    Enjoy a comfortable stay at a traditional Ryokan.

    We requested a smoking-allowed corner Room, and it was more than spacious enough for two people. Even though it was a smoking Room, there was no cigarette smell or any unpleasant odor at all—it was very clean. The Onsen is a bit small, but some Rooms have an open-air bath, so it may not get too crowded. The meals were excellent. We dined in a private room, and my husband enjoyed having a meal while smoking for the first time in a while. The dishes—spiny lobster sashimi, dancing grilled abalone, and Wagyu steak—were all delicious. Breakfast was served in the same private room, and we could grill horse mackerel on a ceramic plate to our preferred doneness; he was also delighted that the Onsen egg was the real thing. Toi is quite an inconvenient place to get to, but I think it’s a great spot to enjoy delicious food and spend a relaxing time.

    A Highly Satisfying Trip to Izu

    A last-minute trip to Izu came up, and we stayed for two nights. We were extremely satisfied with the hospitality that far exceeded our expectations, the well-trained staff, the clean Room, and the delicious meals. Since we stayed in a Room with an open-air Onsen bath, we did not use the public bath, but everything was well maintained and it was a very satisfying trip. We will visit again.

    Renovated, spotless guest rooms with a charming Showa-era atmosphere

    We stayed as a family of four. Unfortunately it rained that day, but when we pulled up to the entrance, staff guided us right away and we were able to check in comfortably. From being shown to our Room to the attentive dining service, the overall hospitality was excellent and we were very satisfied. We chose a private Room with an open-air bath, and the cypress tub filled with free-flowing Onsen water smelled wonderful—the water itself was outstanding. It’s irresistible for Onsen lovers. After making a Reservation for an ocean-side Room, I looked it up online and felt a bit disappointed that it didn’t seem to be right on the waterfront. In the end, though, the view wasn’t bad at all and we could still see the sea, so it worked out well. The rooftop open-air bath (public bath) had an even better ocean view. The meals were also excellent. That said—this applies to many Ryokan—since it isn’t a buffet-style meal, I regretted not being able to finish everything. If you want to fully enjoy dinner, it’s best to keep lunch very light. Another plus was how close Toi Kinzan is. It’s enjoyable regardless of the weather; we visited before check-in even in the rain, and our kids seemed to have a great time. Some areas still have a retro Showa-era feel and do show their age a bit, but that actually added charm. The guest Rooms have been nicely renovated and were comfortable, and with such great Onsen baths overall, this is an Accommodation we’d definitely like to return to.

    I was satisfied.

    - The open-air bath attached to the Room was excellent. - I think the Room needs more power outlets. - There was a protruding stone at the lower right of the door leading from the large public bath to the open-air bath, and I got injured. - The futon was put away during breakfast, but I think this should be done at check-out. That day, the sunset was amazing. The next day, we really enjoyed gold panning. Thank you very much.

    Relax and rejuvenate from a year of fatigue.

    This was our first time staying here. We stayed as a group of two adults and one child. The room and meals were in private spaces, and everything was very clean and well-maintained. The meals were generous in portion, all delicious, with the fresh abalone being particularly memorable. We also appreciated the option to order additional dishes; we added spiny lobster to our meal. Facilities such as the ping-pong table, karaoke, and observation deck provided fun for the whole family. The sunsets and sunrises were stunningly beautiful, and it was heartwarming that the ryokan staff kindly informed us when they were especially lovely to see. The staff's kindness and warmth made our stay even more enjoyable. We would love to stay here again if we have another opportunity!

    The open-air bath was excellent.

    The Onsen had well-adjusted water temperature and quality, allowing for a long and relaxing soak. Thanks to this, I was able to warm up thoroughly to the core of my body and felt very satisfied.

    Be amazed by the large Room with an open-air bath!

    I planned a trip to Toi Onsen to take the ferry from Shimizu Port. The view of Mt. Fuji from the ferry was magnificent and made the journey itself an enjoyable experience. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was their pick-up service at the ferry docking point. They accommodated an early pick-up, which showcased their excellent service. The open-air bath in the room was impressively large and provided a relaxing experience. I would love to stay at this accommodation again.

    Quiet Toi

    I visited Toi for the first time in years, and it was quiet and pleasant with hardly any tourists. However, when using the bath in the Room, it's unfortunate that you need to close the frosted glass door to avoid being seen by neighbors. If there were some kind of covering at the lower part, it would provide a sense of openness and allow a great view of the sea. The meals were delicious, and the staff were kind and attentive.

