    Terrible accommodation! I will never stay here again!

    I chose the wrong Accommodation. The service quality does not match the price. Most of the staff were foreigners wearing “in training” name tags. The premium Room’s bath and terrace were far too exposed to people around us, so I couldn’t relax at all—it was awful. The Room was cold. The amenities were terrible, and the hair dryer was also terrible. The accommodation fee for my 2-year-old was just under 20,000 yen, but the sofa bed and the children’s meal were unbelievably poor, so we didn’t use the bed. We ended up sharing adult dishes instead. I would like something healthier for a child. We stayed to celebrate our child’s birthday, but the meal content was sad and disappointing. None of the food tasted good—was it pre-made? Everything was cold. Some ingredients were so tough they couldn’t be bitten through, and my child even choked on them. The only thing that tasted good was the sashimi. At breakfast, there was a private house right next to us outside the window, and a garbage truck arrived—any sense of getting away disappeared instantly. To top it off, my breakfast set included a yudofu bowl that looked completely unwashed with leftover food stuck to it, making it an awful breakfast experience. Their response afterward was also inadequate. This Accommodation is truly below second-rate; I left more stressed and feeling sick about it. I don’t understand why it has good reviews. For this level of quality, 60,000 yen would be fair at best—this is not worth 120,000 yen at all.

    Accommodation with Delicious Cuisine

    The food was so delicious and the Onsen, including a private open-air bath, was wonderful. Since it’s also close to Tokyo, this was our second stay. Although it’s called a semi-private dining room, it felt like a private room, and we enjoyed delicious meals and another lovely time as always. The grilled live abalone was especially delicious. We would love to visit again.

    Stay for an Anniversary Trip

    We stayed here for an anniversary trip. The shuttle service from the station to the accommodation was punctual. The interior of the accommodation had a modern feel, which I personally liked. Although we stayed in a room without an open-air bath, we were amazed by the breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji and the ocean from our room. We didn’t experience any inconvenience with the facility during our stay. I especially appreciated being able to use the coffee machine and water dispenser in the free lounge anytime, 24/7! As two smokers traveling together, enjoying delicious coffee on the balcony while admiring the beautiful scenery was simply perfect! We also used a private bath twice—on our check-in day and again in the morning—and were very satisfied! As for indoor baths, perhaps because it was a weekday or just good timing, we had them all to ourselves and could relax completely. Meals were served in a private room by a window with views of both Mt. Fuji and the ocean. Since they seated us at an inner table away from foot traffic, we weren’t disturbed by other guests’ footsteps or voices at all and could enjoy both dinner and breakfast leisurely. However, there were some points that bothered me... When staff members prepared meals in the hallway outside our room, there was quite a bit of noise from clattering dishes. While they may have been rushed or flustered at that moment, I think it would be better if they handled things more carefully. Additionally, during checkout when settling payment directly in front of my companion—it felt inconsiderate as this trip was meant as a gift surprise; I would have preferred more discretion regarding costs under such circumstances. That said—thanks to special coupons and point usage through IKYU.com—we managed to book this stay affordably!     Thank you for your stay. Overall, it was good, but there were some disappointing points: The meal was average in taste, but the portions were small, so I felt like having a late-night snack. The simmered golden eye snapper was dry and salty, and the dried horse mackerel served in the morning was also dry. The sound of slippers from other guests walking in the dining area was loud and bothersome. While I understand that all staff members are working hard despite being from overseas, it would be helpful if they could improve their explanations about the meals a bit more. The Onsen in the room had excellent temperature, size, and view—I stayed immersed for a long time. It was also delightful that items like Häagen-Dazs ice cream in the refrigerator were complimentary. If these issues are addressed, I would consider returning again. However, only small-sized Samui (Japanese-style jacket) robes were available, so my feet felt cold during my stay.

    Perfect for those seeking a quiet stay.

    The location is close to the seaside and away from populated areas, allowing for a very quiet stay. The meals are made with plenty of Chiba-produced ingredients, making it a truly Chiba-rooted accommodation. I stayed here in winter but would love to visit again in summer.

