    Very disappointing service during my third stay

    This was our third stay. We have never had any major complaints, and this time as well we expected to stay with peace of mind on a family trip. However, while bathing, countless handprint-like marks—resembling the hands of a woman or child—appeared across the entire glass on the bathroom side, from bottom to top. My family felt intense fear, to the point of crying. Because it was so unsettling, we rinsed it off once; the photo posted shows marks that still remained even after cleaning. We do not know the cause, and we do not intend to conclude that it was something paranormal or simply poor cleaning. What disappointed us most was the initial staff response. When I reported the situation to the front desk, their reaction was essentially along the lines of “What are you talking about?”, “Didn’t you check when you entered?”, and “I’ve never heard of anything like that.” The call ended without us feeling they were listening, empathizing, or trying to confirm what had happened. We did not feel our explanation was being taken seriously; frankly, it felt as if we were being mocked. Because my family was crying, we asked again for someone to come see the Room. Even in person they remained cold throughout and seemed bothered; we did not feel they were listening seriously. We felt our concerns were being dismissed and that we were being completely ridiculed. For that reason, we requested assistance from someone else. After that, the manager handled things very sincerely: despite it being late at night, they offered a careful apology and responded quickly by moving us from one suite into two separate guest Rooms. We appreciate this. However, even when we saw the initial staff member again the next morning, there was no apology or even a word spoken to us. At checkout another person offered an apology gift item as well, but we declined. What we wanted was not items or refunds—we wanted sincerity toward our family members who were frightened, updates on progress in identifying the cause (if possible), and genuine empathy for our anxiety. Precisely because the cause is unknown, I believe an attitude of first acknowledging guests’ fear is essential. That said، this single incident is not meant as a denial of everything about this Hotel; precisely because this is a Hotel we have used three times، I hope it leads to better responses going forward۔ If you later determine what caused it، I would appreciate being contacted. I am writing about this experience in hopes that if something similar happens in future، staff will respond in a way that supports guests’ anxiety with empathy۔

    I was able to experience a different Hotel in Okinawa.

    The stay included lounge access, but the hours were limited (a bit short), so we could only use it briefly. Since most guests were families with children, it was understandable. The Room was spacious, and the bed was neatly made. Breakfast was served in the Room, so the selection was limited, but there was more than enough food. The menu changed slightly between the first and second day. It’s not a resort, but we made a Reservation expecting a clean Hotel, and it met our expectations.

    The Room has a musty smell.

    The Room had an overwhelming moldy smell, and both the air purifier and dehumidifier also gave off a strong odor. The air conditioning smelled the worst. The bathroom looks impressive at first glance, but when draining the bathtub, a clogged pipe caused water to overflow from the shower area drain, and dirty water from inside the pipes soaked my feet all at once—it was awful. At first glance it’s a very clean Hotel and the front desk service wasn’t bad, but I was extremely disappointed by the intense moldy smell and clogged plumbing.

    High satisfaction.

    Due to a typhoon, our flight was canceled and we had to extend our stay by two nights. Since we had been staying at an affiliated Hotel in Onna, we chose this one. Our top priority was Room size, and it was very comfortable for two guests. My brother’s family of four stayed in the same Room type as well; with two children it was spacious enough, and there was even room for all six of us to gather in one Room for a light meal and card games. With both a desk and a low table, there were two tables available, which also made it easy to work. For a Multiple Night Stay, housekeeping followed an eco-cleaning policy so the sheets were not changed, but towels, amenities, sleepwear, tableware, and 4–5 types of complimentary drinks were all replaced/replenished each night. There were also two types of bathrobes. Considering how well the services and Facility are provided, it felt reasonably priced. The only concern was that the detailed cleaning could be improved. Naha is newer than Onna and looks clean at first glance, but small spots of mold or dark staining around wet areas—such as the bathroom ceiling/floor and the toilet—were noticeable once seen (whether they were left behind or difficult to remove). It may be something international guests don’t notice or mind; many staff also appeared to be from overseas. However, since this is otherwise a high-quality Hotel, I think ensuring consistently thorough cleaning would make it even better.

    The location was excellent.

    Stayed here again. Great location and excellent value for money! I stayed at the Hilton afterward, but the breakfast buffet at this Hotel was better. There were so many options it was hard to choose, and everything was delicious. Thank you very much.

    Everything was outst...

    Everything was outstanding! The Room was lovely, and the amenities had a wonderful fragrance that truly helped us relax. The lounge was self-service, but we had no trouble at all—there were delicious alcoholic drinks, snacks, as well as drinks and treats for children, so we were very satisfied. Although it’s a Hotel in the city center, access from the Room to the pool was convenient. Our three children played a lot in the pool on the second floor and were very happy. Breakfast served in the Room was also delicious, and we were impressed by the flawless hospitality. It’s a shame we could only stay one night. We would love to stay again when we visit Naha. Thank you very much!

    Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations.

