Hotel Italia Ken

My family and I stayed here to attend a performance at a nearby hall. It’s a little far from Niigata Station, but since we were driving it wasn’t an issue, and the affiliated parking lot was right next door, which was very convenient. The staff frequently checked in with us, and they were kind and helpful with our questions, which made us feel at ease.I especially recommend the breakfast, which offers a great selection of local specialties made with regional ingredients. We could try small portions of many different dishes, and everything was delicious—we were very satisfied.On the day of our stay, we received an upgrade to a more spacious Room, which made it even more relaxing. Thank you very much. This time we stayed for one night for a specific purpose, but there are still many places we’d like to visit and plenty of great food to try, so we hope to return for a longer stay next time.

We stayed in an Executive Double Room for two.It was more spacious than expected, and we were able to relax without feeling cramped.The Hotel’s shared areas are also decorated with plenty of artwork, giving a real sense of the historic “Italy-ken.”All of the staff were kind, and the hospitality was excellent.Also, I definitely recommend adding breakfast.The Niigata rice onigiri and local dishes were delicious, along with freshly prepared egg dishes.There was also a great selection of Western-style items, including fruit and yogurt.I rated the bath 3 since it is a unit bath, but I would definitely stay here again when visiting Niigata.Thank you for a comfortable stay—even though it was only one night.
