    After quite a long t...

    After quite a long time, I finally managed to take a long holiday, so I decided on a solo trip within Japan. After a lot of deliberation, I chose Okinawa. Rather than sightseeing, I wanted to focus on a relaxing “hotel stay,” so I chose Hiramatsu and stayed for two nights. My impressions: The Room was ideal (even beyond what I had imagined), and it felt even better than the photos on the website. The natural sounds and breeze in the quiet surroundings—and perhaps the way the sunlight came in—may have contributed to that feeling. Depending on the Room’s location and type, impressions may vary, but for me it felt like an outstanding location. I visited just after Obon and before Okinawa’s traditional Obon period, so occupancy may have been calmer; as a solo traveler, the timing may have worked out perfectly. Even with slightly cloudy skies, there were still so many stars visible at night—it really impressed me. Seeing something you can’t experience in Tokyo made me genuinely excited. If I had to mention one thing: on the second night’s dinner, it felt like both the menu composition and service were lighter compared with the first night (for example, there were no particular upgrade suggestions on day two; champagne and wine also weren’t poured at the table). That said, it was only that my “solo trip excitement” left me feeling just a little wistful... The younger staff members served us while clearly feeling some nervousness, so perhaps that led to slightly more straightforward service—but since I was alone anyway (and honestly don’t mind being their practice guest), please feel free to do so next time (laugh). I could truly feel everyone’s sincere care throughout my stay, which made me very happy. Most other guests were couples or families with children, but nothing bothered me at all; if anything, I enjoyed my meal and wine while admiring all that happy energy around me. It was wonderful. I’d love to visit again next summer. Thank you very much.

    Spectacular views only

    Second visit. The service at check-in was very disappointing, and I feel overall improvement is needed. That said, the breathtaking views (the blue sea and a sky full of stars) were truly soothing.

    To avoid the rainy season and bears, I took a solo trip to Okinawa. I chose HIRAMATSU because I had great stays at their Atami and Kyoto properties. I arranged the spa and a Shuttle Service taxi in advance—I'm glad I did. Although it was before the end of the rainy season, it was perfectly clear with strong sunshine and heat, so I spent most of my time reading in my Room, occasionally enjoying the beautiful view from there. (Only a few groups seemed to be enjoying the pool.) I really like how HIRAMATSU designs their Rooms—chic and very functional. Having sunscreen provided was a big help. For dinner, I chose a course with smaller portions, which was more than enough for me. I also requested wine pairing and enjoyed the colorful dishes. On the second morning, breakfast was Japanese-style, which I appreciated since that's what I'm used to at home. The tuna with grated yam was delicious. At the spa, I booked a facial and head spa—it was pure bliss. The atmosphere was quiet and calm, and I could truly relax. Thank you very much.

    A Quiet Hideaway Hotel

    I stayed in a Premium Double Room on the first floor. There was a jacuzzi on the terrace right in front of me, and with a short walk I could reach the pool and the beach. I was happy to find a Hotel like this in Japan.\nThe Room was spacious, and the furniture felt luxurious—everything was wonderful. They held events every day, and I joined morning yoga the next day. Doing yoga on the lawn while listening to birdsong was amazing.\nSince the Hotel has only a small number of Rooms, I was able to truly relax and unwind. All of the staff were very young and kind. I would love to stay again.

    It was heavenly.

    Thank you very much for your hospitality. The Room was wonderful. The concierge also assisted us even before our stay and provided kind, excellent service. We had imagined dining similar to Hiramatsu in Atami, which we visited a few years ago, so it felt quite casual and we were a little surprised. However, that may be a good thing in terms of relaxing at a resort. We would love to stay again, and we look forward to it.

    At the very end...

