    Thank you for your support.

    From the warm welcome to the send-off at departure, everything was well taken care of, and we were able to relax comfortably until the very end. During our 1-night, 2-day stay, we enjoyed long baths and plenty of drinks, truly escaping from everyday life. The meals were beautifully presented, fun to look at, and absolutely delicious—simply outstanding. With so many rainy days lately, we were lucky enough to have the only sunny day during our stay—two very fortunate days. We would love to stay again. Thank you all for your thoughtful hospitality.

    Relaxation

    Thank you again to all the staff. Amid my busy days, I was comforted by the delicious food and drinks, and by everyone’s warm smiles. Thank you as always for accommodating my allergies. Both dinner and breakfast were wonderful and truly delicious. However, I was disappointed with the Room cleaning. There were hairs on the floor in the toilet and in-garden area, and there was leftover food from a previous guest under the in-garden table.

    It was a wonderful stay.

    Thank you for your heartfelt hospitality from arrival to departure. Talking with our assigned butler and the rest of the staff has also become one of the pleasures of our stay.     Ingredients You Cannot Eat

    I don’t like beef, and I informed you in advance. At dinner, my meal was changed to pork, but for some reason my husband’s meal was also changed from beef to pork. He had been looking forward to enjoying beef, which we don’t usually have at home because of my preference. He was even thinking of ordering red wine with it. Even after we spoke to the staff, we were told there was no more beef available for that day, so he ended up having pork. I’m the only one who can’t eat beef. What if my husband didn’t like pork? Please change the dish only for the person who requests it. I shared this with our butler, and we were told it will be handled that way from next time onward. It’s a wonderful Hotel, so we will gladly return again.

    A Disappointing, Meager Dinner

    In September 2026, I stayed in the Geo Suite (Room 6 on the 3rd floor) via IKYU, with the dinner Plan: “[10th Anniversary Opening Special] Great value with an 11:00 checkout—Enjoy All-Inclusive to the fullest!” However, none of the items shown on your official website—such as abalone or spiny lobster—were served. The meal consisted only of sea bass and a small, thin meat dish, which felt extremely disappointing. Why did the menu become so poor?! The Room and the staff’s hospitality were perfect. Before dinner, I was considering staying again, but after dinner I decided not to return. Perhaps I should have researched more carefully at the time of Reservation, but this should not happen. I would like to hear the Hotel’s explanation regarding such a drastically different dinner offering. A Plan that is so easy to misunderstand feels close to fraudulent. I was 100% satisfied with the Facility and staff, which makes this truly regrettable.

    From an Accommodation you’ll want to return to, to a one-of-a-kind place that truly matters

    It all started with a whirlwind of emotion, and before I knew it, 10 years had passed. Every time we visit, we end up saying on the way home, “It really is Komorebi,” and somehow our stays turned into a Multiple Night Stay—yet each visit still feels fresh and makes us want to come back. It’s such a precious place to us. There are so many Accommodations we’d like to visit, but is Komorebi a place you “should” go? That doesn’t quite capture it in words—but that Room, the view, the food, and getting to see all the staff… and the fact that Komorebi continues to be Komorebi. I love all of it dearly, and it means so much to me. Even now, when I arrive at Ajiro Station my heart starts racing. I wondered why I get nervous—but then it occurred to me: maybe it’s because I love this place so much. Like having a crush? But I’m sure those who keep coming back will understand. I highly recommend returning again and again. The more you go, the more you want to go. There are new butlers now too—their fresh smiles are wonderful. I’m cheering for you from afar. The deputy manager has taken care of us endlessly—always accommodating my selfish requests with gratitude above all else—and most of all, I’m simply happy every time we get to see you. The manager and the chef are an unbeatable duo. Please keep evolving while staying true as Komorebi. We’ll keep visiting—so please everyone stay well. In these 10 years… we’ve all gotten 10 years older. Thank you very much.

    Relax with delicious meals and a comfortable stay.

    In addition to our wedding anniversary in April, we returned again for a birthday in August. Each time, starting with Room service and including both dinner and breakfast, everything was very delicious. In a quiet Room, we repeatedly enjoyed the Onsen, the massage chair, and light food and drinks. However, this time—perhaps because the restaurant was fully booked—we were often kept waiting more than 20 minutes for our meals to be served, which was disappointing.