    I had high expectations because of the strong ratings, but I was disappointed. I was told that meals must be reserved two days in advance, but this should be stated clearly—being unable to book even the day before feels outdated. The bar is also not open, so it’s probably best to assume that food and beverage services are basically closed. There was a pork shabu-shabu restaurant nearby, and I made a Reservation through IKYU; it was delicious, which was a relief. There didn’t seem to be anyone in charge, and many of the staff either couldn’t understand Japanese well or seemed quite elderly. The Room was spacious and clean, but the shower pressure wasn’t great. I also don’t understand why there is no partition between the changing area for the bath and the Room. Breakfast was Japanese-style and served in the Room, which was good. The pool was supposed to open from 9:00 a.m., but it was too cold to swim. Also, even at 9:00 it wasn’t open, so I had to go to the front desk to ask someone to come.

    Absolutely thrilled—I'll definitely be back!

    We originally planned to stay for 1 night, but due to the risk of flight cancellations as a typhoon approached, we extended our stay by 2 more nights, for a total of 3 nights. From check-in onward, you provided thoughtful support and service that fully took the severe weather into account, and I can’t thank all the staff enough. The room was remarkably spacious—something hard to imagine at this price range during summer vacation—and even on days when we had to stay in, we felt no stress at all and were able to spend our time very comfortably. Unfortunately, we couldn’t use the outdoor pool or the gym that requires passing through the rooftop area, but overall I would rate our stay more than five stars. Kokusai-dori is also nearby, and within a one-minute walk there are convenience stores and a delicious Sichuan Chinese restaurant (Enkyobo). Thank you very much for everything. I will definitely return whenever I have the chance to stay in Naha.

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    We stayed here on the last day of our trip to Okinawa. It was close to Kokusai-dori and the airport, so the location was excellent. The Hotel staff were very kind, and there was a great variety of drinks available in the lounge. You can also send packages by courier service, so you can shop for lots of souvenirs with peace of mind. The breakfast served in our Room was delicious as well. This is a Hotel we would like to use again when we visit Okinawa.

    Great hospitality and great value for money.

    I stayed for four nights in Naha. All the staff were very courteous and left a great impression. The view faces Kokusai-dori, so you can expect a cityscape of buildings. The Room is spacious and clean, and I think you’ll get a stay that exceeds the price. Just note that it’s about a 5-minute walk from Kokusai-dori.

    The breakfast is excellent.

    Since it was my birthday, I treated myself and made a Reservation here. I was told breakfast could be served in the Room. It’s conveniently located with easy access from the airport and the station, and Kokusai-dori is also nearby. After check-in, the Room was huge—almost too big! The complimentary drinks in the refrigerator were a wonderful touch. The bath and toilet are separate, and the bathroom is separated from the bedroom by glass with blinds for privacy. The bathtub is also spacious. I didn’t use the pool, but you can see who’s there from the corridor in front of the Room, and families and couples seemed to be enjoying it. For breakfast, they asked my preferred delivery time in 10-minute intervals starting from 6:00, and it arrived piping hot. I was especially looking forward to yushi tofu—it was so delicious that I finished every last bit. I’d love to come back just for that breakfast. Thank you for taking such good care of me.

    I love it!

    From arrival to check-out, we received truly excellent service. We had a lot of luggage for our child, and all the staff kindly carried everything carefully to our Room—we are very grateful. Also, we were happy that you prepared delicious Orion for us. The Room was easy to use, and I loved the cute cups. We would love to come again next time! Thank you very much!

    A Cozy Hotel

    Thank you for taking care of us for 3 nights and 4 days. While it can be difficult to find a Hotel with two connected Rooms, this one had the perfect layout, was spacious, and very comfortable. The lounge was also extremely relaxing, and the fitness room was very convenient to use. The staff were wonderful; in particular, the bell staff at the entrance and the team who delivered our meals provided outstanding service. Having breakfast in our Room was also a real pleasure and made every morning feel brighter. However, there was one issue: at check-in we were told that due to eco-cleaning there would be no Room cleaning or bed-making, and that cleaning would not be provided even for a three-night stay. This was not stated in the Reservation details on IKYU, so we became concerned that what we were told differed from what we had expected. Three nights without any cleaning felt quite difficult. At check-out, the front desk also said that eco-cleaning is written on the Hotel website—but when I checked after returning home, I found it only in a notice dated July 24th (we checked out on the 24th). When I looked at the website before our trip, I did not notice that announcement at all, so we arrived without knowing. I wish we had requested cleaning at check-in—too late now. Aside from that point, everything else was excellent. We were very satisfied overall and had a wonderful trip. Thank you very much.

    The Room was very da...

    The Room was very damp and quite uncomfortable. The bed felt damp, and the Room also had a strange smell. When I contacted the Hotel staff, they brought deodorizing spray. It was disappointing because the Hotel has good reviews.

    This stay was a retry.

    During my previous stay, I had trouble with the shower hot water not working, so this was a “revenge” stay—giving the same Room one more try. As an apology, you took very generous care of me with the rate, meals, and lounge access. I truly appreciate the safe and satisfying stay. In Naha City, there’s no other Hotel with this level of Facility and such a convenient location. I’d like to make another Reservation again soon. Thank you very much.

    The odor is unbearable.

