    Have a great day.

    Five of us, including our grandchildren, stayed here. Both the Room and the meals were excellent, and everyone had a wonderful time. Marine World is very close by, so if we have another chance to visit, it would be nice to spend two full days there. Our grandchild was delighted to chat happily with the young lady who served us at dinner. After that, we even had a chance to try a little Japanese taiko drumming, which made for a truly fulfilling Hotel stay. Thank you as well for looking after our car and luggage the next day.

    We enjoyed a comfortable stay in a spacious Japanese-style room with three generations of our family.

    One of my recent pleasures has been traveling during summer vacation with my daughter and grandchild. This year, we chose Kinosaki Marine World. The Accommodation was naturally Kinparo. For two days, we had unlimited entry and re-entry. That was very helpful. We enjoyed the attractions too—like the dolphin trainer experience—and had fun like kids again. Of course, my 6-year-old grandchild was thrilled as well. The meals and the Onsen were great. However, there is room for improvement in the children’s menu. Kids have sharp taste buds. Extra French fries would have been better. It’s similar everywhere, but meals for children are often disappointing. Other than that, everything was comfortable. All three generations had a wonderful time together.

    Including Kinosaki M...

    Including Kinosaki Marine World, everything was wonderful, and the warm, heartfelt hospitality made us truly glad we stayed here. We had breakfast only, but the food was delicious and we ended up eating too much. We would definitely like to stay again.

    Staying with us again after a year

    I stayed in a different Room than usual, but I was disappointed because there wasn’t much of an ocean view. It felt quite different from the photos on the Reservation site. The service was polite and easy to understand, and it was clear everyone was working very hard, which I appreciated. The meals were also very good in both quality and quantity. However, the breakfast staff on the second morning seemed unmotivated and the atmosphere felt like a wake, which was disappointing. I was surprised—and happy—that a staff member who assisted me when I stayed last year remembered me. Thank you for taking care of us. Thank you very much.

    A series of puzzling responses 1) On the second day, after checking out, I left my luggage at the Hotel, visited the affiliated aquarium, and returned to pick up my bags. At that time, I asked at the lounge I had used the day before for a cup of water, but was told it was not available after checkout (even though it was open). It was just a cup of water. 2) After returning home, I called the Hotel because I had left something behind. They repeatedly insisted there was nothing. Forgetting an item was entirely my responsibility. However, the next day the Hotel contacted me to say they had found it. I still can’t shake my doubts about these two responses. This Hotel clearly wasn’t meant for me. Thank you.

    The meals were delicious.

    We chose the full-course crab kaiseki. A variety of crab dishes were served in different styles, all of them delicious, and the portions were so generous we couldn’t finish everything—we were very satisfied. It’s a historic Hotel with attentive service, but the aging Facility stood out and was a bit concerning. I understand a major renovation may be difficult, but if you could do some partial updates, I would like to stay again.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    No matter how many times I visit, the view is always wonderful, and the food is delicious. The international staff are also sincere and courteous. They even provided Shuttle Service without a Reservation, which was a big help. Marine World is fun, and across the Hotel as well, there wasn’t a single staff member who made me feel uncomfortable. Staff training seems thorough, and I feel everyone shares the same spirit of hospitality. I have back issues and don’t do well with futons, but it was a Nishikawa mattress and I slept comfortably. As this place has a long history, there are some stains on the walls, but that’s part of its charm. The only downside was that the outdoor bath had a strong chlorine smell. It shows it’s being cleaned properly, but it felt a bit harsh. That said, despite that one point, I will definitely stay again.

    This is a large, old...

    This is a large, old-fashioned retro Ryokan. Our Room was a Japanese-style room with a Showa-era feel, but it was spotless, and the firm pillow I had requested was provided, so I slept very comfortably. The view of the Sea of Japan’s horizon from the Room was breathtaking. We used the Shuttle Service timed to the limited express train, but our plans changed and we let them know we would be late. They still came to pick us up at the time we requested, which we truly appreciated. The open-air bath in the large public bath was at a perfect temperature—not too hot—and soaking while looking out at the sea was wonderful. And the massage chair by the bath exit felt great—so relaxing. After dinner, we also enjoyed light snacks and drinks at the pub, and even my son with a big appetite seemed satisfied. The next day after checkout, we hadn’t planned to leave our luggage there, but a kind female staff member went out of her way to say, “The aquarium is just a short walk—would you like to leave your bags with us?” Thanks to that, we were able to visit the aquarium hands-free. They also kindly checked in about our return Shuttle Service bus—hospitality that went above and beyond. I think this Accommodation is very comfortable for families with small children as well.

