    The Hotel itself is comfortable.

    As expected of a Nikko Group Hotel, the sense of pride and comfort was excellent, and I really enjoyed my stay. However, walking from the station to the Hotel on a weekend night felt unsafe, and I was scared. On my first night I took a taxi directly from the station to the Hotel, so I didn’t notice this at first, but if you are a woman traveling alone with luggage, it may be better to take a taxi.

    Good.

    The Room is pleasantly comfortable. I’m not sure if they were a staff member, but after checkout in the morning, even when there were no guests in the lobby, I saw them quietly wiping down the luggage cart—very impressive and attentive service, as you’d expect from a JAL-affiliated Hotel.

    Entrance

    Around 3:00 PM at check-in, there was a line of people in suits standing in a row directly in front of the entrance, and even when I headed to the front desk, they made no effort to move aside. When I asked the front desk staff, I was told it was related to a banquet. I wasn’t informed about any banquet—I’m saying they were in the way. I’ve been using this hotel frequently lately, so this was disappointing.

    Although I arrived earlier than the check-in time, they welcomed and assisted me pleasantly. I slept comfortably in a large bed. The breakfast was delicious as well. I will stay here again.

    Regular accommodation.

    This hotel is exceptional. In terms of cost performance, it’s top-class. I’d love to stay here every week, but the fluctuating prices make it difficult during high rates. Recently, I’ve had many early departures, so I haven’t been able to enjoy their renowned breakfast, which is a shame. If the restaurant's dinner offerings were enticing enough to visit just for that, I would use this accommodation even more frequently.

    Spacious area and luxurious facilities

    I stayed at the accommodation for three months while attending a class in Tokyo. This time, as it was the final session, I decided to stay at a nice hotel. The only issue was finding a single strand of hair in the bathroom. Although the facility felt slightly dated, the lighting was well-designed, and the double bed was very spacious, making my stay extremely comfortable with no complaints. The breakfast buffet was healthy and delicious as well. If I have another opportunity, I would love to stay at Hotel Nikko again.

    Welcome to our home in Tachikawa.

    I often visit Tachikawa for work, and when I need to stay overnight, I consider Hotel Nikko if it's available. The quality is excellent, and the beds are comfortable, allowing for a relaxing stay. When the price is around 10,000 yen, it offers unbeatable value compared to other hotels in the area. However, with fluctuating room rates these days and my short stays from night to early morning, I sometimes hesitate. If there were regular customer discounts or similar options available, I would stay almost every week.

    The room was spacious with a large sofa, making it very comfortable. There was a fixed anti-slip mat in the bathtub, which raised some hygiene concerns. Breakfast could be more satisfying with a greater variety of options.

    This was my second stay. Unlike a Business Hotel, the Room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and comfortable. I added breakfast, which was average—neither particularly good nor bad. Perhaps because the stay was reasonably priced, I found it to be an excellent option compared to the recent price hikes in city center Hotels.

    Regular accommodation.

    Whenever I need accommodation near Tachikawa, I always stay here. Being a member is one reason, but the high quality of the breakfast is also impressive. Since COVID, I haven't had the chance to enjoy breakfast, but even with No Meals Included, the high standards of the Hotel Nikko ensure a comfortable stay. There is a one-drink service, but it would be great if it could be made available for takeout so guests can relax in their room. Please consider this suggestion. Due to the impact of inbound tourism, the accommodation cost has increased by about 30%, making it less affordable than before.

    No Meals Included, but the bed was excellent.

    I stayed with No Meals Included, and the bed was very comfortable and excellent. My car was large, but they kindly accommodated me by changing from mechanical parking to flat parking, which was very helpful. I would love to stay again.

    I have stayed here multiple times. This Hotel always welcomes me warmly, making me feel at ease. The clean Room and the quiet, lovely restaurant are especially calming. Sometimes it's hard to get a Reservation though!

    All services were excellent.

    The service and facilities were excellent. We stayed in a twin room with an extra bed added, and it was very comfortable. The room was spacious as well. The breakfast was delicious, and it felt great to see the staff sanitizing even the tables and chair backs thoroughly. I would love to stay here again.

    In Tachikawa

    I traveled from Hokkaido. Last month, I dined at the lobby lounge of JR Tower Hotel Nikko Sapporo and was impressed by the excellent service, so I chose this place for my stay this time. Although I stayed with No Meals Included, the warm greetings and hospitality from the staff, including those at the lobby and cleaning staff, made my stay very pleasant. I borrowed some tableware, and their prompt response was much appreciated. It was my first time at Tachikawa Station, but it was easy to navigate from the station with many shops along the way to enjoy. While Business Hotels where you select amenities before heading to your Room are nice too, I had a relaxing time in this classic hotel. Thank you very much!

    Stay overnight to enjoy a mini-trip feeling after visiting Showa Memorial Park, which is perfect for a day trip. From the moment you enter, you'll notice the calm and clean atmosphere that sets it apart from other business hotels or mid-range accommodations. The friendly and attentive staff provide warm hospitality that makes your stay even more comfortable. The room includes a unit bath, and it's about a 10-minute walk from the station. The restaurant is also clean and ideal for a quick refreshment. There are special plans available such as "First Meal Celebration Plan" and "Wedding Plan." As expected of Nikko!

