    Accommodation after USJ

    We stayed here after visiting USJ for his birthday. The lobby was gorgeous and felt truly luxurious—on par with a top-class Hotel. Thank you for preparing a Room with a panoramic view and for the handwritten message card. We had pistachio gelato at the café & bar on the first floor, and it was delicious—I wished we had dinner there as well. The cakes also looked great. The Room was clean. Perhaps because we were on a higher floor, the air conditioning didn’t cool very well, but I guess that can’t be helped. The spa was bright and beautiful with a white theme, but when I went in the morning, black mold on the walls stood out. Is that just inevitable over time? The hot water and floors were clean, and the vanity area was well organized, so I could get ready there comfortably. And then the popular breakfast buffet—we had it on the 3rd floor. We went at 8:30 and waited about 15 minutes to get in. The seafood rice bowl was so good I went back for seconds. There was a wide variety of dishes and we were very satisfied. I’m glad we chose this Accommodation for our anniversary stay. Access to USJ is excellent—Sakurajima Station is right in front of you, and it’s just one stop away. Recommended for those who don’t like the noisy USJ-area Hotels and want to stay somewhere calm. There is parking available, but we were told that parking before 10:00 would be more expensive, so we parked at a nearby Times lot instead—it was only 3,250 yen from 8:00 until 11:00 the next morning, which was very affordable. We parked first in the morning, left our luggage at the Hotel, then headed to USJ—this Plan worked perfectly. Next time we go to USJ, I’d love to stay at Liber Hotel again!

    The night view is amazing!

    The night view is a must when talking about this Hotel! If you stay in a river-view Room, you can clearly see the beautiful lights of the Ferris wheel in front of Kaiyukan, along with the illuminated bridge—it’s truly enjoyable. From the terrace next to the spa exit, you can also enjoy the view easily with no seating charge. The in-room amenities included an herb-infused relaxation sheet (maybe for a limited time?), which felt great on tired feet.

    We were very satisfied.

    I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days starting on 8/19. The number of guests changed every day, so we had to move Rooms. Each time, you carried our luggage to the next Room and arranged for us to check in earlier than the scheduled time, which was very helpful. The MUJI room for four people was truly wonderful. The three-person Room was also spacious and had a sofa, so we could relax comfortably. Thank you very much for all your help. It was a very enjoyable Hotel stay. I would like to stay again.     The large public bath was excellent.

    I made a Reservation to visit Universal Studios Japan. It’s one stop from Universal City, but the location was very convenient—right outside Sakurajima Station. The Room facilities and amenities were more than sufficient. The large public bath had several types of baths, which helped relieve tired feet. I also used the restaurant for breakfast; there was a great variety and I ended up eating too much. Next time, I’d like to try the rice balls. I had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much.

    Great value on cheaper days

    I stayed on a Saturday during the summer holidays, so the Plan was pricey, but I chose it for the location—right in front of the station and very close to the event venue (Zepp). The lobby is huge and luxurious, but it was crowded with inbound tourists and didn’t feel relaxing. However, when I arrived 15 minutes before the 14:00 check-in time, I was told that my reserved Standard Room was still being cleaned, but that I could upgrade to a Superior Room for an additional 500 yen and enter right away. That felt like a lucky break (the price difference would have been much higher if booked normally). Lunch at the first-floor café (steak rice bowl) was delicious and very satisfying. The Superior Room bathroom had a separate toilet and a washing area, which was comfortable, but there was no shower cap in the Room, which was inconvenient. (I asked at the front desk during check-in and received one before going up.) Also, there was a sewer-like smell in the toilet; I wish they had provided an air freshener. Since there is no sink inside the toilet room, you have to touch the doorknob with unwashed hands afterward, which felt unhygienic. The large public bath offered unlimited towels, which I appreciated. There were plenty of baths and showers, and both the sauna and carbonated bath were great. However, since the women’s open-air bath is enclosed by walls, you cannot enjoy any view like in the Hotel’s promotional photos. Also, as the provided shampoo products have quite strong scents, those who are sensitive may want to bring their own. From the post-bath terrace area of this large public bath facility, I could see an illuminated Ferris wheel and bridge—it was beautiful. The shop had limited selection, but I was able to buy reasonably priced Kansai souvenirs. Check-in/check-out times were set generously as well; on cheaper dates it seems like excellent value. (Depending on dates—even for the same Room—the price appears to vary by about seven times.)

