    Staycation

    With the all-inclusive lounge stay, I spent the entire 20 hours from check-in to check-out only in my Room and on the 14th-floor lounge. I was able to relax and recharge—eating, drinking, sleeping, and taking a bath. I’ll be back for another hotel staycation.

    Good value for money, but there were many disappointing aspects.

    At the front desk, I was curtly told that check-in starts at 3:00 PM, but in fact it had already started around 2:00 PM. The Room was spacious, beautifully renovated, and very functional. There were plenty of outlets. However, there were no bottled drinks provided, so I had to go to the lounge for drinking water. There is a free washing machine on each floor, which was convenient. The food was so-so. The alcohol selection was also underwhelming. Ice cream was limited to one per person; there were no macarons at all and no parfaits either. There were no soda-type drinks. Overall, there were quite a few disappointing points for me, but my family loved it, so we might stay again.

    Very satisfied.

    The Club Ocean Room was spacious and wonderful. The bed was large and comfortable, and I especially appreciated the projector. The food in the club lounge was beautifully presented and delicious. I already have a Reservation for my next stay, so I would like to share a few points for improvement. I would really like to have bottled water in the Room, or alternatively a water dispenser and an ice machine on the floor. Also, I would like sparkling water to be available at all times in the club lounge. Since these are standard amenities at other Hotels, I would appreciate your consideration.

    Improve the ingredients and flavors offered in the lounge.

    Used the lounge to celebrate its opening. The lobby feels a bit cluttered, but the renovated club-floor room is modern, upscale, and comfortable. However, the lounge serves mostly frozen items and the seasoning is poor—far from what you would expect from a “lounge.” In contrast, breakfast was well seasoned and easy to enjoy; it felt like it was prepared by a completely different chef. The staff service in the lounge was good.

    I stayed here while the lounge was open.

    We’re a couple who love lounges. This time, we stayed on the club floor with lounge access, which opened in August. First, check-in: although check-in starts at 3:00 PM and guests were arriving one after another in the heat, we sat at the front desk first, yet staff arbitrarily assigned us as number three. On top of that, our procedure ended up being fourth. Even though the front desk was overflowing with guests, I wish they would hand out numbered tickets or start processing earlier. As for the Room, there were two futons piled up by the window in a twin Room. It looked bad, and since we wanted to enjoy the view from the window, having futons constantly in sight was disappointing. There was also no water; even after asking at the front desk and receiving it, having no water and no hand towels on a club floor is unbelievable. The price was low so I could accept it, but I don’t think we’ll return. The lounge seemed geared toward families with children. There was plenty of food, but it was noisy and not relaxing. It’s not for people who want to unwind and enjoy themselves quietly. I think it’s good for families. The lounge staff worked hard and were pleasant, but the front desk was completely unacceptable. Please train them and make this a better Hotel.

    Family-friendly Hotel

    This was my first stay since the Club Lounge opened. There were two of us, but when we entered the Room, there were four beds lined up, which made us laugh. The Room was spacious so it wasn’t a problem, but the layout blocked the flow a bit and was slightly inconvenient. The bathroom and other water facilities were very clean. As for the lounge itself, children are allowed at all times, so it was as lively as expected. It felt more like a family restaurant than a lounge. They also had ice cream, so I would recommend it for families with small children.

    I stayed here becaus...

    I stayed here because a Club Lounge has newly opened. First, I arrived about 30 minutes before check-in and was asked at the front desk, “What would you like to do?” I said I would wait in the lobby and sat down. Guests who arrived later did the same and waited after stopping by the front desk. Just before check-in time, a staff member guided those guests who arrived later, saying they would process their check-in. I was surprised, so I went to line up myself, but there were already other guests in front of me and I ended up third. Even though I had been waiting first... If you are going to call guests over, please do it in order. The Room is spacious, new, and clean. It’s also nice that the bathroom has a washing area and the toilet is separate. The Club Lounge is bright and clean, the food was delicious, and the staff were pleasant. However, although it says “From 14:30 to 23:00 we offer six types of alcohol including sparkling wine,” the sparkling wine ran out during the daytime hours. When I asked about it, I was told it was out of stock... That’s unbelievable! I was really looking forward to it and was disappointed. I’ve been to many Hotel club lounges and this is my first time experiencing this. Please make sure you don’t run out in the future. There were no liqueurs for cocktails either. At least something like plum wine would be nice. There were many food options and most items were tasty. The Häagen-Dazs ice cream was also a nice touch. There were three flavors at night, but in the morning only rum raisin remained—maybe it isn’t popular? Chocolate or strawberry would be better; other guests said so too. At night in the lounge there were people wearing pajamas and slippers. If that is not allowed, they should not be admitted—it made me uncomfortable. As for my Room, sound carries very easily. The guests upstairs were stomping around loudly until after 1:00 a.m., so I couldn’t sleep. A few times I considered calling the front desk but held back; I should have called earlier. There was no complimentary water in the Room. Since most places provide this nowadays, especially on a club floor Accommodation level (not sure what to call), it surprised me that there wasn’t any here as well? Also when I asked where to get ice, they told me to come pick it up at reception/front desk; previously hotels either bring ice or have an ice machine on each floor—so that surprised me too! Overall both my Room itself & lounge are good so I'd like return again but hope various improvements happen; maybe these issues just happened by chance this time. It wasn't available this time but next I'd like stay in suite room/Accommodation type next visit too!