    Stunning Views and an Onsen

    After considering various Accommodations in Kinosaki Onsen, we chose this one. It turned out to be a great decision—the views and Onsen were wonderful, the interior decor was beautiful, and the adjacent aquarium was very interesting, so we were extremely satisfied. We had also wanted to stay at a Ryokan in the Onsen town, but this Hotel offered a larger Room at a better price, so we feel it was the right choice.

    I want to visit again.

    Stayed with family and brought my mother along. This was our third trip to Kinosaki Onsen, and we decided to stay at Kinparo for one night after being curious about it during a visit to Marine World. Although the room was not ocean-view, it was very clean. The Onsen was relaxing, and my mother enjoyed it as well. Dinner featured an all-crab course, which was delicious. Breakfast offered a variety of dishes, leaving us full in the morning. We were very satisfied with our stay! The half-price ticket for Marine World was great too!

    For birthday celebrations

    I used this place for a birthday celebration. The meal in the calm private room was delicious, and they even prepared a whole cake, allowing us to have a truly wonderful time. The aquarium discount tickets were also a nice touch. Thank you!

    My elderly parents also enjoyed it.

    We had a wonderful stay during our trip with my elderly parents. The Room "Tokijiku" was spacious, but I noticed some wear and tear on the walls and tatami mats, as well as a slight odor. However, the view of the ocean from the room was stunning, and watching the sunrise the next morning was truly moving. Dinner was honestly average, though I enjoyed appetizers like shellfish and sashimi such as sweet shrimp. Breakfast, on the other hand, was very delicious. I am grateful to the staff who were very kind in serving my elderly parents. The Onsen in the large public bath had excellent water quality that my parents also appreciated. I personally enjoyed both morning and evening visits to the open-air bath; it was clean without any insects floating around—impressive maintenance! The sauna was also great. We also enjoyed using amenities like massage chairs at the relaxation area after bathing and exploring a retro Showa-era game corner within the facility—it provided fun for all three of us adults! The adjacent Kinosaki Marine World offered an enjoyable experience even for my elderly parents, leaving us with wonderful memories. Thank you very much!

    A Wonderful Day

    This was my first time staying here. The hospitality, from the warm welcome upon arrival to the attention to detail, was excellent. The Room was clean, had a great view, and was extremely comfortable. The food was delicious and very satisfying. I would love to stay here again if I have the chance.

    It became a wonderful memory.

    We have visited Marine World many times since our children were little, but this was our first time staying at Kanparo. I had always wanted to stay here, so I was very satisfied to celebrate my birthday at this place. We stayed in the "Tokijiku" room, which was beautiful and comfortable. The private dining room for dinner allowed us to relax and enjoy the meal. The dishes were thoughtfully prepared, easy to eat, and delicious until the very last bite. The surprise cake from my children and the gift from the Hotel staff made me extremely happy and created wonderful memories. The staff members were kind and left a great impression on us. Although I noticed a slight smell around the front desk area, everything else was perfect. Kinosaki Onsen suits me well, so I would love to visit again!

    I stayed in the Tokijiku Suite.

    I stayed in the Tokijiku Suite Room. Although there was a Tokijiku Lounge, the DVDs were all outdated. The drink selection was limited, and despite it being summer, only hot beverages were available. I expected a private dining room for meals, but it was just a table setup, which felt disappointing for something labeled as a suite. The staff's service and hospitality were excellent. However, knowing the quality of top-tier rooms and services at other Ryokans or Hotels, I felt there was quite a gap in terms of facilities and services here.

    Cost-effective and budget-friendly.

    Good value for the price, with excellent meals and room. Additionally, thanks to the free shuttle bus to Kinosaki Onsen, we were able to enjoy beautiful fireworks. Thank you!

    We stayed as a group...

