    The meals were delicious.

    Just as the Review said, the meals were truly delicious. Not only were there rare items such as conger eel sashimi, but I especially loved the assorted small dishes. The in-room bath was also fed by Onsen water, and it even had oxygen bubbles and music, so it was easier and more convenient than going to the large public bath. Many Hotels these days no longer help carry luggage, but I was genuinely exhausted during this trip, so I really appreciated having my bags carried for me. The service from the older male staff member made me very happy. It was also great that we could use the partner Hotel’s parking lot when visiting Itsukushima Shrine.

    Disappointing meals.

    Although it was the Delicious Small-Portion Plan, the appetizer platter, soup, sashimi, and meat were all very ordinary and disappointing. Even the meat was plated carelessly, with pieces just placed at the edge. Even with an open-air bath in the Room, paying over 40,000 yen for this dinner was disappointing.

    It was a wonderful accommodation!

    On my first trip to Hiroshima, I stayed here first. The Room was clean, spacious, stylish, and very comfortable. All the food and drinks were delicious, and the staff were warm and welcoming, which made for a wonderful trip. I would definitely like to stay at this Accommodation again.

    Top Recommended Accommodation

    This was our sixth stay. The staff are always attentive, and the chef’s thoughtfully prepared meals are delicious every time. It’s an Accommodation where you can relax and enjoy an easygoing staycation. For a birthday-month stay, they even prepared a gift—we received a chopstick rest—and this time we also enjoyed a complimentary drink service and had some excellent alcohol.

    We stayed here to celebrate my wife’s 70th birthday. In addition to the excellent Facilities, we were truly impressed by the cosplay and photo session at dinner, and even the gift of matching chopstick rests—every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and we were deeply moved by the attentive service from the dining staff. We will definitely visit again for our next special occasion.

    A Relaxing Accommodation

    The Room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The in-room bath was especially amazing. By connecting via Bluetooth from my phone to the bath speaker, I could enjoy my favorite music while soaking. The lighting was also thoughtfully designed. All the staff were very kind and helpful. It became a wonderful memory.

    Highly Satisfying Accommodation

    Every year, four close senior friends from high school gather in Hiroshima, and we stayed here together. With a typhoon expected around our stay, we were worried that flights or the Shinkansen might be canceled, but a staff member called us so we could discuss our plans, and we were able to stay without canceling. The Room was clean, spacious, and flat throughout, making it easy to move around. We could enjoy the Onsen bath anytime, and the micro-bubble system left our skin wonderfully smooth. We stayed in two twin Rooms, and all four of us also enjoyed the Onsen Facility next door to the Hotel. Above all, the creative Japanese course dinner was outstanding. It featured ingredients from across Hiroshima; the conger eel sashimi and abalone mushrooms were especially rare and delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the final dish as well—the shirasu and maitake rice cooked in a pot. Breakfast was excellent too. They also accommodated one guest who cannot eat chicken, which was very reassuring. Finally, thank you to all the staff for your courteous service in every respect—from before our stay through to seeing us off.

    After all, I’d really like a large Onsen bath.

    There is no large communal bath in the building, so we went to the public bathhouse right in front of the main building. Even a medium-sized one would be better if it were available on-site. However, the Onsen water in the in-room bath was very pleasant. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The service from everyone was comfortable and welcoming, and overall it was a very satisfying stay.

    Miyajima was extreme...

    Miyajima was extremely crowded during Golden Week. I was hoping to relax and enjoy a delicious meal at the Ryokan, so overall it was disappointing. Breakfast was very tasty, and the rice cooked in a Nambu iron pot was exceptionally good.

    Excellent value for money!

    We stayed here for sightseeing in Miyajima. Since it’s a little far from Miyajima, we wondered if it might be inconvenient, but the Shuttle Service to the station was smooth and there were no issues. As we came from far away and expected to be busy sightseeing and not have much time to relax at the Accommodation, we chose the main building for now. However, we were able to unwind with a Room with a great view, a bathroom with good-sounding Bluetooth audio, and an Onsen-style bubble bath that helped relieve our fatigue! The meals were exquisite as well, featuring dishes made with ingredients unique to Hiroshima. The staff at the Accommodation were also very kind. When we visit the Hiroshima area again, we would definitely like to stay here again.

    Wonderful Accommodation

    I first visited Miyahama Onsen 30 years ago for a year-end party with colleagues. The Onsen and the scenery were so wonderful that I kept thinking, “I want to go again someday!” Ever since then, 30 years have passed—and my wish finally came true when I had the chance to visit Miyahama Onsen with my son and his wife. Without hesitation, we chose IBUKU. The Room, baths, hospitality, and meals were all outstanding. At checkout, the staff kindly shared recommendations for popular spots on Miyajima as well, making it a truly enjoyable and fulfilling trip. This Accommodation is filled with a gentle warmth in every corner. Thank you very much.

