We had a relaxing stay.
The three of us—my spouse, my sister, and I—had a relaxing stay. The Room was clean, and the Onsen was at a comfortable temperature, so we enjoyed soaking many times while looking out at the sea. The meals were all delicious, and even the grilled fish at breakfast was prepared in an easy-to-eat way. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, and all three of us finished everything. Thank you very much.

An Accommodation I’d Love to Stay at Again
My husband and I stayed here on the middle day of a three-day holiday weekend. The first-floor corner Room “Kanade” was wonderful, with views of both the sea and the mountains, and we were very satisfied. The view from the in-room bath was also amazing. In addition to a ReFa showerhead, there was even a hair dryer and hair iron provided—thoughtful touches that many women will appreciate. We enjoyed delicious breakfast and dinner at our own private dining room at a relaxed pace. The bedroom’s calm color scheme and comfortable bedding helped us fully recover from travel fatigue. It was a lovely Accommodation that made us want to return as a couple.

It was comfortable.
The ocean stretched out right in front of us, offering a wonderful view, and the in-Room bath was very comfortable. The food was delicious as well, but depending on the dining area, the view wasn’t great—this was the only disappointing point.

Sunset
Polite yet friendly service. The Room was also very clean. Maybe because the weather was nice, we got to see a beautiful sunset, which was wonderful. They even told us the best time to catch the sunset, so we were able to take great photos. We also played around with the waves at the shoreline (haha). The food was delicious, and seeing how happy my husband was made me truly glad we came. Since I can’t really wear a swimsuit anymore, I’d love to visit again around this time next year. The food is amazing—highly recommended.

It was a great accommodation.
The compact, well-organized layout is very convenient, and the thoughtful attention to small details, the food, and the views all deserve high praise. We couldn’t finish all of our meal, but they kindly made it into rice balls for us—and they were beautifully prepared. They also removed the bones from the blackthroat seaperch and filleted the flounder, which made everything easy to eat and was much appreciated.

Second time.
We stayed here for the first time last year and were truly impressed. The fresh crab tempura was unforgettable, so we came back for a second visit. Once again, we were amazed by how wonderful everything was.

The crab course dinn...
The crab course dinner was decent, but I would have liked a more luxurious breakfast. There was no explanation from the staff who guided us to the Room, so I initially thought the bottled water had been left partially used, but it was actually the remaining water that had already been poured into the coffee maker. It’s better to avoid situations that could be mistaken for leftover drinks. The in-room bath and the view were both great.

The food was satisfying.
The blackthroat seaperch was especially delicious! It was my first visit in a while, and as always, the food was excellent. There’s no over-the-top service, but thoughtful attention could be felt throughout, which made for a comfortable stay. We were given two L-size samue loungewear sets; when I asked to change one to an M, I was handed an LL instead. I should have checked as well, but I wish it had been confirmed more carefully. Overall I’m satisfied, but I’m not sure it felt worth the cost—the value for money left a poor impression.

This Year’s Crab Trip
The property has a beautiful exterior, and we were warmly welcomed right upon arrival, which made check-in very pleasant. After that, we were shown to our Room; it was a little cold, but otherwise we had a great impression of the Ryokan and were able to relax in the bath. The crab dinner was wonderful—we were shown the live crab before it was prepared, and it was so big that we couldn’t help asking for a commemorative photo. We enjoyed the crab dishes to the fullest. Delicious! Breakfast was also carefully prepared, and overall it was a very satisfying trip. However, it was a bit disappointing that the outside window by the bath had noticeable streaks from cleaning.

Everything is perfect.
The parking lot, garden, and entire facility are well-maintained, and the staff's service is precise without being excessive, allowing for a relaxing stay. We would love to visit again in a different season.

Everything was excellent.
I visited with my mother and son. The barrier-free facilities inside the building, handrails in the bathroom, and the step-free bathtub were very helpful for my mother with mobility issues. We felt the kindness that ensures everyone can stay comfortably. Thank you very much.

Crab and starry skies are simply the best!
Last time, the food, service, and facility were all excellent, and this time was just as perfect. The starry sky from the open-air bath in the room was incredibly soothing. I will visit again when crab season comes around.

