    I had been looking f...

    I had been looking forward to my Kyoto trip after a long time away. Thank you to all the staff for kindly welcoming me even though it was before check-in time. Thanks to you, I was happy to complete all the temple and shrine visits I had planned. During my stay at the Hotel, I enjoyed a quiet and peaceful time. The delicious meals I had both morning and evening were truly satisfying. If I have the opportunity to visit Kyoto again, I would be delighted to stay with you again. Thank you very much.

    It was absolutely amazing!

    The staff were excellent and very accommodating. Even when we requested a taxi at short notice, they arranged it right away, and they also stored our luggage in the lobby for a long time. Breakfast was delicious as well.\nI would like to stay here again.

    Quiet and peaceful

    I chose this Accommodation because I loved the spacious Room. In the Room, there were traditional miso rusks and other treats such as sparkling sake. The bath was also very large, and I was able to relax and recover from sightseeing. I highly recommend adding breakfast. It has a gentle flavor and feels comforting. In a quiet setting with long-established shops nearby, this is an Accommodation I would definitely like to stay at again.

    Not fond of sweets?

    The service, room, and breakfast were all excellent, making this accommodation highly recommended! However, I am not fond of sweets and couldn't eat many of the sweet treats provided as part of the service. Feeling sorry about it, I tried a little from the snacks in the fridge but still couldn't finish them. My apologies for leaving behind such thoughtful offerings. Next time I visit, I'll book a simple plan without snack services. Thank you very much!

    Almost perfect, but...

    The reservation included two meals. The room was clean, the amenities were well-prepared, and the food was delicious. The unique hydrogen bath was also a rare and enjoyable experience. However, there were some disappointing points: 1) The pajamas provided as loungewear had a strong damp smell. It was really unpleasant and unacceptable for a Hotel. I wore them briefly but took them off immediately and didn’t use them further. Although I believe they would have replaced it if I mentioned it, it was late at night so I didn’t bring it up. 2) Regarding the meal arrangement, as stated on the site and explained directly, transportation to JUNEI Main Store by taxi is covered with an upper limit of 3,000 yen per trip. While this seemed reasonable (the outbound trip cost around 2,500 yen), on the return trip when the restaurant arranged for a taxi on our behalf (it being Saturday made phone connections difficult), they asked if using an app would be acceptable since app booking incurs an additional fee of 500 yen which might exceed the 3,000-yen limit—resulting in out-of-pocket expenses for us...?? This seemed like an issue with how arrangements are handled by their side; considering we booked a meal-inclusive course without any detours planned ourselves—why should we bear extra costs? Eventually, they managed to arrange via phone without issues but their explanation left me shocked nonetheless! Even small amounts like this can leave negative impressions; improvement is expected here. Lastly—the water pressure in the toilet’s handwashing faucet was too weak—but that’s more of a minor laughable matter!

    Wonderful accommodation.

    We stayed with our 5-year-old child. Thank you for being so kind and talking to our child. Also, due to our mistake, we requested an additional futon on the day, and you responded very politely and promptly. The bath was large, and we ended up taking another bath after waking up in the morning! The snacks in the room were also very delicious, and it is truly an inn where you can have a wonderful time. I would like to use it again when I visit Kyoto.