    An accommodation that will make you never want to leave Tokyo

    This was our first stay. The Room, the meals, and the service—everything was exceptional, and we truly couldn’t have asked for more. It all began with the Shuttle Service to a diner near the station, followed by a bath with an ocean view and a Room where we could relax on a spacious sofa. And then, authentic French cuisine made with an abundance of local ingredients. The sommelier’s wine selections to match each dish—and the explanations for every one—were wonderful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the pairings. As a couple who loves to drink, we also found the well-stocked room service to be fantastic. From replenishing alcoholic beverages to thoughtfully prepared after-dinner baked sweets and drinks, even our time in the Room felt truly luxurious. On top of that, there was even a letter from our butler... Every detail was handled with such care that we felt happy throughout our stay. This Accommodation brought us so much happiness—far more than we can write here. Honestly, it’s almost too good to share with others (laugh). We would absolutely love to return as a special treat for ourselves. Thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

    Unforgettable views and exceptional cuisine

    The breathtaking panoramic ocean view was wonderful, and the free-flowing natural Onsen was exceptional. Dinner was a lovely French meal, and since breakfast can be enjoyed in your Room, we were able to relax and unwind.

    This was my second s...

    This was my second stay. I used a Room with an open-air bath. Even though it was the height of summer, the breeze through the open space was pleasant, and I had a very relaxing time. The hot stone spa was also great, and the oil massage at the spa was outstanding—I felt truly detoxed. They also adjusted the breakfast portions to just the right amount for me. Thank you very much. I wished I could have enjoyed a Multiple Night Stay and relaxed even more, but perhaps leaving while still wanting more is just right.

    Delicious Meals

    Once again, I was able to relax and unwind with delicious meals and the Onsen. The butler who assisted us was a lovely woman with a beautiful name. Although she was young, her service was warm and pleasant. Dinner this time looked even more beautiful than usual and tasted wonderful—especially the pike conger dish; the soup was absolutely delicious. Every meal is deeply satisfying. The Onsen is also great even in the hot summer weather. I look forward to visiting again soon and trying this month’s menu. The black version of the mini tote bag is also very cute.     It was exactly the “...

    It was exactly the “Futari Komorebi” experience we had hoped for. We were very satisfied with our stay—the staff’s service, the Room layout, and the meals were all excellent. From the balcony we could see Hatsushima Island, and to the right was a lush natural landscape; we were also lucky to have great weather. We had been worried because some areas in Kanto were affected by the typhoon, but everything turned out fine. We would definitely like to visit again.

    A place where every visit brings happy moments.

    This time, I visited with my mother. Once again, from the moment we arrived until we left, we were able to spend a truly happy time. Butler Y welcomed us with a wonderful smile as always, and even remembered what we had spoken about before. We were touched by so many thoughtful gestures again this time. The cocktail made especially for my mother was delicious, and being able to chat more than usual became a cherished memory. Chef Nanao’s cuisine also exceeded our expectations once again. Every visit makes me wonder what kind of dishes we’ll enjoy this time, and each plate brought surprise and delight. In particular, the spiny lobster dish on the second day was absolutely outstanding. We always request drink pairings with our meals, and the wines and sake selected by Sommelier S not only paired beautifully with the food, but I was also deeply moved that they had prepared my favorite sake—the one I had mentioned before as being especially meaningful to me. I believe it is this kind of thoughtfulness—remembering past conversations—that turns our time at Futari Komorebi into something more than just a trip: it becomes a special memory. Whenever we stay at Komorebi, we feel so happy that time seems to melt away in an instant. I’ll do my best in everyday life while looking forward to spending another wonderful time here. And we will come back in November to rest again. Thank you very much once again.

    We had an extraordinary, one-of-a-kind experience!

    The Room, the meals, and the staff—everything was simply wonderful. The open-air bath with free-flowing natural hot spring water was amazing. Dinner was delicious, and breakfast while looking out at the ocean from our Room was lovely. Since it’s all-inclusive, we were able to relax in our Room and take it easy while ordering room service. Above all, we were most impressed by the attentive service from the staff. We would definitely love to visit again.

    Everything was excellent.