It was a wonderful stay.
This accommodation offers the perfect location to enjoy the ever-changing winter scenery of the Sea of Japan. The crab-focused cuisine, freshly steamed or grilled right in front of you, was absolutely delicious. Someday, I would love to try crabs with tags as well. On the way back, I visited a shrine with rare guardian cats.

The entrance is love...
The entrance is lovely, but it might be inconvenient on rainy days. The same staff member assisted us throughout our stay, providing warm and friendly service. The room layout, where the bed is right after taking off your shoes, felt a bit unusual. The bath was spacious and comfortable; during good weather, you can fully open the windows to enjoy a semi-open-air bath experience. It would be even better if the hairdryer were upgraded to a high-end model and the room wear made from natural materials. The meals were delicious with generous portions, leaving us very satisfied. Thank you for kindly making rice balls from the leftover breakfast rice—we enjoyed them very much! One disappointing aspect was that some services seemed more convenient for the Ryokan than for guests. Since both the food and bath are excellent, I hope this point can be improved in the future. Thank you very much!

The breakfast and dinner were delicious.
This was our second visit, and we were able to enjoy a relaxing stay as a couple. The crab dishes for dinner were absolutely delicious, and the freshly cooked rice in the earthen pot at breakfast was truly amazing, offering the ultimate luxury from the morning. We would love to visit again. The staff were kind and provided exceptional hospitality. The food was also incredibly delicious—thank you for the wonderful meal!

The mattress was too soft.
I expected a luxury Hotel. During the dinner reception, it seemed like someone was leaning against the wall. I understand it might have been busy, but I would have appreciated a bit more care in opening and closing the doors.

The dining room was very noisy.
I visit every year for the crab dishes, and while last year's crabs were small, this year's crabs seem to have returned to their previous size. This time, I stayed in a room on the first floor. Unfortunately, when soaking in the room's onsen, the garden fence blocked the view of the sea. I understand that lowering the fence would make it visible from outside, so it can't be helped. Meals are served in private rooms located in a separate building. However, my room was right next to the kitchen, and I could clearly hear loud door opening and closing noises from there. The frequent noise was quite bothersome. The staff apologized for the noise saying "sorry for being loud," but some people seemed to open and close doors with great force, making it very noisy. I hope they can pay more attention to such details. I later heard that room assignments are based on reservation order? It seems likely since this time I reserved at almost the last minute about 8 days prior when there was only one spot left. Was I given an undesirable location because of that? If that's true, does reserving last mean you just have to accept it? As advice for everyone: if you reserve at the last minute like me, you might face similar issues!

Delicious Meals!
The hostess of the accommodation was very kind and warmly recommended a good and affordable crab shop. Thank you so much! Thanks to her, we were able to buy fresh, affordable, and excellent crabs to take home. The meals had an extra touch of care, and we were pleasantly surprised by the beef stew served in the morning. It was a heartfelt and wonderful accommodation.

It was incredibly relaxing.
Upon arrival and departure, we were accompanied to the parking lot, and it was heartwarming to be waved off until we were out of sight. Since we arrived before sunset, we were thrilled to witness the most stunning sunset from the beach right behind the property. The meals were served in a private room, allowing us to enjoy them at our own pace. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious with generous portions, leaving us completely satisfied. The sashimi, in particular, was incredibly fresh and truly impressive. The bath facilities were excellent, and we used them multiple times during our stay. We would love to visit again during a different season!

The sunset was truly breathtaking.
I stayed in a corner room on the first floor. I chose this room because I heard it has the largest bath, and it was just the right size for two people. During my stay, I didn’t encounter any other guests and enjoyed private time. For men in their 40s, dinner might feel a bit insufficient, but breakfast was satisfying. The view from the room was amazing, and my girlfriend was very pleased as well.

A place you'll want to visit again!
I used this place for his birthday. The welcome, service, room, and food were all perfect, and he was so happy, saying it was the best experience ever. The bath in the room had a great view and was so relaxing that we ended up using it multiple times! Both dinner and breakfast were delicious no matter what we ate. The portions were just right, and even provided rice balls as a late-night snack. He has a big appetite but was completely satisfied. We were especially thrilled to enjoy crab during this season! All the staff members were kind and maintained a comfortable distance while interacting with us, making our stay very pleasant. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much!

