    Was?!

    The usual—just a bit outdated?

    I have been coming to Alamahaina every two years since 2020. This time, I noticed scratches on the Room floor and dust stuck to the Room light. When I used the large public bath, there was hair and a hair tie floating in the tub, and they were still floating there the next morning. There was also a puddle of water and a single strand of hair on one of the pool beds, which made me not want to use it. Disappointing.

    The staff were very helpful.

    It was a girls’ trip with my high school classmates in our 70s, and we had an amazing time. The Room was spacious, with beds for four people, and the view from the balcony was great—nothing to complain about. However, during the hot summer season, it would have been nice to have a fan in the large public bath.

    Noise

    I stayed for two nights. The first night was a wonderful, relaxing stay, but on the second night, loud noise from the floor above (a dragging sound) continued nonstop from around 9:00 p.m. I endured it until about 10:30 p.m., then called the front desk to complain. I was told there were three children upstairs, and the noise was truly unbearable. Around 11:00 p.m., I took a sleeping pill and tried to rest, but I was too agitated to fall asleep and couldn’t sleep until around 4:00 a.m., leaving me exhausted from lack of sleep. The Hotel offered only a brief apology and said that because it was an issue between guests, there would be no penalty on their side—nothing further was done. I regularly stay at good Hotels both in Japan and overseas, so I was shocked by this response. I will never stay here again.

    The Room was spaciou...

    The Room was spacious, but the front desk service was disappointing. Even though I had completed Online Credit Card Payment, they assumed I hadn’t paid and kept me waiting. In the end, they said that since I had paid, the only additional charge was the parking fee—without any apology. After that, I was told, “Check-out is at 11:00.” When I asked, “Isn’t it 12:00?” they replied casually, “It’s 12:00!” again with no apology. I still don’t understand why they said 11:00 in the first place. Their name tag said “In Training.” It’s a shame for such a good Hotel to be let down by the front desk. The location was great—once you step out of the Hotel, there are plenty of places to shop and eat nearby.

    Overall, I am satisfied.

    After a long time, our family of four traveled to Okinawa again. This time, we wanted to visit Junglia and the Churaumi Aquarium, so we chose this Hotel because it was nearby and had a Room with four beds. Below are my notes and impressions. 1. I didn’t know there is a parking fee of 1,000 yen per night. It was a bit disappointing. 2. While I was parking, my family checked in at the front desk first. The middle-aged male staff member who handled the check-in seemed completely unmotivated and gave no explanation at all about which floors the restaurant and observation large public bath were on, or their available hours. My family only understood after listening to what a female staff member was explaining to another guest next to them. This was quite poor—please improve. 3. The Room size and Facility were excellent; however, since we received no explanation at check-in, we didn’t know whether it was okay to enter the Room wearing shoes or whether we should take off our shoes at the entrance and use slippers inside. We chose the latter. There was also no explanation at check-in about how often cleaning and bed-making are done; we only found out by asking staff working in the hallway. 4. Having towels available in the large public bath was very convenient, but in front of the mirrors in the changing area there were only hair dryers and cotton swabs—there were no combs or hairbrushes, which was inconvenient. Was this supposed to be explained at check-in? If so, then that unmotivated staff member’s check-in service is a serious issue. 5. Hanasaki Marche had many dining options and was convenient as well as reasonably priced—very good overall. We also appreciated being able to buy discounted admission tickets for the Churaumi Aquarium. 6. The breakfast buffet was outstanding: you can make your own seafood rice bowl, they even had Agu pork shabu-shabu, and including all other menu items I was extremely satisfied. It’s probably among the best I’ve experienced. That’s all from me.

    It was great.

    It was my first time staying here, and the Room was spacious with an ocean view, very clean, and overall excellent. The breakfast buffet had a high standard, and even my picky wife praised it, saying, "You can't replicate the flavor of this porridge." I also appreciated the unlimited sea grapes—a small but delightful touch. The kitchen utensils were well-equipped, allowing us to buy interesting ingredients from local supermarkets and try them out. Although I didn’t use the public bath, the private bathroom in the Room was great. I had no complaints at all and gave everything a 5-star rating!