    As a fan of HIRAMATSU Resorts, I have stayed repeatedly at Sengokuhara and Kashikojima, and this time I stayed for two nights in the pool villa suite in Ginoza for the first time. As expected, the Room, cuisine, and hospitality were all outstanding, and I was very satisfied... however. At the start of breakfast on the final morning (perhaps because it was a Multiple Night Stay—Western-style on the first day and Japanese-style on the last day as a fixed rule? There was no prior confirmation), I asked for orange juice and was told it would be charged. I understand that this is not an all-inclusive Hotel, and I truly enjoyed everything—including the wine pairing at dinner—but being told that juice is included with Western-style breakfast yet charged with Japanese-style breakfast “because it’s Japanese” was disappointing. It may be a manual-based rule, but honestly, it was discouraging to be charged for morning juice during a Multiple Night Stay in a top-tier villa suite. At that moment, someone seemed to check with a supervisor(?) as well, but the final decision was still that it would be charged. I am not saying this out of stinginess. Because I am a repeat guest and a fan of the HIRAMATSU brand—and because this has never happened at your other Hotels—I wanted to share this feedback since it was my first time experiencing it. I apologize if this sounds presumptuous, but please consider as an issue going forward that even something as small as one glass of juice can result in losing repeat guests.

    Hmm.

    The untouched beach you reach by walking down from the Facility felt like a heavenly, pristine landscape, and it left the strongest impression on me. Dinner was average for upscale French cuisine. In contrast, breakfast was exceptionally high quality and truly impressive. As for the Room, I wondered if the jacuzzi mat hadn’t been replaced in a long time. It was left exposed to the rain as well. Also, there was a constant crackling noise coming from the ceiling fan and around the air conditioning unit, so at night I had no choice but to turn everything off to sleep. Overall, I had some concerns here and there regarding hygiene and safety. While some staff members were wonderful, others were surprisingly unpleasant in their responses, and at least as a Facility I didn’t feel consistent hospitality. Unlike the Resort Hotel cluster area from Onna to Nago, there may be no nearby competitors here, which could be part of the reason. Overall, it didn’t feel like good value for money.

    The Ultimate Relaxation

    First stay It was very quiet, and I was able to relax and take it easy. I love Japanese cuisine, but this Accommodation made me want to try the Western-style meals for the first time. The Bvlgari amenities have a strong scent, so I would prefer something gentler (though preferences may vary). Next time, considering the Room jacuzzi and the infinity pool that is not heated, I would like to visit again in summer.

    Year-End in Okinawa

    Spend this New Year's holiday in Okinawa. Planning to meet up with my daughter after her work on New Year's Eve, I decided to visit the Hiramatsu Resort, known for its exquisite cuisine, the day before. It turned out to be a perfect choice. Among all the Hiramatsu Resorts across the whole country, this one ranked as one of my personal favorites in terms of taste. The staff's service and hospitality were as excellent as ever, allowing me to relax with peace of mind. Located on Okinawa's east coast, it may have some disadvantages compared to the many resorts on the west coast; however, just dining here was more than satisfying. I've also heard great things about their spa services. Following last year's year-end trip to Karuizawa, visiting Hiramatsu Resorts has become a tradition for our year-end travels—and we are satisfied every time. Thank you very much!

    Wonderful Hotel

    The room is spacious and open, with a luxurious bath and Bulgarian amenities that enhance the extraordinary experience. I initially visited for the dining experience, but the room was so relaxing that I regretted not staying for 2 nights and 3 days. I also wish I had more time to enjoy the terrace jacuzzi. The restaurant offers an incredibly private and luxurious atmosphere. The dishes were excellent, perfectly paired with wine for a delightful experience. The staff who served us were all very pleasant, making our time truly enjoyable. Thank you so much! Since my birthday is coming up this month, I wanted to celebrate it here but couldn't arrange it this time—something I'll look forward to doing in the future. Breakfast was Western-style on one day, while it seemed Japanese-style would be served on a second morning if staying longer; however, after having a Western dinner the night before, I felt Western breakfast suited better for me personally. That said, all meals were absolutely delicious. Additionally, plans including spa treatments add even more value! The therapist who attended to me was wonderful and provided such a healing experience—thank you so much! If there's anything I'd mention as feedback: an 11 AM checkout feels slightly early. Also, there were no basic skincare products available; perhaps they could have been provided upon request. This has become another accommodation I'd love to revisit when traveling to Okinawa again! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

    Unfortunately

    We had high expectations. The first staff member who greeted us was rather cold in their response, which made us question the hospitality. We were really looking forward to our stay, so it was truly disappointing. However, we appreciated the anniversary plate and the towel art in the bedroom. Thank you for that!