    I stayed here at the end of the Obon holidays. It’s usually probably quite busy, so I made a Reservation for a time when it would be less crowded. This time, it was nice and quiet.

    Perfect for visiting Universal Studios!

    Since we had a Reservation for four people, we took a taxi to and from Universal Studios Japan. The return trip cost 800 yen, but the trip there cost 1,200 yen because it was a detour from in front of the Hotel. We should have crossed the road before getting in a taxi. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, and it was great that you could even have steak in the morning! The cake was delicious! The room was spacious and clean. However, the large public bath I was most looking forward to was a bit disappointing. There was no view at all. Based on the Hotel photos, I thought we would be able to enjoy the night view, so I was shocked. It’s very convenient for visiting Universal Studios Japan—the train is also close—so I think it’s a very good Hotel. The staff member who answered the phone when I called with questions was also very pleasant.

    A very lovely Hotel

    I stayed here for a visit to Universal Studios Japan. The Hotel was very clean, and the Room was extremely comfortable. The Hotel staff were also very courteous and helpful, and I felt the hospitality was excellent. I had breakfast, and there was a wide variety of options—everything was delicious and it made for a great start to the day. The Onsen was spacious, with pleasantly soothing water. Access to USJ is also convenient: you can walk there, or take the Osaka Loop Line from the station right in front of the Hotel—it's just one stop away, so it’s easy even when you’re tired.

    It was very comfortable.

    I stayed here with friends from overseas, and the staff were very welcoming. The night view by the sea was beautiful and relaxing. The breakfast offered a great variety, and we were both very satisfied. This is a Hotel I would like to stay at again if I have the chance.

    Excellent value for money.

    I’ve stayed at many Hotels, but it’s rare to find one that offers this level of satisfaction at this price! The room cleanliness, the quality of the spa water, and the delicious food—everything exceeded expectations for the cost. It’s well worth staying not only for visiting Universal Studios, but also just for a Hotel stay. I’d like to make this my go-to Hotel for future stays.

    It has been one month since I changed jobs.

    As a reward for making it through my first month after changing jobs, I chose a nearby place where I could relax. After having fun at Universal Studios, I remembered that the Hotel I stayed at with my grandchildren before had an Onsen, so I chose it. I was able to spend a very relaxing time. I’d like to go again with my grandchildren.

    Although the Hotel had many positive Reviews,

    I stayed here with high expectations for the views, spa, and buffet. In fact, the views from the Room, spa, and buffet venue were excellent, and the open, expansive scenery left a strong impression. However, I was quite disappointed with the air conditioning in the Room. In the first Room I was shown to, I noticed black grime on the air vent; when I lightly touched it with a tissue, it came off black. Since this is where air is blown out, I became concerned about hygiene and contacted the front desk. They did accommodate a Room change. However, in the new Room as well—though not as bad as before—there was similar black grime on the vent that also transferred when wiped. Personally, repeatedly requesting changes felt uncomfortable, so I ended up staying in that Room. Overall, the food was reasonably good. There were enjoyable options such as appetizers, seafood and meat dishes, and a variety of desserts. That said, if asked whether I would come again specifically for this meal experience alone, it did not leave me with such a strong impression. As for the spa, it had great views and was generally pleasant. Still, seeing similar grime on two consecutive Rooms’ air vents left me very uneasy about how thoroughly room air-conditioning units are cleaned and inspected. Because this directly affects the air in an Accommodation room during a stay, I would like to see improvement in this area. This Hotel has many very positive Reviews overall; however my satisfaction did not reach what I had expected.