    The Room was spaciou...

    The Room was spacious, and we were able to relax and stay comfortably. The service from the front desk and restaurant staff was also very good. The bathroom had a separate washing area, which was convenient, and the hot water flow was sufficient, so it was pleasant to use; however, I was surprised by the loud noise when opening and closing the door. One disappointing point was that when I left the Room around 8:30 to have breakfast, several carts loaded with cleaning supplies and towels were placed tightly around the doorway area, which made me feel as if we were being rushed to leave. I understand staff scheduling needs, but since check-out is at 11:00, it felt a bit too early to be preparing like that. Because we were able to stay at a very reasonable price, overall we were very satisfied. If we have another opportunity, we would like to stay again.

    Unbeatable value for money—however.

    We stayed in a Corner Suite Twin. The 80 m² Room was even more spacious than we expected. It was very clean, the ceilings were high, and we were able to relax in an elegant, unhurried way. There were a few downsides to having such a large space. In the powder room in front of the bathroom, there was no laundry basket, no hooks to hang bath towels or bathrobes within easy reach, and no chair as an alternative. Even if you put things on the vanity, you had to pull the bath mat as close as possible to the sink—otherwise it was so wide you could barely reach (lol). The air conditioning (cooling) works almost too well. It was so cold that we turned it off during our stay. Even then it still felt cool—probably thanks to central air conditioning throughout the building. Amenities are picked up as needed next to the front desk, and there are no complimentary water bottles provided in the Room. The empty refrigerator is also on the small side. There is a small shop and vending machines inside the Hotel, but for a convenience store you’ll need to go to nearby facilities. And it’s quite confusing to find your way... Everything is within the complex and there isn’t any clear external signage... The ice machine was disappointing. They seem to be on each floor, but ice-making capacity is low, and there’s a notice saying that depending on usage it may not dispense any ice at all. In that case, you’re asked to go down to the front desk for ice. It felt like too much trouble, so we gave up on having drinks in our Room partway through. The breakfast buffet was quite good. A solid selection of both Japanese and Western items, with plenty of drink and dessert options, and refills were prompt. Since transportation isn’t especially convenient, we used taxis, but when we requested one at checkout, they didn’t call it up to the driveway in front of reception; instead we were told there would be taxis if we exited by the elevator hall side entrance. When we went out, we ended up having to walk along a road squeezed by guardrails until reaching a spot where we could get in, and since we were traveling with an elderly person and had luggage, it left us feeling slightly disappointed at the end.

    The Room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. However, it was a bit difficult to adjust the air conditioning temperature, so it sometimes felt cold or hot.

    About dining.

    At the restaurant entrance, there was a middle-aged man. Although the restaurant was nearly empty, we were seated very close together, with too little space between guests, which made it difficult to eat. If there were plenty of open seats, I think it should have been open seating. Also, if this Hotel is positioned as a city hotel, the breakfast menu is far too poor and should be improved.

    Spacious and relaxing

    Stayed in an 80 m² Room. It was a double Room, but the living room and bedroom were separate, and there was also a bar counter, so it felt spacious and relaxing. The bath was large and helped relieve my fatigue. The Simmons bed allowed me to sleep soundly. Breakfast included made-to-order omelets from the live kitchen, and the freshly made croffles were delicious. In particular, the roast beef rice bowl was tasty with no unpleasant odor.

    It’s hard to find the way from the parking lot to the front desk.

    I was satisfied with the Hotel, but the parking is at a neighboring Hotel, and the directions from the parking lot to Quintessa are hard to understand. I would like you to post a route map at the parking lot exit. There is a sign, but since it was at night and there was no lighting, it was very difficult to see. Please improve this as well.

    I stayed here to take my daughter and niece to USJ. The Room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. However, it was a bit disappointing that the guests upstairs were talking very loudly late into the night and making heavy thumping noises as if they were jumping around, which made it hard to sleep.

    Stayed for one night.