    The best Hotel in Tachikawa

    Ideal for business use. Stayed for 2 nights, but with limited time spent in the Hotel, I couldn't fully enjoy the facilities. However, it was excellent for business purposes. The Room was spacious, clean, and very satisfying. The empty refrigerator was appreciated as I didn't need to use it. Mineral water is provided, which is sufficient. The only downside was that the amenities felt a bit lacking; a little more attention to detail would be nice. I really liked the compact city of Tachikawa nearby. At breakfast, there was an incident where a middle-aged gentleman accidentally overturned his tray at the buffet area. The staff handled it calmly and efficiently without troubling his wife—very commendable service. Additionally, arrangements were made so guests could enjoy coffee in their Room after meals—a thoughtful touch even though I don't drink coffee myself; I'm sure coffee lovers would appreciate this service. Highly recommended if you're staying in Tachikawa!

    We stayed knowing the price would be high due to the season, but it felt excessively expensive. The breakfast, venue, and the elderly male staff providing guidance were all underwhelming.

    I would like an easy...

    I would like an easy-to-understand map on the website. Google Maps did not display properly, and what should have taken about 5 minutes took me 30 minutes, and it took my husband about 30 minutes to reach the exit. The Hotel had a very easy-to-understand map guide, so it would be helpful if you could post that one.

    The breakfast was delicious.

    This was my first time using this service. At check-in, the system was down, and I couldn't check in. It would have been nice to have a complimentary drink while waiting. (Such thoughtfulness would make me want to stay again.) The shower height in the bathroom was fixed, so it would be better if it could be adjusted. During breakfast, the female staff member who guided us should greet customers with "Good morning." Also, when clearing dishes, don't take them silently; instead, ask, "May I take this?" Is there no one to teach these things? Please do your best.

    It's the best around Tachikawa.

    I stayed in a Moderate Twin. It is a very nice Hotel, with elegance in every detail and impeccable service. Unfortunately, I couldn't have breakfast due to an urgent matter, but I look forward to another opportunity.

    This was the first hotel I visited during the COVID-19 pandemic. Recently, the accommodation fee has increased slightly, but as a member of Nikko, I greatly appreciate having free parking. The hospitality is excellent, and I always enjoy a comfortable stay here. Thank you very much. I will continue to use your services in the future.

    A Slightly Disappointing Incident

    ① Same-day reservation for a stay (room upgrade + newspaper service included). After checking in and receiving the card key, I tried to enter the room, but the card key was invalid, and I couldn't enter. I called the front desk with my mobile phone to explain the situation and waited for a new key. (It seems the key did not match the room number. There was a polite apology.) ② At check-in, I received a drink service voucher that could be used the next day. When I tried to use it after checking out the next day, I wanted to order a cake separately, but unfortunately, there were no products (cakes, etc.) available for purchase. It would be nice if there were at least some options to order with the drink. I ended up just having tea.

    I stayed in a Deluxe Twin. The room was spacious and comfortable. I had made various requests before my stay, and thanks to the attentive service and consideration, I had a pleasant stay. I would like to stay here again when I visit the area.

    Air conditioning issues during this season

    The Room was very spacious and nice, but due to the common Hotel issue of centralized air conditioning management during this season, I couldn't turn off the heating setting. Even setting the room temperature to 15 degrees didn't make it cooler at all, and I couldn't stand it, so I checked out early. It was very disappointing.

    Overall, I was satisfied.

    It's a bit far from the station, but the rooms have been renovated and have a sense of grandeur, as expected from a Nikko Hotel. I wasn't bothered at all by noise from neighboring rooms or the hallway, and I had a very comfortable stay. The separate-type pajamas were also nice. The room was thoroughly cleaned, making it a hotel I would like to use again. Thank you very much.

    I had a comfortable stay. This was the first hotel I stayed at in Tachikawa, and this was my second stay. They set up the requested DVD player on the room's TV. Since it was a long-stay plan, I was able to watch two operas: "Die Walküre" and "Arabella." You can stay at a reasonable price. The breakfast was neither good nor bad; if you say it's good, it's good, and if not, it's not. The variety of vegetables might be lacking. Since udon is a specialty of Tachikawa, it might have been nice to have a dish using udon. The freshly fried tempura was delicious. The drainage in the room's bath is poor, so it clogs. Therefore, I am deducting points. I like the lobby of this hotel. The art piece in the center is wonderful. It's nice that there are candies available. The Tachikawa guide pamphlets are helpful and informative. The issue is the slightly inconvenient location from the station. When getting off at Tachikawa Station and going to Showa Kinen Park, it's a hassle to stop by the hotel, so I end up storing my luggage in a locker at the station. Whether going to Tachikawa Station or Green Springs, you have to walk a bit from the hotel. It's really helpful that this hotel can provide a DVD player.

    I stayed for two nights. The exterior of the building gives a slightly old impression, resembling a typical medium-sized hotel with banquet halls often found in regional areas. It's a bit of a walk from the station, so be cautious if you have a lot of luggage. As soon as you enter, there's a bright and open hall. The interior is glamorous yet modestly arranged, giving a refreshing impression. The woman at the check-in reception welcomed me with an exceptional smile and hospitality. The room was impeccably clean, to the point where you wouldn't notice the slight age of the building. The room cleaning during my stay was also done with great care, allowing me to enjoy a comfortable two-night stay. At the breakfast buffet venue, I was warmly greeted and shown to my seat. The interior was new and provided a very refreshing space. Although the variety of dishes wasn't extensive, each dish was carefully prepared with attention to detail, leaving me very satisfied. The daily special hayashi rice was particularly delicious. It was a bit disappointing that the ordered egg dishes were discontinued. Overall, throughout my stay, I could feel the "pride" of this long-established hotel in the region, and it was an inspiring experience. This is my personal opinion, but I believe the impression of a hotel is determined in the first five minutes upon entering. The radiant smile of the female staff who welcomed me at the front desk undoubtedly made this stay wonderful. I will definitely use this hotel again when I visit Tachikawa.