    This was a Hotel I’d been curious about for a long time, and we finally visited to celebrate my husband’s birthday.\nFrom the warm welcome by the staff, to the spacious bath, the roomy and comfortable Room, the luxurious and delicious room service, and the carefully prepared dinner and breakfast—everything was wonderful. Even the tableware was beautiful.\nAfter dinner, when we returned to our Room, there was stylish birthday background music and dessert waiting for us.\nWe were so full that I ended up missing out on the egg-over-rice I’d planned as a late-night snack. Next time I’m definitely going to have it.\nAll-inclusive stays are popular these days, but many places have short time limits, limited options, or charge extra at dinner. This is truly an authentic all-inclusive experience.\nThese days it’s not uncommon for Accommodations to cost over 200,000 yen per person per night, yet this one felt very reasonably priced!\nMy husband and I were saying we’d love to come 2–3 times a year.\nFor us—who simply want to enjoy the Accommodation and relax there—it was the perfect time.\nWe’ll be back again.\nThank you very much to all of the staff.

    We had the best time!!

    A reunion trip with a friend I hadn’t been able to see since moving—after a long time! And it was also my friend’s birthday, so it was twice the fun. All-inclusive Accommodations are becoming more common, but this place is on a completely different level in terms of quality! Both my friend and I prefer shochu, and we were impressed by the huge selection of brands. Every snack was delicious, and before dinner we ended up chatting nonstop as we caught up after so long. Soaking in the open-air bath while looking out at the Izu Islands was absolutely the best! I had high expectations for dinner too, but I wished there had been a bit more fresh local fish typical of Izu—that was the only disappointment. For breakfast, my friend chose Western-style and I chose Japanese-style! I always prefer Japanese-style breakfast, so it was the right choice for me. The Room was spacious, the staff were kind and attentive, and we were lucky with great weather—making it a wonderful trip overall. Next time, I’d love to visit with my husband.

    I’m sorry my Review is so late. Congratulations again on your 10th anniversary. Our family has been visiting on and off since 2017, and this time it felt especially meaningful to be able to meet a mix of both familiar and newer butlers. In an industry known for high staff turnover, it’s impressive not only that the general manager and chef remain at the top, but also that the rest of the team has such strong retention—something that truly reflects your “organizational strength.” Above all, the care you put into creating a space where everyone can feel at ease is simply outstanding. 　　　 This visit coincided with your 10th anniversary and also served as a birthday celebration for my husband. Even before arriving, I had been looking forward—after seeing them on the manager’s blog—to experiencing the “10th anniversary commemorative goods,” the renewed Western-style breakfast, and the specially designed box meant to keep bread warm. I was very satisfied with both the commemorative items and the updated breakfast; however, for some reason, the bread arrived outside of its box, which was a little disappointing… 　 Thank you very much for preparing everything so perfectly in advance for my husband’s rather demanding requests. On a very personal note, if possible next time I would really appreciate being able to borrow pajamas made from the previous skin-friendly fabric instead of waffle-textured pajamas (I just can’t get used to how they feel…). 　 Because I don’t eat much, it’s always a shame that I can’t fully take advantage of all-inclusive offerings—but secretly, I hope that someday I’ll get to try seasonal items like limited-time shaved ice or a mango piña colada.

    An Accommodation You’ll Want to Stay at at Least Once in Your Lifetime

    I used to think this was an Accommodation I’d stay at once in a lifetime. Until I actually stayed here. Because it’s a luxury Hotel, I thought I’d be satisfied if I could stay just once. But this was my fourth stay. Once you stay here, that’s it—you’re guaranteed to come back. You simply can’t get this level of satisfaction at other Hotels in the same price range. Even after comparing options, there are very few Accommodations that can beat this Hotel. Even during the stay, we were already talking about when to come for the fifth time. This visit was wonderful as well. The butlers shared information thoroughly, and although it was our first time meeting this butler, they knew us well, and everything from check-in onward went incredibly smoothly. Also, the handwritten note from the butler at turndown was so cute—it really soothed us as a couple. We ordered lots of room service too. The mango float was delicious. We tried the summer-only edamame for the first time as well, and it was so good we ended up ordering it again late at night. And once again, dinner was outstanding. No matter how many times we visit, dinner always brings new flavors and surprises. Not only the main course but also the appetizers were flawless—and even more than that, dessert was superb. We asked for drink pairings, and they were spot-on too. Dinner time is two hours of pure happiness. This time we stayed to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and since it also happened to be the Hotel’s 10th anniversary month, we celebrated that as well. We were able to share our congratulations directly with the general manager, which made us even more satisfied with this stay. What I thought would be a once-in-a-lifetime trip has become the Accommodation we return to most... We’ll definitely be back.