    We visited as a family of three for a concert at Kyocera Dome and a trip to the Osaka Aquarium. Although we originally reserved an Economy Room, we were upgraded to a Deluxe Room upon check-in. The spacious and clean room, along with the large bathtub in the bathroom, allowed us to relax comfortably. However, one downside was that the air conditioning did not seem to function properly; it didn’t maintain the set temperature, making late nights and early mornings uncomfortably cold. Additionally, the temperature adjustment button (to increase heat) appeared damaged, possibly by previous guests. Despite this issue, we truly appreciated the friendly and attentive service from all staff members. Thank you very much!

    If you're looking for value for money...

    Thank you for your stay. I enjoyed a spacious room and had a relaxing time. However, I was concerned about being required to fill in my address and phone number at check-in. The information should already be available from the reservation site, and typically, only a signature is required to ease congestion during check-in. Being asked to write down an address and phone number is something usually seen in third-rate hotels. Additionally, despite nearby convenience stores closing early, there was no water provided in the room, which seems unacceptable. As for breakfast, while there were time constraints, it was concerning that replenishments were not made even with guests still present and that seating guidance was significantly delayed. It may be challenging to secure enough staff; however, this gives the impression of a hotel caught in a negative cycle. Currently, it feels like a spacious but third-rate business hotel.

    We wished for a bit more of a suite-like feel.

    Stayed in a spacious 80 sqm suite for a Multiple Night Stay. The staff was attentive, the view from the Room was excellent, and the water pressure in the bathroom and Wi-Fi Facility were flawless. However, amenities were basic like those of a business hotel, and the in-room refrigerator was very small. The only aspects that felt "suite-like" were the size of the Room and bathroom (even though the Tefal kettle had a cracked spout). Breakfast offered plenty of variety and was enjoyable, but with no changes to the menu, it became slightly monotonous during a Multiple Night Stay. The location is convenient—just a few minutes' walk to the nearest station—and there’s even a convenience store inside the neighboring Prince building. One suggestion: regularly clean up fallen leaves at the front entrance for better upkeep.

    Fourth stay. The cost-performance remains excellent as always. Stayed after visiting Universal Studios at night. The room, including the bathroom, was spacious and very comfortable. The hotel's interior is clean, making it an incredibly cost-effective accommodation.

    Surprised after getting out of the taxi.

    I decided based on IKYU.com Reviews without checking Google Maps Reviews. It is a Business Hotel. The Room is spacious but unusually long towards the back, making it inconvenient to use. Amenities can be chosen from next to the front desk. There is no mineral water in the Room. The room wear and towels feel damp. It has a 5-star rating on Google Maps—5 stars for a Business Hotel? During the Expo, it charges City Hotel rates, but after that, it reverts to Business Hotel rates.

    Quiet Harbor

    Used as a base for the Expo trip. Parking is available, and access to Yumeshima is convenient. The room is spacious with an unusual layout. It feels a bit too large, but not inconvenient. A quiet place to relax and unwind.

    A Business Hotel with Spacious Rooms

    I stayed during the Expo. After watching the drone show on my way back, even though it was crowded at Yumeshima, transferring at Cosmosquare was very convenient. In the morning, a bus to the West Gate stops right in front of the Hotel, making access easy. The Room had a spacious feel for a Business Hotel, with a large bathtub and a shower that could switch between handheld and rain modes. The shop inside the Hotel was small with only essentials, but there is a convenience store within walking distance. Overall, it was functional and convenient.

    I stayed here during my visit to the Expo. The moment I entered the Room, I was amazed by how spacious and beautiful it was. The bath was so pleasant that it made me want to stay in longer for some reason. The staff's hospitality was excellent as well. Thank you very much for providing such a wonderful experience!

    A dining area is desired.

    Conveniently located near USJ and the Expo venue. The room was clean and nice, but there were no dining options available when returning late after a day out. The nearest convenience store and the hotel's shop were closed, which was slightly inconvenient. There is an izakaya in the same building as the hotel, but the last order is at 22:30. Please note this if you plan to have a late meal during your stay.

However, the step between the bathroom and the Room was a downside. Breakfast started at 7 AM, and the variety of Japanese and Western dishes stood out with high-quality ingredients that were delicious. The mini tomatoes were sweet, and I was surprised to find mango among the fruits. There were unique items like roast beef bowls and creamy pudding, as well as freshly prepared omelets that looked delicious. Each floor had a coin laundry facility, which was helpful; however, they were older models without automatic detergent dispensers—I almost forgot to add detergent from nearby bottles. A usage guide would be considerate for guests. Additionally, I found it surprising that using the dryer cost 100 yen for just 30 minutes. The elevator being located at one end of the floor felt slightly inconvenient.

During the stay, I needed assistance from the front desk and called, but there was no answer.
