A wonderful Hotel in a sophisticated neighborhood

Since this year I’ve been visiting Tokyo more often, staying at Marunouchi Hotel and Hotel Kitano, and this was my first time in Nihonbashi. The chic, calming interior of the Hotel and the Room—designed mainly in black and gray—felt very relaxing and perfectly suited to my taste. If I had one luxury request, I would have liked a slightly larger TV, ideally a smart TV. I would appreciate it if you could consider this during your next renovation. Because it was hot this time, I didn’t use the public bath; I’ll try it on my next visit. The breakfast I had been looking forward to was excellent—I felt it was worth staying here just for that. I plan to visit again within the year, and next time I’d like to try a different type of Room.

I’d love to stay here again.

Since it’s just one stop from Tokyo Station on the Sobu Rapid Line, I initially wondered if the access might be a bit inconvenient. However, after past experiences feeling overwhelmed by large groups of foreign tourists, I thought it might actually be quieter—and chose this hotel. It turned out to be absolutely the right choice. The Room was spacious enough for two people, and the large public bath was roomy and spotless. It was pleasantly uncrowded at just the right times, so we enjoyed it both at night and in the morning. At night, there was no noise from nearby rooms, and I was able to relax and sleep well. The standout feature was breakfast. These days it’s rare to see so many staff members on hand—everyone worked efficiently while greeting guests warmly. Both the side dishes and rice were delicious. A chef at the Japanese food station served corn takikomi rice and recommended their shaved ice as well, mentioning that even the syrups were homemade. I had matcha syrup with condensed milk, and my friend had Kaga roasted hojicha syrup with condensed milk. The ice was wonderfully fluffy, the syrups were rich in flavor, and the condensed milk had a clean sweetness—it was honestly the best shaved ice I’ve ever had. The front desk staff were also kind, efficient, and a pleasure to interact with. I’ll definitely stay here again when my friend visits Tokyo next time. Thank you very much.

    The breakfast is excellent.

A one-night stay for a couple for shopping and dining. Perceptions of “grade” vary greatly by person, but we were fully satisfied as a city Hotel. Room: Having a separate washing area in the bathroom was quietly appreciated. The vanity area seemed geared mainly toward handwashing, so usability was not great. The lighting felt thoughtfully designed to suit both Western guests who value ambience and Japanese guests who prefer brightness. Public bath: I didn’t use it, but my wife rated it highly. Lobby: Spacious and well done in conveying a sense of class. I was glad the smoking room had high-performance ventilation. Breakfast: Probably this Hotel’s biggest selling point. I enjoyed it more than Nadaman at the Imperial Hotel. It may be less appealing to international guests, but the quality is excellent. I was impressed by Mitsui Fudosan’s strength as a developer. The service was also wonderful. Other: To be candid, while there were no issues with staff responsiveness, there is a clear difference from luxury-class Hotels. In short, there were no smiles throughout our stay. It left an impression precisely because it contrasted with Asada.

    This is my third stay.

It’s becoming my regular Accommodation for trips to Tokyo. I’m always very satisfied with the staff’s excellent service, the cleanliness of the Room, and especially the breakfast. This time, though, I felt it wasn’t really “Premier.” First, the disposable slippers that used to be in the Room were gone. When I asked at the front desk, I was told they had discontinued them. Maybe because there are many international travelers, or perhaps a cost-cutting measure under the name of being eco-friendly… That said, they told me they could bring them to my Room upon request. I prefer relaxing barefoot in the Room, so I asked—sorry for the trouble. Also, there is an amenity bar in front of the elevator to the guest floors, but compared with recent Business Hotels it felt limited in variety and somewhat poorly arranged. The breakfast I was most looking forward to was delicious. However, it was a bit warm and humid inside; if it were a little cooler, I think I could enjoy it even more. The building is directly connected to the station and convenience stores, and there are many commercial buildings nearby so dining options are plentiful. It’s one of my favorite Hotels, so I hope to see improvements.

The Hotel was conveniently located, and the property was very clean. The breakfast was delicious, and the front desk service was excellent. However, there were a few concerns in the large public bath. Some guests walked alongside the tub while brushing their teeth, and others brought in two drinks and left them near the tub. Aside from the public bath, it was a very satisfying stay.

    Conveniently located Hotel

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was enjoyable with a variety of small dishes. It’s also nice to have a large public bath in the city. Since it was a triple Room, it was disappointing that most of the space was taken up by beds.