    Once again, we had a comfortable stay.

    The excitement of “being back” when I see the sign never fades, and this time again I was able to refresh with a comfortable Room, the Onsen, and stunning views. The meals I always look forward to were delicious, and I enjoyed a wonderful time paired with wine. I never imagined I’d get to experience my favorite winery’s wines paired with Chef Nanao’s cuisine. I will never forget that dish. I also enjoyed chatting with all of the staff. It has always been a wonderful Hotel, but even the small details—like the bread box and socks—have been improved, making my stay even more comfortable. I’ll be back again at year-end.

    I felt refreshed both physically and mentally.

    Looking for a Hotel where I could step away from my hectic workdays and truly relax both body and mind, I noticed this Hotel with outstanding reviews. With such a strong reputation, my expectations naturally rose, and I also wondered, “What if it doesn’t live up to them…?”—but that concern was completely unfounded. Thanks to you, I was able to enjoy an exceptionally luxurious and comfortable time. I arrived around 2:00 p.m., but I was able to check in right away, so I headed straight for a bath. After that, I loosened up in the massage chair and enjoyed reading with a cup of coffee in hand—spending an unhurried afternoon until dinner. Dinner was deeply satisfying: every dish was beautifully presented, and the ingredients were harmonized perfectly. I rarely drink alcohol, so I was also very happy to see such a great selection of non-alcoholic options. If I had to mention just one thing, it would be the Western-style breakfast. It was a little disappointing that the omelet had cooled slightly and the pickled vegetables were somewhat dry. That said, dinner was so exceptional that my expectations may have been especially high. Even so, overall it was a wonderful stay that left me feeling refreshed in both body and mind. My spouse and I are already saying we’d love to come again. Thank you very much.

    Excellent.

    The Onsen has excellent water quality, and I have used it many times. Dinner is French cuisine. The portions are on the smaller side, and while it’s not packed with luxury ingredients, drinks are free-flow. With an all-inclusive plan, there is also an extensive room service menu that you can order from as much as you like. With plenty of food and drinks available, you won’t need to worry about going hungry. However, although a butler is assigned, the person introduced as my attendant at check-in did not appear again from dinner that evening until checkout at noon the next day, which was confusing.

    A well-deserved treat: Solo stay in dappled sunlight

    Once again this year, I treated myself to a solo stay and fully enjoyed Komorebi. I was welcomed back with a smile and “Welcome home” from the butler, and Mr./Ms. Y also showed such thoughtful care that I was truly moved by the high level of hospitality—it was soothing from the very start. No matter how many times I visit, I’m amazed every time by the view from the Room. I enjoyed the view from the semi-open-air bath with free-flowing natural hot spring water, made the most of Room service, and was able to relax without doing anything—just taking in the spectacular scenery. Dinner is always genuinely delicious from the appetizers onward, and it’s also beautiful to look at, so I look forward to it every time. This time as well, even down to the sauces, everything was truly excellent. In particular, the tuna-and-beet appetizer—lightly seared tuna wrapped in thinly sliced beets—was refreshing; the shiso jelly had a gentle sweetness; and combined with the sauce it was an unforgettable taste. I asked my butler if there was a light white wine available, and the recommended bottle was very easy to drink and absolutely delicious. For breakfast I always choose Western-style; having freshly baked hot bread served in a wooden box was fantastic. The salad dressing beneath the plate was wonderful too—I enjoyed it while mixing it into my green salad. Last time I was slightly disappointed because it was carrot juice, but I was happy that tomato juice had returned. These days more all-inclusive Accommodations are appearing, but Komorebi is on another level. The breathtaking ocean view from the Room and the semi-open-air bath with free-flowing natural hot spring water are outstanding—but so are the well-stocked amenities, extensive Room service menu, dinner that delights both eyes and palate, breakfast while gazing out at sea, and above all each butler’s exceptional hospitality. It is truly an incredible Hotel where everything comes together perfectly. Everything here is something to look forward to—my reason for traveling is simply to stay at Komorebi—so once again I spent an amazing luxurious time here. Thank you very much.

