The location is surr...
The location is surrounded by nothing, but that also means it’s wonderfully quiet, and you can spend a blissful time surrounded by antique furniture. It’s a very distinctive Hotel with an outstanding atmosphere. Since the rooms are fully visible from the Lake Garden promenade, you may hesitate to approach the windows carelessly in light clothing after 9:00 a.m. Dinner is served at an affiliated restaurant in Kyu-Karuizawa, which also features a wonderful classical interior and truly delicious food.

Surrounded by antiques
We stayed in Room 101, the most popular room at Leze Villa. I had watched videos on YouTube beforehand, but when we actually visited, it was completely different from the images. From the entrance to the lobby lounge and then to the detached Room, the cohesive atmosphere was something unique to Leze Villa. We also took a morning walk around the on-site Lake Garden, and I highly recommend doing so at least once. My wife was very satisfied and says she wants to come back next year during rose season. We had French cuisine at Leze Classic as well, and we were delighted by the carefully selected ingredients and meticulously prepared dishes.

It was a wonderful space.
The exterior, garden, and room all offered an extraordinary experience unique to this place. There was so much to see, and every detail created a space that antique lovers would adore. The garden and pond, shrouded in mist with visible stars, presented a breathtaking view reminiscent of Monet's garden. During our visit in autumn for the fall foliage, we were inspired to return during the rose or hydrangea seasons. The dinner was also exceptional, making us eager to visit again.

Second stay
The room on the second floor from our last visit was lovely, but this time we stayed in a separate building and enjoyed a different kind of charm. The teapot provided during breakfast was cute and easy to use, so I ended up purchasing one. It's a wonderful place to visit in any season.