    A well-located, clean Hotel

Check-in took a while, so I wished there had been a self-service check-in kiosk. It wasn’t a plan with breakfast included, but I was able to add breakfast for an additional fee on the day. It was delicious.

I’d love to stay here again.

From the moment I walked in, it smelled wonderful and felt very comfortable. All the staff were refined and calm. The property was clean, and the Room was also spotless. Breakfast was delicious, and I really enjoyed being able to taste Kanazawa flavors while staying in Tokyo. The location is great—perhaps because it’s Nihonbashi—and I didn’t see any guests with children. I would definitely like to stay again when I visit Tokyo.

    Birthday Trip

Because we had to change our plans at short notice, we made the Reservation only three days in advance. When I mentioned it was a birthday trip, I received an email the very next day with details of the birthday perks. He was really happy too! At check-out, they also wished us a happy birthday. Looking back, I think they didn’t mention it at check-in so they could keep the Room surprise—an impressively well-planned surprise that truly moved me! The view of Tokyo Skytree from the Room was beautiful!

It was in a great, conveniently located area in the city center.

I stayed here during a trip to Tokyo. In central Tokyo, where accommodation prices are rising, I felt this Room offered good value for money even though it was No Meals Included. With plenty of amenities, a clean bathroom, and Room cleaning provided, I had a comfortable stay. The staff were also very courteous when I borrowed some items, which was appreciated. I would like to stay here again when I visit Tokyo.

    Very comfortable

This is my second stay. The public bath has a calm atmosphere. The lighting is just right, making it comfortable to relax and stretch out. It warmed my body so much that I even broke a sweat. Because of this, I enjoyed another bath in the morning! (laughs) It's very convenient being right next to COREDO Muromachi, and I would love to stay here again next time.

Directly connected to the station for convenience.

I stayed for one night with my daughter. The direct connection to Shin-Nihombashi Station made access very convenient. The amenities were self-service, allowing us to choose what we needed and bring them to the Room, which was no problem at all. The pajamas were two-piece sets, which was also a nice touch. The Room was very clean, and having separate bath and toilet areas was a great feature. Although the public bath was a bit small, adjusting the timing might make it just right. Breakfast featured an array of delicious small dishes, allowing us to enjoy a variety of flavors in small portions—it was very tasty! The staff members were kind and helpful as well. This has become one of the Hotels I’d like to stay at again!

I was satisfied with Asada's breakfast and large public bath.

The location is excellent, and I was very satisfied with the Asada breakfast and the clean public bath. Although I sent my luggage via courier service and the staff, possibly a newcomer, gave unclear explanations repeatedly, it was eventually sent successfully, which was a relief.

The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. I also loved the atmosphere of the lobby. Relaxing in the large public bath helped me unwind and recover from fatigue. I would love to visit again.

    Highly satisfied.

This was my first stay, and I was impressed by how the accommodation maintained the quality of a city hotel while clearly making efforts to reduce costs. Recently, it feels like the overall quality of hotels around Tokyo Station has been improving, and this place was truly excellent as well. Next time, I plan to order a bento for a late-night meal.

    Thank you very much.

Thank you for taking care of my mother again this New Year’s holiday. Despite her advanced age and a few slips and falls, your appropriate response allowed our family to feel at ease while visiting her daily. She was able to spend her time happily and in good health. We truly appreciate the warm consideration of your staff.

I had a relaxing and comfortable stay. All the staff were attentive and made me feel at ease during my visit. It would be nice if towels were provided for the public bath. I noticed some international guests struggling without towels, which made it difficult to assist them.

    Wonderful Hotel

First-time stay: The front desk staff were courteous, the Room was spacious and clean, making it a pity we stayed for only one night. The Japanese breakfast buffet [Asada] offered a wide variety of dishes, including small bowls, rolled omelets, mixed rice, salad, and even bread—truly satisfying. The large public bath was also excellent. Thank you very much!

    Public Bath

Thank you for your hospitality the other day. I had been looking forward to staying at this accommodation for a long time. The highlight was the bath and breakfast... However, the entrance to the bath felt a bit awkward as it was shared with others inside. The long curtain made it seem like you might bump into a door suddenly... Inside, I noticed some foreign guests walking around in slippers from their rooms, which might have caused some confusion. While certain things may seem normal to us, even small details can sometimes cause discomfort. I did enjoy relaxing in the bath and was satisfied overall. However, since we were asked to bring towels and bath towels from our room, I found myself without a towel after washing my face the next morning. It would be appreciated if at least towels could be provided in the bathing area. The breakfast served Japanese-style dishes with delicious seasoning, making me want to try it again during another season!