    During the summer va...

    During the summer vacation, everything was expensive, but this was reasonably priced, so I booked it immediately. The Hotel was old, but the tatami mats were new and had a pleasant scent. The meals were satisfying with elaborate dishes even without any special additions. There happened to be an event at the beach that day, which we enjoyed, and the large public bath was not crowded. The open-air bath had just the right water temperature. Additionally, the sunset was very beautiful. Thank you for your hospitality on that day!

    There is a significant step when accessing the bathroom and toilet, posing a serious risk of falls, including potential head injuries. Immediate improvements are recommended in consultation with an architect. The private open-air bath in the room was spacious and enjoyable. The meal course included spiny lobster and abalone, which were average in quality.

    Completely satisfied.

    We stayed here for our honeymoon. Although we usually book hotels with No Meals Included, this was our first time reserving a hotel with dinner included. The meal was elegant, and even though it wasn't in a private room, the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The private open-air bath in the room had an ocean view, and we enjoyed it so much that we used it multiple times both at night and in the morning. Having a bath in the room allowed us to relax without worrying about time, which was truly wonderful. The room itself was spacious and comfortable for unwinding. From the moment we checked into the hotel, we felt warmly welcomed by their hospitality spirit. It made us so happy that we chose this hotel for our honeymoon reservation! A special thanks to one of your female staff members (a foreigner whose name I unfortunately don’t know) who provided exceptionally polite service—it really made my day! Being able to choose yukatas, enjoying delicious meals, relaxing in a private open-air bath—everything about this one-night stay was perfect! Thank you so much for everything! We will definitely return again!

    Further efforts in attention to detail are needed.

    Thank you for staying in a room with an open-air Onsen bath. The pre-discount weekday rate for two guests was in the 60,000 yen range, and you stayed at a discounted price. I have stayed in rooms with open-air Onsen baths about three times a year with my parents, totaling around 30 accommodations so far. This Facility falls into the mid-range price category. Based on this experience, I felt that the service did not match the price. The building showed significant aging, and there were many areas needing improvement, such as uneven carpets under hallways and issues in the large public bath area. As for the room with an open-air Onsen bath, it felt average. Despite a significant price difference from standard rooms, having an open-air bath seemed to be its only selling point. Typically at this price level, I would expect more differentiation from standard rooms through amenities or complimentary drinks in the refrigerator. The staff included non-Japanese members who spoke slightly broken Japanese but worked earnestly and left a positive impression. Meals were served in semi-private dining spaces where we could enjoy them leisurely; this aspect was satisfying. The meal itself had typical Ryokan-style portions—plentiful but standard fare. Regarding the outdoor Onsen of the large public bath area: there were no handrails available, making it challenging for elderly guests like my parent to use without considerable assistance. Since older guests also look forward to enjoying outdoor Onsens safely, I believe improving safety here should be prioritized first. For me personally during trips away from home—parking facilities are always something I pay close attention to. In my experience so far: accommodations lacking clean parking areas rarely leave me fully satisfied overall because how guest vehicles are treated reflects equally important service standards alongside hospitality itself! Unfortunately though—the parking lot here appeared dimly lit & lacked any visible security measures which left much disappointment behind instead... While free WiFi is provided—it’s noted within Room Information Booklet that internet connectivity relies upon ADSL due absence fiber-optic coverage across Toi-Onsen region resulting extremely slow speeds experienced throughout stay despite smartphones accessing faster 5G networks nearby leaving doubts whether true unavailability exists locally? Overall impression suggests once-grand Ryokan now struggles maintaining profitability amidst modern challenges preventing timely repairs/upgrades necessary keeping pace evolving guest expectations today—but should major renovations occur future—I’d consider returning again someday!

    Due to pigeon issues, windows cannot be opened.

    We used the Room with Open-Air Bath Plan. However, the balcony was overrun with pigeons, making it impossible to open the windows due to feathers and droppings. The bathroom felt like a steam room, and the sight of pigeons flapping their wings and cooing outside was unsettling, making it difficult to enjoy the bath. The balcony was extremely unhygienic with pigeon droppings, feathers, and dead insects. Since we couldn't open the windows, there was no view at all—just a closed-off space. The heat from the constantly running bathwater made the room uncomfortably warm as well. Starting around 4 AM, there was a loud chorus of pigeons on the balcony. Additionally, about 30 cm of caulking at the bottom of the bathtub had come loose and floated inside during use—it felt very unsanitary and unpleasant. We only used the bath once before giving up. The foreign staff members were very polite and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The food was reasonably tasty but lacked any standout flavors or creativity—very simple overall. Traveling all the way to remote Nishi-Izu in heavy rain feels regrettable now. I find it puzzling that so many people have left positive reviews about this place.