    Thoughtful Accommodation

    Enjoy a hearty dinner featuring a fresh and generous sashimi platter, along with a breakfast highlighted by perfectly grilled horse mackerel! This was our second visit, and my parents expressed how glad they were to come back. When we mentioned that the abalone was slightly tough and difficult to cut, the staff kindly added more solid fuel for us, allowing us to enjoy tender abalone to our satisfaction. Thank you for accommodating all of our requests! We also had the chance to use the private bath with stunning views multiple times. We look forward to visiting again!

    I managed to secure ...

    I managed to secure one Japanese-style room with a reservation two days in advance. Despite being a weekday, all rooms were fully booked, indicating its considerable popularity. The room is small, but the view of Mt. Fuji and the sunset from the balcony was beautiful, allowing for an elegant time. I was satisfied with everything, including the elegant free private bath and seafood dishes with abalone larger than expected. If I had to point out any drawbacks, it would be that the entrance from the national highway is hard to find (both genuine car navigation systems and Yahoo car navigation directed me towards a narrow road that was difficult to enter; however, I avoided this and found another entrance ahead without issue—perhaps installing guidance signs would be beneficial). Also, when I went to get some light alcohol before bed from a vending machine, all alcoholic beverages were sold out. Nonetheless, I am considering using this service again.

    Cost performance?

    Premium room on the 3rd floor and a regular room for 4 adults and 2 children. I think the service is good, but it's the first time I've experienced no yukata in the Onsen and no room service despite the relatively high price. Is the room size everywhere the size of an apartment? The size of 1 tatami mat differs by about 20% between Kyoma and Danchima, but here it's Danchima. It's difficult to evaluate, but I don't think there will be a second time.

    It was very good!

    I stayed at the end of the year for a year-end party! Since check-in was done in the room, I could relax, and since there weren't many guests, I could take it easy, which was great! The staff at the property were very courteous, which was nice! The meals were served in such large portions that I couldn't finish them, and I was very satisfied!!! They were very delicious! I appreciated that the private open-air bath was free!! The scenery was great, and it turned out to be an excellent trip! I would like to visit again!!

    The location and the open-air bath are excellent.

    I stayed in a room with an open-air bath. As the title suggests, the location and the open-air bath were truly excellent. Therefore, I am generally satisfied. With that in mind, I would like to stay again in the future, so I will dare to note the points that caught my attention. Most of the points of concern are related to the quality of the staff's response. I understand that there are many foreign staff members, so it can't be helped, but it would be great if they could work hard to improve the level of customer service (or devise ways of serving customers). - Staff greeted us outside the building. However, even after giving my name, they couldn't read the name on the list and couldn't find it. - The floor of the room mentioned during the guidance to the room was different from what I had hoped for. - There was no explanation on how to use the shower in the room's open-air bath, and I had to call the staff back to the room for an explanation when using it. - During dinner, abalone was served, but the butter was left under the abalone shell when it was lit. - Meals were brought one after another regardless of our pace. - While understanding that food preferences are subjective, I would like to raise the quality one more notch. Boldly focusing on abalone, sashimi platter, and simmered kinki, and preparing high-quality rice, red miso soup, and pickles might increase the sense of luxury and satisfaction for guests from the city (in exchange, increase the volume of sashimi). - During the checkout, the amount of the neighboring family's bill was read aloud at a level audible to those around. - No send-off upon departure (though it's not particularly necessary). Except for the room mix-up, these are not major issues, but they result in a below-average quality of customer service. I understand that everyone is working hard, so please strive to improve the standards through guidance and education. Additionally, I would add that although the open-air bath on the third floor (top floor) was great, it was fully visible to people passing by on the road in front, and despite the location offering a view of the vast ocean, I had to close the partition door when using the open-air bath. It would be wonderful if something could be improved. By the way, I used the spa, and both the staff and the treatment were excellent. Thank you very much. I have written various things, but I believe they are all at a level that can be improved. I look forward to your continued service.