    I stayed here as a solo traveler. The location is good, and there’s a convenience store very close by, so it’s convenient as a base for sightseeing. The Room was spacious for the price and didn’t feel cramped. However, the smell was strong. A strange odor (judging from other Reviews, maybe musty?) lingered even in the hallway, so I kept the window wide open during my stay. Keeping the window fully open while running the air conditioner is far from eco-friendly. Also, there was already trash in the bin before I used it—I couldn’t help but laugh since it was my first time experiencing that. The bathroom floor never seemed to dry (maybe ventilation wasn’t working well?), the shower water pressure was weak, everything felt somewhat damp and humid, there was no towel holder, and just walking past made the toilet lid open through the door… Honestly there were various issues, but considering the price, I think it’s within an acceptable range. I added breakfast for one day; being able to eat in sleepwear is nice, but it wasn’t particularly tasty. It didn’t really feel like Okinawa either... The staff service was good.

    The room looked bett...

    The room looked better than I had imagined, but my happiness was short-lived. The bed sheets were damp and had a strong odor, making it difficult to sleep, and I struggled through the night until morning. It was very disappointing.

    The same outstanding hospitality every time, and a lovely, chic Room.

    Thank you for your continued hospitality. This time, three families stayed with you. Even with a total of 11 guests, including five very energetic children, the front desk staff welcomed us so warmly that we felt truly relieved. As on our previous stay, the Room was spacious and stylish, the bathtub was large, and we greatly appreciated the thoughtful touch of complimentary drinks in the refrigerator. Unfortunately, our flight to Miyakojima from the next day was canceled due to a typhoon, but we were still able to enjoy Okinawa’s main island and are sincerely grateful for such a wonderful and memorable family trip. We have already made a Reservation for December during the Christmas season, and next time we hope to enjoy a trip just as a couple. Thank you very much!

    It was an exceptionally comfortable stay.

    The Room was spacious and clean. It was also very well designed and easy to use, and the staff’s hospitality and service were excellent. The pool was also great. If you’re looking for a five-star Hotel around Kokusai-dori, I highly recommend it.

On the first night, there were 6 drinks plus two bottles of water. After a day in between, on the second night it was somehow slightly upgraded to 9 drinks plus two bottles of water. In addition, better-quality bottles and basic skincare items in tubes were added compared with the first night. Breakfast is delivered by room service at your requested time. Everything was perfectly seasoned and very delicious. If I have the chance to visit again, I will definitely stay here again.

    My return flight was canceled due to a typhoon, so I extended my stay. During the typhoon, I didn’t step out of the Room at all and spent the day in the provided pajamas, but I was able to relax—taking a bath with the bath salts from the amenities and reading a book I brought with me. The Room is spacious, so it never felt cramped, and the bathroom was comfortable as well. Thanks to the typhoon (?) I realized this kind of stay can be enjoyable too. They refilled the refrigerator with complimentary drinks every day, so there was no need to go out and buy anything—this was truly helpful during the storm. I like beer, so having Orion Beer was much appreciated. The room service breakfast was also delicious. I had a stress-free stay and am glad I chose this Hotel. I’d love to stay here again.

    This is my second stay, and it’s still wonderful!

    We came to Okinawa for our honeymoon, and since we loved staying here last time, we chose to return! We selected a corner room, and the service was outstanding—from valet parking to attentive assistance throughout our stay!! My husband also loves this Hotel, and we were saying we’d like to come back again—next time for two nights! We were able to use the lounge as well and enjoyed an elegant day. We would love to stay here again! It made our honeymoon truly unforgettable!

    I had a pleasant stay.

    Trip to Okinawa with three friends The corner Room was spacious, and we were able to stay comfortably. Our flight was canceled due to a typhoon, so we extended our stay by one day. They kindly arranged the same Room for us, and even with the typhoon, we were able to spend our time comfortably in the Room. If I had to mention something, the bathroom shower had a straight stream and was a bit difficult to use, and it was slightly inconvenient that there was no bar in the bathroom to hang things on. The drinks in the refrigerator were refilled free of charge, with a good variety, which was great. There were a few issues in the Room and we asked the front desk staff to come up several times—sorry for the trouble. It really helped; thank you very much. I would like to stay again if I have another opportunity.

    Although it’s a small Hotel, it was nice.

    The room was clean and well maintained, and I had a comfortable stay. Security was solid, and it was nice that the elevator won’t operate unless you tap your key card. The free drinks were much appreciated. A complimentary bottle of wine was included, but since I don’t drink that much, it would have been better if it could be exchanged for soft drinks or similar. I’m not sure about the bar closing at 5:00 PM. The only disappointment was the valet service (1,800 yen): when I arrived there was no one there, so I ended up parking in an available space myself. I’d like to see their operations improved in this area. That said, I had a comfortable stay and would like to use it again if I have the chance.

    Just as highly rated as everyone says!

    The Accommodation lived up to its reputation, and we had a very pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and highly capable. Having breakfast served in the Room in the morning was relaxing and felt luxurious, and we were very satisfied with the wide variety of wholesome dishes. The location is also great—you can walk to Kokusai-dori. It was excellent value for money: for two people in a corner twin with breakfast included, four nights came to under 100,000 yen. We’d love to stay again!