    Over the past few ye...

    Over the past few years, I’ve stayed in many places hoping to find a favorite Accommodation, but this is the first time I’ve come back for a repeat stay. The hospitality is truly outstanding. The luxurious Room is wonderful, and the view is beautiful, but above all, this Accommodation reminds you that it’s the people who make the difference.

    Luxury love hotel

    When you step out of the elevator into the guestroom corridor, both the elevator area and the hallway have carpet and wallpaper that feel like a love hotel or lounge, lacking the sense of luxury found at the front desk. The guestrooms also feel unbalanced in terms of the sofa, furnishings, and overall space. Having a free-flowing Onsen bath in the room is a plus. At dinner, shochu is all-inclusive, with a wide selection: 14 sweet potato, 7 barley, 1 brown sugar, 2 rice, and 2 awamori options. However, while some wines are free, others are charged and have prices listed—so be careful not to choose by mistake. There is no dress code like at a luxury Hotel; you dine in private rooms wearing loungewear. The food is delicious and uses plenty of premium ingredients such as caviar and truffles.

    Enjoy your stay whenever you visit.

    They have almost everything you could need during your stay, so I end up packing even less than I do for work. The food and service are always outstanding, so I can visit with complete peace of mind every time. This time, I especially loved the snap pea mousse and the pineapple dessert at dinner—and the aburabozu at breakfast too! Recently, more all-inclusive Accommodations have opened and I’ve tried a few others, but I still haven’t found anywhere more satisfying than Komorebi. I’m looking forward to staying again in autumn.

    The more you visit, the more you’ll love it.

    We stayed this time to celebrate my companion’s birthday. As always, all the staff welcomed us and saw us off with smiles. There were a few faces we hadn’t seen before, but everyone’s service was flawless and very pleasant. When we entered the Room, even though we hadn’t requested it, there were instant photos and a mat prepared for us. Once you request something, they remember everything you’ve asked for in the past and have it ready—such a wonderful touch. The dining experience especially impressed us this time. The flavor, presentation, and creativity with ingredients were outstanding—I felt it was even a level above an auberge-style Accommodation. My companion was delighted and said it was the best birthday ever. The more we visit Komorebi-yo, the more we want to come back again. We’re already looking forward to our next stay. Thank you very much again for everything this time as well.

    Thank you, as always, for your outstanding hospitality.

    We visited again this year to coincide with our eldest son’s birthday. We come every June, and even with the same ingredients, we were amazed as a family at how they can be transformed into such different dishes each time. The paired wines were also excellent—your recommendations, remembering each person’s preferences, were truly impressive. We look forward to visiting again next time. The open-air bath in Room 5 was wonderful as well, with a spectacular ocean view through the trees.

    Infinite loop

    This was my third stay at Futari Komorebi. A small luxury Accommodation with just 10 Rooms. All-inclusive, including Room service. The Room is 100 m², with two massage chairs, a private open-air Onsen bath supplied 100% from the source (free-flowing)—and the water quality is outstanding: dissolved solids 13 g/kg and metasilicic acid 184 mg/L. I thought there was no other Onsen in Izu this concentrated, but I was surprised to find that the nearby Mui Shizen has even higher mineral content. There may be a unique hot-spring vein in this area. As an Onsen Sommelier Master, I was genuinely amazed to find water with such high dissolved solids so close by. In the past year and a half, the only Accommodations I’ve stayed at three times are this one and ISANA Resort at Izujogasaki Futo Onsen. They’re in different price ranges, but both are excellent—and you’ll be satisfied either way. Highly recommended. Above all, it’s incredibly comfortable—no wonder it has so many repeat guests. It will mark its 10th anniversary in 2026. Also, since July 2025, operations have been entrusted to Polaris Holdings, which runs the KOKO Hotel brand—bringing major advantages such as stable management and flexible staffing support. And… I went ahead and made another Reservation again...

    Relax and unwind

    This was my first stay. I booked based on the positive Reviews, and it was an even more wonderful Hotel than I imagined. Since I don’t like going to large public baths, my top priority when choosing a Hotel is having a Room with an open-air bath. The spacious Room, the large bath, the lovely amenities, the delicious meals, and above all the outstanding staff—I am grateful for everything. I was able to spend a relaxing and happy time. It’s a Hotel I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you very much.