    MUJI Room

    The Room was spacious and came with MUJI amenities, making our stay extremely satisfying. Both my nephew and niece were thrilled and even competed over the beds. There was also an Onsen, and it was a very satisfying stay for both adults and children.

    I was satisfied again on my second stay.

    The Onsen was wonderfully relaxing while taking in the open, scenic views, and the breakfast buffet offered an excellent selection including steak, seafood rice bowls, and meat soup. The Room also had a smart TV, making it perfect for a staycation. It was amazing!

    Great value for money, with excellent Facilities—especially the spa.

    I stayed one night the day before visiting Universal Studios. Universal Studios was visible from my Room, which made me excited even before the visit. I checked in late, but I was able to work on my PC at the desk in the Room and then head to the spa. The spa was much larger than expected—so well-equipped that I felt like I could stay for hours. It was amazing. The next morning, breakfast happened to coincide with a group of international school trip students, so it was quite crowded and I had to weave through people to get food, which kept it from being completely satisfying. Still, it was a generous breakfast—miso soup with plenty of ingredients and onigiri made fresh on the spot. On the day we went to Universal Studios it rained and my shoes got soaked, but then I remembered that the Room had a shoe dryer provided. I really appreciated that thoughtful touch (I didn’t use it since we only stayed the night before, but I wish we had stayed that night too). The front desk staff were very kind—they looked up answers with me when I asked about tickets and even checked with other staff members. Next time I visit Universal Studios, I’d like to stay for two nights: both the night before and the day of!

    The spa is perfect after a day at USJ.

    We stayed for two nights to visit USJ with our child. On the first day, we asked the concierge how to get to the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, and they kindly shared lots of helpful information, which was a great help. The hospitality was outstanding. Even after a tiring day at USJ, the clean and spacious spa helped us relax and recover. This time we stayed in a MUJI Room, which was well equipped with a washing machine and tableware, making our time in the Room even more enjoyable. Breakfast offered an excellent variety, and we were very satisfied to start the day with such a luxurious meal. We also loved having so many kinds of salad vegetables—an especially nice touch. This has become one of our favorite Hotels, and we would definitely like to stay again when traveling to Osaka.

    It was my first stay in a while. It was a fun time that made me feel like I was traveling. Since many guests come to visit USJ, it’s unfortunate that the bath can get crowded when bathing times overlap.

    A special Hotel stay perfect for an anniversary trip

    We originally planned to stay at a Hotel near Universal City Station, but we switched to this one after hearing great reviews about the breakfast buffet and the Onsen. This trip was for our wedding anniversary, and since it was during the rainy season, there was a relatively good-value Plan available—so we decided to book the luxury floor. The luxury floor felt truly special compared with a standard stay, with perks such as access to an exclusive lounge, priority seating at breakfast, late check-out, and use of a private terrace. It was perfect for an anniversary trip. The lounge offered Hotel-made sweets and even some unique Italian juices, and we ended up using it many times—after check-in and again when taking breaks after bathing. The Onsen water had a slightly silky feel, and afterward my skin felt smooth and soft. It was ideal for soothing tired legs after walking around the theme park all day, and it was one of the biggest reasons I’m glad we chose this Hotel. Our Plan included two breakfasts, but by paying the difference we were able to switch part of it to dinner. The dinner buffet lived up to its reputation with an excellent selection and great flavors—we were very satisfied. Breakfast was also relaxing and enjoyable, which made our stay even more rewarding. The Room was clean, with well-stocked amenities and facilities that made our stay comfortable. At night, we brought in local Osaka favorites like takoyaki and enjoyed them on the terrace included as a luxury-floor benefit while taking in the night view. Having a drink while enjoying the scenery became a wonderful memory. The only downside was that lounge hours were limited to 9:00–21:00. If it stayed open later into the evening, our satisfaction would have been even higher. Aside from that, everything exceeded expectations—this is a Hotel I’m truly glad we chose for our anniversary trip.

    Great value!

