful. The staff's smiles and hospitality were exceptional. The entire facility, including the room, bath, and dining area, was spotless with no concerns at all. We also enjoyed relaxing in the lounge and footbath, making our stay incredibly comfortable. We would love to stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality!

    Satisfied.

    I read the reviews and didn't have high expectations for the meals, but I was very satisfied in the end! With a meal reservation at 5:30, perhaps because we were the first ones, the freshly fried tempura and sea bream sashimi were delicious. Many properties have disappointing white rice, but it was glossy and tasty here. The library lounge is narrower than in the photos, but we were able to relax. At night, there were many people, but the sense of distance was comfortable. Drinks and desserts were free, and we enjoyed plenty. The children liked it too. It would have been even better if there was an open-air bath, so I deducted one star. Prices are high everywhere, so I think this is to be expected. IKYU was the cheapest.

    For a child's birthday trip

    In September, we stayed here for my daughter's birthday trip. It was a visit to an inn we had been looking forward to for a long time. Excited with my daughter, we passed through the approach and entered the entrance. The private bath and the large public bath were at just the right temperature, and we were able to relieve our daily fatigue. The charm of this inn is the well-stocked library lounge with books, drinks, and desserts, the kids' space where children can play, the courtyard, and the footbath. My daughter loved the kids' space and went there many times, while I enjoyed the library lounge, repeatedly refilling the soup from the drink server, and relishing the reading and the atmosphere. The meals were also very delicious. Both my daughter and I had a fulfilling time. My daughter has requested a revisit, so we plan to come again when the timing is right. Thank you very much for taking care of us.