    Inspiration and Gratitude

    We visited as two adults seeking rest and relaxation, and we were able to spend the most peaceful and wonderful time. Every dish surprised us with the thought, "Okinawa has such unique ingredients!" We were deeply moved by the chefs' dedication to sourcing exceptional ingredients and presenting them in their best form. We are also truly grateful for the warm hospitality and thoughtful service that touched our hearts. Thank you for the delightful meals. The Room cleaning, turndown service, car arrangements, attention at the café, poolside care—every aspect of Facility management was impeccable, making our stay extremely comfortable.     Accommodation with exceptional hospitality

    We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days and were deeply impressed by the hospitality. We had a baby with us, but the room was well-equipped with diaper-related items and baby amenities, and thoughtful arrangements were made even at the dining area, which was wonderful. The meals were truly delicious, the amenities excellent, and I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to relax and unwind.

    Enjoy the Resort

    I had previously experienced wonderful stays at Hiramatsu in Karuizawa Miyota and Sengokuhara, so I had been very curious about THE HIRAMATSU HOTELS & RESORTS Ginoza. Seeing the photos of the hotel online, I went with high expectations, and it turned out to be a stunning tropical hotel that exceeded them. Our room was on the first floor, closest to the pool and sea. I had read a review before saying, "Even when you're in the jacuzzi, people passing by can make it hard to relax," so I was a bit concerned. However, with the blue ocean right in front of us and surrounded by resort-like facilities full of charm, I found the openness rather refreshing and pleasant. I was also looking forward to dining there; however, spending over two hours on a course meal after an early morning journey left me feeling quite tired. It would have been nice if there were some adjustments made for guests' comfort in such situations. The staff who assisted us during our stay were all very pleasant. To my surprise and delight, they even remembered a dining request we made during our stay at Sengokuhara last month—it had reached Okinawa! This has become one of the hotels I'd love to visit again someday.

    The Second Stay at Hiramatsu

    Stayed for one night last year and had a great experience, so this year I stayed for two nights. The fine French dining was excellent, and the wine pairing was enjoyable. However, the dessert was just thick slices of caramelized fresh pineapple with ice cream on top, and the second day's breakfast dessert was only cut watermelon—I wish there had been more creativity. Am I expecting too much from a luxury Hotel? The free drinks at the café were very nice. It would be even better if there were more chilled sweets among the snacks! That said, I truly appreciate how warmly the staff welcomed me and their thoughtful hospitality. Thank you very much!

    The reception staff's hospitality, the infinity pool with the sound of waves, and the starry sky were incredibly soothing. However, regarding the meals, which are a highlight of this Hotel, I felt there was room for improvement in both taste and service. During dinner, I noticed slight stains on plates and marks that seemed like oil splatters. At breakfast, smoothies were served unblended; when I pointed it out, they handed me a spoon without realizing it wasn't properly mixed. There were other issues as well that I've since forgotten. While the restaurant staff overall left a good impression, there seemed to be variations in their service skills.