The service, rooms, bath, and meals were all excellent. In particular, the meals—both dinner and breakfast—were outstanding, with each dish reflecting great attention to detail. The 11:00 AM checkout time also allowed for a relaxing stay.

For a Beiju Celebration
I stayed at the accommodation to celebrate my mother's 88th birthday. From check-in to check-out, we had a very pleasant stay. Although it was unfortunate that we couldn't see a beautiful sunset, I definitely want to visit again. The reason for not giving a perfect score is that I have stayed at one place before that was absolutely perfect, and this evaluation is in comparison to that experience. However, as many frequent travelers also give high ratings, I truly believe this is an excellent accommodation. When we were being seen off, the staff kindly said to my mother, "Please stay healthy," which was such a heartfelt message and made us very happy. We were able to have a wonderful celebration for her 88th birthday. Thank you very much!

Second stay following last September.
Last year, we explored a course around Amanohashidate, the Funaya houses in Ine Town, and the Tango Peninsula. This time, we visited Izushi Town for a stroll and enjoyed its famous Sara Udon before arriving in about an hour. As I mentioned in my previous review, the surroundings are serene with nothing but tranquility. While soaking in the open-air bath, all you can hear is the sound of waves—a truly relaxing accommodation that my wife loved so much we decided to stay again. With only a few rooms available and staff maintaining just the right level of interaction, we hardly encountered anyone except during check-in and meals. There were no sounds of conversation either—allowing us to fully refresh before returning home to Osaka. As someone who enjoys drinking, I appreciated the complimentary beer in the fridge as well as a surprise gift of premium sake for returning guests—it made for an unforgettable day that flew by too quickly. Although cloudy skies prevented us from seeing this area's renowned sunset this time around, my wife said with a smile: "The sunset from last year is still vivid in my memory." We left saying to each other, "Let's come back again." Thank you very much!

Excellent!
This was our third stay at Yuhigaura Onsen, and while there are many accommodations with excellent cuisine, Hibiki stood out as a simple yet refined adult accommodation. It offers delicious meals, private baths, and a beachfront location where you can relax and enjoy the feeling of having your own villa. For us older guests, it was perfect to soak in the bath to our heart's content. Both breakfast and dinner were luxurious, and with a late check-out time of 11:00 AM, we were able to fully enjoy our stay. The serene atmosphere made us want to return again.

I had a relaxing time.
I have visited Kyotango several times because I love its peaceful atmosphere. This is my third stay at this accommodation. During this season, I specifically requested Tango torigai (clam) as a separate order. Although I was informed that it might not be available due to shellfish poisoning concerns, I was fortunate enough to enjoy it. As always, the food and ambiance were excellent, and as a service for repeat guests, I received a bottle of wine, which made me very satisfied. Thank you for your hospitality!

The Room and food were very satisfying. It was a pity that we couldn't see the sunset due to cloudy weather. We will definitely come back again. The glass door leading to the balcony from the Room felt a bit heavy.

Amanohashidate had a rainy atmosphere, which had its own charm, but to be honest, I felt a bit disappointed. However, the night spent at Yusai completely erased those feelings. We were able to witness a stunning sunset during dinner, enjoyed the friendly service from the staff, delicious meals, and even received rice balls made from leftover rice for a late-night snack. The comfortable Room Bath that we used twice each at night and in the morning was very convenient compared to the large public bath. I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

Was very pleased.
Every year, I visit the Tango Peninsula or Fukui to enjoy snow crab. This time, I didn’t go myself but wanted my three crab-loving sisters to relax, so I chose this accommodation knowing they would serve excellent crab. My sisters seemed very satisfied, which made me truly happy. They enjoyed a relaxing time that you can’t experience at large ryokans and sent me many videos of the stunning view from their spacious room. I’ve known about great accommodations in the Tango Peninsula for years, but since I haven’t stayed here yet, I’ll definitely come next time. Thank you very much!
