    Spacious and comfortable

    I visit Ishigaki Island almost every year, and this was my second stay here. This time it was just the two of us, so we had made a Reservation for a one-bedroom Room, but since there was availability, they kindly let us use a two-bedroom Room. The living/dining area and kitchen were spacious, and we were able to enjoy takeout seafood rice bowls and cut up the fruit we bought, which made for a very satisfying stay. Although the property feels a bit dated, it was well cleaned; if I had to mention one thing, the only minor concern was some black mold in the bathroom. My husband and I are already talking about staying here again next year. Thank you very much.

    This accommodation was honestly a disappointment. I should have researched more carefully before making the reservation. Please have the IKYU staff visit and check the reasons.

    Due to the typhoon, ...

    Due to the typhoon, the ferry to Kohama Island was canceled, so we made a last-minute reservation. According to the taxi driver, this place used to be an apartment building purchased by Takeshi Kitano and turned into a hotel before being sold again. The exterior staircase gives off a distinct old apartment vibe. As it was originally an apartment from possibly the bubble era, the room was spacious. We traveled as a group of five, and even with one extra bed added, everyone had their own bed, which was nice. The facility is old and not well-maintained; there were noticeable odors. Upon closer inspection, wallpaper was peeling in some areas—it’s fair to say it felt unclean overall. The hotel is about 10 minutes by car from downtown and not very close; however, bicycles are available for rent at the hotel. If the weather is good, cycling might be an enjoyable option for getting around.

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    The Facility is old, but it is clean, the Room was spacious, and the location was good. It was about 1000 yen by taxi to the downtown area (one way). It was nice to see a wonderful sunset from the Room!
