    Only the weather is.

    Due to heavy rain on the day of our stay, we couldn’t enjoy the view for a while, but when we woke up in the morning the rain had stopped and the scenery was wonderful. Next time, it would be perfect if we could also enjoy the night view on a clear day. The Room layout was easy to use with a smooth flow between spaces, and we were able to relax and take our time. The staff’s thoughtful attention was excellent, and we could really feel their high level of service. We didn’t go to the restaurant and ordered room service instead, which was very delicious. Even considering the weather, we were satisfied.

    It was amazing again.

    I was disappointed that we could no longer make a Reservation for three in the Prestige Upper Floor, but thank you for upgrading us to the Upper Floor on the day. When we entered the Room, it felt a bit warm and stuffy, as if the air conditioning was weak, but adjusting the temperature and fan speed solved it. We enjoyed visiting The Okura Museum of Art, and had afternoon tea at Starlight for dinner—an excellent experience. The fresh orange juice at breakfast was incredibly delicious. I’d love to have it again!

    Highly satisfied

    I had used this Accommodation several times for banquets, but this was my first stay overnight. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes and was very satisfying. It was also great to be able to use the spa, and I was able to relax and unwind. For dinner, I made a Reservation at Tohkalin, which met my expectations and was excellent. The view from the Room was wonderful, and the bed was very comfortable. Overall, it was a highly satisfying stay in a calm and relaxing atmosphere.

    My Favorite Hotel

    Every time I stay here, I find it consistently calm and consider it a very good Hotel. When I was a child, I came to sketch at the Okura Shukokan Museum of Fine Arts, so I also have fond memories. I hope it will always remain just as it is.

    This time, I stayed in a Heritage balcony Room. I wondered if it might be too hot this season, but the evening breeze was pleasant, and I was able to relax with drinks from room service. For dinner, I dined at Toh-Ka-Lin, and the next morning I had breakfast at Nouvelle Epoque. Everything—from delicious dining to the gym, spa, and pool—was available within the Hotel, so I could truly unwind and enjoy a genuinely luxurious stay. The entire property was clean and quiet throughout, and the staff’s hospitality struck the perfect balance: not too close or too distant, yet always attentive with thoughtful care. An unexpected issue came up during my stay, but even then the Hotel team responded with kindness and meticulous consideration. It reminded me once again of how exceptional Japanese Hotels are—especially Okura. I would love to visit again.

    It was a disappointing stay, especially given our high expectations.

    I stayed here to celebrate my partner’s birthday. The lobby was very luxurious and open, and since I had mentioned at the time of Reservation that we were staying for a birthday celebration, you prepared a Room with a view of Tokyo Tower, which made me very happy. However, there were a few disappointing points. Our check-in was scheduled for 3:00 p.m., and we were shown to our Room on time, but the moment we entered it felt quite hot. If the check-in time is fixed, I think it would have made a much better first impression if the air conditioning had been turned on in advance so the Room was comfortable. In addition, after going out once and returning to the Room around 6:00 p.m., two housekeeping staff members were inside. I did not expect cleaning to take place just a few hours after checking in on the first day, so I was very surprised. I had also left important items in the Room such as my partner’s birthday gift and a letter, which made me anxious, so I contacted the front desk. The male staff member who responded told me, “Sometimes we clean in the evening. That’s normal.” However, there was no sense of consideration for a guest calling because they feel uneasy. It was extremely disappointing that he also hung up unilaterally before I had finished speaking. Of course, I understand that it was also my mistake to go out without placing valuables in the safe. However, this stay was planned as a birthday surprise and I informed the Hotel in advance. If we had returned from going out and tried to proceed with the surprise right away, we could have run into housekeeping staff and ruined everything. If evening cleaning can occur, a brief notice at check-in would have prevented this confusion and anxiety. Because this was an Accommodation I chose with high expectations, I left feeling very disappointed. I hope you will improve your service and communication so other guests do not have the same experience. Unfortunately, I do not think I will stay here again.

    I stayed here with m...

    I stayed here with my elderly mother. At some hotels, the beds are so high that it’s very difficult to help her get into bed, but here the bed height could be adjusted, which made things much easier. The toilet also had grab bars, making it easy to use. I had started to think traveling with my mother might no longer be possible, but after this stay, I feel hopeful that we can still go out together. When we were waiting for a taxi in the heat at check-out, you kindly provided cold water, which was a great help. Thank you very much.