    We stayed as a group of six, including our two grandchildren. The grandchildren were very happy and enjoyed their time in the Room. We may have caused some inconvenience to various staff members, and we apologize for that. The meals were very luxurious, and we appreciate you accommodating our various requests. If I had one comment about the food, it would be that the seasoning for the evening dishes was a bit strong. I was impressed by how attentive the foreign staff members were while working. Thank you so much for handling everything with kindness despite any trouble we may have caused!

    Overall, very satisfied.

    This is my second stay. The accommodation is adjacent to Marine World, making it a safe and convenient choice for families with children. This time, an elderly woman at the front desk helped store our luggage. However, when I went back to retrieve something I had forgotten, I noticed she seemed irritated by the amount of our luggage and made some complaints, which concerned me. Aside from her, all other staff members, including those from overseas, were very polite and accommodating. I will use this accommodation again. Thank you very much!

    It is a good Hotel.

    This is a great Hotel as per the Reviews. Upon entering the Hotel, a spacious area opens up in front of the reception, and through the large glass windows of the lounge, you can see the Sea of Japan with its stunning scenery. Enjoying a welcome drink while admiring this beautiful view was truly uplifting. From our Room as well, we could enjoy views of the Sea of Japan through large windows and had an elegant time. The large public bath was relaxing and helped relieve fatigue. Dinner was plentiful and very delicious. However, it was slightly disappointing that the sake wasn’t chilled; perhaps ordering "cold sake" would have solved this? Overall, this is a highly satisfying Hotel that I recommend!

    The room was spacious, and the indoor bath was comfortable. The nearby aquarium is highly recommended.

    The west-facing room had strong sunlight, which was a bit troublesome, but it was spacious and the indoor bath was great. The open-air bath lacked handrails, so I couldn't use it. The front desk staff were not very friendly, and while the restaurant staff worked hard, the service could be improved despite the excellent facilities. Guests of the accommodation can enjoy half-price admission to the nearby aquarium, where you can get up close with fish. The scenery is stunning, and the aquarium staff are dedicated—highly recommended!

    Unfortunately.

    We enjoyed the Onsen, meals, and round activities. However, we were disappointed to find that after returning to our room post-dinner, the futon prepared for us had dirty sheets. There was a small dead insect stuck on it in a very noticeable spot. It was surprising that the staff did not notice this during preparation. Although we immediately contacted the front desk and they replaced the sheets promptly, the unpleasant feeling lingered and it ruined our trip. We regret having to leave this review but felt it necessary to share our experience.

    Futon!

    The futon was very thin, with no mattress—just one layer on the tatami! Waking up was terrible! However, the jacuzzi in the large public bath was absolutely fantastic.

    Overall, I was satisfied.

    The room was clean, spacious, and provided a relaxing stay. Dinner featured an abundance of crab, which was a bit tiring to dismantle but left us very full. Breakfast had slightly fewer options than expected, which was a little disappointing. The room's bath was not Onsen-fed, which was unfortunate. The staff were kind and attentive.

    Language Barrier

    We visited your accommodation by car during our late winter vacation to enjoy the onsen and crab. The room and onsen were very pleasant, especially the open-air bath in the large public bath, which was highly satisfying both at night and in the morning. In an onsen accommodation, staff interaction is important. The attendant had a lovely smile and spoke polite Japanese but seemed to have difficulty understanding our Japanese. As Japanese guests staying at a ryokan in Japan, we struggled with a language barrier, which made dinner an unfortunate experience. Since it was such a special meal with delicious food and drinks, we quietly wished for more support from Japanese staff as we left.

    Breathtaking views from the window...

    The view from the window was stunning, but unfortunately, the window glass was not well-maintained, making it difficult to take photos. This was the same in the lobby and rooms. While I understand that maintenance might be challenging due to the location, it was disappointing. In the room we were guided to, there were 2-3 pieces of trash on the veranda... However, both the meals and Onsen were excellent. The meal included so much crab that we joked, "We won't need crab for a while!" It was delicious.

    The facility and view are excellent! However, the dinner is.......

    The view from the lobby was also wonderful, and the Room was clean and nice. However, dinner was at the level of a chain restaurant's Japanese set meal. The crab was dry, and the sashimi wasn't great (was told it was yellowtail but seemed like young yellowtail?), and the small dishes seemed like they were instant. The meat dish with cauliflower sauce stew was indeed rare, but is this tasty? Breakfast was delicious. I apologize for my honest opinion.