    Clean and spacious

    This was my fourth stay. The Room is spacious and clean, which made me very satisfied. There is a large public bath on the rooftop. Parking used to be free, but now it costs 1,000 yen per night. The breakfast offers limited bread and dessert options, but you can enjoy Okinawan cuisine as well, which is nice. If I had to point out one downside, it takes about two hours from Naha Airport, making the journey a bit challenging. Within the Hotel premises, there are places like Starbucks, Pork Tamago Onigiri shops (Pork Tamago), izakayas (Japanese pubs), and yakiniku restaurants where you can take a walk or enjoy meals. It was unfortunate that check-in took some time as there was only one staff member at the front desk; however, I would love to visit this Hotel again!

    Recommended Hotel for Multiple Night Stay

    Multiple Night Stay is highly recommended. The spacious Room, the well-equipped kitchen perfect for light cooking, and Hanasaki Marche at the Hotel's doorstep with restaurants and shops. This is the ideal place to leisurely enjoy northern Okinawa.

    It was a relaxing Hotel.

    I stayed at the accommodation in early December. On the day of my stay, my room was upgraded, and I was guided to a spacious room with a great view. The room was clean and well-equipped, making it ideal for a family stay. The view and sunset from the ocean-facing room were truly spectacular, so much so that I lost track of time. The large public bath was spacious and clean, with an attractive open-air bath as well. Breakfast was very delicious and highly satisfying. After breakfast, I took a walk in Ocean Expo Park, which refreshed both my body and mind. The hotel staff provided courteous service, and there were several stores around the hotel, so finding meals wasn’t an issue. Although it is a bit far from Naha, this hotel offers such an attractive stay that it more than makes up for the distance. I would love to stay here again next time! Thank you very much!

    It was a comfortable stay.

    Before the reservation, I was unsure where to stay, but choosing this hotel was absolutely the right decision. The room was comfortable for a relaxing stay, and there were delightful shops in the surrounding facilities. The breakfast was delicious, and what impressed me the most was that they provided baby food as well. It felt like everything was perfectly taken care of. Thank you very much!

    Comfortable and Elegant Stay

    The Room, bathroom, and terrace were very spacious, making the time spent in the Room extremely comfortable. The pajamas provided were stylish with separate top and bottom pieces, so there’s no need to bring your own. The breakfast buffet had just the right variety—not too much or too little—and the made-to-order omelets were absolutely delicious! Around the Hotel, there are plenty of places within walking distance such as souvenir shops, convenience stores, Starbucks, and restaurants, which is very convenient. However, right after check-in, I found a few strands of hair in the toilet and sink area that weren’t mine—that was the only disappointing part. Still, it was an incredibly satisfying and comfortable Hotel experience that makes me want to stay here again when visiting Okinawa!

    Spacious Room for Comfort

    It was my first stay, but the Room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I have almost no complaints, but considering the size of the Room, I think it would be nice to have a washing machine in the Room given the location. However, I understand that might be asking for too much. I would definitely like to use this place again!

    The service could have been better.

    The staff member at check-in mentioned, "Please wear pajamas only in the guest room." When I asked, "Is it not allowed even for the bath?" he replied, "If possible." When I borrowed a cart to carry luggage to the room and asked where to return it, he said, "To the lobby on the first floor." When I inquired if returning it near the elevator hall was acceptable, he again replied, "If possible." At check-out time, I was informed that check-out is at 11:00 AM and additional charges apply if exceeded. However, as a Diamond Member with late check-out benefits, when I asked about this privilege, his response was simply an acknowledgment of my membership. Although I went to the bath dressed in regular clothes as instructed by staff members during check-in procedures regarding attire rules for common areas like baths or lobbies; however upon observation noticed several guests wearing pajamas freely around these spaces contrary instructions given earlier creating confusion among visitors including myself. Returning carts back down specifically required going all way downstairs instead leaving them conveniently nearby elevators seemed unnecessary hassle especially since signage later discovered stating either location acceptable options adding further frustration over unclear communication practices implemented here overall experience detracted otherwise beautiful views Sesoko Island clean comfortable rooms offered

    Excellent!