    I was able to relax, and the Room was very comfortable.

    I had a calm and relaxing stay. The club lounge had a limited selection, but it was comfortable and I enjoyed being able to unwind. There were two points I noticed: 1) When I arrived and mentioned that I had a Club Floor Reservation, one staff member looked “surprised” (laugh). Another staff member quickly followed up with “Thank you!” to cover for it. I personally didn’t feel offended—perhaps they were new—but it didn’t feel up to The Okura Tokyo’s usual standards, so I wanted to mention it. Please be mindful of this with other guests. 2) In the club lounge, when champagne was served: when I asked for another glass, I was surprised that they poured about two to three times the usual amount into my glass. I like staying on club floors, and at an Okura-level Hotel, I expected drinks would be properly served. Was my understanding incorrect? It has been a long time since many international Hotels began opening in Japan, but as a uniquely Japanese five-star Hotel, I hope you will continue striving to maintain your standards.

    A Hotel with consistently high guest satisfaction

    I have stayed at the Prestige several times, but this was my first time staying in the Heritage. The service, facilities, meals, and atmosphere were even better than I expected, and I was very satisfied. I could really feel the Okura standard. [If I had to mention areas for improvement] 1) The mist sauna in the Room did not feel effective until more than an hour after pressing the button, so it would be helpful to mention this briefly when showing guests around the Room. 2) I noticed three staff members standing beside the front desk on the Prestige side (they seemed young—perhaps new?) chatting among themselves. For a Hotel of Okura’s level, it left a disappointing impression. Overall, no matter how many times I visit, I can always stay with peace of mind thanks to the consistently high level of satisfaction. I would like to stay again.

    Wonderful

    In a calm atmosphere, I enjoyed a relaxing, unhurried stay. I also unwound with some time at the bar before and after dinner. It was an excellent stay in every way. I’m thinking of visiting again.

    We stayed to celebrate my mother’s 92nd birthday. In our Room, there was a bouquet of birthday flowers and a message—truly what you would expect from Hotel Okura, one of Japan’s leading hotels. Your thoughtful hospitality reached every detail, making it a wonderful and unforgettable birthday. Although the weather was rainy, we enjoyed the view of Tokyo Tower from the club lounge, and we were even able to watch a soccer match at just the right time. My mother enjoyed it as well. Thank you very much for everything. It was an exceptional Hotel stay.

    The level of hospitality varies, but we support Hotels in Japan.

    In Tokyo Hotel rankings, Okura unfortunately receives slightly lower ratings. Of course, it is a very good Hotel, but compared with other Hotels that are rated even higher—especially the Palace Hotel, which I like—I can’t help feeling a bit disappointed by the gap. This time, the French restaurant at dinner was excellent, and the quality of personal service in the separate high-class building was also outstanding. However, before evening I had some time and went to a restaurant with a buffet to relax. The service there was not very good. I ordered tea and blueberries, but the staff member’s response was so curt that I felt disappointed. The blueberries were simply added without any consideration or care, so I left quickly. At the Palace Hotel, you can feel genuine hospitality from the person in charge; here it fell short. Among Tokyo Hotels, it may be falling behind. The service feels inconsistent. As one of Japan’s representative Hotels, more heartfelt attention is needed across every aspect of the Hotel. Manager—please do your best.

    It was a wonderful stay.

    The Room in the Heritage Wing was spacious, calm, and refined in every way. I stayed here to spend some quiet time talking with my son, who is getting married, and thanks to your thoughtful attention throughout our stay, it became a truly wonderful experience. Everyone—the front desk staff, the person who guided us, the staff member who carried our luggage, Mr./Ms. S who assisted with our check-in procedure, and the restaurant team—was genuinely kind and professional, and we never had an unpleasant moment. It felt like a Hotel worthy of its first-class reputation. Thank you very much for such a truly luxurious time. Next time, I hope to visit with my husband.

    Accommodation for a conference

    Every year, I’m reminded that this is truly The Okura. Both the Room and the service are perfect. Breakfast is also perfect. I always buy The Okura’s special white bread, and it’s genuinely delicious—perfect as well. I’d love to stay again.

    It was great after all.

    I’ve stayed here several times, and this Hotel remains my favorite. The time spent in the quiet lounge feels truly elegant, and the corner twin’s great view, the Room layout, the meticulous cleaning, and the understated yet luxurious atmosphere make it unlike anywhere else.

    The breakfast room service is disappointing.