    The spa was excellent.

    This time, it's my second visit, and previously I stayed in a room with an open-air bath on the second floor. However, I felt surprisingly close to the guests outside, so this time I got my long-awaited room on the third floor. Of course, it's not that I wasn't concerned about being seen at all, but I was able to enjoy the bath with more peace of mind. The only downside was that I couldn't figure out how to use the shower in this room, which left me feeling a bit cold. However, everything else was almost perfect, and the meals were very delicious. I wanted to go for a spa treatment at another property of the same group, but it always required a phone reservation in advance, and I could never get a spot. This time, I was able to request it at check-in here at Yuumi, and I received the treatment at a very reasonable price, which was extremely satisfying. I held back a little on the meals, but my body was relaxed, and I was able to fall into a deep sleep. When I revisit, I would like to go for the spa treatment again.

    3F Premium Room with Open-air Bath (Japanese-Western Style)

    The staff were mostly foreigners and seemed untrained, which made the service disappointing. The open-air bath was said to be fully visible from outside in a review of the second floor, so I used the third floor. However, due to the slope and location, it was practically at the second-floor level, making it fully visible from outside and the neighboring house. Therefore, I always used a screen, making it feel more like an indoor bath than an open-air one. The food was ordinarily delicious. Also, while room service for food isn't necessary, I would like to be able to order at least drinks.

    I stayed at the property for my birthday. There were many foreign staff members, but the service was polite. The building is old and the keys are not auto-lock. I chose a plan with an open-air bath in the room, but I was surprised because the open-air bath was not hidden at all, as it was right in front of the hotel's parking lot and the beach. Please be careful when making a reservation as your whole body is visible. The shower in the room seemed to be broken, and I couldn't get any water, so I was unable to shampoo, which was inconvenient. The large public bath only had shampoo zones for three people, so it was quite compact overall, but it was clean, which was nice. The meals were neither good nor bad, so I think it's better not to have high expectations. My impression is that the price doesn't quite match the experience.

    The meals are excellent!!

    I stayed with a friend. The meals were hearty and full of seasonal flavors, and they were very delicious. I was also pleased with the welcome drink and coffee service. The quality of the hot spring water was good, but the changing room and washing area were a bit cramped, and the large bath was outdoors, so it was cold. Also, it was a bit inconvenient that the water in the water server was all out. The staff were very kind and courteous, and it was a wonderful property overflowing with hospitality! I would like to stay again. Thank you for taking care of us.

    It was good.

    I visited for a birthday celebration. I received sparkling wine and cake. The food was more plentiful than expected and delicious, which was great.

    A place I never want to visit again.

    We stayed on a Sunday, paying over 50,000 yen per person for a one-night stay with two meals, so we went with high expectations as a couple, but it was disappointing. The entrance was as shabby as an old business hotel, likely because they are using a building from decades ago with some renovations, and the front lobby had a decent design. We passed by an older staff member on the way to our room, but he didn't even nod in acknowledgment. The entrance door to the room looked cheap. The room was spacious but lacked a sense of luxury. The amenities were also lacking. There was no shaving cream. The bath towels and bathrobes were heavy and rough, and the room wear, a samue, was worn out with stretched elastic and frayed pockets, all of which were too used. (If it were mine at home, I would have thrown it away.) The meals were what you would expect from a typical inn along the Chiba coast. We checked out at a desk in the lobby, but the staff remained seated while greeting us, and we had to stand while paying, which made me think they should have provided a chair for us too. The price was the only thing that was first-class.

    Awesome hotel

    The ocean is right in front, and the staff, the open-air bath in the room, and the spaciousness of the room were all very good! All the amenities and drinks in the refrigerator were complimentary, including water, tea, sports drinks, and even alcohol, which we thoroughly enjoyed! And having dinner and breakfast in a private room while looking at the ocean was amazing, but all the dishes were delicious and flawless! We also enjoyed the complimentary welcome drink and drip coffee. This is a hotel I would like to stay at again when I visit Chiba!