    A Blissful Moment to Savor with All Five Senses

    Despite previous visits being weather-dependent, this time we were fortunate to enjoy the stunning blue skies and breathtaking ocean views, making our stay truly satisfying. We deeply appreciate your kind assistance with multiple departure time changes and advice on sightseeing routes. As with our last visit, the interior was adorned with beautifully selected furniture and art pieces throughout, perfectly complementing the delicious meals to delight all senses. The warm and attentive service from all staff members ensured another comfortable and pleasant experience. This time, we also tried the spa for the first time. The treatments in a serene separate building were exceptional, leaving us refreshed both physically and mentally. This is a special place where you can escape daily life and indulge in luxurious moments of tranquility. We look forward to visiting again in a different season!

    It was a busy trip.

    I visit Okinawa several times a year to see my relatives. Each time, I enjoy choosing a Hotel, but with so many great options being built, it can be hard to decide. This was my second visit; during the first stay, the jacuzzi felt too exposed and I couldn't relax. This time, I requested a Room with more privacy and was given a Room on the 3rd floor with a beautiful view. I spent some time in the pool and enjoyed the jacuzzi as well, making it quite a busy day. The service was excellent as expected from Hiramatsu, making for a very satisfying stay. However, since I am older and had sprained my foot, getting into the jacuzzi felt slightly unsafe due to footing issues. It made me feel slightly sad thinking that enjoying Hotel life might become harder without youth or good health.

    I stayed at Hiramatsu properties other than Atami and Kashikojima. Delicious cuisine, clean and luxurious rooms, and exceptional service were truly Hiramatsu quality. It was the best Hotel I have stayed at in Okinawa so far.

    First Time at HIRAMATSU

    The view from the Room and its spaciousness were excellent. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great, so I couldn't see the stars in the night sky, which was disappointing. I wanted to lie down and watch them. The sea and pool were still cold, but I tried going in anyway (laughs). Next time, I'd like to visit during better weather. All the staff were kind and provided excellent service. It became a wonderful memory. Thank you very much!

    The restaurant is filled with cigarette smoke, creating an unpleasant experience.

    Cigarette smoke from another room lingered in the restaurant for a long time, worsening my wife's asthma, making it a disappointing stay. The pairing wine with dinner was also not worth the price of 30,000 yen, which was unfortunate.

    This was my first visit. The dinner was very delicious, and I had an enjoyable time chatting with the female staff member who served us. The location was great, and I was impressed by the view from the room. However, there were some disappointments with the hotel's morning service. Due to heavy rain, I got soaked on my way to the breakfast venue; it would have been nice if a shuttle service had been provided. Additionally, the breakfast seemed like it might have been pre-prepared even to an untrained eye. I also felt that the male staff member serving us could have shown more hospitality.

    Breathtaking Scenery.

    - Concerns: ・During rainy weather, we were not provided with umbrellas and had to unload our luggage ourselves, which is unexpected for a 4-star Hotel. ・The laundry service allows only one load at a time. Drying takes 4 hours (in reality, it took about 6 hours due to delays), so we couldn't finish before checkout and had to use a nearby laundromat. Please consider installing faster dryers. ・The food was delicious, but the Room Service and restaurant menu felt limited. Adding seasonal or special menus could enhance the experience. Despite these concerns stemming from high expectations of a 4-star Hotel, the breathtaking views, excellent Room quality, and attentive staff make this an overall five-star experience for us. Even our small child preferred this over Hotels with kid-friendly pools! We would love to stay again. We were especially impressed when our car was washed without us even mentioning it after returning from mountain activities—this level of service truly stands out!

    I made a Reservation hoping to spend a quiet and relaxing time while enjoying delicious meals. All my wishes were fulfilled. The breakfast, café menu, and dinner were truly delightful.     Considerate Hotel

    I was very satisfied. The meals were as expected, since it was Hiramatsu. The explanation of the meal content was also perfect. Finally, there was a chilled bottle of water in the rental car. Thank you for your thoughtfulness. The forecast was for rain, but we were greeted with a rainbow and a few stars, and the next morning was sunny, showcasing the quintessential Okinawan sky and sea colors.

    I have stayed here for two consecutive years, and once again this year, the location, cuisine, and hospitality were all excellent. I will visit again.