    This was my first time staying somewhere other than Universal City. I wasn’t sure how it would be, but it’s close—just one stop away! If you’re an adult and it’s not extremely hot, you can even walk. The Hotel is clean, spacious, and feels open and airy. I was happy with the large public bath as well, though women may want to bring their usual toiletries such as shampoo and skincare items. The extra bed was also comfortably firm. For convenience stores, the Lawson nearby can run out of items late at night, but the Seven-Eleven next door still had some things available. At this price for being just one stop away, I’d stay again. Thank you!

    Low season in June

    I appreciated that Accommodation costs were lower after the Expo. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were pleasant. The Room was spacious, and the twin Room was very convenient. Getting to the large public bath on the 3rd floor was easy, and I enjoyed it twice—at night and in the morning. To get to USJ the next morning, I rode one stop. It’s not too far to walk, but considering how much you walk around the theme park, I wished it were even closer. USJ is so close that I almost wished there were another entrance—I could even enjoy looking at the park at night from the day before. It’s also not far from Shin-Osaka Station—excellent access. The building right in front of the ticket gates is the Hotel, so you’re unlikely to get lost!

    A Hotel You'll Want to Visit Soon

    We always stay here as a family, and we usually make a Reservation for the “Bright” Room. We don’t go to USJ; it’s simply a Hotel our family feels like returning to from time to time. The Room is spacious and relaxing, with views of boats on the Ajigawa River, a natural Onsen (with a slightly silky feel), and meals that are more than satisfying. We think it’s well worth it as a Hotel where you can truly unwind in Osaka City.

    It was so good that I had to leave a review. 1 The Onsen was excellent. 2 The fourth room was excellent. 3 For this price range, the breakfast quality was outstanding. 4 Great amenities and facilities. If you’re unsure where to stay for USJ, it’s less than 1,000 yen by taxi from the security gate side (it’s so close that some drivers may be unhappy), and I don’t think you’ll regret it.

    Thank you for your continued support. This time, I failed to confirm the details at the time of Reservation, so it was my mistake. The Room was smaller than the one I usually stay in, and it had only a shower with no bathtub, which was disappointing. The other two Rooms had bathtubs, so that would have been better. Since I selected a 5:00 PM check-in on the IKYU site without choosing a specific Room type, I will be more careful next time. I purchased a USJ annual pass, so from now on I will choose Hotels near USJ more carefully.

    A Spectacular Morning Buffet

    I stayed at this Accommodation for the highly praised morning buffet mentioned in other Reviews, and the natural Onsen was also wonderful. The amenities were well prepared, and there was a relaxing space as well, so I was very satisfied. Of course, the morning buffet exceeded my expectations with its variety and delicious food—I would definitely like to visit again!

    The facilities and amenities were great!

    Stayed in a Standard Twin. The Room isn’t large, but it’s comfortable. No particular complaints about the amenities. What really appealed to me was the spa: it’s an Onsen with indoor and open-air baths, plus both dry and mist saunas. The locker room is spacious, and there’s also a gym. I think most guests are visiting USJ, but this time my main goal was to relax, so I spent my time in the Hotel. The food was good as well, and overall it felt very well balanced. One request: the morning spa hours—at least please keep it open until the 11:00 checkout time. I planned to go after breakfast, but it had already closed. The location is also excellent—just exit the JR station and cross the road. Next time, I’d like to bring my grandchild along.

    I stayed here on a recommendation from an acquaintance. The Hotel was very clean, from the exterior to the lobby and Room, and I felt it was well maintained. The SPA that was especially recommended to me was truly great. I could check how crowded it was from my Room, so I went after taking a look. It was also convenient that I could go in loungewear and slippers from my Room. It was a shame I couldn’t go out onto the terrace because it was raining. This may be due to the design, but the electrical outlets in the Room were hard to find, and I would have appreciated an explanation at check-in or similar. I came by car, and it would have been nice if the parking fee could be covered by one overnight rate until around 3:00 PM the next day if possible. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would like to stay again.