    It was a good Hotel.

    I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay of 2 nights. The Room was spacious, and the staff were kind and attentive, making my stay very comfortable. This is definitely one of the Hotels I would love to stay at again. However, it was disappointing that coffee milk after a bath was out of stock from around midday on the second day. My child was especially looking forward to it, so that was the only regret. Additionally, there was no menu provided during dinner on the second day, which felt a bit unfortunate. Other than those points, everything else was truly wonderful, and I had a relaxing time. Thank you very much!

    Excellent bath, meals, and service for complete satisfaction.

    We stayed for one night with six colleagues. The polite customer service and attentive care made our stay very pleasant. The large public bath and the private open-air bath in the Room were excellent. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, with each dish leaving a lasting impression. It was an enjoyable experience, thank you very much!

    It was a very nice accommodation. Although it has some history, the room I stayed in was renovated and provided a very comfortable experience. Both the service and meals were excellent, especially the taste and portion of the dinner, which were perfect.

    Room bath good

    This was my first visit. After researching various options, I found the open-air bath in the room to be excellent. The room was well-cleaned and tidy. There was a coffee machine, and the refrigerator allowed for personal items to be stored. A hot water bottle filled with water was placed in the room after meals, but I would have preferred it from the start. It makes a difference whether it's there or not, doesn't it? Additionally, it would be nice to have yukata and basket bags for going to the large public bath. The meals were delicious as well. The Onsen was very good. Check-out is at 10 AM, but 11 AM would be more convenient; it's a bit rushed otherwise. Anyway, thank you for taking care of us during our stay.

    Onsen is nice.

    Participated in the Toi Sakura Festival. It was my first stay as a room with a semi-open-air onsen was available at a reasonable price. I was assigned to the 6th floor. Although it felt a bit old, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the semi-open-air bath in the room was large with a view of the sea. The quality of the onsen water was good, and the temperature control was perfect, so I took a bath several times. The open-air bath on the 7th floor of the large public bath is even more wonderful. The food was delicious, but not very impressive. (Recently, I've only been staying at a certain membership hotel) I ordered sparkling wine, and all the alcohol was reasonably priced. Toi Gold Mine, Orange Terrace, and Max Value are all within walking distance, making the location very convenient. I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

    The hospitality and the Room were very good!

    We used a room with a semi-open-air bath for our 20th wedding anniversary. The open-air bath in the room was spacious with a great view, and although it was a one-night, two-day stay, we thoroughly enjoyed the bath. The meals in the morning and evening were plentiful, and we enjoyed all the seafood and meat. Since my wife is not fond of meat, we requested a change via email in advance, and they gladly accommodated us by changing to fish dishes. (The pot ingredients were changed from pork to lobster, and the beef steak to grilled sea bream!) The building is old due to its history, but it was well-cleaned, so there was no discomfort. The staff were all cheerful and friendly, making it a very memorable experience. We would like to use it again.

    For those who want to relax, please feel free to visit.

    There were no tourist attractions around Nishi-Izu, perhaps due to our lack of research, but instead, we were able to relax in a spacious Room. Although we don't smoke, we stayed in a smoking-allowed Room (it was our mistake in selection, not the Ryokan's fault!), and the smell didn't bother us. There was a sense of an old-established atmosphere and some yellowing in places, but I really liked that ambiance. I also enjoyed the slow flow of time in Nishi-Izu. This time, we visited as a couple, but the town and Ryokan had an atmosphere that made me think I might want to come alone. During our meal, we were taken care of by a foreign boy (I don't know his name, but he also assisted us in the morning and saw us off when we left the Ryokan), and I thought it was wonderful how hard he worked. His sincerity was conveyed, and smiles were abundant throughout. Thank you for the wonderful time.

    We used it for our honeymoon. They guided us to our room, and the room was very clean and lovely. The game center on the first floor was musty, so we couldn't stay there for long, but... The food was very delicious. This inn seems to value temperature, and indeed, the dishes were served in their most delicious state, with hot items being hot and cold items being cold. I think we stayed at a very reasonable price. It became a very wonderful memory.

    Considering the buil...

    Considering the building, meals, and everything else, I understand that accommodation prices are rising due to the current inflation and inbound tourism, but the cost performance is poor. The content does not match the price. Especially the meals.
