    The atmosphere is amazing.

    This Ryokan has an outstanding Japanese atmosphere. The view of Nishi Honganji from the Room is amazing. I would love to stay again.

    A warm and welcoming accommodation

    A charming accommodation located directly in front of Higashi Honganji Temple. While the wooden structure exudes a historical atmosphere, the staff were friendly and warmly welcomed us. We are grateful for their recommendations on current sightseeing spots, including plum blossom viewing locations and temple illuminations. We added breakfast to our stay, and the beautifully arranged dishes in small plates were delightful and incredibly delicious. The rolled omelet, in particular, was soft and absolutely exquisite.

    A Ryokan with exceptional hospitality and utmost comfort

    I chose accommodation with breakfast included. Everything was very delicious and had a gentle flavor, so I ended up eating too much! The tofu was especially tasty. The accommodation is close to Kyoto Station, with plenty of shops around. Although I had dinner outside this time, I've heard that sukiyaki in Kyoto is delicious, so next time I'd like to include dinner as well and visit again. It's a small ryokan, but the atmosphere was warm and homely, and I had a wonderful stay. The traditional Japanese architecture in the ceilings and rooms added a calming touch. It's truly a comfortable ryokan that I'd recommend to many people!

    Thank you for your hospitality.

    I used it for a family trip. The meals, bath, staff, and the hostess's thoughtfulness were all wonderful. Other than the fact that the toilet and washroom are shared (not in the Room) and the stairs to the Room on the third floor were a bit steep, everything was perfect. It was nice to be able to see the illuminated Higashi Honganji from the Room.

    It was within walking distance from the station, and the Room was clean and very comfortable. The service was cheerful and very good. They kindly mailed the jacket I forgot to my home. I apologize for the trouble. Thank you very much!