    We stayed here for our wedding anniversary. From check-in, the staff were very attentive. The Room was clean, and the bath was wonderful! The view from the Room was great, and we were able to fully enjoy the scenery of Miyajima. The meals were delicious as well. My wife is pregnant, so thank you for accommodating changes to our meal. She was especially delighted that the in-room coffee had been switched to decaf. Thank you for your thoughtful care. We would love to stay here again when we visit Hiroshima.

    Great value for money! I’d love to stay again!

    I stayed here on the first day of the three-day weekend in February for a trip to Miyajima. The Facility, food, and service were all excellent, and I was able to relax and enjoy my stay. I stayed in a detached annex; the building was new, the room was very spacious, and I could enjoy Onsen water in both the open-air bath and the indoor bath. In the indoor bath, you can also play music via Bluetooth connection, and adjust the lighting. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and felt carefully prepared. I also liked that they offered a local sake tasting set with many options to choose from. The staff were very kind, polite, attentive, and thoughtful. I travel about 4–5 times a year from Hokkaido to Kyushu and often stay at Onsen Hotels, but among places in this price range, this Hotel ranks quite high for me. It was an Accommodation that made me want to stay again if I have another chance to visit Hiroshima. If you are planning to visit Miyajima or nearby areas, I highly recommend considering it.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    I was traveling solo and looking for a place to relax at an unhurried pace. The meals were served in a private dining room, and I was able to take my time enjoying the carefully prepared dishes. The bath in my Room was an Onsen, with features like an oxygen bath and Bluetooth music, so I ended up soaking for a long time again and again. I’m glad I chose this Accommodation—thank you very much.

    A Trip to Miyajima and Kintaikyo Bridge

    Take the JR Shinkansen to Miyajima, have anago rice at a specialty anago restaurant near the Miyajimaguchi ferry terminal, then take the ferry to Miyajima. Visit Itsukushima Shrine, and enjoy grilled oysters and deep-fried momiji manju at shops along the approach. Return to Miyajimaguchi, go to Onoura Station, and stay at the detached Accommodation IBUKU. As it is new, it was clean; both the in-Room bath and the open-air bath are Onsen. Dinner featured a seasonal Hiroshima course with anago and oysters, with excellent seasoning by the head chef. Breakfast the next morning was also very good. At 10:10, we used the Shuttle Service to Onoura Station. Then we went to Iwakuni; from Iwakuni we took a bus to Kintai Bridge and visited it. The ropeway to Iwakuni Castle was not operating due to maintenance, so we could not go. We ate the local specialty kawara soba, returned from Iwakuni to Hiroshima Station, took the streetcar to the Atomic Bomb Dome, then went back to Hiroshima Station for souvenirs and Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki before returning to Tokyo by Shinkansen.

    Seto in Winter

    We booked IBUKU to visit Itsukushima Shrine and the streets of Miyajima as a couple. Let me start this review with IBUKU's hospitality. Three days before our stay, we received a call from IBUKU informing us about the distance between the main building and annex. Honestly, this made us slightly anxious because we had experienced similar accommodations in the past where requests took time to be addressed or dining at the main building felt inconvenient. However, our concerns were completely unfounded as IBUKU's service exceeded expectations. They picked us up on time for meals, promptly brought us back to our room after dining without delay, and even delivered a phone charger late at night with impressive speed. As for the room, we stayed in "Yamabuki." The room featured not only a sofa but also designer chairs facing the window that offered stunning views of Miyajima across the sea—a truly relaxing sight. The room also had both an indoor Onsen bath and an open-air bath; notably, the indoor bath was equipped with Bluetooth functionality for music—a delightful touch! On our stay date, it happened to snow lightly, allowing us to enjoy breathtaking snowy views of Miyajima from the open-air bath. Regarding meals, we enjoyed dishes centered around oysters due to seasonal availability. The flavors were thoughtfully crafted—examples include oyster oil pickles, nanban-style oysters, miso-flavored oysters—and concluded with oyster rice. Non-oyster dishes like fresh conger eel sashimi showcased excellent creativity by their chef. Breakfast included various small side dishes served in manageable portions; I particularly loved their gentle-tasting miso soup. Lastly—and most memorably—a staff member recommended visiting "Kakiwai," a café offering spectacular views on Miyajima Island. My wife and I followed their advice and were amazed by its beauty just as described! All staff members at IBUKU struck an ideal balance between friendliness and professionalism; their dedication towards guest service was evident throughout our stay. One staff member even shared my surname coincidentally while remembering my wife's name—this personal touch left us deeply moved. We look forward to visiting again soon. Thank you very much!

    I had a relaxing time.

