A Relaxing Getaway
We stayed here after viewing the cherry blossoms in Miharu. It’s a small, standalone Accommodation, but the hospitality was wonderful! The bath is private for each Room, spacious, and available 24 hours. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches that let you soak in the Onsen while using a face mask. As expected from an auberge, every dish was refined and delicious. We were also very satisfied with the pickles at breakfast. This is an Accommodation we definitely want to visit again!

We are delighted that the private Onsen, available 24 hours a day whenever you like, along with our original Onsen packs, helped gently relax both your skin and body. We had a relaxing stay.
This was my first stay. I chose this Accommodation because it has only a few Rooms and a private Onsen bath, and because a 10:00 check-out is tough in the cold season—so the late check-out Plan was a deciding factor. The next day was very cold with light snow, but having heaters placed in the hallway was really helpful. I don’t like coffee, so I was happy to find several flavored teas in the Room. However, there was only one cup per person, so I would have liked at least an extra teacup for Japanese tea. The Onsen temperature was just right, and being able to reserve it privately 24 hours a day is a big plus. The Onsen pack felt great, and I’ll use them at other Accommodations in the future as well. If possible, I would have liked a simple dinner menu; I didn’t know how many dishes were coming, and it ended up being quite a lot. I also really enjoyed chatting with the young proprietress—thank you for sharing so much with us.

Everything is wonderfully comfortable and surprisingly delightful!
On our way back to Sendai, we searched for accommodation as it was getting dark, and we were delighted by the warm smile and excellent hospitality of the hostess. The onsen and amenities were of high quality and well-maintained. Although it was a chilly day, the heating was perfect. As an elderly couple traveling together, we usually stay at places without dinner since we can't finish large meals. However, my husband accidentally made a reservation with dinner included this time. Despite having small appetites, we were pleasantly surprised by the carefully prepared dishes. The futon bedding and breakfast bento were also wonderful. The thoughtful attention to detail made us want to visit this accommodation again!

A wonderful accommodation no matter how many times you stay.
I have stayed at this accommodation multiple times, and each time I visit, I feel the unique charm of each season. I have stayed in all the rooms so far, and each room has its own appeal. The private baths are also uniquely designed and wonderful. This time, I visited in July, at the beginning of summer. Surrounded by the sounds of cicadas, vibrant greenery, and blue skies, I could enjoy the changing seasons with all my senses as evening brought the soothing calls of higurashi cicadas. Within this traditional and charming building, I was able to spend my time peacefully and comfortably. The seasonal creative cuisine was visually stunning and absolutely delicious. Even the meals for children were prepared with great care, which deeply touched me. Above all else, it was the warmth and smile of Okami-san that healed me; it made me truly want to return again. The staff treated our children kindly as well, allowing our entire family to enjoy a very pleasant stay. (In fact, early in the morning we searched for cicada shells in your garden—an exciting experience for our kids!) We will definitely visit again. Thank you very much!

Undiluted Onsen
The room with an onsen was exactly what we were looking for. Although it was a maisonette type and we were concerned about the stairs, it turned out to be fine. Here are some points we particularly liked: ① The water from the bathtub faucet is entirely onsen water. Since it's cold mineral spring water, it is heated, but you can adjust the temperature yourself. Both the red and blue faucets provide onsen water. ② The samue provided was larger than those at typical accommodations, allowing for a more comfortable fit. ③ Hair essence is available for drying your hair. ④ For smokers, there is a 24-hour smoking area next to the entrance. It was cold at night during winter, but you can warm up immediately by soaking in the onsen! There are many other great aspects of this accommodation, but I’ll leave those to other reviews as they’ve already been mentioned elsewhere. I’d love to stay in all four rooms here someday! Thank you very much to the hostess—we’ll visit again!