    Visited Okinawa for my daughter's wedding. The Room was spacious, clean, and offered a beautiful ocean view. The fully equipped kitchen was very convenient. The Facility included dining options and souvenir shops, making the stay enjoyable. It was a wonderful Hotel, and I would love to visit again!

    Beyond expectations

    I had always wanted to stay at this Hotel, and when I entered the Room, I found a greeting note along with Chocolate, which made me feel their thoughtfulness. The Room was spacious and clean, well-equipped, and the breakfast was delicious—completely satisfying. I would love to stay here again if I visit the northern area.

    I would love to visit again on a sunny day.

    The Hotel was excellent with the sea right in front. There are shops and a Starbucks nearby, making it very convenient. Breakfast included Okinawan cuisine, offering a wide variety and was very delicious. Unfortunately, the weather was not great, so the view was disappointing. I would love to visit again on a sunny day.

    Gradually deteriorating

    I have used it several times, but I was surprised by the deterioration of the chair in the Room. It is a Hotel that feels like a Business Hotel, and in a good way, it maintains a distance, which I like. There is also a large public bath, making it a casual Hotel.

    It was a wonderful trip to Okinawa.

    I used the service in conjunction with a live event at Okinawa Arena. My son didn't come, but it was a girls' trip with his girlfriend and her sister. The room was relaxing, and the view from the window was fantastic. We used the restaurant both at night and in the morning, and everything we ate was delicious, making me regret not opting for a Multiple Night Stay. Next time, I definitely want to stay for multiple nights. Thanks to all the staff. Thank you very much.

    Convenient!

    I stayed for two nights. It was a 64m2 Room, very spacious with a small kitchen, refrigerator, and microwave. Within the Hotel premises, there is a market with a food court, restaurants, convenience store, and souvenir shop. On the second night, I took out food and enjoyed a leisurely meal in the Room's large dining area while having drinks. The view from the high floor was amazing. I will stay here again next time.

    Annual Stay at the Headquarters

    We stayed in two rooms again this year. We were worried about the typhoon, but we were able to enjoy our stay without any major impact. The cake and fruits we requested this year were also very delicious. Thank you for all your considerations. We have been staying at this hotel since it was established, but we have started to notice the gradual aging of the rooms and facilities. The seat of the chair in the room was worn out, scattering debris around the room, and some chairs in the restaurant were slightly broken. Thanks to the efforts and excellent service of the staff, these issues were not too bothersome, but I hope the facilities will be updated where necessary to maintain a comfortable hotel experience. Please continue to do your best. We hope to visit again next year.

    I have doubts about the front desk service. I'm glad it was only for one night.

    Regarding the use of the coin laundry There are fewer laundries compared to the number of rooms, so even if you are just 10 minutes late, your laundry will be taken to the front desk. I wonder what the lock is for, but I understand that it is inevitable if there is a request from the customer. However, the problem is the response afterward. You are handed someone else's laundry. It is crammed into a small plastic bag and is all wrinkled. The front desk staff was from overseas, but I was astonished by the lack of consideration in their response. If the staff cannot manage it, wouldn't it be better to remove the lock on the washing machines and set up baskets with the number of each washing machine in the laundry? It might be safer and more efficient to have the users manage it themselves. There are no issues with the location or the room as they were as expected. It doesn't have a resort feel and is more like a condominium than a hotel. It had the same atmosphere as my apartment. Having separate living and bedroom areas made it very comfortable for families with children. However, with such a response, I felt that a Vacation Rental would be sufficient instead of a Hotel.

    The view from the Room is excellent.

    The view, amenities, and food were all excellent as it was a Room on the top floor. It was a Plan with dinner and breakfast included, and the French dinner was very delicious. The breakfast buffet also had a wide variety of dishes, all of which were delicious. The Room rate seemed quite high. Since the food was delicious, I am considering choosing a slightly cheaper Room next time.
