    It was an Accommodation that felt truly special.

    This Accommodation is located up a narrow road from Michi-no-Eki Yufuin, and it was a little hard to tell where to turn onto the uphill road using the car navigation system. In return, we were able to enjoy a calm atmosphere that felt pleasantly removed from everyday life. Both the indoor bath and the open-air bath were wonderful, with excellent water quality and plenty of space for two people to relax. We used them many times. The bedroom also had high ceilings and a large bed, and spending time together as a couple while playing our favorite music was truly soothing. Since we didn’t request dinner, the two of us spread out bento boxes we bought at the roadside station in the spacious living room with its warm wood interior. It was quiet and became a great memory that helped us forget our usual busyness. Because the dining area and front desk are located up quite a steep slope, it was a bit challenging for me with my bad legs, but I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast—the beef simmered in soy sauce (shigure-ni) and other simmered dishes had carefully prepared dashi. The delicious rice was another highlight. The staff were very kind as well, and I hope to visit again if I have the chance.

    Simply the best.

    The guest room was spacious and spotless, the staff were genuinely welcoming, and the open-air bath was wonderfully relaxing—an Accommodation that left nothing to be desired. The meals were also outstanding: carefully prepared without unnecessary fuss, with a warmth you could truly taste. Everything was deeply satisfying, and I would love to return just for the food.

    I was amazed.

    A series of surprises awaited us. Located on a hill in South Yufuin, this accommodation offers breathtaking views of Mount Yufu and the town below. The actual room exceeded the impression from the photos, with elegant and calming decor, high ceilings, spacious layout, and both indoor and open-air baths that were incredibly comfortable. The view of Mount Yufu was truly stunning. The facility's grounds have a charming slope leading to a reception area and sky restaurant above the private guestroom zone. This uphill walk added an exciting touch to our stay. Above all, the meals were exceptional! Each dish was delicately crafted with outstanding flavors that left us savoring every bite. The tableware was both practical and elegant. We even inquired about the chef’s background out of admiration for their work—it all made sense! Their dedication to seasonal ingredients reflected warmth towards food, producers, guests, and every detail involved. We deeply respected their craftsmanship in Japanese cuisine. Surprisingly, breakfast, lunch, or dinner can also be enjoyed here as dining-only options (advance reservation required). For those who appreciate fine dining experiences with attention to detail—highly recommended! The room itself was very comfortable; from cozy bedrooms to impeccable indoor/outdoor baths equipped with delightful amenities like slippers or towels (though adding dedicated towel hangers for drying would be helpful). Visiting during mid-November 2025 allowed us perfect timing for autumn foliage viewing in Yufuin. Another surprise—the price! Compared to similar accommodations around Hakone offering such quality services at 2-3 times higher costs—this place felt like an incredible hidden gem we were fortunate enough to discover. Originally exclusive only for members nationwide under Tokyu Resorts' properties but now partially open publicly—they seem committed across locations toward culinary excellence while maintaining unique characteristics per site worth exploring further! Planning another trip back early next year already excites me; even just stopping by solely for lunch sounds delightful thanks again partly due also friendly male staff serving delicious coffee/tea alongside gentle hospitality throughout our stay making first Kyushu visit unforgettable experience deserving heartfelt gratitude recommending tranquil genuine seekers alike wonderful accommodation indeed!

    Perfect service even in heavy rain

    Thank you for warmly welcoming us, even though we were the only guests during the heavy rain warning. The BBQ meat served at the restaurant was delicious, and breakfast was truly excellent as well. Both the open-air bath and the indoor bath were very relaxing, and we enjoyed them many times. We were able to fully unwind—this was a wonderful Accommodation. We would love to come again.

    It was reserved for two people.

    On the day we stayed, it was just my husband and me, but all the unoccupied buildings were lit up, so it didn't feel lonely. The staff was kind and considerate, and the chef provided excellent hospitality without cutting corners, even for just the two of us, and greeted us personally. It was a perfect location overlooking the city nightscape, creating a wonderful memory.