    I ordered breakfast via room service, but it was grilled horse mackerel... Even at Hotel New Otani, they serve splendid alfonsino. That instantly took away the special feel of the Heritage Room. And there were only a few items. Otherwise, I think this is a very good Hotel.

    A Fulfilling Hotel Stay

    Upon arriving at the Hotel, I would pass by many staff members and exchange greetings, and I was struck by how polished and immaculate their appearance and demeanor were. That impression never changed no matter when I saw them, and realizing that this is simply the standard here left me genuinely impressed from the start. In the Room where I stayed for three days, there were three sliding self-closing doors. At first I couldn’t quite get the hang of them, but once I got used to them and could open and close them smoothly without using much force, they became my favorite feature. At the bar for the first time, they kindly let me sit at the counter, and a friendly staff member graciously accommodated my beginner’s request: “Please give me a drink made with that shaker thing.” I’m truly grateful for their help. This time I was out for long hours due to other commitments, but even after returning to the Hotel each day, I was able to enjoy a fulfilling stay and had a wonderful time. I haven’t yet decided on a regular place to stay in Tokyo, which I visit every year, but I would love to return here again. Thank you very much to everyone.

    The Room and Facility were new and clean.

    This was my first stay. I had business in the area, and the Reviews were good, so I chose this Hotel. The Room was spacious, and the Facilities were new and very clean. As it was a corner Room, the view was excellent—I could see the National Diet Building, the Imperial Palace, Budokan, and Tokyo Tower. For someone visiting from outside Tokyo, it was truly impressive. The next day I also used the bath and steam sauna and enjoyed my time at the Hotel. Compared with international luxury Hotels in Tokyo, I felt a bit disappointed with the lounge drinks and light snacks, as well as the buffet-style breakfast selection—though this seems fairly common at many Japanese Hotels. I was also surprised that the lounge closed quite early.

    I’ve stayed here man...

    I’ve stayed here many times, and every visit feels like coming home. I love how energetic, polite, and kind all the staff are—you’re truly wonderful representatives of the Hotel! The housekeeping staff were also very helpful, and the Room was spotless. The food was delicious, and the Room’s design was stylish with a calm atmosphere that really helped me unwind. I always have a genuinely relaxing stay here.

    This is a hotel I would like to stay at again.

    I won’t say much, as it’s exactly as described in the other highly rated Reviews. We live in Tokyo, and it took us a little over two years to stay at all five-star Hotels in Tokyo by driving our own car as a couple. The last one was The Okura Tokyo. Lately, our standards have risen and we’ve tended to leave stricter comments, but this Hotel is personally the best overall. The valet parking service also handled things well, so we could park our car with peace of mind. Above all, what sets it apart from other Hotels is how well staffed it is throughout the property.

    A Wonderful Stay

    I have stayed here several times before, but this time I was reminded again what a truly high-level Hotel it is. The Heritage Room is among the most comfortable in Tokyo. The bathroom is luxuriously appointed with a sauna and bubble bath, plus warm flooring—features you rarely find at other Hotels. These days, even luxury Hotels often switch to large refillable bottles for shampoo and other amenities in the name of sustainability, but Okura still provides individual-sized ones, which I personally appreciate—when you’re staying at a great Hotel, big bottles feel a bit disappointing. I even take the leftover amenities home to use. The service level of all the Hotel staff is excellent, so you can relax with peace of mind. However, just once—right after check-in—the young man who brought tea to my Room didn’t make eye contact and seemed unsure of himself and a bit awkward, so please keep trying! I used in-room dining multiple times, and every staff member who delivered the meals set the table with calm, polished movements. The food was delicious across both Japanese and Western options. I stayed for two nights, and from midday on the second day I stayed in the Hotel to fully enjoy it—spa treatments and in-room dining included. The spa treatment was also excellent. I will stay again.

    I had a comfortable stay.

    From arrival until leaving the Hotel, the staff provided attentive service, and the Room was calm and comfortable, allowing me to relax completely. I also enjoyed using the sauna, and the sushi from Kanesaka at dinner was outstanding. Breakfast at Nouvelle Epoque was delicious as well. Thank you very much—I would love to stay again when I have the chance.

    It feels luxurious.

    The Room was lovely, but the water provided in the Room had a slight odor, so I didn’t want to use it. The Room was excellent, but there seemed to be a few too few power outlets. It feels luxurious, but once is probably enough for me.