    Thank you very much for your hospitality the other day. Our children have grown up, and 2025 is a year full of travels. To conclude the fiscal year 2025, we chose to stay at IBUKU. The meals were delicious, and the accommodation was clean, quiet, and allowed us to relax. Additionally, on our way back, we were kindly driven from the hotel to the station. Even as we entered the elevator and could no longer be seen, staff continued bowing politely. The attentiveness in every aspect of service was truly remarkable. Next time, we would love to stay at one of your detached accommodations.

    The meals are delicious, but...

    The room layout concept was unclear. The living area is spacious but not relaxing. The bedroom is small, and without a headboard, there was no place to put books. In the washroom, the Onsen water and purified water faucets are too close together and often collide. There is a simple towel rack, but it does not fit the size of the bath towels provided. The bathtub area is significantly elevated, with no handrails inside or outside, making it easy to lose balance. I almost fell. The bathtub itself is spacious with excellent water quality—such a pity! Clothing storage is located near the entrance; you must close its door to open or close the room door properly. Although meals were delicious, it's unfortunate! Rearranging furniture like beds might make a big difference in comfortability!

    Far better than the website.

    We hesitantly chose this accommodation without much local knowledge of the area or experience in judging website quality, as part of the Showa generation. Simply put, it was amazing! As a couple, we always make it a priority to stay at accommodations with private open-air baths in the room during our travels. This time, while searching for options around Miyajima, we came across this place on a website. The initial impression was modern and simple—perhaps too minimalistic for our taste. The price was about 70,000 yen per night for two people, so we didn’t have high expectations. However, the actual experience exceeded this price range in every aspect. It’s also a hidden gem that we highly recommend for Miyajima sightseeing!

    I would like to use it again for my next trip to Miyajima.

    Although our arrival was slightly delayed due to a flight delay, our stay was comfortable and problem-free. Since we stayed in the main building, the view was not particularly impressive, but we were satisfied with the complimentary pass to the adjacent Onsen facility "Beni Mansaku no Yu" as there is no large public bath within the facility. Additionally, the free use of Miyajima Coral Hotel's parking lot at Miyajimaguchi when visiting Miyajima was a great service. The interior of the accommodation is modern and clean, and we enjoyed delicious meals in private-like dining spaces at a relaxed pace. While there were some variations in staff hospitality depending on individuals, it remained within an acceptable range. The self-service free drink corner could be improved for better comfort. We understand you are busy accommodating inbound guests as well; however, we hope you continue refining your hospitality for guests and aim to become an even more unique accommodation option moving forward. Looking forward to our next stay!

    This was my first stay at the accommodation for sightseeing in Hiroshima. The shuttle service to the station and the attentive hospitality allowed me to spend a very peaceful time. I especially appreciated that juice and coffee were available for unlimited consumption and could be brought to my room. The meals were seasonal, colorful, delicious, and highly satisfying. The rice was freshly cooked in a pot on-site, which added to the experience. I think the portion sizes were just right for seniors or those with smaller appetites. However, it would have been even better if second servings of rice had been available, even if not cooked in a pot again. I stayed in a mountain-side double room in the main building, but I felt uncomfortable as there was no clear boundary between the entrance area and the room itself, requiring shoes inside. Additionally, when being shown around by staff who kept their shoes on while walking through the room, I found myself wishing they would finish quickly despite wanting more detailed explanations about the room features. If I have another opportunity to stay here, I’d like to try staying at an annex instead of this type of room configuration next time. The bath featured Onsen water with oxygenated micro-bubbles (Bihoyu), which made for an enjoyable experience as I could connect via Bluetooth and play my favorite music while bathing. I was extremely satisfied with both meals and service overall; if given another chance someday soon—I’d love returning!

    This is my first time using this service.

    The Room was spacious and clean, and the view of Miyajima from the window was very relaxing. The loungewear and sleepwear were comfortable to wear, and the amenities were well stocked. My husband especially liked the earplugs and eye mask. Also, thank you very much for the gift for my birthday trip. The staff were cheerful and made us feel welcome.     A Relaxing Hideaway

    This was my first time staying here. Upon arriving at the hotel and parking my car, I was immediately greeted at my car, which was truly impressive. As soon as I entered the room, I was amazed by its spaciousness and excellent facilities. Both dinner and breakfast featured artistic dishes made with seasonal local ingredients, which were absolutely delightful. The bath and living area were even larger than those in my own home, allowing me to relax while watching a large-screen TV (and, of course, enjoying the onsen). This accommodation was so comfortable that one night felt too short. I will definitely stay here again!

    This was the best accommodation I have ever stayed at! The room was very spacious and filled with natural light thanks to the many windows, creating a bright and comfortable atmosphere. Both the sofa and bed were incredibly comfortable! The private bath in the room was also amazing and so relaxing. The meals were absolutely delicious, leaving me completely satisfied. Both dinner and breakfast were served in a private dining space, allowing me to enjoy my solo trip at a relaxed pace.