    The bed was very comfortable.

I read other reviews and perhaps my expectations were a bit too high. The room was on the 12th floor facing the street, but the view wasn’t particularly special, and I was bothered by the lace curtains not closing properly. Also, the lighting in the bathroom was dim. The staff at the reception on the first floor provided smooth service, but the main reception on the 9th floor felt a bit impersonal. Additionally, there were no signs for slipper storage at the 9th-floor bath area, so most foreign guests wore their slippers all the way to the changing space. The bath is not an Onsen but had a spacious area where I could relax comfortably. Since my room had ReFa showerheads, I thought it would be nice if they also used ReFa in their bath area as well. Asadaya’s meals were delicious; however, by day two, I felt there wasn’t much variety in them. This is critical feedback with hopes for improvement through this review. That said, I slept very well overall and that was what mattered most!

    It was a wonderful birthday.

We stayed as three sisters for a birthday celebration. We enjoyed a relaxing dinner and chatted until late at night. The comfortable bath was delightful, with the perfect water temperature, and the massage chair after bathing was excellent. Breakfast was truly delicious. It exceeded our expectations and left us impressed. Thank you for the birthday bear! We will visit again. A very nice Hotel—highly recommended!

    Will try breakfast next time.

The service was excellent, and the room was clean and easy to use. Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy breakfast at Asada this time due to morning errands, but I look forward to trying it next time. Thank you very much for this stay.

    It was convenient.

I chose this place because I had an early appointment nearby the next morning. The location was convenient for both transportation and dining. The breakfast included a variety of small dishes, which my elderly family members appreciated as they could enjoy tasting a little of everything due to their small appetite.

Rules for Using the Public Bath.

Upon entering the changing room, the floor is soaking wet. Disposable slippers are scattered everywhere. Guests dive into the bathtub without rinsing or showering beforehand. The washing booths are left covered in soap suds after use, with bottles lying around. People return to the changing area without drying off. It never used to be like this before. Only the morning bath remains peaceful.

You'll fall in love with the Nihonbashi area.

This was my second stay. I usually prefer to stay at different accommodations when traveling, but this hotel makes me want to return. First of all, the location is excellent. On the check-in day, since it’s close to Tokyo Station, I leave my luggage at the front desk before heading to my destination. After check-out, I also leave my luggage and pick it up right before leaving for Tokyo Station Nihonbashi Exit by taxi—it’s quick and convenient. The surrounding area has a nice atmosphere. It’s not crowded, so it’s quiet at night. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, making it hard to choose where to eat. The hotel staff provides great service. I didn’t experience any stress during interactions with them. The room is very clean. The bath and toilet are separate, which is convenient. The bedding is in good condition—clean with comfortable firmness for both the bed and pillows—I slept very well. The public bath has ample washing space; however, the bathtub isn’t very large and the water temperature was lukewarm, so it wasn’t particularly relaxing (the bathtub in the room was sufficiently sized and worked just fine). Breakfast is truly satisfying! I enjoy it so much that I could say it's worth staying here just for that reason alone. They serve small side dishes in tiny bowls allowing you to try a variety of options—all delicious! For rice: I had plain white rice first followed by seasoned rice (this time with corn) as a refill. I look forward to staying here again next time!

    Unfortunately.

The public bath was something I was looking forward to, but the shower pressure is too weak! It doesn't feel like I'm getting clean. This needs immediate improvement.

    Asadaya Breakfast

I enjoyed my stay, especially looking forward to Asadaya's breakfast. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of small dishes, other meals, salad, miso soup, rice, and dessert. The Room was all in black but very comfortable. Although I thought the bath might be crowded, it was empty when I entered and I could relax and enjoy it. However, it would be nice if towels were provided in the bath area. As for customer service, I only interacted with the front desk staff who were attentive and friendly.

The staff, location, and breakfast are excellent at this Hotel.

I had a long stay and appreciated the staff accommodating my requests, such as upgrading my Room midway through. The breakfast was beautifully displayed with small dishes that made me want to try everything, and it was very delicious. Rooms above the Corner Twin level are comfortable, but perhaps due to fewer long-term guests, storage (shelves or drawers) is limited except in Junior Suites. This made it slightly inconvenient as personal items like pouches were always visible. The location is excellent, with COREDO and Mitsukoshi nearby, and easy access to the Ginza Line for direct travel to Shibuya, Asakusa, or Ginza. It’s a very comfortable Hotel for stays of 1–3 nights.
